The sound of wind harshly blowing against the floating land mass was the only solace Kajunemon afforded during this entire affront. Finally, while the others would no doubt make their escape, Kajunemon simply hung by the hole... waiting for the group to make their escape as he knew the Angel would give chase, maybe even outside of it's jurisdiction. Good... less regret for what Kajunemon had to do.
As planned, they came through and with a simple turn of his hips and shoulders, Kajunemon pushed off the land mass with force to create a massive crater behind him. The Angel sent attacks in all directions, some scanned, looking to knock the fox off course. With a little steering help from his prior forms, the fox narrowly weaved between the attacks, but not without some burning on his fur. Though still behind them, Kajunemon looked to do exactly what John suggested... melt the wings. Or at least, clip them!
The Ronin straightened his body and brought his sword around, channeling the Flying Fox[/i] move, while it was more meant to be struck in the ground, it would work just as fine with the sword planting itself in the back of the Angel. As he grew closer, with the attacks still on him as well, Kajunemon flipped and moved to feet forward bringing his sword up and aimed clean for the center of the Angels back.
If left unchallenged, then the guard would find how quickly his wings could melt. He also noticed that Cassimer was charging an attack as well, and prepare for that as well, should he miss, he'd use his own attack to land into his, creating a powerful shockwave that would send everyone in all directions...
Given he missed and the Cass' attack did hit Kajunemon instead of the Angel. Because if he was hit with a two pronged attack from a Super Mega and Mega... likely there would be nothing left save the data.

At this point, the Mikemon was simply along for the ride: with the prize of the mission clutched deep in his arms, he simply held the totem against himself, and otherwise kept himself as 'small' as possible, curled up conveniently in the CresGarurumon's grip. There would be little chance for the armored mega to counterattack in this position...
... And even less room to dodge. Just as K's words roared out to the team, the heavy blast rocketed around them, a seemingly sheer wall of light surrounding him from all sides. He grit his fangs, a red glint passing over those amber eyes.
If she takes one of those without shielding...
Thankfully, both John and Casimeir and Kajunemon were quick on the take. With both of their delay, only K and Mikemon had put themselves ahead of the Super Mega, and were currently in sight of the angel. In fact, he started to tuck his wings in, lowering the air resistance in a way to 'dive' and chase after the falling pair even faster.
He would try and direct another star to finish off the target... only for the large glint of light from the Terra Force give away the attack from behind! "Hm?"
The group below had done nothing to stop the Seraphimon from turning around! With John's attack careening towards them, the angel simply angled half his wings enough to spin once in the air, 'catching' that Terra Force between his two holy swords. With one flick of his wrist, that energy would be cut in half, sailing down through the atmosphere below. This would let the 'Flying Fox' strike right against him, the Seraphimon simply raising those blades to defend. They'd likely shatter on impact, the resulting explosion sending him rocketing downwards!
But then again, that would put him closer to K...
Log:
Bombardment has struck K, heavily damaging her back! Seraphimon has turned to face the rear group! Terra Nova has been sliced in half and deflected! Flying Fox is partially parried, destroying the holy blades the angel had created!
K is decelerating back to Terminal Velocity. Kajunemon is is decelerating back to Terminal Velocity. Seraphimon is decelerating back to Terminal Velocity.
Time to impact in free-fall: 2:30

Her allies were quick to react to her clues weren't they? Just after he call out Casimeir threw his signature energy ball at the angel in hopes to damaging the wings or back of the Seraphimon. The only real reason why she could tell that he did so was because of the light; she didn't dare turn around for the moment as she was still trying to cope with the amount of damage she had received.
She didn't get to see what the Kajunemon did; but by the sounds of it naturally the attack would be powerful. The CresGarurumon gripped her polearm tightly and consider something briefly. Her back armor and such was badly damaged by the Seraphimon. She couldn't take another attack there without suffering or potentially being deleted.
So what did the CresGarurumon do?
Well the only thing she could do, she flipped around in mid air using her polarm as a maneuver point. She took in what she saw for a moment before pointing her spear towards the Seraphimon. There was no going back in general; there was nothing she could really do at this point. Cadence required a beat to follow; ebony strike required melee distance and her polearm vault required her to use her weapon to jump. But she really didn't have much in the way to jump off of, as if she used the side of the hole they were falling into she'd just launch herself at the wall.
Vector Lance...
It was arguably the strongest move she had in this form; one that replaced the heavy hearty strikes of her other attacks with a multitude of spears. She felt the spears materialize behind her for a moment before her free fall put her past where they had been summoned. There was maybe another second before the spears launched themselves toward the target. The CresGarurumon got a quick count of the spears as she fell, it was difficult to really tell but she figured there had to be at least twenty.
If the Seraphimon dodged this or blocked it it'd leave him open to those from above. But if he didn't block this he'd suffer quite a lot of damage from how many spears there was. She'd whisper painfully more directed towards the Mikemon than those above...
"It's all I've got for now. I've got one more trick but it's... it's going to hurt a lot."
Log: With the angel's defense against the other's attacks K follows up with an attack of her own! Shifting her position so that she's falling back first as another attack to that location would surely force her to de-digivolve or be deleted!
Ten Fold Defense cool down: [1/3]
Attack Used: Vector Lance: Summoning up a wall of spears behind it this digimon may shoot out as many spears as it pleases; using the polearm in it's hands to direct the spears to it's preferred spot of attack. This may launch up to half a dozen attacks, each having roughly three to nine spears in each. This may be used anywhere from one to six times. However once you stop attacking with this ability that's it. This ability can only be used every three posts. [Spears rolled: 25]

If the Seraphimon was distracted by K's desperate attack, it would give him the opening that he needed. "John, I'm moving in to try and disable Seraphimon to make K's attack more successful. Prepare yourself and hold tight!"
The human simply answered with a nod of his head. And in an instant, the WarGreymon's speed increased now that he was putting his flight ability to use. And all the while that Casimeir homed in on the angel, the Chrome Digizoid claws emanated a golden glow which soon turned into energy.
There was a glint in Casimeir's eyes. With this technique which he was preparing, the Seraphimon was going to be attacked on two fronts. And with the damage done to its wings, their ability to surmount an escape was limited. This was no longer a fight. This was a vie for survival.
Satisfied with the amount of energized data around his claws, and now within striking range of the falling angel, the WarGreymon made his attack. Casimeir reached both of his arms on high. "War Driver!" With all of the Mega's might, both gauntlets were brought down in a crossing pattern to slice into Seraphimon's torso.

At this point, the Seraphimon was metaphorically pinning himself to the wall. He had many many factors working against his momentum; With Kajunemon’s move taking his wings, with Seraphimon’s target lining up her own attack and with the Wargreymon giving chase as he crossed his claws. He had learned that now instead of fighting a very capable warrior... he had to deal with two more.
Kajunemon quickly spun the blade around and gently set it in it’s sheath. Taking a deep breath as each one of his six tails ignited with a brilliant red flame. He tucked his body and extended forward, effectively shifting to a head first position in order to bring his arms closer to his foe. He closed his eyes and used his ability to fly to launch forward, it wasn’t much in the way of speed. But he didn’t need to rush forward with this... only to shift his body to aim.
Each flame on the tail crawled through his body to a meeting point in his fist and with each gained flame, his fist began to shake as though he was struggling to lift a heavy object. It felt it too, while he held the attack, his muscles ached and begged for release. A calming opening of his eyes, a dead set aim. He target was clear and there was little in the way to make him doubt he’d miss. Not with what was about to happen. This was a commitment, if Kajunemon missed... he’d be a hard meteorite to stop, but even that was part of the plan, should it happen!
With another aim to intercept the Angel, he suddenly rocketed forward, bringing his fist up and aimed clean for his back. But as hard as it was for him to stop... the Angel would realize that was only half of his problem!
It was serene... the sound of rushing wind was the only the filled Kajunemon’s ears until he broke the silence with two words;
”Inferno Cross!”
Should it hit, Kajunemon wouldn’t be surprised if it split the armored foe in two! What with the coupled force of the fall and the sheer strength of the attack, not to mention the explosion that Cass, Mikemon, K, Seraphimon and John would feel!
He had, after all, leveled a building with this attack!

Against three opponents, the Seraphimon really didn't have a choice where he ended up in this makeshift game of pinball - but with the last strike by Kajunemon, the CresGarurumon would find the armored angel quickly approaching his position. Tensing a fist, a fresh glowing blade appeared over his right wrist, just as K turned to face her combatant.
Little else mattered: so long as the Seraphimon could pry that totem out of her arms - alive or bursting into data - then he could worry about the other two shortly after. As the spears would rush in, a single swipe of his sword would scatter the lot of them in twain, metal debris littering the air. The doctor clenched his teeth, as the Seraphimon dove closer...
"Tch!"
Ingrate dragon! Feeling that harsh blow from the Wargreymon against his back, the Seraphimon was thrown off-balance, a shift in that shoulder glancing the rest of the mega off of his armor. "Insolent... I'll shatter-
He couldn't even finish that thought, before that flaming blow blasted right into the flat of his back! Without even a moment to scream, the Seraphimon's data cracked, and exploded into a myriad of trash data in midair, scattering out in all directions... oh, right, the shockwave! It would likely be too fast for many to notice, but as Kajunemon, Wargreymon, and CresGarurumon were all on different sides, the impact and resulting concussive explosion would send them scattered in all directions - Kajunemon and Wargreymon would likely be scattered off to the sides, while K and Mikemon would be vaulted down, rocketing towards the earth!
Log:
The combined efforts of the three have rend the Seraphimon into data - but the 'Inferno Cross', as it stood, would likely send at least Casimeir and K rocketing off wildly into the sky!

K stared up at the angel as she continued to fall, thoughts of what she could do still rushing through her mind. If her spears didn't do the trick, if Casimeir's attack didn't do enough, if Kajunemon's powerful ability didn't do what they needed it to. What could she do here staring towards adversity? Her grip tightened on the spear and she could feel the metal of the haft complain just a little bit.
The angel scattered her spears like raindrops and she let out a small huff of displeasure. To see something like that get swept away so quickly... But then there was Casimeir's strike that landed home! Even though it was just mega it was enough to make the Seraphimon be thrown off balance. He was quick to shift that shoulder so that the other mega was glanced off. But at least there was damage! However the Seraphimon seemed to think that it could do something.
Then there was that powerful attack that Kajunemon made
Her eyes widened as Inferno cross slammed into the Angel's back. Then the angel was simply gone. The explosion that followed made an impressive shockwave that hit the two of them which made the Cresgarurumon shudder. She'd pause for a moment while they were falling even faster now. Without hesitation she'd put her spear in her mouth; rip off her cloak with her free hand. Regardless of what mikemon was saying or what he'd do she'd use the cape to tie the other digimon to her spear. Gripping the weapon for a moment she'd look for Kajunemon briefly and upon spotting them She'd throw the spear as hard as she could even setting herself into a tumble for it. Mikemon was in no position to save himself.
He couldn't fly, he could barely move and if he got hurt who was going to tend to that totem? She made a split second decision and was betting that the other two would be able to catch the mikemon. Now about her fall....
Well she had quite a long way to go, her front portion was still armored and if she timed it right she potentionally could slow her fall. If she was able to digivolve to ultimate she'd have a better chance to slow herself; but she would only do so if the mikemon was caught!

John's heart nearly jumped into his throat the instant the Seraphimon threw him and Casimeir away with a mere shift in his shoulder. And with the added shockwave which collided into the pair, their momentum only increased. The notion that the Super Mega was so difficult to take down was to be expected, being a Data-type Digimon battling against WarGreymon, who was a Vaccine type.
Casimeir tumbled through the sky and the whole world felt like it was spinning out of control. John was never one to experience air sickness, but he was now in the clutches of onset nausea. But the WarGreymon would not allow this to happen much longer. He gracefully corrected his motion and escaped the tailspin. Now back in action, the Mega and John urged themselves to make a daring rescue for K while the Mikemon would likely be rescued by Kajunemon; all while John did his best to endure his upset stomach.
Simply flying toward K would bear nothing in return as a result. It was basically the same situation like before in the void chamber, when John had to throw Mikemon toward K during the last fight. But there was another problem; the ground was quickly approaching them. Rather, it was the other way around. But surely, Casimeir and John could reach K in time. Right?
The WarGreymon made himself embody the shape of a spear once more to adjust his aerodynamics to optimal efficiency. To aid his effort, John hugged himself as close as he possibly could to Caismeir as to not interfere with wind drag. "Hold on, K!" John shouted against the ripping winds. "We're coming for you!" John didn't concern himself with whether K could hear him. All that mattered right now was saving their friends.
More and more the gap closed between the dragon and the CresGarurumon.This was now a race against Time. One that had the potential to be fatal as well as result in a costly failure.
Being a heavier Digimon, Casimeir was capable of catching up to K, whereupon he made a desperate attempt to reach for her and pull her into a cradle. The WarGreymon would be sure to make the landing as soft as possible.

After the roar of the attack, and the attack erasing the Seraphimon from existence; everything seemed to slow down to Kajunemon. The data cascaded around him as he fell through it, only absorbing that which was a little more potent than the majority of the weaker data. Ensuring that the Seraphimon would not be given the chance to return.
He fell backwards, closing his eyes as he concentrated, listening to everything around him. The wind silenced as he heard the sound of something cutting through the air toward him. A quick turn of his hips and a level of his head revealed this to be a spear! Coming from the direction of K. Perhaps she dodged an attack and it was headed his way? Kajunemon readied his sword, aiming to make an easy deflect. However, as he focused on the spear he noticed something tied to it... a cloak that dipped slightly, as though there was a pudgy little body in its confines. What was more, K was falling backwards, in a way that appeared she had just thrown something.
Kajunemon didn’t blink. He knew what this was. With another shift and turn of his hips, he judged the distance and flew forward sending searching fingers to catch the spear and in seconds he found his mark;
Mikemon would like feel a sudden stop in his likely unwanted voyage and almost instantly find himself in a much warmer, much fuzzier embrace as Kajunemon moved him into the crook of his arm. Careful not to smash the much smaller Digimon. With that out of the way there remained one stark problem;
K, was rapidly falling to her doom and unable to control her decent, which it seemed Cassimer was handling, but that didn’t mean he got to watch or rest. Kajunemon shifted his weight, leaning back and pushing his foot in the air and guiding to intercept K, just in case Cassimer missed;
”Hold on tight, Kitten.” he spoke with an almost defeated tone as he narrowed his body and flew after K, also going after her in the event she couldn’t shift down. He knew Cassimer would be alright and Kajunemon would land with little to no impact, should he keep his body level. But at this height and this speed, aerodynamics and weight meant nothing, they would have definitely reached terminal velocity by now, which meant there was really only one way to catch up to K. Kajunemon would have to fly toward her!
As much as he wanted to reduce to his one tail mode to rest, and even with Seraphimon’s loaded data, this was taking its toll... but he couldn’t rest. Not yet.
He’d reach out for K, and in the event anyone missed, he’d try to catch her then make a last second ‘break’ in the air and land. This landing was not going to be gentle, but with the spread surface area and cushion of Kajunemon’s arm, Mikemon should be alright, as with K if he caught her. As he landed, both his feet planted and cratered into the ground. With a sigh, he rose up slowly, leaning down and checking on his passenger;
”Sorry about that, kitten. Still alive?”
He’d give a soft pat on the cats head and set him down, turning a bit and looking at his hands, then sighing as his form began to shift. His muscles shrunk down, becoming more lithe as the entirety of his frame joined the endeavor and his six tails flicked out to just one. Before long he was a much smaller, much more slender version of the fox that was just fighting, the Seraphimon data helped, but he would need to rest after a fight and fall like that.

In a dire time like this, well, Mikemon wasn't just about to do nothing.
In the few seconds that the feline fell in K's grip, the CresGarurumon quickly set her plan into motion - and the Doctor set his own. He would not object as he was tied up in that cloth, but rather, he pressed his own paw against her armor. As quick as she had to move, perhaps she wouldn't notice the dark energy burning against her frame, dark lines connecting his claws to her armor. There was no other effect at the time: the spear was thrown, straight up in Kajunemon's direction. Perhaps expectedly, Casimeir made their descent towards the mega.
With only a light grunt, Mikemon found himself cradled in the Kajunemon's grip. Once he found himself stable, the cat's words quickly belted out: "Hold on, yourself!" There was no way that the WarGreymon would have been able to catch up by himself, but the cat thought of something: solidifying his 'Shadow Stitching', the cat gave a harsh pull upward. The several stitches fell taut for just a moment, snapping just a moment later - but it would slow K down just enough for the dragon to catch up.
K would be caught, by the WarGreymon - and a mere ten seconds later, all three of them would land, somewhat roughly, but alive. Should the five of them look up, they'd see that island as a speck in the distance... and thankfully, no reinforcements coming to rain down holy terror upon them.
The cat gave a sigh, gritting his teeth at Kajunemon's question. "Somehow. Everyone else...?" Yup - at the very least, no-one in this party had snapped into data upon landing. Slowly getting up to his feet, the Mikemon would hold that totem under one of his arms, giving a nod to the rest of the group.
"Alright... so..." The cat fought to speak, between deep, tired breaths. "WhiteWater is the closest city. We should... if possible... take forms we didn't use up there. Stagger our arrival between ten and twenty minutes apart..."
Other than that, the cat gave a nod. "I'll make sure the payments come in smoothly. It should go without saying: this stays between the five of us."

K didn't see what the doctor had done, nor did she have any idea what it even meant. She was glad to watch the spear go, glad to see that the others were coming after her in such a fashion. But it was kind of in the zone of being somewhat too late in that regard. They were going so damn fast.
She saw the struggle of John and Casimeir to try to catch her. She'd make this soft exasperated sound as she continued to watch her spear sail towards where the Kajunemon had tumbled. It was the most effective route to entrust the cat to the large fox. She wasn't being picky but she certainly was being careful even in the event of her crashing down.
She wasn't expecting the sudden yank that helped slow her down, she looked somewhat exasperated. But grateful that the cat had been caught along with the spear. There was a a strange moment before she was caught by the WarGreymon. And then quickly did they crash into the ground, it was a rough landing but the explosive breath that followed was certainly one of relief.
"Thanks for the catch."
The CresGarurumon slowly stood up dipping her head in a small nod to the WarGreymon before gingerly allowing herself to de-digivolve into her renamon state. She looked exhausted and put a hand to her head.
"Sounds like a good idea... I'll see you all later."
She wasn't about to argue with the mikemon, nor was she going to mention who was the actual benefactor from this mission going successfully. She was more surprised that they managed to pull this damn thing off. Stretching for a few moments she'd groan and feel her joints pop. The soft light of digivolution took her again and she was quickly revealed to be a form that she had only ever taken once before.
Sangloupmon
It was a form she had never shared with anyone; very few actually knew about it usually. The canine stretched and then took off with a gentle trot that broke into an eased run. She thankfully didn't look like she was in a terrible hurry which might just add to her 'story' if anyone asked.

John was quick to slip off of Casimeir's back. His landing created a soft thud, and he simply fell backward onto the grassy field in which they stood. The human let out a drawn sigh. "I can't believe we actually pulled that off." The human was still tense, unable to shake a nagging feeling of dread. No angelic warriors were after them, did they really get off that easily?
John's eyebrows rose when Mikemon included that this mission was to remain a secret. "As much as I hate to say it...You're right. But I feel bad that I can't even report this to AEGIS. Sophi would kill me if she found out." The human sat upright in order to look at the others. "It was for a good cause at least, right?"
Casimeir, in the meantime, shifted his form to his Agumon state and plopped himself right next to John. "Wow. That whole mission was...An experience. We made a great team, huh?" Despite the gravity of what they all just accomplished, Casimeir wanted to remain optimistic with his tone. "Guess we're never visiting the Empyrean Skies again."
John looked over to Kajunemon. His expression was inquisitive. "Sorry, but we haven't properly met. Genesis and Viktor aren't anywhere to be seen, so..." He studied the fox's features while he tried to put two-and-two together. "I take it you both fused? I never knew that was possible."
John at least made sure to say goodbye to K while she left as a courtesy, as well as to others who might leave. He secretly hoped that they could meet up again some time. But after all that transpired today, the pair was just ready to go home and relax. They were glad to have a portal function on their Digivice, which John activated and stepped through with Casimeir after giving one final goodbye to whoever remained.

And with that, Kajunemon would allow Mikemon to settle down and speak, instructing them to head to the nearest city. Which together would be an issue normally... but right now they were out of the Skies jurisdiction, and no-one but the skies enforced their laws. Even if they all ended up on billboards across Terminus and White Water, no-one would bat an eye. 'Just another person who pissed off some official' they would say. They always did.
Kajunemon stretched and rotated his hip, adjusting his now overly large pants as he sighed, turning to the human who asked;
"I am Kajunemon. Not Viktor. Not Genesis. But yes, I come forth when the duo fuse."
He didn't really continue any sort of conversation, and in fact, seemingly wanted to cute it short. Perhaps it was the fatigue setting in, but the battle was harsh on him, so he needed rest, and it was relatively new to the duo. He rotated his neck, stretching the still burning muscles as maybe a visit to an inn and a nice warm bath would sort the aches that plauged his now slender body;
"Damn Angel. He got what he deserved." The fox said, adjusting his sword now as it looked a tad too large for him.
Kajunemon turned to K just before she left, wanting to say something but decided against it as he turned and faced John and his Agumon partner;
"We will see eachother again, paths often verge in the direction of the righteous."
With another turn of his shoulder the fox, did and about face and began walking to White Water, rumors of a rising threat in the Dark Area persisted, and when they persisted like this... often they were more than rumors. It was time to take a look little deeper.
