Toki Akiyama
Alias:
Age:
23
Gender:
Male
Height:
6'4"
Weight:
190 pounds
Alignment:
Neutral Good
Birth Date:
March 19
Birth Place:
Ishikawa, Japan
Skills/Talents:
Martial Arts Practitioner: Being raised by the instructor of a martial arts school, Toki is versed in hand-to-hand combat. His upbringing has left him in good shape and is rather flexible.
Writing: He enjoys writing haiku and short stories, though will likely deny that his work is any good.
Focused: Is capable of extreme amounts of focus on tasks at hand due to his martial discipline.
Backpack Contents:
Powerstone Shard [City Artifact]: A mysterious, fist-sized, yellow-colored, translucent gem. Energy swirls within it and seems to be attuned to The Great City's, but it's properties remain unknown.
Digivice:
A Blue and White D-Tector.
Personality:
Noble and kind-hearted to a fault, Toki tries to be a friendly person to all who first meet him. He feels he has no reason to distrust anyone before they give him a reason to, which may lead some to believe he’s gullible and too soft for his own good. This stems from a belief he’s adopted that treating strangers with paranoia or distrust simply widens the rift between people, so he wants to mend that by being a kind and reliable person.
Toki tends to help other people whenever he’s able to, even if there’s no guarantee if he’ll even be rewarded for it. Recognition isn’t his goal, he simply wants what’s best for other people. However, this could be a rather negative trait, as his selflessness can be seen as reckless as he gets into situations that are far beyond his capabilities. Regardless, he is committed to the cause of aiding those who need help.
Despite his kind nature, Toki has a seriousness to him whenever he takes it upon himself to train others in battle, a trait he’s not very proud of as he worries he might accidentally hurt people in the middle of training exercises and is the one holdover from his time as an overly serious martial artist. Though in that seriousness, Toki deeply cares about the people who want to learn from him and does his best to be patient with them.
He has absolutely no tolerance for those who respond to hardship with immediate violence or those who take joy in inflicting pain upon others. While most of the time he tries to keep calm and composed, his kind nature has its limits. This typically manifests in him mocking his opponents should their reasons for their actions not seem reasonable in his eyes. Though if his opponents seem genuinely confused about their actions or genuinely want to atone, Toki is the sort that’s quick to forgive and offer advice.
In short, Toki is a friendly, warm, if not stern, person. Those who view him as a friend will have a steadfast ally through thick and thin, and those who view him as an enemy or rival will likely either find his kind nature weak sentiment or see him as a worthy adversary.
Appearance:
Toki is a tall, fit young man with a dark tan complexion. His dark-brown hair is rather long, extending down to the back of his neck and he oftentimes keeps it tied up in a ponytail. Usually has a tired expression, his deep blue eyes half-lidded most of the time. This often gets him into trouble as some people assume him to be lazy or disinterested most of the time. His facial features are soft, almost feminine with the only blemish being a scar running down the left side of his lips.
Whenever he must go out to the city for whatever reason, he wears a grey short-sleeved shirt with black collar, a black jacket he usually keeps unzipped, and a pair of ordinary blue jeans. The only accessory he seems to have on him is a dark blue scarf with white star patterns on it. When training he will be wearing his family dojo's gi, which is dark blue in coloration, and his hands and feet will be wrapped in bandages.
Personal History:
Toki lived a sheltered life in the Ishikawa prefecture, spending most of his time out of school training at his family's dojo. His father, Yosuke Akiyama, wanted nothing more than for his son to be able to protect himself from the harshness the world was capable of, but his perfectionist teachings left him unaware of the negative impact this might have had on his social life and personal development. Toki went through his schooling with very little social interaction, though his grades were definitely above average due to the diligence and focus from his training. Most other students distanced themselves from him, thinking he looked scary or dangerous.
One day in high school, one of the local thugs started pushing him around, asking him to show him what was so special about his family's dojo that made him think he could go around not saying a word all the time. When he tried to ignore him, the thug pulled a knife on him and slashed his lip, prompting Toki to take him down. Unfortunately the thug wound up in the hospital for a head injury when he fell and hit the ground hard. While no charges were pressed due to self-defense, Toki was ashamed and deeply scarred for the experience. He began to fear what his skill could do to people.

Fighting Style:
Toki employs aspects of his martial training and incorporates it with his abilities the best he can. It mostly consists of close-range hand-to-hand combat. Toki prefers the honorable approach to combat, though is pragmatic when the opponent presents an opening otherwise. He is merciful to a fault, refusing to do more damage than is absolutely necessary to end a battle and will never finish someone off without good reason. He doesn't speak during combat unless it's to use an ability.
Abilities:
Passive Ability - Stance of the Mountain: During combat, Toki is less likely to be knocked over or otherwise displaced.
Knuckle Duster: Toki's fists glow with a white aura, empowering him before proceeding with a one-two combo mixing a running/leaping haymaker with one arm into an uppercut with the other.
Strike the Earth: Leaps into the air with his legs tucked in before stomping the ground beneath him which creates a white shockwave around him. [Cooldown: 1 Post]

Appearance: A large rabbit-like creature with brown fur coating its body. Its hands are somewhere between beast-like paws and human hands, as they’re large and imposing but have opposable thumbs for more dexterous actions. Heavy, grey weights are clasped around its wrists and ankles to both hone its skills and add extra impact to its strikes. Said accessories are dark blue earrings and moon-shaped pendant around its neck. Its eyes are a dark blue and almost always fixed on a rather piercing, serious expression. Species: Tsusagimon
Appearance:
Attribute: Free
Family: Nature Spirits/Virus Busters
Type: God Man
Fighting Style: Despite the weapon they wield, most of their motions are methodical and flowing. Their very presence emanates a calm aura that never seems to shatter regardless of the situation. Their abilities focus on the use of crystals and gravity to attack their enemies. The small motions and calm tone of their voice makes the power of each ability unpredictable and staggeringly powerful by contrast. When he must, he wields the large hammer he carries with him to put a stop to those who threaten those he swore to protect.
Abilities: Origin of Suffering [Passive]: For each attack that Tsusagimon uses, one of the gems above his head will begin to shine to a maximum of five. He may choose to activate any number of them to increase the strength of an ability by 10% per gem to a max of 50% for five charged gems. The number of gems used will have to be charged again.
Eightfold Path [Passive]: The innocent and virtuous deserve a guardian to watch over them. All of Tsusaimon’s damaging Area of Effect abilities do not harm allies.
Comet’s Path: Tsusagimon charges his hammer with a radiant energy before attacking an enemy with sweeping, arcing strikes, the energy leaving a brilliant trail as he does so. To end it, he taps the bottom of the pole against the ground and a crystal springs out of the ground to slam into the enemy.
Meditation Surge: Tsusagimon slowly presses his hands together and an area around has the gravity increase tremendously. Enemies caught within the radius will feel a crushing force pushing them towards the ground. (2 Turn Cooldown)
Karmic Resonance: Delivers several quick strikes to an opponent, though no damage is immediately felt. Glowing rings pulsate on the points of impact. At a later point within 3 turns, Tsusagimon can activate the ability again and the rings will disappear, each one feeling like an intense punch in the marked areas. (2 Turn Cooldown. Begins after triggering the damage.)
Crystal Garden: Small azure crystals form in Tsusagimon’s hand as he throws them towards an area of his choosing. They embed in the surface they touch and start to grow into spiraling, floral shapes, cutting and slamming into enemies that happen to be in the way. [3 Turn cooldown.]
Samsara: Upon use, Tsusagimon blocks the damage from an attack used on him. The aggressor feels a sudden guilt for attacking and deal less damage for 3 turns as penance for their aggression. [3 Turn Duration, 3 Turn Cooldown. Begins after debuff ends.)

Moonlight’s Blessing: A shroud of stardust appears around Tsusagimon or an ally of his choosing. If damaged, the shroud gives off a damaging wave of energy before disappearing. Remains active until damaged or when 3 turns pass. [3 Turn Duration, 2 Turn Cooldown]
Nirvana: Tsusagimon presses his hands together and concentrates. The gems above his head splinter and crack before shattering in a brilliant display of starlight in a wide area. After its use, Tsusagimon can no longer benefit from Origin of Suffering for the remainder of the thread. [Once Per Thread]

Ancient Spirit
Species: Kenshimon
Appearance:
Appearance wise, Kenshimon is rather similar to Tsusagimon, though with a couple of key differences. His fur is darker, more silver or blue-gray in coloration. Toki’s scars, including the one on his lip, are present on this form’s body. Dressed in long, flowing blue and white robes with a lunar pattern, he walks barefoot with graceful, silent steps. He also has Toki’s hair, though with a slightly longer ponytail befitting the ronin aesthetic. His eyes retain the eerie quality of white irises and blue sclera.
His weapon is a guardless katana in a white scabbard with lotus blossoms engraved along it. The blade itself is dark blue, made of an unbreakable crystalline substance. The blade leaves behind a faint blue trail and the images of lotus blossoms falling to the floor.
Kenshimon carries himself with an air of dignity and honor, with a kind smile as their most common expression. In battle, he displays an almost supernatural sense of calm and focus and not a single motion is wasted.
Attribute: Free
Family: Nature Spirits
Type: Warrior
Fighting Style: Kenshimon fights using a katana which he keeps sheathed until he uses it for techniques. Swift and precise, each swing is blindingly fast and devasting to his opponents. Many of his attacks are augmented by special lotus blossoms. In contrast to Tsusagimon, this form is more focused on combat as opposed to support and defense.
Tsubame Gaeshi [Passive]: Kenshimon is capable of using two abilities in one turn. 3 turn cooldown.
Furious Storm, Gentle Breeze [Passive]: Kenshimon’s attacks cannot harm allies.
Eight Phase Transient Step: Kenshimon takes a draw stance as seven copies of himself appear around the enemy. Each dash past the enemy before vanishing as the final one slashes past as well. When they sheath their sword, all the slashes happen at once. [3 Turn Cooldown]
Moonflower Trance: A lotus blossom manifests in Kenshimon’s hand in full bloom. A gust of wind scatters the petals as he walks forward. As soon as the petals obscure the opponent’s vision, he dashes past them, sword drawn. When he sheathes his sword, the enemy is slashed by an unseen force. Bypasses armor and defensive abilities. [3 Turn Cooldown]
Petals of the Blessed Moon: Lotus petals float towards an enemy as Kenshimon takes a draw stance. In nearly imperceptible motions, he slashes his blade and one of the lotus blossoms erupts into shining blades that threaten to slice the enemy apart. He repeats this motion several times as the blossoms pursue an enemy. [3 Turn Cooldown]
Moonblossom Tea: A saucer appears in Kenshimon’s hand, full of a shining tea. He drinks the tea, which grants him moderate health recovery and increased defense for three turns. [3 Turn Duration, 4 Turn Cooldown.]
Tranquil Eclipse: Kenshimon dashes forward and seems to vanish for a split second before reappearing in front of an opponent before unleashing a rapid series of slashes at them. If this attack connects, it causes damage over time for 2 turns. [3 Turn Cooldown]
Dance of Scattered Blossoms: Lotus blossoms in full bloom around an area as Kenshimon teleports to each one. As he does, he unleashes wide sweeping attacks that send the petals flying, striking at all enemies within the blossoms’ range. [4 Turn Cooldown.]
Crystal Song: Kenshimon steps forward and a wave of crystals erupt towards a group of enemies in a cone in front of him. Should the crystals make contact, affected enemies are encased in crystal. Kenshimon then makes a single, swift slash along the crystals. The crystals then make a musical, wind chime like sound as the cracks form in the cluster before it shatters in a shining display. [2 Post Cooldown]
Souryūha [Plot]: Kenshimon centers himself, and draws forth the power of Ebonwumon to his blade, before slashing at a target, sending forth a near-transparent beam of azure energy from the blade. This technique entirely ignores those viewed as allies, piercing straight through them as if they didn't exist, to strike powerfully at a target. Deals high arcane damage. (3 Turn Cooldown)
(RAM Upgrade Giga) Meditation Cure: Takes a deep breath to focus his body and mind. The tranquil meditation heals him for a large amount, but it takes quite some time to reach that level of focus again. (4 post cooldown.)
Starfelling Slash: Kenshimon swings his blade upwards, tearing open a rift to a a celestial dimension from which crystalline shards rain down in a large area, damaging any enemy within the radius. The tear remains for two turns after activation. (2 turn duration, 4 turn cooldown.)
Celestial Redirection: With a swift draw of his sword, he parries an oncoming melee attack, deflecting the attack and delivering counterslashes that embed a shining symbol. The symbol is the kanji for moon and it shatters for additional damage equal to 50% of the countered attack. (3 turn Cooldown)
Moonblossom Style – Midnight Illumination: Kenshimon draws his katana and prepares himself. The sky cracks and shatters, revealing the image of a full moon as a storm of lotus blossoms rush an enemy. If the blossoms contact an opponent, they will lift them in front of the moon and bind them there. Regardless of the result, the blade of Kenshimon’s katana shines brightly in the moonlight, energizing it as he leaps towards the opponent and delivers a series of devastating slashes before landing and sheathing his weapon, dealing immense damage to the foe. Damage is slightly mitigated if the enemy is not caught by the blossoms. [Once Per Thread.]
Loaded move: Shadowstep: A veil of darkness/fog/whatever element of his choice covers Kenshimon in his entirety in the blink of an eye, making him look like he’s vanished in his entirety. However, in reality, he then reappears within a 500 meter radius of where he used this ability to retaliate with absolute ease. He can use another attack and/or ability the same post he uses this ability, however, both cooldowns will be increased by one. This cannot be done with any OPT attacks he may or may not have. [3 post cooldown, 4 if used in conjunction with another attack]

Ancient Spirit Mode Change
Species: Kenshimon (Mantra Mode)
Appearance: Similar in appearance to normal Kenshimon, Mantra Mode has some key differences. There’s a shimmering across the fur on his body as it shines like stars and the top part of his robe is gone. His hair is no longer tied back and waves about from the sheer power this form emanates. This form does not have a sword, instead it wields crystalline gauntlets and greaves formed from the floating gems present in Kenshimon and Tsusagimon’s forms. The glow from his eyes seems to be far more intense. The tranquility is still there, but it is contrasted by a controlled fury that few can hope to match against for long.
Attribute: Free
Families: Nature Spirits/Virus Busters
Type: God Man
Fighting Style: This is a form of Kenshimon that focuses entirely on hand-to-hand combat. Its strikes are said to carry the weight of comets and the explosive force of stars.
Abilities:
Ancient Peacekeeper (Passive): Kenshimon cannot harm allies with their abilities.
Anger of a Gentle Soul (Passive): Kenshimon is highly protective of his allies. As such, if allies are harmed in his presence, his attack power is increased by 5% per ally damaged for his next attack to a maximum of 20%.
Moonblossom Style - Sacred Lotus: A blue-white aura surrounds Kenshimon’s arms and legs as he attacks an enemy with a barrage of intense punches and kicks, each strike exploding with a burst of energy that takes the form of a lotus blossom. (2 Post Cooldown)
Moonblossom Style - Star Shower: With a punch upwards, the skies above Kenshimon shatter, revealing a starry dimension from which crystalline spears rain down in a 50 foot area of his choosing. (3 Post Cooldown)
Moonblossom Style - Celestial Mirage: Kenshimon takes a deep breath as each of his motions are followed by several afterimages. He dives towards an enemy and begins a series of sweeping strikes. The afterimages not only make the attack hard to track, but they also have a strange mass to them. They copy each of Kenshimon’s punches and kicks with equal force, subjecting the chosen enemy to dozens of strikes in mere seconds. After this attack is used, Kenshimon is harder to hit for the next turn due to the disorienting nature of the afterimages. (4 Post Cooldown)
Moonblossom Style - Blessed Moonlight: An illusory moon hangs in the sky above Kenshimon and his allies, healing them with its radiant aura. Maximum Targets: 4, including himself. (3 Post Cooldown)
Moonblossom Style - Crystal Song Kai: With a mighty stomp forward, crystals erupt from the ground attempting to encase a group of enemies in a cone in front of him. Should this succeed, Kenshimon would walk up to the crystal and place his open palm in front if it before closing his fist and striking with crushing force. The crystal splinters and cracks, a song-like chime echoing out as it shatters, damaging those caught within. (3 Post Cooldown)
Moonblossom Style - Petal Dance: Petals kick up around Kenshimon as he jumps towards an enemy with a lunging roundhouse kick. Should it connect, Kenshimon continues to spin and strike with sweeping, powerful kicks before ending with a somersault kick. (2 Post Cooldown)
Moonblossom Style - Starbreaker: Energies gather around Kenshimon’s legs as he leaped towards an enemy. Striking at the enemy’s center of mass with a powerful knee strike, the enemy will find its defenses sundered for 2 turns afterwards. (2 Post Duration, 2 Post Cooldown afterwards)
Moonblossom Style Ougi - God-Shattering Star: Kenshimon steps forward and strikes a kata with each step. As he steps, cosmic afterimages trail behind him until he stops and waves his arms up, images of his arms trailing behind. All at once, the afterimages and arms converge back to his body, enveloping him in a brilliant azure light. He then charges a chosen foe in an attempt to strike them with a heavy punch. Should this punch connect, hundreds of cosmic arms will pummel the opponent, followed by Kenshimon punching with his other hand to follow up with another barrage. Finally, Kenshimon leaps back and concentrates the remaining energy into his legs as he dives in for a devastating, explosive kick that few defenses can hope to possibly defend against. (RAM Upgrade Giga) Meditation Cure: Takes a deep breath to focus his body and mind. The tranquil meditation heals him for a large amount, but it takes quite some time to reach that level of focus again. 4 post cooldown.

DNA Mega
Species: Anubismon
Appearance:
Attribute: Free
Family: Virus Busters
Type: God Man
Fighting Style: Adept at long range encounters and support, Anubismon prefers to keep their distance and control the enemy's movements through Final Mausoleum and attacking through various abilities conjured through their staff, Wisdom. They are not defenseless in close quarters either, as their sword, Prowess, grants them the ability to recover damage through successful strikes.
Abilities:
Wisdom [Passive]: The name of the staff it carries. Through the abilities that incorporate the staff, which are Ammit, Pyramid Power, and Judgment Rays, Wisdom marks a chosen opponent damaged by it. In the case of Judgment Rays, only one enemy in the area of effect may be marked. Marked enemies take 30% more damage from the next source of ability damage from any Digimon. If the marked enemy is not damaged within 2 turns, the mark's effect ends.
Prowess [Passive]: The sword Anubismon carries is shaped like an Egyptian khopesh. Through martial mastery and meditation, damage dealt with either Requiem Dance or Banishment Blade heal Anubismon a portion of health based on damage dealt. Health recovered stacks with Wisdom's bonus damage against a marked opponent.
Ammit: A blinding ball of light manifests around their staff, Wisdom, and fires it in the shape of a beam towards an enemy.
Pyramid Power: Using its staff, Wisdom, Anubismon creates a prismatic pyramid around an opponent and fires a beam of energy into it. The energy reflects off the interior surfaces of the pyramid, rebounding multiple times against the trapped opponent. (2 turn Cooldown.)
Judgment Rays: Takes their staff, Wisdom, and raises it into the air in one hand. Then, they point towards the area of their choosing. Several beams of light rain down, searing the area and enemies caught in its radius. If used on Final Mausoleum’s area, damage is increased due to heating the sands. (3 turn cooldown.)
Otherworldly Blessing: Large scales appear behind Anubismon and a spectral flame representing their allies is weighed against a feather. As the feather is heavier, the worldly pains of allies in an area are alleviated, healing them for moderate damage. (3 turn Cooldown.)
Banishing Blade: Anubismon’s sword, Prowess, glows with an ethereal light that phases through the opponent, seemingly doing no damage. When the glow fades, all cuts made against the enemy slice into them at once. This ability bypasses defensive buffs but can still be avoided or parried. (2 turn cooldown.)
Requiem Dance: Performs a skillful yet deadly series of slashes against an opponent with its sword. Each movement and swing is masterful and calculated and the resulting clash against a skilled opponent is like a marvelous dance.
Final Mausoleum: Taps their staff against the ground and the space beneath an area begins to warp and shift into a swirling whirlpool of desert sands. Enemies caught in it are slowly pulled towards the center. Upon the end of its duration, a massive pyramid rises from the center, damaging enemies still caught in the sands. When used on this area, Judgment Rays’ attack power is increased due to heating the sand. (2 post Duration, 3 post cooldown.)
Remembrance: Calls upon the data of heroic Digimon to form a small army of digital specters to charge into an enemy group, dealing massive damage and judging those of evil intent in a glorious showdown. (Once Per Thread]

Mercenary - Aylin
Digimon Name: Aylin
Default Form: Lunamon
Gender: Female
Alignment: Neutral Good
Inventory: Crystal Bracelet given to her by Tsusagimon
Personality: Supportive and positively brimming with energy, Lunamon is the bright spot in any room. She works tirelessly to bring joy to those who need it. It’s her goal to make the world a more peaceful, happy place, though she knows that keeping it that way forever is an impossible task. That doesn’t keep her from living in the moment and allowing herself to assist others in their time of need.
While recent events have left her in a slightly melancholic state, the companionship of her dear friend Toki keeps her spirits up and reminds her that hope is still alive in the Digital World. She harbors some guilt over being partially, if unwillingly, involved in the incident that forced Toki’s spirit to sacrifice itself. As a result she seems more dedicated to helping Toki as a sort of atonement.
She despises cruelty and manipulation, having been subject to both. Those who gleefully use and control others for their own benefit disgust her and she’s not shy about letting people like that know her disdain for them.
Aylin is also incredibly studious and well read, knowledgeable about many Digital World phenomenon and the nature of Digimon in general. She loves to learn more about the world and those around her, so she will take any opportunity to study something new.
Aylin will strive to help those in need until the very end. Though it isn’t always easy to keep fighting through the hardships, she finds happiness in the joy of others and will always be by Toki’s side to support him.
Personal History: Aylin is the daughter of Tsusagimon, the Digimon that became Toki Akiyama’s spirit. Long ago, when she was still very young for a Digimon, she witnessed the final death of Tsusagimon, something that shook her to her very core. Though heartbroken by the loss of her father, she stood fast to rebuild and keep his dream alive. A dream of a better, peaceful Digital World. It took her some time to open up to people, but in time she started to work together with others in pursuit of this.
In order to better understand the world, she began to study the nature of Digimon life and how data is renewed throughout its various cycles. Through her studies, she learned of a relatively new phenomenon for time. Spirits. Sometimes when a Digimon’s reached their last cycle or were deleted, lingering remnants of their data will form spirits for some purpose. Fascinated by this knowledge, she took it upon herself to keep track of various ancient places all across the Digital World. She became an archaeologist and historian of sorts, studying data and scriptures.
Upon meeting Toki many years later, she desperately wanted to believe his spirit was what she was looking for. Throughout their journeys together, she brought him to various places important to her father, and sure enough, Toki was the one. She wanted to be there for his successor. Unfortunately, this made her a prime target for manipulation and was forced into kidnapping Toki to supposedly bring the real Tsusagimon back. Because of this, she once again witnessed her father sacrifice himself to save another. She was utterly devastated, thinking she lost not only her father, but her best friend…but shockingly, Toki extended a hand to her. And so she reached out once more to be with Toki through thick and thin.

After graduation, Toki was sent to Tokyo to attend university, where he currently lives by himself in a small apartment near Shibuya. The noise of the city overwhelms him and hates that he can't find a quiet place to practice or truly be alone. Once again, people seem afraid of him due to his height and expression, which only further fed to his growing insecurities.
-----
Much about Toki’s life has changed since he began his adventures in the Digital World. While much of it was for the better, there have been some true hardships throughout the journey. Once, he blamed his father for his former antisocial behavior, though upon instruction and soul searching with his Digimon spirit, he came to realize that it was largely his own personal faults that led him down a path of isolation. Throughout his time as a Spirit User, Toki has made many friends, allies, and has since reconciled with his father, Yosuke Akiyama, who turned out to be a tamer himself.
The once shy, quiet, tired young man eventually became well known across the Digital World as a tireless warrior who strives for peace and harmony all across the Digital World and hopefully the Human World by extension. It’s his dream that one day, the Digital World and Human World can coexist and learn from each other in a way that benefits everyone. He’s known for his kind-hearted nature and compassionate ways, but also for his unflinching resolve in the face of adversity.
Throughout Toki’s experiences in the Digital World, he has been part of several major events. One such event was when he aided in the destruction of several Control Spires in the across the world, events that awakened his self-confidence in battle. Urged on by his spirit, he fought to the best of abilities, and the awful devices were destroyed. Seeing the peace that brought to the regions, he realized that he wanted to nurture and protect those who needed help. Thus, his mindset came into being. It’s the duty of those who have strength to protect and guide those who have yet to find their own.
That protective nature reached its pinnacle during an assault on the Eastern Timberlands. A small-scale war broke out as the enemy tried to find and destroy a totem representing one of the Sovereigns, though Toki was more focused on assisting those trying to escape. Through quick planning and strategy, he was able to guide the Digimon to safety and defeat one of the soldiers, MetalPhantomon, in battle. However, he was terribly wounded in the encounter. Healed by a fellow spirit wielder, he pressed onward, work not finished.
The climax of the battle for the forest tested Toki’s mettle. The first time he achieved his Mega level state, he supported his allies in the encounter against a rampaging Megidramon. Though brute force wasn’t enough…so he pleaded with the Sovereign’s totem and in turn, Ebonwumon was awakened and through its awesome power saved the forest and prevented to balance from being tipped towards chaos. Toki was given a very small fraction of Ebonwumon’s power afterwards.
From that moment onward, Toki was known in the Digital World. He had friends, he had bettered himself as a person, he was becoming a heroic figure people looked up to. He felt complete…but it wasn’t to last. During a mission to stop a spirit totem black market, something went horribly wrong. A figure from his spirit’s past tormented him and shredded the data of his spirit in an attempt to corrupt it for their own gain. Though a group of his friends managed to push through the stronghold, Toki’s spirit was too corrupted. In a final act of sacrifice, his spirit used the remainder of its being to force a repair on itself. That day, Toki lost a dear friend…for the spirit lost its sentience afterwards.
Though struggling through the loss of several friends throughout his journeys, Toki realizes his story is only just beginning. The pain and the hardships he went through were things others were also experiencing. No matter how hard it got, he had to find the strength within to support those around him. Maybe through this, he’ll find the support he needs as well.

Heavy, grey weights are clasped around its wrists and ankles to both hone its skills and add extra impact to its strikes. Sapphire Strike: Blue gemstones wrap around ZenCherubimon's hands and either does a swift chopping strike or a palm strike to an enemy.
Master's Decree: The orbs fly out to an area and begin to rotate around each other at increasing speeds. Afterwards, the orbs return to him and he bows his head back respectfully. (3 turn cooldown.)
Souryūha [Plot]: Zencherubimon centers himself, and draws forth the power of Ebonwumon to his palms, before directing them towards a single target, sending forth a near-transparent beam of azure energy from both hands. Ancient Spirit
Moonlight Mandala: With a wave of his hand, a bright pattern begins to form around Tsusagimon. The design is intricate and perfectly detailed and once complete, it surges with healing energy, providing health to three allies within its radius. [3 Turn Cooldown]
All attacks entering the area of effect are completely nullified for one turn as it is shielded by the miniature star formations. After its use, Tsusagimon can no longer benefit from Origin of Suffering for the remainder of the thread. [Once Per Thread]
Souryūha [Plot]: Tsusagimon centers himself and draws forth the power of Ebonwumon to his palms, before directing them towards a single target, sending forth a near-transparent beam of azure energy from both hands. This technique entirely ignores those viewed as allies, piercing straight through them as if they didn't exist, to strike powerfully at a target. Deals high arcane damage. (3 Turn Cooldown)
Moonlight Aurora: Shining blue crystals appear behind Tsusagimon and connect to each other in an array of starlight, weaving an intricate pattern akin to shimmering wings behind him. The crystals then build up energy and fire multiple, multi-colored beams of brilliant energy in a wide area in front of him. [3 Turn Cooldown]
Moon Fall: Tsusagimon increases the gravity around his hammer to massively increase its weight, though he's still able to carry it without issue. He leaps towards an opponent and slams the hammer into them, knocking them away from the sheer impact of the blow. If the opponent happens to hit anything along the way, it will likely create an enormous crater. [2 turn Cooldown]

OPTIONAL EVOLUTIONARY STAGES - DNA DIGIVOLUTION
