Humanitarian Aid... now that was something she was excelling at...
Despite her client being an oversized xenophobe, she would not refuse to help out digimons (and humans alike) in need, much less for the generous reward that would await her. It was not only in accordance to her own moral code, but also the business ehtics of P.R.O.F.I.T., and killing two birds with one stone was always an outstanding win in her point of view. With the aid of her faithful companion Vertigo the AceJetmon, this mission would certainly be a piece of cake, especially since supporting others was the best skill she had under her belt.
Sitting inside her partner's cockpit on this calm Autumn afternoon, she could feel and see Vertigo swiftly losing speed on purpose, initializing a semi-landing. And as he came to a halt, engines soaring a meter or two over the battlefield's torn soil that was all that had remained from a fight unseen, the cockpit opened itself up and allowed the CyberSagitamon Huntress Mode to leap out of it. Landing gracefully with the aid of her jet-boots, she quickly began to scan the area in an attempt to find the camp in which all the innocent victims of the struggle were located at.
At the edge of the small war-zone, the fully armored digimon eventually spotted both curious and afraid gazes upon her just a short distance away. The poor wounded were naturally anxious, having just experienced hell on not-Earth, which was completely understandable. Not holding a grudge and not hesitating, she turned around to remove the large supply crate, easily the size of a car, that was hog-tied to the AceJetmon's underside. With an inaudible 'thump' it drop to the ground, Vertigo's engines being much louder than any adjacent sound.
Firmly nodding to him, he immediately soared back into the sky, serving as an omnipresent eye just like they had planned before in case more threats would approach. While it was unlikely, she would not risk her efforts being in vain, and naturally she would not allow more harm to come to these casualties who thankfully had survived. Now by herself, she utilized a weak form of her 'Translucent Singularity'-ability to levitate the crate with sheer force of will. Shifting her body to the small camp, she steadily approached it, her white pelt around her neck, her charming tail and long coat of blue binary code gently waving in the mild breeze that was perpetual today.
As she arrived at the edge of the camp, grass replacing broken earth, she looked at the wounded Rookie digimons who gazed back at her, unable to defend themselves from whatever would be imposed on them. There were two other aiders, a Green Bucchiemon and a Chuchidarumon, who appeared most willing to defend their fosterlings despite shaking at the sight of Cion. Despite her gracefulness, her appearance had something menacing, had it not? The balance of amenity and striking fear into the hearts of fiends was a difficult one, and even someone as sophisticated and kindhearted as the vulpine digimon was not perfect in that regard.
Dropping the crate, she shook her head and started to open it up. "Don't be afraid. I was sent by ElDoradimon to aid you." She explained calmly, her partially synthetic voice briefly worrying everyone present. But at the latest when they saw the crate open, revealing a lot of food, drinks and sleeping bags, all worries were replaced with elation, although the dozen or so injured fellas hardly managed to laugh, muscles and bones hurting too much for any such rapid movements.
"Vertigo? Please drop a Sanctuary Ward, would you kindly?" She asked for her partner's help through the earpiece hidden in her helmet. He in return was happy to comply, a large projectile soon hitting the ground behind the ascended CyberSagitamon, which quickly unfolded itself into a super-advanced beacon. For every being present, it emitted a beam akin to an aurora, green yet mostly translucent. Soon, all that needed first aid would feel a warm, soothing sensation upon them as superficial injuries were mended, removing a lot of the pain the victims experienced.
Nodding to the Green Bucchiemon and the Chuchidarumon, they would gather the supplies and distribute them to everyone too weak to get them themselves. And as they did so, Cion slowly walked up to each and everyone and knelt down to him, gently putting an arm upon their shoulders. Each time, a stream of golden, blue data would enwrap her target, removing the severe injuries that had befallen them as if nothing had ever happened to them. They would still feel jaded and would require some rest so their bodies could fully attune to their regained health, but other than that they were already perfectly fine.
Some managed to sit up already, expressing utmost gratitude with all their soul, some even crying due to being so overjoyed. They thanked the mercenary as they ate their rations, gazes of admiration often falling upon her. Of course they were grateful for the other two aiders help as well, but it was her that had become a hero who saved the day in their eyes. Yet, as it was natural for a fine, graceful lady, she did not decide to shower in praise and instead modestly found contentment in their thankfulness and decided to stay to keep watch along with Vertigo in the sky.
It only took a couple of hours of peace and respite, dusk slowly creeping up the horizon, until there was no more need for the camp. Wish sincere goodbyes, the former victims and their relatives as well as the aiders left the area to return home. With everything done, it was time for her to depart as well. Within the same hour, she would meet up with the representatives of ElDoradimon again to report on her mission and receive her reward.
Humanitarian Aid... simple, expedient, glorious. This should have given the reputation of the organization she was working for a nice boost, and also should have fueled a couple of hearts with goodness that might have otherwise remained neutral. Yeah... today had been a good day.
