Plot Description: The power supply in Terminus City has been adversely affected by the opening up of Old Terminus in its underground. Brownouts have been common, disrupting the day-to-day operations of the city. The origin of the problem appears to be in the city's underground power plant, which appears to have been afflicted with some kind of anomaly. This anomaly appears to be spreading, making the brownouts worse and more common. The symptom is most likely the thing that has been spreading throughout the digital world - Corruption.
Mission Description: Your mission will be to accompany Datamon and his assistant Kokabuterimon into the depths of Old Terminus. The route to the Terminus City Power Supply has been twisted and altered by the data anomalies of Old Terminus, so the route will be perilous and full of things that have been lost to the history of the digital world.
Initial reconnaissance has identified that along the route is a strange abandoned facility that seemed intent on some kind of dangerous research into things unknown - full of recordings left behind by some kind of scientist that seemed rather flippant about health and safety. So be prepared for some dangerous "tests".
At the other end lies the power plant; which has most likely been afflicted by some kind of corruption. However, it is the intention of Datamon to investigate and possibly isolate the corruption himself.
Note that by reaching the end of the route but failing to deal with the corruption in its entirety will result in the "Failure" reward, and the chance to try again.
Objective Summary:
- Meet with Datamon and Kokabuterimon at the entrance of Old Terminus.
- Proceed through the ruins of Old Terminus and find the path to the power supply.
- Proceed through the abandoned research facility.
- Deal with the corruption at the Power Plant.
