OOC: This will be the combination of MPC 52A and 52B - A Fairy Tale and Paradigm Shift. At the end, I would like bits please.
Once upon a time, in a faraway land to the East, there was a young Prince that lived in a shining castle. Heir to the throne of a grand Kingdom of Beasts, Prince Ravi the Coronamon was on the verge of having everything his heart desired. After the expected abdication of his ageing father King Lantis, he would have it all. Power, wealth, fame and charisma. However, years of being the smothered promised only child ended up making him spoiled, selfish and unkind.
One night, under a withering storm, the Prince received a visitor - an ugly old Babamon, who offered nothing but a single rose in exchange for shelter. Repulsed by her unsightly appearance, the Prince turned her away. However, the Babamon then transformed and revealed her true form - a beautiful Rosemon that claimed the prince was wrong to judge character on one's appearance, and as punishment for his ways, she laid a terrible curse on him and the rest of his castle.
Prince Ravi was transformed into a terrifying Flaremon - a whispering virus slowly taking over his body. The Rosemon claimed that if only he could learn to love and recant his ways before his 21st birthday, then the spell would be lifted. If not, the virus would take full hold, and transform him further into a twisted feral beast forever - never able to obtain what he sought.
At least, that was how the legends go.
In the present day, in the beautiful village of Rosewood, the sun was rising in the east, the skies painted a picturesque bluish-pink, only light clouds dusting the horizon. The cool morning breezes swept across the meadows, the leaves rustling in the canopies above.
There to meet the sunrise, dressed in just a blue tunic with white sleeves and a bowtie, carrying a book in a basket was a young Impmon. And he felt so wonderful this morning, he just had to share it with the world.
"Little town, such a quiet village~" he sang. "Every day, like the one before~ Little town, full of little digis~ Waking up to say~"
"Bonjour!" called a Patamon.
"Bonjour!" chirped a Biyomon.
"Bonjour!" barked a Labramon.
"Hello!" waved a Kamemon.
"Bonjour!" cried a Falcomon.
"There goes a Palmon with her tray like always, The same old farm-grown meat to sell~ Every morning just the same, since the morning that we came, to this small provincial town-"
"Stop singing, Bells" said a new voice. Bells turned with surprise to see the other solo digimon companion that he lived with - an Elecmon by the name of Luke. The two had moved here a while ago, and were regarded by many in the village as slightly strange. Namely Luke's tendency to make crazy inventions, and Bells' tendency to... randomly sing.
"Oh..." Bells said, blinking as the music came to an abrupt stop with a record scratch. "We're... not doin' the musical bits now?"
"Best not" Luke said. "Honestly, Bells, the way you sing like a disney princess every other day, the people here are starting to think you're crazier than me"
"Okay, Luke, yeesh..." Bells said, rolling his eyes, but either way, stopped singing for the time being as he proceeded to the village library.

OOC: I'll be finishing this MPC by myself now.
As Bellamy went off to the library, he was not far from two other individuals. One was a small skinny Dracmon, and the other was a tall dashing Dinohumon, dressed in a red tunic. The Dracmon was dragging a large sack full of eggs behind them, clearly struggling.
"Geez, boss!" the Dracmon said, clearly in awe at his companion. "There's at least 20 in here! You must be the best bounty hunter in the digital world!"
"That I am, Ledeuce" Dinohumon said loftily, giving a pat to the giant sword he wore on his back. "Those marks' days were numbered the moment I set my eyes on their bounties, and now, well, I guess they can now count their days backward".
After a moment of French laughter from LeDeuce, Dinohumon glanced over to the library, where an Impmon seemed to be entering it. He scratched his chin. "Something about that Impmon seems familiar..." he said.
"That's an Impmon?" Ledeuce asked, holding his hand-eyes up to see. "Huh, thought he was some kinda cat thingy, all that fur..."
"Indeed, no other Impmon is that fluffy" Dinohumon stated. "That must be Bells, the newcomer to town. An odd one if ever there was one... mainly for his tendency to randomly sing musical numbers at the slightest provocation".
"Heh, he's also kinda cute" Ledeuce added. "So, what're you gonna do with him, boss?"
"I'll... investigate for the time being, Ledeuce" Dinohumon said. "But for the moment let's cash in these eggs and hold a large banquet in the tavern, hm? This talk of singing makes me want to strike up a large musical number to stroke my ego".
"Sure thing, boss!" said LeDeuce, and they proceeded to wherever it was bounty hunters went or something.

Later that day, Bellamy returned home with a new filthy magazine book from the Library. Gosh how he enjoyed reading all about handsome digimon going on great adventures to overcome the evil and wicked and return to possibly hold hands with their loves. It made him wonder if one day the same would happen to him?
Well, those thoughts were quickly dispelled by a sudden explosion coming up from the basement. Bellamy rushed down immediately. "Luke, what was that?!" he asked, then immediately saw that the Elecmon was slowly sliding down one of the walls, a strange purring machine in the middle of the room. Surprisingly, there was a broad grin on his face.
"Bells, it works!" he said.
"What works?" Bellamy asked, blinking at the machine. "The heck is that thing? An Elecmon Cannon or somethin'? Why would ya invent something like that?"
"No, no, the explosion was just the ignition" Luke explained, standing up and dusting his fur. "Don't you see? This thing here is a combustion engine! This could revolutionize the entire industrial age!"
"Heyy, that sounds pretty neat!" said Bellamy. "Even though as digimon we already can kinda grow our own engines and cannons and shit like that" he clapped his housemate on the shoulder. "So then! Now that you've invented somethin', what are ya gonna do?"
"I'll take it to the Rosewood Fair right away!" Luke said, brightly. "That seems to be the most logical thing to do once someone invents revolutionary technology!"
"Alright, perfect!" Bellamy grinned. "Can I go with you?"
"Oh, no, I need someone to stay behind and do the housework" Luke said. "Besides, travelling alone through the forest sounds like a perfectly reasonable thing to do, don't you think?"
"Okay then, well, good luck, Luke" Bellamy said, giving him a quick hug, then before long, Luke was on his way, pulling the engine along in a cart.
"...Oh man, I should've brought a map" Luke muttered to himself three hours later. There was a sudden boom of thunder from above too. "...or paid attention to a weather forecast" he added, a heavy downpour quickly soaking him through. Lost in the woods in a thunderstorm, Luke quickly rushed to find shelter. The trees were tangled and foreboding, the sky filled with forked lightning. He had to get out of here quick!
Then, he saw it. Silhouetted by a thunderbolt, a great big castle appeared in front of him.
"Whoa, funny nobody around noticed that before" he said, then rushed toward it. Monstrous stone gargoyles were visible on the parapets above, but, all Luke could care about was the tall wooden doors in front of him. He crossed the drawbridge, engine still in tow, then knocked on the door. To his surprise, it opened on its own accord, but, nobody was there inside.
"Hello?" he called as he entered the entrance hall. It was rather draughty and cold, but, at the least dry. He shook the rain from his fur and took further steps inside. "Anyone here?!"
Luke thought he heard whispering from behind him. But... nobody was there. Nothing except a small lit candle and a clock. "Who was that?!" he asked, starting to get scared. "I'm... sorry to intrude, but, I just need a place to shelter if that's alright...! Just... it's storming outside and..."
"But of course you can!" a cheerful voice said from behind him.
"No, be quiet!" another voice snapped. Luke turned and to his shock, the candlestick and clock seemed to be talking!
"AAHH!!" Luke yelped, falling back at the spectacle, but, his curiosity as an inventor soon took hold. "Incredible..."
"Now listen, the master has strictly forbidden any intruders!" the clock snapped.
"Oh Colin, you might have forgotten your manners after all zis time, but I certainly 'ave not" the candle said. "'Allo, Monseur Elecmon, I am Marshaliere your 'umble serviteur, and zis is Colin. Please, warm yourself by ze fire~"
"Oh, gosh, thank you..." Luke beamed. Not long after he was led into a side chamber, the clock muttering all the while, they were quickly joined by a speeding tea tray with teapot and cup upon it.
"Yo what up homeslice?" the teapot said. "Wanna spot of tea?"
"Careful, don't make it too hot" the cup complained. "You always make it too hot, Gaz"
"That's because it's TEA, Finn!" the pot snapped. "Anyway, no worries! Drink up~"
Gosh, it seemed almost every object in this room was animated somehow. And named too. Truly fascinating. Luke would have a field day figuring out how exactly this worked. Before Luke could do so though, they were interrupted by a ferocious roar from behind them. Luke almost dropped "Finn" but the animated cup bounced back on the tray, shivering in fear.
"What are you doing here?!" a voice rumbled. "You're not welcome! How did you get in?!"
"I'm s-sorry" Luke shivered, falling off the chair as he leaned back from the beast in fear. "I... needed shelter... and... I thought..."
"Why are you looking at me like that?!" the beast snarled. "Do I scare you that much?! Is my form too repulsive and terrifying for you?!"
"N-no..." Luke lied. In the light of the fire, he saw that this beast was a monstrous, grizzled Flaremon, with teeth as long as his ears, towering over three times his own height. "I... needed somewhere to stay!"
"Very well, I'll give you a place to stay!" the Flaremon snarled, and lifted Luke clean off his feet by the scruff of his neck. "You can stay there FOREVER!"
"No! Please!" Luke wailed, but it was no use. The terrified serving staff could only watch in horror.
"We can't let him do this..." Marshaliere spoke to the others. "The spell... it won't be broken if he acts like this. Do you agree, Colin?"
Colin hesitated, then sighed. "Very well..." he said, giving a nod that made his internal clockworks rattle.

Bellamy was getting a little worried about Luke three days later. He was pretty sure that the fair in Rosewood would be over now. And even though when he was alone at home he could sing to the animals and read his... "books" all he wanted, well, he cared about Luke.
"Hm, I should go find him" he said. And soon the Impmon set out for Rosewood. By a sheer coincidence, the same events that happened to Luke also happened to him. And before long he had also stumbled across that large castle in the woods, and before long knocked on the door.
This time he was immediately met by a talking clock and candlestick. Bellamy blinked down at them.
"Well that's the 3rd weirdest thing I've seen this week" he remarked.
"Are you zee one called Bells?" the Candlestick asked.
"Yeah, I am. Is Luke around?" Bellamy asked.
"Yes, zis way, 'urry!" the Candlestick said, and he and the clock led Bellamy downstairs through the cavernous castle to the dungeons. There in one of the cells, he saw a shivering, frightened red and white Elecmon.
"Oh god, Luke!" Bellamy yelped, running up to him. "Who did this to you?! Why are you in there?! ...Did your invention kill someone again?"
"N-no!" Luke said, weakly. "Bells, you have to get out of here! Before..." his blue eyes widened in horror. "Oh no... it's too late, he's here!"
Bellamy turned around, immediately seeing a huge muscular beast standing behind him. Luke, the candlestick and clock shivered in terror, but instead Bellamy gave a long, impressed whistle.
"Dayam! You, sir, are PACKED!"
"W-what is this?" the beast asked, clearly off balance by Bellamy's reaction. "Aren't you scared? Or disgusted like the others?"
"By you, hotstuff? Nah, why would I be?" Bellamy said, immediately playing it cool, leaning against the wall, tail flicking friskily.
"H-hotstuff?" Flaremon asked, immediately blushing. "I... don't understand. You're... attracted to me?"
"Bells, he's the one that imprisoned me!" Luke felt the need to point out.
"Yeah I'm workin' on that, just hold on" the Impmon muttered, then turned back to Flaremon. "Why does that surprise you?" Bellamy asked, slinking forward. "Fine built guy like you"
"But... I was cursed to look all grizzled and monstrous so that all would fear to behold me!" Flaremon said. "And the only way to break it is-"
"To prove ya can learn to love, yeah yeah, no worries about that, hotstuff, I've read all about it in here" Bellamy held up the questionable book he had been reading. "Well, this version is a bit more hardcore, but, lemme guess, a kiss from the Impster is all ya need to break the curse eh?"
"W-well..." Flaremon began. "I guess we could try?"
With that said, Bellamy proceeded to jump up and give him a nice big Bugs Bunny style kiss, and all at once, the spell was broken! All the inhabitants of the castle returned to normal, and the Flaremon transformed into a cute Coronamon around Bellamy's size.
"And that's that, baby!" Bellamy said, grinning. "So, wanna let Luke out?"
"Oh... right, of course" Coronamon said, and promptly released the Elecmon.
"Now then, I got a cute boyfriend with a pimpin' big castle!" Bellamy declared. "Let's go upstairs and celebrate, babe!"
Coronamon didn't resist as Bellamy pulled him up, leaving behind an incredulous Luke, and equally incredulous now-human Colin, and a rather disappointed now-human Marshal.
"Aw, I didn't get the chance to do a big musical number in the banquet hall" he complained.
"Well... guess this is the bit where we all live happily ever after" Colin added. "So, uh, what did we learn from all this? The moral of the story?"
"It's good to have a horny brother that's into bara?" Luke suggested. Oh well. That was all said and done and there was much rejoicing as well as cake.
