Mihai watched Katsura's reaction worriedly. The way she hugged her partner telling him she was uncomfortable. It had been a good thing he changed the subject when he did. It still worried him but it wasn't his place like he told himself earlier. What she needed was someone she could confide in and admittedly an older man probably wasn't at the top of that list. There was a slightly older girl in the area too though. It was in girls natures to confide in each other, right?
"I'm admittedly lucky and unlucky in the same aspect," Ioana responded to Tawna. "It's great he wants to fight and all but he'll just get in the way in the future. Guy has to learn how to leave the fighting to the big girls."
The tropics sounded nice to Mihai. Though his image of the tropics was probably a little more adult like with fruity mixed drinks and lines of swimsuit wearing girls and guys on the beach. Knowing this place he thought it was probably quite a bit different but he couldn't imagine what digimon may sunbathe in such a place.
"It sounds like a really lovely place," Mihai said wondering how Ioana felt about sand. "I'll have to add it to my list of places to visit."
He also understood her sentiment about wanting to share it with her family. He wanted to kind of share it too. He just didn't want his siblings in danger let alone the idea of adding a whole other world to their plate. They were still so young, learning and in school. He didn't want to ruin what they have in the semblance of normality now that they had it.
"Maybe we can go together sometime. That way you are with someone you know and can have fun with," Mihai said smiling. Afterward pondering if that sounded creepy at all.
"And for good reason," Ioana piped up as the dark area was mentioned. "That place is ten times as dangerous and full of nothing but evil digimon." She eyeballed the blackgatomon suddenly wondering if that is where she is from. And also suddenly worried that it was an evil child moment.
"If it was nothing but evil digimon I doubt she'd be alive," Mihai said suddenly hoping he wouldn't have to break up a fight. "There's a little good in everyone. I'm sure there are some decent digi-" He fell quiet at Ioana's glare. She wasn't having it, huh?
"Don't be...racist," Mihai said the last word hesitant uncertain of what to call it.
"It's fact. Nothing good has ever come out of the Dark Area," Ioana huffed.
Mihai rubbed his head. Landmines all around the poor guy. He tries to make decent conversation but one way or another someone was uncomfortable, mainly the youngest. He didn't want that one bit either.
"We get it there's a lot of places you don't like," Mihai grunted. "Don't go downing others for it though." Mihai said sternly glaring at her.
Something told Ioana to drop it. She huffed at his tone and turned away beginning to lick her fur. Her form now ridged at his scolding.
"It's good you have friends," Mihai said turning and smiling at Katsura. It means she had others to rely on.

The Meicoomon seemed to sneer slightly at the Labramon's attitude involving the Dark Area, which was somewhat a rare sight as they were definitely more often not reserved to keeping even hostile emotions to themself. "Oh? And dare I ask if all that hails from the Empyrean Skies is holy and just in their reasons?" they asked in a judgemental manner, they not hiding that they had somewhat a sore opinion of the Empyrean Skies. The Dark Area was a wretched place, but only a fool would lump all of it's fruit together.
Haru on the other hand just seemed to try and take things in stride. "Hey look, I think the best way to go about things is to go off how one acts rather than where they are from or what attribute they are! Maybe this Dark Area place isn't exactly sunshine and rainbows, but there's probably SOME good folks down there!" she ended up trying to vouche for the Dark Area's inhabitants. She wasn't completely naive in that there WERE probably some bad Digimon down there, but there had to be some good ones too.
"At the same time, it is somewhat true there just are as many wicked Digimon. It matters not where one goes, evil is always present." Tawna added in, crossing her (given very short) arms.
Haru nodded, admittingly expressing SOME interest. She's already met plenty of nice people here in the Digital World, so why would the Dark Area be the exception? Besides, Katsura clearly had some people she could call friends even in a place as dim-sounding as that! "I'd love to go there sometime! It'd be a new experience! Maybe you could introduce me to your friends Katsura?" she ended up pluckily speaking, earning her a slight sigh from Tawna.
"... Why are you so interested in visiting our world's version of Hell even? Man... humans are weird."
Haru just seemed to puff her cheeks up, a slightly miffed look on her face. "Oh come on... lighten up you grump. What's wrong with making new friends?" she ended up speaking before shrugging it all off. "I mean, like you guys said! Safety in numbers, right? People just gotta work together more often, that's all!"

Behind the cheerful front, Katsura rolled her eyes at Mihai because of the things Ioana just said. Really? Friendly or not a digimon can easily be the size of a house and some even able to destroy a house. And here is a guy who goes out front, not out of faith in the goodness, not because he has super powers or fancy gadgets. No, he just thinks it's a good idea. Since Mihai is so good at reading Katsura so far it would be easy to tell from looking at her face and body language what she currently thought of him that he's reckless idiot or what the army would call a loose cannon. Especially as she turned away while giving him the classic teenage "what an idiot"-look. Nyao who apparently knew what Katsura was thinking spoke up. "Maybe I should fight him." "Sigh, absolutely not." "Aww come on, it'll be fun." "We're not sending a random stranger to the hospital." "Awww" Obviously neither assumed Mihai would have any chance of winning this hypothetical fight and it stands to reason they agreed with Ioana, the only question they couldn't agree on was whether they should humiliate him or not. And they had this dispute over Mihai and Ioana's talk about the beach. They finally realized that Mihai is actually a person in the world when Ioana mentioned the dark area as full of evil digimon. "Hey, a digimon can't be evil! Some of my friends are dark digimon Nyao is a dark digimon." Tawna likewise was equally triggered mentioning Empyrean Skies, sarcastically suggesting it as a better place to visit. "It's easy to end crime when you arrest everyone who sneezes the wrong way. It's the Emperor all over again."
She then listened to Haru and Mihai in what was escalating into a verbal fight. Katsura took the lazy approach by waiting until Haru suggested meeting Katsura's friends in the dark area. "Sure, Piedmon is really nice and he could use an audience for his stage plays. Ever been to a banquet before?"

Mihai wasn't sure what to make of Nyao asking to fight him. Or the fact it was an automatic loss. Still, he wasn't about to push anything farther. He wanted them to get along despite his mouthy partner. She had told him she doesn't get along with anyone but he really hadn't seen it in action till now.
First Tawna says it isn't evil and then she says it's their version of hell. Ioana closed her eyes at this oxymoron. Everyone was against her so there was no point in arguing it rather she would just remain quiet and stew. This was one of the reasons she didn't get along with anyone.
A show and a banquet sounded nice. Mihai had been to a few with his mother. His father hadn't been much for the banquet itself as for the theatre. His mother handled most of the interactions. While the idea sounded nice he wouldn't ask for an invitation himself. He knew Ioana wouldn't like it for one and for two he wasn't sure if he would be welcomed by Katsura. There was one word that stood out though to him.
"Emporer," Mihai said questioningly. He wasn't aware of a political system here but then again Ioana wasn't one much for cities or books either. He doubted politics were of interest to her either. It could also be a reference to her home.
Ioana made no remark about how they blew her comment out of proportion. No one gets arrested for sneezing it just doesn't happen. She stopped thinking about it as she didn't want to open her mouth again.
Finding a distraction she looked at her tamer's legs. She wondered if her saliva could heal the wound. It could heal her and other digimon but she had never tried it on a human. She wondered if he was too different for it to work. She pondered the idea trying to ignore them.

"I-I'd hope you wouldn't send him to the hospital... He's banged up as is!" Haru ended up somewhat worriedly exclaiming towards Katsura and Nyao. She was frankly the type who tried to avoid violence when possible, which put her at odds sometimes with Tawna in that aspect.
It took a moment for Haru to realize that Katsura was talking about the Japanese Emperor, at least way back when Japan was in on that horrible mess of a war 70ish years ago. It made her wonder just how bad the Empyrean Skies was... or well, if there are enough bad individuals there to not call it spotless. "Ohh, yeah... Gee, history was super messed up. I can only wonder what Digimon history is like."
"Probably just as terrible if the cruelty of others is anything to judge." the Meicoomon snidely added in. Digimon were cruel... why would humans not be either?
Gloomy talk aside, Haru seemed very much interested in the idea of a banquet, especially it tied into a stage play. Haru's expression seemed to lighten up, she smiling. "That sounds lovely! I'd love to go it some time! Wouldn't you Tawna?"
The Meicoomon's ears seemed to droop slightly, squinting as they drifted their view off to the side. "... If there's food, maybe."
Haru just seemed to roll her eyes, smiling still. She glanced back at Mihia, eyeing his injuries somewhat. "So, uh... you gonna be okay? You and Ioana? I just don't want to like leave you guys without making sure you two are cool."

Katsura answered Mihai by making a sad facial expression to emphasize that not only was Haru getting her reference but she sincerely couldn't tell the difference between Empyrean Skies and a fascist regime. Katsura also turned to Haru when she commented on Nyao's idea of fighting Mihai. "Exactly, you don't go around hurting others it's not nice. That's why I tell Nyao not to antagonize others unless they have done something to me." Nyao made a sigh and pout over that conversation, she didn't like this direction but she couldn't get herself to call Katsura out on it either. Katsura then listened again to Haru and Tawna. "The digimon history is probably far better than the human history, all digimon are nice and friendly or at least they have a good reason for being like that." "Like hunger." Nyao intervened quickly only to get an exhausted sigh, this was a comeback Katsura was very tired of hearing by now. But on the other hand Katsura's preaching about how digimon was so much better than humans would probably raise a few eyebrows by now, knowing that at least Nyao was relatively grounded might help the matters a bit. Katsura briefly overheard Tawna commenting on food. "A banquet usually contains food"
Katsura and Nyao then waited for Mihai to answer Haru

At least the girls seemed to be getting along well. He really shouldn't worry about it too much. Rather he needed to teach Ioana not to say antagonizing things. She was very stubborn and vocal in general. While it didn't bother him as much since he knew how to handle her with strangers around she could make things awkward pretty fast.
"It's good to know they have a better history," Mihai said as Katsura mentioned them having a more peaceful history. He wished humans could be the same but then again he wouldn't know where he'd be if not for the military.
"Don't worry about us," Mihai said in response to Haru's worry. "We'll probably head back to the human world soon ourselves. Got to get bandaged before I get an infection." Speaking of infections he wondered if the digital world did have diseases. So far it all looked really healthy to him.
"My mouth isn't that dirty," Ioana said with a scoff.
"Debateable at times," Mihai said chuckling. She rolled her eyes in response. "You two should go enjoy yourselves. I'm glad you two met at least since it could lead to a friendship."

"Eye for an eye. A fair policy." Tawna solemnly spoke in regards to Katsura's own personal idealogy. It seemed completely justified in her eyes, but she at the same time doubted that Haru would care for such. The goggle-wearing girl while had a strong spirit, they were overly-gentle. Such a way of thinking could get them killed one day.
"I mean, within reason? I wouldn't want to like see someone's legs broke just because they did something small." Haru ended up kinda awkwardly commenting about it. It was nice to hear Nyao had Katsura's back, but she at the same time didn't want to see anyone get hurt unnecessarily. She did seem somewhat... skeptical about Digimon history being spotless. How nice that would been if true, but it seemed unlikely admittingly. Digimon were very much like humans, and while there were plenty of good people... there are plenty of bad ones still.
Tawna did seem to squint slightly at Katsura's high opinion of Digimon. Even their partner had to realize that this was obviously not the case... Digimon would have no need to fight if all was well in this world? Unfortunately, any thoughts she had prior were replaced with imagery of food. "We're in."
Haru did at least sigh in relief that Mihai seemed fine. That at least lifted a weight off her shoulders, allowing her to relax easier. "That's good then... I hope you guys can take it easy, and you know... not bang eachother up too hard next time?" she ended up smiling warmly at Mihai and Ioana, then back to Katsura and Nyao. "Regardless, guess that settles whether or not we'd go on our end! Is there a time we should think about?"

Shout-out to Dante the player of Piedmon
Katsura was raising her shoulders in a shrug at Haru's comment about not using eye for an eye politics on minor things. Nyao giggled a bit at the comment why this was funny was anyone's guess at this point. "What can I say, we care a lot about each other. But I almost never let her fight." "Or do anything fun." "Nyao, your kind of fun is not nice."
Katsura rolled her eyes while she said those things there was an atmosphere that implied this kind of things had happened before. Katsura then turned to Mihai with a matter of fact expression, Katsura was clearly trying to look smart despite that this aura was almost immediately shattered when Katsura's own partner poked at the flaws in her high opinion of digimon. Upon getting the hint that, at least Mihai, was heading to the human world soon Katsura took out her digidevice. "Umm sure, would you like me to make a portal to the human world?" Katsura then listened to Haru. "Piedmon often has stage plays I suppose."
