"Damn it, bug OFF already!" Savage's fangs grit as, once more, the impact of 'Life Force' flowed through her wounded frame. More than just a minute ago, the fox found herself trying to catch her breath, her stamina quickly running more and more ragged, even simply trying to stay as flighty as she was. However, it seemed her 'golden opportunity' finally came: with Dread finally down, Denryu simply whispered another order, as the fox's ear twitched at Kan's words.
"A child, huh? You would say the same to anyone with a Digivice?" She gave a 'tsk'. "That's not what that means - even that one desperately cowering in the corner understands it better than you. To hold a Digivice is to hold the very power that can change the world - and they exist because they're meant to drive our purpose."
She growled - and seeing that tail try to whip out at her, the fox peeled off a few feet to the side - outside of the range of that much slower attack - and once more moved to dive right for the L'mon's chest. This time, that tight green aura was built up in her palm - that of another Phantom Blast.
"How dare you talk down to us?!"
Her emotions might have been showing, but her movement still remained efficient - with this, she hoped to start hammering the nails in the coffin on this fight! But, even in his 'weakened' form, the fox was forced to keep her attention forward. Whatever Bibi had planned, it wasn't as if the fox had the ability to be in two places at once!
Log:
From her floating position, Savage cuts her altitude to duck under the swinging tail, and uses the momentum to carry forward, attempting to slam into Kan's chest with a 'Phantom Blast'.
Life Force hits home!

The spirit user swayed a little bit as he watched savage take another life force. The frustration behind everything was slowly piling on as Dread ran out; which of course made it hard to really do much. Really made it hard to talk and hard to think too. His body forcing itself to move in response to it's owner's wishes.
On one half he was still standing and on the other all he could really manage was a shake of the head when the other said. He had thousands of things he could say to that. But none of them seemed like they were going to even remotely hit home.
Why is it everyone tries to instill change with these things... don't they know that's...
The sluggish nature of the after affects of Dread made his tail slap easily readable. The follow through of course was speedy as ever; the renamon dived right for his chest and just as that phantom blast was let loose the monster let out a harsh reply.
"Because not everyone can live with their mistakes."
Along with it his tentacles straightened and stabbed forward just as the phantom blast landed home. He felt the ebb and flow of his power throughout his frame and the large super mega was blasted off of his feet crashing down into what amounted the stands of the circus. He felt the tug of his data and the warping of his body followed suit.
After a few long moments of a lifeless form sitting there; the large demon let out a soft but somewhat childish gasp of pain before the steam cut out abruptly. The form regressed and left sitting in the broken ruins of the wood and debris was just a man. His red hair was a mess and his eyes seemed to flicker between what should be, and L-mon's unnatural molten eyes. His dress was that of a traveler in the digital world; obviously well prepared for whatever came his way but apparently not well prepared enough.
Sluggishly did the man try to push himself up and after a moment he'd cough into his arm finding that he had pushed himself far too hard and would be forced to watch. But the bloody patch of cloth that came away from his mouth was somewhat frustrating to note.
The worst part about all of this was that he could feel the edges of bliss start to try to take him again. This wasn't something he wanted in the slightest.
"Tch... Not... enough... to even stop... eh..."
Battle-Log: -Kan attempted one last Eldritch tear against Savage before Phantom blast knocks him out of L-mon. -Kan is barely conscious at the edge of the 'arena'
Attack used Eldritch Tear: Forming a weapon out of his tentacles, or simply by lashing out at a target within reach. [Reach treated as though huge size creature, 30 feet.] This attack deals a high amount of damage but requires line of sight. This attack does not have a cool down.

Bibi was ready for the fight to commence with her in target. With the energy boost she got from Renamon again, she took to the skies above Renamon and got ready to make it rain. "Star-Light Explosion!" She started making it rain explosive grains upon Renamon. She was strong enough to bring a fight again and that's what she needed. She just needed to make every play count. That mean't holding Renamon back for as long as possible. She just needed to push herself and use her energy wisely. Using attacks that would encompass the area around the weakened Renamon to hopefully keep it locked in taking more damage was one of such ways. As soon as she was done firing through, she prepared for the counter attack, flying off and starting to go around the loop.
Timothy knew what he could do now. He just saw L-Mon fly into some stands and revert back to his human state. He could help there. He might not be able to help Bibi right now, but he can at least help his allies. With that, he booked it from his safe spot to L-Mon's location. Once he arrived, he climbed over the stands to help the human up, wait, isn't that the mechanic that helped with his bike!? "Hey uhh... Sir, you okay? You need any kind of help?"
Bibi, with all the energy she's stolen, is finally taking flight again and unleashing a Star-Light Explosion from above Renamon, then taking off in a circle in preparation for a counter-attack.
Star-Light Explosion: Flaps four wings, causing it to rain explosive golden grains.
Timothy runs over to help Kan and make sure he is okay.

"Gah!" If nothing else, that was an opportune time for a counter: even weakened, Kan's attack managed to push heavily into Savage's left arm - raised to defend - even as that Phantom Blast sent the L-Mon careening into the stands. The fox cursed under her breath, her left arm feeling limp, like a heavy weight hanging from her shoulder.
Still, that was at least one 'problem' taken care of. She simply didn't have any words to spare at this point: her attention was drawn towards the mega. Bibi used her time well, taking her opportunity to take a clear height advantage, the 'Star Light Explosion' raining heavily down onto the battlefield. Her right claw sparked briefly, before Savage swore under her breath once more. Rather than take the brunt of such a powerful attack again, the Xros'd Digimon took cover behind the pole of one of the few remaining platforms, quickly hearing it crack and 'hiss' above her. "Freaking bird... just need one good shot..."
But, for the moment, it seemed that Savage was on the defensive - was she just trying to catch her breath, or was that red light from a misfire?
It wouldn't just be Timothy joining Kan in the stands: soon, the general himself would take to those seats, a good few yards to the pair's left. His expression remained unreadable as ever - still hidden underneath the theater mask - but the tone in his voice was definitely a bit more tired:
"Well, I would have hoped to talk this through a bit more before this broke out into a fight, but here's the reality of it." He gave a sigh: "Even if your partner still manages to beat Savage, just what kind of condition are you two going to be in to see what's further on in?"
In a way, the general might have had a point - and his tone didn't suggest he was trying to trick them, or even hurt them at this point. "So I'll hold that invitation to 'talk' open again."
LogSavage is struck by ElDritch Tear. Raider's Storm, requiring the use of both arms, misfires! Savage takes cover to try and mitigate the damage from Star-Light Explosion!

So this is what he got to do now; the shopkeeper sighed a little bit and sat up slowly. Grunting in pain as his ribs decided they weren't terribly happy with his decision. He kept forgetting that some of the worst pains that came from a spirit is that if they got too damaged it might transfer over along with some of the data.
Headache and having trouble seeing tch...
The molten eyes weren't going away, he could feel the twitch of his spirit filling in in the places that he had taken the worst amount of damage. It was something he had happen only once before but it was so minor most didn't even notice it and eventually he had for the most part forgotten.
When timothy approached him he'd wave them off; though he was immediately wracked with a coughing fit that brought a good bit of blood to his sleeve again.
"Tch... Don't suppose you have some Tylenol?"
It was more a joke than anything he wasn't really expecting Timothy to either get it or find it amusing. But upon the arrival of the General in the stands the man would take a seat more comfortably on a very much not broken portion of the stands. Those molten eyes flicking to look at him when he spoke.
"So there's even more huh? Should of figured. Would of been nice to have a small chat rather than having to be on the broadsided of whatever the hell she used on me."
The man shook his head slowly and rubbed his neck; even if the general had the resources to hurt them here or do something that would lead into that well.. There wasn't much that they could do to stop him he figured.
"So lets talk then."
The man grimaced and looked down at his sleeve; shaking his head a little bit. He'd be probably feeling this for a couple weeks if he was lucky...

Welp, now it was definitely down to Bibi to win this battle. She had the advantage of the high ground right now, but she needed a way to win this. She couldn't get hit directly, or she'd just go down. That meant she needed a way to blind Renamon, or a way to just keep her stuck in that location struggling to hit her. She watched an attack go wide and miss her, good, though that wouldn't happen every time. She had two ideas she could do: A. She flies in and takes out the centrol pole in hopes of sending the entire tent down. B. She fires a breath of fire directly at the base of the pole Renamon was hiding behind and forcing her to keep moving or get burnt badly. Neither was particularly smart to do to win, but she'd rather have flying room than the possibility of a collapsing tent.
She then made her move, but then realized plan C was her best bet, even better, she was in an ideal place to strike. "Fire Hurricane!" She summoned forth a massive tornado of fire that would pursue renamon and hopefully encompass her soon and trap her within. She continued at her normal trajectory, but the tornado went backwards, moving in on Renamon from behind.
Timothy chuckled a little to the shop owner. "Heh, if I had any, I'd give some." He helped the man sit down in a more comfortable seat, then turned to listen to the General. So he was still down for talking even throughout this battle. Unlucky for him Timothy was more determined to find out what gain they were expecting to get from this. "Why would you people even think this is a good idea? If you've already removed it, there could be another D-Reaper disaster right outside this fortress and we'll all be too exhausted to stop it." His expression had gone from a panicked rage to now being a lot calmer, but the seriousness in his voice from before never left.
Bibi activated Fire Hurricane to being a sort of pincer maneuver on Renamon.

"The plan wasn't to have anyone show up at all. The S.O.S. from the Dark Spire threw things just a bit off track." The General's answer was level enough, but it seemed like a simple talk wasn't in the works - not quite yet. Timothy still had to focus on keeping Bibi's power up, and the masked man still had to give direction to Savage...
... Direction that likely saved her hide, at this point. Pulling away from her cover as it splintered away, the fox gave a growl under her breath, keeping her eyes on the Haoumon. The vortex of fire was hard to miss, but its trajectory proved somewhat problematic to track at this angle. However, her tamer already had that handled:
'Arcing to her left, to approach from behind'.
Knowing that, Savage knew that all she needed to do was cut the distance: once more, a black aura surrounded her wings, and this time, the technique worked as intended! She shot up, hoping to overtake Bibi's height advantage - quite possible, if she was trying to focus on the tornado - and if she did, Savage would cut her altitude, those same black wings appearing on each end of her metal wing. This time, Savage wasn't going to leave room for error: with one claw held forward, the winged beast would vault forward, aiming to ram that claw against the enemy mega's chest. If she dodged left or right, Bibi would find herself in range of one of the bladed wings!
To this, the general gave a sigh, drumming back the questions that Kan asked earlier: "'Why risk this', right?" He mulled over the thought: "Because its the only chance we have to try something like this. Luminas won't take the risks necessary to try and solve this problem, only gloss over it. If things are left as they are, what will happen when someone inevitably shatters a statue for good?"

Savage uses Demonic Gale to gain altitude, and attempt a direct attack on Bibi!

The man sighed a little bit; feeling his chest grate at him irritably for doing so. At the very least he was alive and not having his insides re-arranged by the renamon at this point. He knew that if they lost outright here there was an odd chance at having that happen so he'd probably relish the few moments that followed.
Timothy's statement and question were pretty in line with what had happened thus far; but kan couldn't help but shake his head. Honestly if they had talked about this from the get go it would of been nicer and he figured they could of come to some kind of accord.
"The problem with plans is that they often enough have wrenches thrown into them."
Kan rubbed his neck and stared at the fight as it continued. He was really hoping that if they lost that there wouldn't be trouble and if they won that they'd be able to continue forward. Even if they did win though they both were in kind of a bad way after all.
"Why does everyone always try to work with Luminas? You know there's two or three other major cities that you can work with right?"
The man sounded a little exasperated and shook his head; he was looking worse for wear but at least he wasn't coughing at this point.
"Probably the same thing that happened elsewhere. But that still doesn't change the fact that you're taking a statue out of play. If this is your only chance to take a risk like this doesn't that mean it's sort of a poor choice?"

Bibi's initial plan didn't seem to work, but well... It lead into a new one she was going to strike with. Renamon came out in an open attack, blocking her flanks... But not her rear... The fire continued to chase Renamon as she was going in to strike. Bibi stopped herself midair and flapped in reverse, pushing herself away from the Super Mega. "Feather Tornado!" As she flapped away from Renamon, a large blast of feathers erupted forward, directly at Renamon, hopefully blocking away the attack from striking her either. She pulled away now and began to fly in the center, everything hurt, but she just had to bear with it for a little longer and that Renamon would realize the mistake it made in letting her drain it.
"Literally everything my friend said here is exactly what I know is the case. These are powers you just don't experiment with, no matter how much you think you might be right, in the end, you're going to cause a second disaster only shortly after the last one. That just can't happen, not with many of us still recovering from the first one. It shouldn't ever happen again." He thought back to Falou again for a moment, clenching his fists, "Instead of trying to experiment with the cause of the problem, search for ways to prevent it from happening again."
Bibi retreats backwards and uses Feather Tornado directly at Renamon while the Fire Huricane approaches from behind.
Feather tornado (1/2): Calls forth a tornado of feathers.
Fire Hurricane (2/2): Creates a massive Tornado of Fire.

Just how much had the Haoumon managed to steal away from her? Less than a minute ago, Bibi was nothing more than a huddled pile of feathers, but now she was agile enough to exert that much immediate effort with her wings? Giving a 'tsk', feeling her claw fall just short, Savage was forced to raise a wing in defense. Her right flank - and largely the steel wing - somewhat shielded her from the onslaught of 'Feather Tornado', though the fox had to do something before this shared 'gale' took away her sense of flight.
So she forced it. Seeing Bibi fly out towards the center, the Renamon pushed and forced her way through, a number of feathers sticking into her flank! Really feeling the hurt there, the Xros'd Digimon held her right hand off to her side. Once more - and perhaps for the last time, in this fight - she hurled a seed pod, a 'Diamond Grenade' glowing and peeling open, also near the center of the tent! She wanted to take Bibi out in this powerful rain of shrapnel!
"What plan doesn't? Here, you need to sit up a little better." At this point, the General's tone shifted just a touch - mostly on seeing the blood that stained Kan's lips. He'd reach forward, and if Kan took the offer, he'd help him sit better up in that seat, to better let the blood drain and air filter. "Unfortunately, its how this world works: Terminus deals with human relations, Whitewater deals with the 'commonplace' of the Digital World, and Luminas deals with the surreal. As a whole, the system isn't entirely worthless - but with the wrong people at the helm, its easy to exploit."
That wasn't the end of it, though: Timothy's objection once more rang into his ears, and to his tone, the General gave a sigh, shaking his head. "The statue in the Dark Area broke, of its own accord, with no outside influence but the environment. The result was a catastrophe that permanently changed the entire region. If the mere stress of the world can break one... then are we simply supposed to allow the status quo to continue?"
He let that point hang in the air for a moment. "This is the least populous area in the Digital World - a prime place to hold a high-risk experiment like this. Luminas doesn't know we're here, nor does that 'unknown force' that was in Snowpoint. This is our perfect and only chance to understand these statues to the fullest... and, hopefully..."
Hopefully...
"Create our own."

Kan sighed a little bit; his question made sense. What plan didn't have risks and weren't worth them? Well the worst off sort of plans that's what. The man frowned but he didn't turn down the help; of course shifting in his seat also caused him to cough a little bit. His chest flaring up in pain as he could also feel his spirit trying to help him out in the worst way possible.
The molten eyes flickered and twisted in pain for a moment before looking over at the General. His frown deepened as they spoke of the civilizations. Talking about how with the wrong people at the helm that it'd be easy to exploit this plan. He could feel the ache and he could feel the truth in what the other said.
"Tch. I suppose. So rather than have the wrong people at the helm you just decided to run it yourself?"
His tone was soft; not really judging and it seemed as though Kan understood where they were coming from. It was that same line of thinking however that a certain someone seemed to use back when they were going to attack one of the very civilizations that they spoke of.
"It broke of strain from the environment? Does that mean that they're hitting their limit? That's bad if that's the case. Especially if people start looking for others to plant the blame on. No. You can't just let it go on, but I suppose any real reason I could come up with to work with a larger group could easily be pushed off so I won't bother with it."
The man shook his head slowly; he wasn't wrong that this was one of the least popular areas in the digital world. If something went wrong here there wouldn't be as much of a problem but that also meant it'd be harder to contain with how wide of an open area this was.
The molten eyes widened and the man shifted slightly; though this slight shift was enough to cause him to start coughing again. Smearing the blood on his sleeve with a grunt he'd glare at the general.
"That's some dangerous thinking there, but it all adds up one way or another. So what's the steps from here? You've sequestered the thing holding this stuff back in order to study it. So you've got to study it on a limited time crunch; you have all the equipment you need? All the personnel? What else do you need?"
The man glanced at timothy for a moment and scowled after a few long moments.
"We shouldn't be fighting right now damnit, if things go south how are we going to be able to cope with it?"
Gritting his teeth the man shakily tried to stand, though it didn't work and he was just back int he seat wracked by another set of coughs. Grunting in pain he'd glare right back at the general.
"So lets say I believe you. What now? How do I help? How do we Help?"
He'd glance at Timothy, a mix of pleading and sternness in his eyes. This fight most certainly was going to establish a few things but now that the spirit user was sidelined he needed to get somewhere with this even if it meant they needed to dip their heads in understanding for just a small period.

Hopefully her tornadoes were putting in work for her because she didn't have any tricks to stop this next attack. She watched as the little pod came towards her vicinity. The best cover she could get was one of the poles, only problem with that was that they wouldn't cover much or her, or really protect her too much. She didn't have any sort of shield to save her from this either, so well... All she could do was fight. She's straining herself a lot as is, and well... She might be able to at least turn this into a draw, if she can hold her form. She snapped towards Renamon and towards the grenade, "Starlight Explosion!"
From where she was, she unleashed one last shower of little grains aimed in the general area of Renamon. Her feather tornado was coming right at Renamon and that was all she had left. When the grenade went off, all the was seen after that was a crashing Hououmon devolving back to a Biyomon. Bibi was definitely not doing too well, she was exhausted, beaten to a terrifying extent, and unable to move from her prone position in the circus. She was pretty much done for now. She was running on the power taken from Renamon and fumes for the past minute.
Timothy was about to counter again, but well... His partner was on the floor now, completely exhausted and that took priority over the General's crap about why this was justified. He got up and ran over to Bibi, checking on her condition first and foremost. He went to lift up Bibi and take her back to the stands where it is safe-ish. Well... They lost, he's just glad he hasn't lost his other partner, as tired as she is.
Bibi's last ditch effort is a Starlight Explosion, basically all aimed at taking Renamon with her, mixed in with the feather tornado relentlessly chasing Renamon. She has reverted back to a Biyomon and is down.
Starlight Explosion: Flaps her four wings, causing it to rain explosive golden grains in an area.
Feather Tornado (2/2): Calls forth a tornado of feathers.

"Why you- tch!"
Already having to try and thread the needle between two tornadoes, the fox didn't have much room to maneuver around Bibi's counter. In all, Savage's effort was admirable - but fighting at a deficit against both a Super Mega and a Mega definitely took its toll! Crossing her arms in front as that last 'Starlight' explosion rained down, the fox, similarly, found herself blasted down to the floor of the arena.
Her condition wasn't as out of it as Bibi's, though seeing a Xros'd Digimon take so much damage at once might have been a first for either of them. As the smoke cleared, the Renamon - the rookie, yellow fox - slowly sat up, with a Kokuwamon and BladeKuwagamon knocked out on her side. The Devidramon stood behind, before falling to a knee, both claws resting prone to the floor, and the Bakemon lazily floated behind. "Ugh..." The Renamon groaned, Denryu simply giving a signal for the rest of the group to 'take five'.
"Call that a 'draw', then." Lifting up his Xros Loader, all five of the Digimon took the shape of a glowing ball - similar to a core - before returning to the device, the same number of chips appearing slotted around the side. Clicking his Digivice to run the 'Clinic Program' - and offering a small USB to Timothy if he needed the same for Bibi - he returned his attention to Kan.
"I appreciate your concern at this point, but all you can really do now is remain in this room. I mean, you three can leave if you want, but you're much safer recovering in this space than outside." He held up a cell phone in his other hand: "I've already contacted our 'resident doctor' to take a look over you all."
That said, he would still reply as best he could: "We got everything we could in the time we had. But if you can get back on your feet, a few on the ground to deal with the inevitable agents on the outside wouldn't be a bad call."

The fight was over then?
Bibi was on the ground and so was the collective that was the creature that was responsible for sending him crashing against the stands that they were currently sitting in. The feeling of dread and the feeling of failure weighed heavily on him for a moment; exhaling softly the man shook his head watching timothy run out to his partner.
"A draw yes."
The man looked down at his hands and frowned slightly; it would be safer in here rather than outside? Wouldn't that be the opposite for them instead of... His eyes flicked and stared at the general for a few long moments. He'd frown and grimace slightly at the idea of having to fight agents. Would he be capable of dealing with this creatures even in a better state?
Time to find out right?
Couldn't of said it better myself... You okay?
Sleepy... you'll have to take care of it if you fight again...
All right.
The shopkeep shook his head after a few brief moments of that cough. It was frustrating to be put into this position but he had no real other alternative.
"I'd need a hand with that but if you already sent for your resident doctor there's not much more I can say other than I'll give you a hand when I'm back on my feet. Wish it could of turned out a tad different, I'm going to feel this in the morning if it's not blacked out first."
Kan snorted in derision and pulled out his digivice; staring at it for a long few moments. The cracked screen didn't bother him too much anymore but it did give him a thoughtful pause before he addressed the general.
"After all of this is said and done; I don't expect to really be kept in the loop but it'd be nice."

Once Timothy got back, he accepted the USB and applied it to Bibi. She was feeling a little bit better, but overall, her condition wasn't the greatest right now for well... Obvious reasons of pushing herself waaaaay too far. She woke up and looked around, seeing Timothy and instantly asking, "Did we win?"
Timothy shook his head with a smile, "nah, but you were scarily close. If they didn't throw that grenade, you would've won."
"Oh... Close enough?"
"Close enough."
He looked up to the General, so apparently he was true to his word, but now here was safer than outside? Oh crap... "So in the end it didn't really matter how hard we tried to get past you, huh? Then... Explain to me how any of this makes sense. I don't understand why you would take this risk to learn more about the statue anywhere in the world, underpopulated or not."
He was open to talking now, not like he had any real choice anyways, he needed to get some answers that sat well with him though. This was just... It just didn't make any sense to him even with all the explaining done. He's gonna slow down and listen to reason...
