Digimon Name: D.A.R.T. (Digital Autonomous Recon Tactician), or Dart for short.
Default Form: Rookie, or highest available depending on the situation
Gender: Male
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Skills/Talents: Incredibly well versed and skillful in anything regarding technology, from being able to fix and repair highly advance computer equipment, to make your toaster stop burning your bread. He's also good at coming up with strategies on the fly
Inventory: An old rusty medal, bent and twisted beyond recognicion.
Appearance (Holosuit):
FaceClaim: NieR Automata • adam • D.A.R.T. the Hagurumon
Personality: D.A.R.T. is…to put it mildly, a bit of an odd one.
For starters, he's incredibly proud of his intelligence, and will never waste a possible opportunity to brag about it and bring it up into conversations, much to the annoyance of everyone around him. Speaking of annoying, he has a tendency of not knowing when to stop taling, often times rambling more than necessary, especially when it comes to something he's passionate about. On that note, he seems to keep a rather optimistic and happy outlook on everything, even when its incredibly misplaced or innapropiate to do so.
He enjoys almost every kind of art, be it music, movies, books or what have you, though lord help whomever insults any work he's particularly fond of, as they might find themselves on the opposite end of a long winded, (most likely one sided argument) coming from him.
His intelligence and pride also mean he can be a bit arrogant, and has a rather low level of patience for dealing with more “uneducated” individuals than himself, though he'd be willing to help the offending party to learn and send them on the "right path" if they show enough drive and willingness to learn. His own thirst for knowledge tends to get the better of him, sending him into needlessly dangerous situations if it means learning something new.
Thanks to some small data corruption in his core happening sometime around his reforming he has developted a small number of (as he himself would put it) "quirks", most of which seem to manifest during high tension moments. For one he seems pretty prone to short bursts of mood swings, seemingly jumping from chipper optimism to deep seething anger only to swing back, all in the matter of a couple seconds.
Aditionally, if push comes to shove and he has to actually fight, an even odder side of him comes out, one that seemingly enjoys perhaps a bit too much the ensuing chaos, which is probably why he prefers to hang on the backline away from the fighting if possible, fearing what might happen if he loses control.
Personal History:
The life of the digimon known as Dart began actually an entire life cycle ago. So long ago very few bother remembering it.
The digimon known back then as D.A.R.T. (a nickname given to him by his superiors that eventually sort of stuck around) was a member of the 7/71st Recon Platoon, working with the best of the best. Back then he served as the group’s de facto tactician and engineer, both dealing with planning out the missions as efficiently as possible, always making sure to supervise them closely, always going above and beyond simply fulfilling the mission, but making sure everyone got back safe. Even under pressure, he shrugged the stress and fear off, laughing at the constant danger while reassuring his companions that he “worked better under pressure”.
Needless to say, it was only a matter of time before that way of talking would come back to bite him. No matter how well laid out a plan was, mistakes were always a possibility.
After a rather unfortunate string of mistakes (most of which were his own), D.A.R.T. found himself in the difficult choice of cutting his loses and retreating, while leaving the rest to die. In a desperate attempt from keeping yet another soldier from falling, he finally broke under pressure said, abandoning his post and vainly rushing out trying to save his platoon. In the end, however, one by one the rest of the 7/71st found themselves overwhelmed, Dart included.
Despite his best efforts, he wasn’t able to save neither his teammates, nor himself from their demise, and both the tactician as the rest of the team was wiped of the face of the world that day…
…but that, surprisingly, was not the end of Dart, as some of his data managed to survive the carnage and eventually found its way back to the Village of Begginings, slowly but surely being reborn once again. Unfortunately, the damage both his data and core sustained during that fight would prove to be too severe for even the Digimon lifecycle to heal, and as such he was reborn, whole but not quite whole, a few missing pieces forever lost to the sands of time, leaving the once calm, simple but friendly digimon now an absentminded, rambling shell of his old self, the memories from his past now scattered and broken, incomplete.
Eventually he would grow enough to leave the Village on his own, after which he began to wander the Digital World, looking to learn more about himself and the few memories he still retained, his only possesion an old, battered medal, its inscription almost unreadable except for four letters.
D.A.R.T.
After a time of aimless drifting he soon found his way to the town of Rustport, where he set up shop as a repairman, making the best use of what little intact memories he still had.

Fighting Style: Can fly around erratically and make himself a harder target to reach, but his combat skills are still mostly non existant.
Abilities:
Maddening Whine: Slightly increases his flying speed for a moment, allowing him to dodge attacks slightly better.
Flare: Shoots out a small ember from his back engine. Does minimal damage, a match is still more practical way of lighting a fire.

Species: Hagurumon
Appearance:
Attribute: Virus
Family/ies: Metal Empire
Type: Machine
Fighting Style: As he sorely lacks in the close quarters department, Dart prefers to stay as far as possible from the enemy, if possible letting his allies take the heat off him while he offers cover fire and supporting skills from a distance.
Abilities:
Reverse Polarity: Sends out a small gravity ball torwads the enemy. If it hits it causes medium damage (slightly more if they were airborne when hit), and prevents flying digimon of the same level or lower from taking flight for one post. Three posts cooldown
Arc System: Spins his gears rapidly, generating a small electrical current that can be released as a thin, long ranged (13 feet) ligthning bolt. Causes medium damage. Two posts cooldown.
Gravity Shift: Sends out a small anti gravity bubble, slightly lowering the weight of the target, increasing their speed by 15% for two posts. Due to vast difference in the amount of mass and data of higher level targets, it only works on same level digimon or below. Three posts cooldown.
Tazer: Releases a small, short ranged electrical explosion from his smaller gears, causing medium damage and immobilizing the enemy for one post. Two posts cooldown.
Digivolves From: Missimon
Digivolves To: Guardromon
Champion
Species: Guardromon
Appearance:
Attribute: Virus
Family/ies: Metal Empire
Type: Machine
Fighting Style: While still stays true to his Hagurumon roots of preffering to keep a distance, Dart's Guardromon form also allows him to get more into the thick of things, supporting his allies from a closer range while having some respectable damage of his own.
Abilities: [6 Abilities Max]
Blast Shielding (passive): While his larger body makes him a slower and larger target than his previous forms, his metallic form gives him a boost to defense of 20%.
Polarity Shift: Launches a small single target grenade at an enemy. The resulting explosion causes medium damage and increases the weight of the target slightly, slowing down their movements by 20% for two posts. Two posts cooldown.
Safe Zone: Deploys a small blue energy field on the area surrounding him (7 ft). Every ally within the area gets a 20% bonus to their healing, up to a maximun of four allies can benefit from the Zone's benefits at the same time. Lasts for two posts as long as Dart doesn't abandon the field. Three posts cooldown.
Ripper Missile: Shoots out a small red missile from his arm. The ensuing blast causes medium damage and causes the affected target's defense to lower by 20% for two posts. Three posts cooldown.
Riot Breaker: With a wave of his arm summons a large energy shield, big enough to completely shield him (and any allies standing right behind him) from attacks from the front. The shield can stop up to two champion level attacks before breaking, after which it will go on three posts cooldown to be recharged. Additionally, it can also be used to bash the enemy, knocking them back and dealing medium damage, though this will strain the shield as much as if it had stopped an attack.
The Claw: With a quick punching motion Dart can launch his hand out a relatively long distance (35 feet), and attempts to grab onto the desired friend or foe. After having a good grip of its intended target, Dart's inner arm magnet will activate, quickly dragging back both hand and target to his location. The hand itself causes minimal damage once it grabs onto its target, but this skill allows for creative uses such as displacing enemies or bringing back allies out of position. Three posts cooldown.
