Clearly Not Suited for Therapy (Alicia)

Karin has sent a message to a certain girl by name Alicia, who is a spirit user. Usually, the girl's trauma acted up when it comes to Spirit User. She's still wary about them, especially after one killed a police in their crazed state. Then again, she's no better. In that war... she has killed too. It was legitimate self defense, but who cares. For the real world, they had no idea, but those people probably got family and was decent... before that thing happened in the island. Now those people that she killed will never go home... neither would her fallen allies.
Still, the girl today isn't here to talk about edgy things. She's here in that outdoor bar to drink and invite a certain someone, a certain wise guy that she now for a drink. Currently the girl is wearing bikini topped with beach parka. Cool tropical breeze made it all the more relaxing for her. She'd be fine if Alicia is coming too, because this is related to the Sunderland brothers. She know that three of them are practically really close. That's why... She's here to ask about the spirit user related topic, in hope that they know.
The bar itself is called Bar Aquarius. It's an outside bar that for some reason let their patron drink in open air terrace. Beach chairs and umbrella scattered about with pool on the center. There are candles enclosed in square shaped cover that seem to add the romantic vibe... Karin sighed. She should've asked Yuuki to come...

Alicia blinked in surprise as she received a text from an unexpected source. Frankly she was surprised, after all the mess she’d gotten into around Karin Alicia had suspected the younger woman would want to stay as far away from her as possible. Then she looked at the text more closely.
Oh. She wanted to speak with the Spirit User’s more composed adviser. Her being there, meaning Kisara wouldn’t be far behind, was just a necessary evil that Karin would put up with to get her questions answered. Well… she couldn’t blame her for that. With a quick reply, she informed Karin that they’d be right there in just a few minutes. Literally.
Kisara then popped up beside her with an evil grin. And Alicia looked at her suspiciously. “Kisara… What are you planning?” she asked the ice maiden with a quirk of her eyebrow. That grin always spelled trouble.
”Nothing really. But it’s a beach side bar, isn’t it? You’re gonna look real strange if you jump in just in your standard day clothes.” Kisara shot back with a smile.
“It’s also the Digital World, where strange is practically the norm.” Alicia countered back.
”Have you seen the metaphorical bags under your eyes Alicia? You’re running yourself ragged looking for the bros. I understand though, how much you’re trying to do to take care fo them… but if you break yourself down doing it then what were you going so far out of your way for? After we’re done talking with Karin, stick around and relax, take care of yourself too. They’ll understand.”
Alicia groaned a bit and looked away from the ice maiden. She wanted to counter back against Kisara’s comments so badly, because she was all but absolutely certain there was an ulterior motive. But… she did have a point, much as she was loathe to admit it. “… Fine, but you’re getting roasted if this winds up being used for shenanigans.”
”I’ll just have to take my chances then.” Kisara answered back. Alicia just rolled her eyes and adjusted her plans for her clothing choice, getting a two-piece bikini of her own and wrapping a long sarong around her hips as she did, reaching down to her ankles. All of the articles were red, though the sarong itself had blue fire patterns scattered over it as well.
With that all said and done, she made a slashing motion with her D-Scanner to activate the Digiport function she’d gotten her hands on a short while ago. Her initial reasoning aside, it was just such an amazingly useful tool for getting around the Digital World, and just about anywhere in Shibuya, in just a few seconds, so she would’ve eventually made the purchase anyways. Also it helped to avoid getting strange looks from other people if, say, she were planning or was convinced to go out in a number like this.
Portal opened up, she stepped through and entered the establishment proper, Kisara following shortly behind and Sol manifesting on the other side as well. Spotting Karin right away, she smiled and walked over to her, taking a seat and sighing to herself. “Yo,” she began, “Shall we get right to the heart of the matter?”
Unfortunately, before Karin would have a moment to respond, Alicia and Kisara then noticed her choice of attire as well. And the ice maiden similarly noticed the slight romantic air of the setting. The devious minx couldn’t help herself. She whistled quite prominently.
”Wow, wow! Is someone trying to secretly put the moves on or something?” Kisara commented with a grin.
This earned her an uppercut to the lower jaw from Alicia, making her squeak and pout.

Karin was about to order a drink before the portal opened. She just raised an eyebrow questioningly, but at least the one that appears on the other side is indeed the one who she's waiting. Jeanne beside her just smiled while gently shook her wine glass. Before the woman who came from the portal could say anything, Jeanne decided to quip.
"Well this is amusing how you dressed for the occasion, almost as if you're expecting something, Alicia~" a teasing smirk widened on her pale, beautiful face.
Karin meanwhile just put on a really patented bitchface, directed at Kisara. "You're reading the situation too much, Kisara. Now let's just talk before I cave in the concrete here with your face. I'm sure I'd like the art result. I don't even mind paying the repair fee."
The girl called over one of the waiter. "Give me something tropical... and alcoholic. Citrus based more preferred, thank you." Karin whipped out a membership card that he bring with him to the counter. It's probably the payment for the drink and to apply some discount.
"Go ahead and order, my treat."

Alicia scowled a bit at the angel. “Blame the minx, I couldn’t shoot down her reasoning without looking like an idiot or an insensitive jerk. Even though I was fairly certain she had ulterior motives.” she shot back with a fair bit of venom in her voice. She was not amused by this at all. Then she shot another glare at Kisara. The ice maiden had to know what she was thinking, so she didn’t bother uttering the words out loud.
Kisara just snickered, proving her point. Then she grinned at Karin. “Oh really?” She questioned. “You were very much the aggressor-” She swerved out of the way of a wrench. Apparently that was one thing Alicia would never leave behind. “-when you kissed both of us at the Labyrinth!”
Sol just placed his palm on his face and sighed. ”Oh when will you learn, Kisara...” he muttered to himself with a sigh. Then he had to wince as Kisara yelped, Alicia scoring a hit on the return swing and flooring the ice maiden in question. With a grumble, the red head sighed to herself.
“Sorry about that...” she offered, more to the waiter but also to Karin. “Um… Just something light alcohol. I’ve barely had a taste of it in my life and I’d rather not find out if I’m a lightweight or not. Tropical variety works for me too.” With a soft groan, she shook her head. “I don’t know much about alcohol in general to be honest, the kinds of drinks around that is.”

"You should've known by now," Jeanne commented, laughing while twirling her glass again. "Ah, but I don't mind if you're in mood for something. There are lot of fine men in here afterall. Based on the mood, there are a lot gentlemen here, yes?" she gave wink to two male Digimons who currently walking with their own drink. Just a wink though and apparently it was enough to make two bumped to one another. Jeanne laughed and returned to topic at hand. "Though I don't mind if you're in for the girls too. Lot of girls like handsome woman like you, hmm~?"
Karin herself just want to lariat Kisara for that remark, but looks like Alicia beat her to it. Jeanne just chuckled and resumed sipping her kahlua milk cocktail. Well, looks like it's enough teasing for now, hm? "Jokes aside, I'm glad to see you three fine. Have a seat. Don't worry about not knowing alcohol. I myself just drink to get a bit buzz if you got me?"
"She's quite bottomless, though," Karin commented about Jeanne.
"So is she," the angel shot back. "But it's OK, we're not here to get drunk, right? We're here to discuss something. So Sol, are you ready?"

Alicia gritted her teeth in frustration, glowering at the angel again and clenching her fist tight. It took all of her will power to not say something she’d end up regretting or make a particular gesture that she’d also wind up regretting. How is it that things always took this turn, even briefly, when they were together. Still, Jeanne was now sort of coming to the rescue by forestalling any further shenanigans and letting them focus on what was going on. Mainly the reason why Karin called them out in the first place.
Taking a seat himself, the dragon spirit sighed. ”Something tells me I should get a drink myself.” he muttered. Kisara froze, eyes widening in shock as she looked at Sol. Mindless of the stare he was getting, he flagged the waiter down before he got to far away. ”Strongest alcoholic drink you’ve got on the menu. This is going to be quite a trip I’m sure.”
Kisara then made a point of a dramatic exit, ‘poofing’ into a cloud of tiny ice crystals that melted soon after. Alicia blinked in surprise and was about to ask Sol what was going on… and then she saw the steel dragon shift, making her shudder. It was such the slightest thing, and Sol didn’t look tensed at all…
But that slight movement as he leveled his gaze with Karin’s… it made him practically radiate an intensity of such volume that one could cut it with a knife. ”I am. I will answer any and all questions to the best of my ability. If I cannot provide a concrete answer, I will inform you as such and then present my theory instead in the hopes of assisting with finding the answer.”
Alicia couldn’t help herself, she shrank and squeaked a bit. She felt like she could get crushed by the aura the dragon had...

"You should," Karin commented. "I think there are quite a pent up stress there, hmn?"
Still, it's almost like Sol was mistaken about something? Karin was unperturbed with the aura. She's too used to it. Various SU, including her friends, her and... herself, once they emit such intensity as a natural aura without them even going war ready. If they going all out, then that aura going to flare... but no matter what... the even higher skilled SU, the [Judges] are even worse than this. The Grand Judges, the named Judges are even worse now that she thought of it. Last time it needed six to even make it retreat? What sort of crazy balance is that? ... With their presence alone it felt like your heart going to be crushed... such is the danger they emit... Thinking of it, maybe she's lucky being able to go out while the judges are not focusing on her...
She got sealed in a cocoon though.
"...I wonder if you're seriously understanding that we're just going to talk or you thought I'll challenge you?" Karin wondered, sighing. "Well, needless to say, let's talk. It's concerning the Sunderland Brothers... I think you know that, right? Or maybe you got sort of other guesses?"

Sol took a moment to blink as the comment was made about a misunderstanding. Then he did a mental check-up on himself… and realized a restraint had slipped loose. Now how had that happened!? He was fairly chaotic himself but still!
Regardless, Karin would wind up being privy to one of the few moments the dragon visibly and openly lost his composure, eyes going wide as his jaw parted slightly in a barely contained hiss of panic. He clamped down on that loose restraint hard and the aura suddenly shattered like a glass pane. Alicia did her best to hide her sigh of relief.
”I… am so terribly sorry about that Karin. It’s not like me to lose control of the intensity my presence creates. It was such an infinitesimal slip up too, I would’ve never noticed it if you hadn’t said anything. My deepest apologies again.”
… Was he saying that was just a small fragment of the kind of aura he could exert if he were intentionally doing so? Alicia couldn’t help but pale at the implications. Just what kind of scale had her adviser operated on before coming to rest with her? And for that matter, just what had Karin been through to sit through that like it wasn’t there?
She was so far out of her element it wasn’t even funny anymore.
”Ah… Isaac and Elliot, huh? Alicia had been looking into it herself, but hadn’t turned much up. In the interest of helping buy Alicia some time to let off some stress though… I’ve started doing some digging of my own. I’d hate going over redundancies though, so I’ll let you lead so that I know what you currently have and were we need to go from there.” The dragon spirit continued, returning to the topic at hand.

"That was quite alright," Karin answered. Just on time, her drink came. It's sparkling lemonade with touch of alcohol, mint and honey. The girl slowly sipped it and let out a sigh of happiness. The same waiter also gave Sol and Alicia's portion, but it's clear that he was quite pale from that aura. Poor guy. She can't help but to smirk though.
"Your face looked like that you think you don't believe a normal human like me can sit through that... But trust me, a year ago I'd hyperventilate just at the sight of a perfect coming into play. Now I barely flinched when SU appeared. Because it is what it is. An SU. So what? A lot of those guys aren't as strong as me back in my glorious days... I don't even need Jeanne's help to know what level is someone at. I can roughly guess that myself. However... there are digimons far worse than that in the place where I was locked. Brushing and dancing with death is almost daily thing for me back then. Kill or be killed. Simple as that. But when it comes to those guys... if you can even run, that's your victory. Make them run, it's enough to be celebrated by the entire city. Kill them and you're more than a hero. None of us managed to kill one, though... and it was one SU against six, after that SU fought against twenty who all fell down to the ground like flies. We only managed to make him run after one of us activated his trump card.
Anyway, I'm sorry for the rant. Sometimes I have to let out that stressing thing. Ahem... well, then... Have you two got into contact with either of them? Apparently Elliot is in my school... so I got in contact with him. I was going to invite him to my organization---my boyfriend's specifically. However.... There are more pressing matters. Something happened to the brothers, right? I didn't ask Elliot because I don't want to give him any more problem and save him from explaining to me. I'm just a strangers, but I guess I'm a nosy one.... How to say... Elliot seems very... withered."

Sol sighed to himself and took his drink. Unlike Karin he tipped it back and indulged in the heavily alcoholic drink freely. It wasn’t like he was in any danger of even getting buzzed any time soon. Better to calm himself down quickly in such a case and order another if he really needed it.
Alicia in turn took a sip of her own, her expression souring a bit. “First alcoholic drink I’ve ever had. Not used to it.” she immediately noted in the hopes of warding off any curious glances. Though… didn’t she imply that already earlier? Oh well, better to make sure it was known then to forget a detail. It didn’t help the chilling recollection Karin provided. There were monsters out their of that scale? Intellectually, she already realized that Kill or Be Killed could very easily come into play if one wasn’t careful. And those who dared to traverse the Digital World for any significant period were bound to brush with death more then any other person would.
She herself had already had too many brushes with it for her tastes.
Sol, though, seemed almost… clinically curious about the unfathomably powerful monster Karin and Jeanne had once fought with the support of so many others. Like he’d almost found something that was beyond his expectations but still fell well within his area of experiences. Lifting one hand slightly, the dragon spirit used the claw to etch something into the gauntlet of his other arm.
Curiosity overcoming her, the Steel Spirit User looked over to see what Sol was doing… and found he was writing a note down for later. Specifically ‘Inquire further about abnormal ones if possible later, consider eradication if conceivably monstrous or corrupt enough to warrant action.’ Eradication? The redhead couldn’t help but look up at Sol in surprise. Karin had just talked about how one of them was basically enough to take on a large team of equivalently leveled enemies and only fled on it’s own terms. That wasn’t the kind of being he was strong enough to fight and kill, even in his prime… right?
Neither of them let the reminder note derail them from the topic at hand though, and Sol pointedly looked at Alicia. Nodding to herself and him, the redhead spoke up. “Not really… Isaac’s kind of off the grid and Elliot’s been avoiding me like the plague almost. I managed to luck into contact with someone who had a better grasp of what was going on but… He didn’t seem to know much. Either that or he wasn’t comfortable relaying it to me. Sol, did your digging turn up more?”
”A fair amount. As we know, the brothers are for once in their lifetimes that we’ve known them going their separate ways, something which is anathema to them. Logic dictates that something terribly drastic has occurred. And indeed it is a terrible event that transpired. Does the name ‘D-Reaper’ ring any bells, you two?” Sol noted, leaning forward to plant an elbow on the table and rest his chin on it. Alicia only shook her head, not knowing about whatever creature her adviser was talking about.
”Regardless, the run down is that Isaac and Elliot volunteered to be part of a mission to nip a threat in the budding stages before it could fully awaken and start menacing the Digital World and potentially the human world as well. That threat turned out to be the aforementioned D-Reaper, a monstrosity of corruption-based data that consumes and mutates anything around it into more of itself, eventually spawning subordinate bodies tethered to the primary core and heart that allow it to spread its influence farther and faster. Though I’ve yet to uncover further details, I’ve had naught but a few hours’ time to gather this much, what I do know is that Isaac fell victim to the corruption despite all efforts made to avert that fate. He has found his human form sealed away with little known methods of shaking the foreign data.”
”It is my belief that Elliot’s withered state is a sense of utter failure to help his brother, compounded with deep-seated guilt for the fact that whether at Isaac’s request or not he, in his mind, abandoned his elder brother to his fate and is trying to continue on without him. But constant reminders, such as perhaps lying for his sake to explain away his absence, the sense of wrongness that they are not under the same roof for extended periods of time, the expectation that he will be there only to turn and remember he is absent, they’re all taking their toll on his psyche. The withered state you mentioned is a very severe sign indeed… Unfortunately if the cause is as I believe it is, we can only apply stopgap measures to hold Elliot together unless we were to miraculously stumble across Isaac as well as a method to undo the vile powers that have taken hold in him.”
Well… that certainly didn’t bode well, as far as Alicia was concerned.

Karin already guessed that he avoided Alicia like a plague but damn, to make someone worry like that... wait, she actually got the feeling, it's just... how to say... it's frustrating for sure. She understood how it feel to be on Alicia's position, but at the same time she sympathizes on Eli more.
D-Reaper? It doesn't ring any bell. It's kind of some strange Digital Lifeform or something? If that's the case then it's probably something more of what Yuuki would know better considering how much he tries to dig about Digital World origins.
"...I'll admit, that this is probably in the same vein of what I'm looking," Karin commented. She sipped her drink more, although somehow seeing Alicia felt not used to it is quite funny. "By the way, wanna switch with sweeter one? Try milk based one or something. Back to the topic, Sol... It's probably of the same vein that I'm looking for... See this?" Karin pointed at one of her hair strand that glisten under the light. Unlike the other, the light reflected made it looks like it's made from metal.
"...These used to be the side effect of biomerging. In biomerging... at least in my case, there are several stages. The first stage means that you've crossed some threshold, it's signified by having slight physical changes. Mine is... probably, the fact that I could feel touches on my hair. Cutting hair is really hurt back then. Stage two is where it get funkier. The change turned into another level... In my case, I can move my hairs slightly, like they're my limbs... and they turn metallic, like this. Stage three... is where it start to get really bad. You get your Digimon's qualities, but at the same time, you'll lose something. For example... my boyfriend... his left arm, all of his muscles on that arm and bone apparently turned into metal. At the same time, his eyes completely does not need any form of light to see. It's almost like light is wasted on him. He doesn't need any flashlight. It's almost like he can see as clear as day. Fourth stage is where it get to the worst part. You can no longer separate from your Digimon... and at the fifth stage... there are no you, no your digimon, just one... one being. At times it causes berserk, another time it causes total memory loss... So... before I go to that stage again, I want to cure this," she pointed at the strand. "Oh I can't move it anymore now, but it's probably a leftover from that... if you're at stage two below, you still can heal over the time...
So... yeah, I think it's pretty much the same?"

“I’ll be fine for now, but if I have another one I’m definitely changing.” Alicia answered back to Karin with a sigh, turning her gaze skyward. This was all way over her head, she felt. The fact that her adviser jumped into it like it was nothing was even more jarring then realizing how out of her element she was. How did Karin handle it…?
”I had noticed the odd differences between you and, forgive my use of the term in this context, ‘normal’ humans. I was concerned about bringing it up in a callous fashion though so I held my piece back then.” That and Karin pinged on his senses as something that was only mostly human, oddly enough. Presumably a result of the Biomerging Karin mentioned. He intended to keep a close eye on Maia in case it should come to a time where she goes through the same, just to be sure.
The dragon spirit noticeably leaned in and focused as Karin began to explain the five stages she and others around her had experienced when it came to biomerging. ”Hmm… how curious.” he mused softly, mentally comparing and contrasting what he heard to Isaac’s case. There were similarities, certainly, but… due to the initial cause, he could safely answer in the negative.
”It’s not as similar as you might think. What you have recounted is certainly unnatural, no beating around that metaphorical bush whatsoever. But it’s unnatural in that it seems to be more of something intended to occur being taken to its logical extremes due to… I can’t tell exactly what at the moment. Possibilities range from a glitch or two in the framework of the system governing the rules of Biomerging to something as ridiculous as a one in a million rare gene and/or data file mutating and growing exponentially while in contact with the other.
Isaac’s issue, on the other hand, has an immediately identifiable difference. Where as your condition is likely the result of intended functions going astray, Isaac’s condition is indubitably the result of a malignant infection persisting across all of his then available forms. Something unnatural, destructive, and ultimately life changing or even threatening in nature just by the passage of time regardless of what Isaac does about it. In that fashion it is a much more dire scenario. The two conditions certainly have their shared qualities, but their differences are immense enough that one has to approach them differently.
Sol huffed a bit and closed his eyes, going silent now. It was a lot to think about and he gave that time to sink in as he took another drink, finishing it with that and setting it aside.
“Is… there anything we can do at this time?” Alicia asked of her adviser, getting the dragon to open on eye again.
”I’ve yet to dig deep enough to begin formulating responses at this time. But knowing Isaac he’s probably had time to speak with someone who can give him direction in counter measures.”

"A little bit lightweight there?" Karin teased.
Still, she just continued sipping her drink as Sol explained what he have in mind. "I'll correct that one for you. When in Biomerged state, our human form is turned into Digital. In my case, however, semi digital. Many people find solace in having biomerging being a state of 50:50, human to Digimon, thus creating new form for the Digimon to take. However, in my case... 70:30, human and Digimon. It's pretty much the human takes Digimon's power. Why 70:30, you ask and not 50:50? The reason is simple."
Karin raised a finger.
"First, in 50:50 merge, a scenario we have since long abandoned, the new Digimon will need both the human component and the digimon component to work in sync to get to full potential. If either of the component is unsure, the power will drop significantly. 70:30 eliminates this weakness. The human component can override the uncertainty and achieve full 100% power at all time while making sure that the human won't be sitting duck."
she raised another.
"Second, 50:50 merge often also have movement problem. Human that not used in battling suddenly have to fight... at times their lapse of judgement results in the fused state not moving as desired. 70:30 instead pours the Digimon's experience on the human on subconscious level, thus making the human acts essentially the same as the Digimon. In state of chaos, the Digimon also can subconsciously affects the human enough to do an action. "
she raised another.
"and lastly, armatization type biomerge work similar to spirit user, except with subpilot helping you. In a sense, we think it's much safer than the other type. However..."
She sipped her drink again, then continues ."....it also means that any wounds registered to your body is mostly gonna go to your body for real..." she revealed her scar. "...this also means that we're less durable than most normal biomerge. Fatigue also something to be put in consideration. The stamina to maintain this type of biomerge is also harder on the human's body... and lastly... this side effect I guess.
So, it's not exactly mutation, it's like data that refuses to separate and turned into permanent DNA. In some way, it's like invasion of unknown DNA? When we're assimilated long enough, it'll stick like a glue. That's why I'm thinking, the infection and this case is similar."

“Yep. Can’t hold my alcohol to save my life it seems.” Alicia admitted, rolling her eyes. “I guess that’d be a great way to spike my drink and pull some naughty shenanigans while I’m not thinking straight.” She smirked a bit at that. And then she coughed and looked away. “Kisara’s rubbing off on me too much... I’m so sorry...”
Kisara took the moment to poke in long enough to giggle and grin and how she’d corrupted Alicia into causing some mischief on her own. She promptly disappeared again when Alicia glared at her.
Even with the apology, though, Sol took a moment to cast a look of surprise at the spirit user. Then he shook his head and refocused on the discussion at hand. It was... certainly an eye opener for him. ”The question I’d want to ask is why not 70/30 favoring the Digimon... I see all the points for why a 50/50 split is not always ideal.” he muttered. ”Less stress on the comparatively more frail human, a problem Spirit Users generally don’t have to worry about, while they still provide the energy required to achieve the Super Mega form... And that’s a concern you yourself have brought up too. I can only assume there’s something I’m missing that makes that scenario not viable. Though both ways can incur tolls upon the lesser side in circumstances of extensive use I suppose.”
“Either way, it certainly sounds a lot more similar then we originally thought... I would’ve never guessed that’s how your group handled that level...” Alicia noted tilting her head. “Sol?”
”Indeed, my initial assumption was mistaken, to say the least. If that’s the case then Isaac’s scenario is more of a mutated Stage Four with the purely digital contributor being a malicious virus eating away at the human. Reversible due to the involuntary nature and innate natural and conscious rejections but... difficult. But if that’s the case... Oh God...” The dragon’s pupils shrank to thin slits, and he raised a hand to cover his maw as he pondered the possibilities mentally.
“I don’t like that coming from you. Why are you looking like that?” Alicia asked, sitting straight now in noticeable concern.
”... If these scenarios are as similar as we believe them to be... There’s a Stage Five for this too... Isaac’s very existence could be in danger, as the D-Reaper may be trying to... to consume him in an attempt to restore itself into the physical realm.”
The redhead paled, shuddering. “C... Consume...?”

"There's no need to spike your drinks considering that even without alcohol you're not thinking straight," Karin jabbed. "And that sounded like invitation, Ms. Westfield. Should I take that invitation?"
"Or me?" Jeanne asked, cackling. However, she immediately recovered when Sol asked his part. "Ah, why not 70:30 in favor of the Digimon? Well, if it comes to that, the human would not be able to help us. Human are less experienced in battle. Pushing further the inexperienced component back to the back of your mind would instead make it worse. It's like you're in dream-like state. You won't get hurt as much as 50:50, or 70:30 in favor for human... but... at the same time, due to the human being in dream-like state, the energy supply from the human wouldn't be opened all that well, so... that form tires faster. At least that's what I experienced."
"Sol's conjecture is the same like mine," Karin agreed. "If you think about it, the Digimon data inside me is Jeanne's. She's not willing to hurt me, and it can naturally recede, thus it's not malicious in a sense. It just felt like we're bonding... and that's at the same time what makes it scary. I don't have any neutralizing agent against her data, so mutation came easier than compared to if I am infected... But... in case of Isaac..."
Karin let it trails a bit then continued. "...it make sense that the D-Reaper wishes to corrupt him, and while his body rejects it, then the problem leads in the boy fighting against this infection within him... which of it will win first, I wonder? ... So you can say that the difference is like a tumor and cancer? Hmmm, doesn't feel all that correct."
