The others continued on with what they were doing. It was best to leave him alone, they all thought, although Crystal decided to check on the distraught Gazimon. Marin also examined the situation, but seemed more focused on Pure. Pure had been quick to deny knowing Sanoske the previous day, unlike Crystal. Then there was Sanoske's remark towards Pure. And now, where Crystal tried to comfort the Gazimon, Pure cowered in fear. Sure, the outburst spooked them all, but Pure's reaction was the strongest.
The MarineAngemon went up to him, concerned. "This is probably outside my bounds but... what is it with you and Sanoske? "
Sanoske was sitting by a tree, looking down at his paws. Just when he was enjoying life he had to be reminded not only that he was an "imaginary digimon", but also who it was that made him. Not only that, but his name... Byakko. That name was, to him, the antithesis to Sanoske's very existence. That he was a mere mental extension of Byakko. Sanoske was, in a way, Byakko. His name of Sanoske was really the only real self identity he could call his own.
He was thinking quite deeply into this, but not enough to not notice Crystal.
"[That name... never say it. I'm Sanoske... I want to be Sanoske. It sounds crazy, but that... that name defeats the purpose of myself...]"

Pure took a step back when Marin asked his question. "What... What do you mean?" He asked slightly confused by the Mega's question. Wasn't it obvious what was between him and Sanoske?
As Crystal listened to what Sanoske said, she took a seat beside him. It was obvious to her that this has been tearing him up inside. And not just now, but for quite awhile. Crystal hated to see her friend to be in so much distress.
"You are Sanoske, and you will always be Sanoske. Nothing can ever change that. Not a name. Not some creator. Not anything. Now I can't claim to know the pain your going through, but I do know you should let go of the past so that you can look towards the future." Crystal then gave a dry chuckle before she said, "Of course this is coming from the girl who has no past to speak of, so I'm guessing it's probably easier said then done.
Just... Just try not to let it control you Sanoske. I care for you, and I don't like seeing you beat yourself up over this." Crystal told the Gazimon as she turned her head to look at him, trying her best to smile for him. It proved difficult for her to smile though as she felt tears beginning to build up in her eyes.

Marin raised an eyebrow, so to speak. It wasn't so obvious to him the reason why they didn't get along. Was there even a reason?
"You two don't like each other, I get that. You were even willing to throw him under the proverbial bus yesterday. But I've rarely personally see situations like this and my curiosity is getting piqued. Look... if you are concerned over Sanoske dating your sister..."
Sanoske looked up at Crystal. She was trying so hard to cheer him up despite her own emotional pain he was causing. He wanted to simply stop speaking, but he couldn't. This concern of his was out, and he couldn't hold it back.
"[Crystal, you don't understand... I'm not worried about my past. I don't even have one myself, as a projection. But I am afraid for my future.
I don't hate my creator, I hate my position. I want to be Sanoske. It's why... I gave myself another name. But I'm afraid of 'going away'. I always want to be 'here'. Even moreso with someone like you who makes my existence more tolerable.]"

"Wait... What? Crys dating Sanoske? Where did that even come from?" Pure asked bewildered by Marin's claim. The thought hadn't even crossed his mind before now. And even then, he highly doubted Crystal would do something like that. It wasn't like she was in love with Sanoske, she was just being nice to him.
Crystal's head dropped as she listened to Sanoske. She guessed she was wrong. Here she thought he was worried about his past coming back to haunt him, but that wasn't what worried him. What did was his continued existence, and the possibility that it could all just end. How could she have made such a mistake?
"I want you to be 'here' too." Was all Crystal could manage to say as she looked down at her feet. She didn't want her friend to disappear, but what could she do? There was nothing she could think of that could make the situation any better.

"Oh, oh! I'm so sorry!!! I totally read the situation wrong!" Marin looked flustered, not believing he made such a stupid mistake. "I just assumed that maybe you didn't like him because he... wow that sounds really silly when I really... think about it." And he floated away, thinking he would find some rock to curl up under and die from embarrassment. Unfortunately, having seen the most of the three guests together, it was obvious that Crystal cared for him as a friend. More than Pure was displaying. But his curiosity had to go unfulfilled.
"As they say..." Lily stated. "When you assume, you make an Ass out of U and Me. Please forgive his mistake, Pure."
Sanoske looked at Crystal. He got what he wanted to say off his chest, but it was to the detriment of his only real friend. "[Your concern is heartwarming. And... to be fair, despite my fears, I cannot say for certain what would happen in the future... ]"
He hoped his attempt to cheer up Crystal would work, even slightly. "[You're the cheery one. Be cheery. If you are cheery, then despite my worries I can always go back to your cheer.]"

"It's okay. Honestly. I think I understand why he would make such a mistake. Crys is a very open and caring Lopmon. She always has been, and I guess it could be confused of her having a crush on him. Though if that was so, Crys would have a crush on every unfortunate soul we came upon." Pure explained to the pair. It felt weird for him to even think about the subject, much less talk about it to the pair he knew very little about.
Crystal looked up at Sanoske as he spoke. A small smile formed on her face as she gave him a small nod. It's funny. She came her to cheer him up, but he was now cheering her up instead.
"Okay. I'll try my best to be cheery for the both of us." She told Sanoske in her usual cheerful tone, "Just please do me a favor, and try to not dwell on something that we don't even know will happen yet. Okay?"

"Heh heh, I guess it can't be helped. With That and Tab both busy with their own things, the main ones working here are us two couples." Lily crossed her arms and chuckled. "I guess he was just in that mindset at the time." The Guilmon began to pick up the finished plates to wash. Early and Katie were talking amongst themselves again, and Marin was still too embarrassed to talk. As of now, Pure was left alone.
Sanoske grinned, happy to see Crystal smile again. "[Thanks. I'll try not to fret over that. I cannot make promises, but I will try my best.]" He then picked her up and gave her a friendly hug, being too tall, relatively, to hug her normally. When he finished, he sat her down and rubbed her head gently.
As he walked to the restaurant afterwards, he said, "[If you don't mind, I'll remain out here. Don't worry, I'm fine... I just want to be outside right now. You should make sure that brother of yours is OK.]" Before he sat down against the outside of the mobile restaurant. He needed to clear out some thoughts, but he was indeed in a better mood. "[How about this... when we leave, how about you ride on my back. And...maybe Pure too.]" He was large enough to accommodate the twins, but he wasn't too sure if Pure wanted to get on.

Crystal returned Sanoske's hug. It was kindof odd because of the size difference between the two, but she did her best. She was happy to see her friend in a better mood now. Though she did feel kind of odd as she blushed when Sanoske put her down and rubbed her head.
She followed after Sanoske as they headed back to the restaurant. When Sanoske told her that he wanted to wait out here, she gave him a small nod understanding why. She then gave him a big grin when Sanoske offered her to ride his back when they leave. "Sounds like fun." She told him before entering the restaurant to get Pure.
Pure was watching the door patiently when Crystal entered. "There you are? I was beginning to worry about you." Pure told his sister as she walked into the restaurant.
"Sorry about that. Sanoske is feeling better now though. So are you ready to get going?" Crystal asked him as she stayed by the door.
"Uhh... Yeah, I'm ready to go." Pure honestly still didn't like the idea of traveling with Sanoske, but he was willing to put it up for Crys' sake. Pure then turned around to face Lily and Marin. "It looks like we're heading out now. I just want to thank you for putting up with us. So... Thanks."
So with that, the two twins headed out to meet up with Sanoske outside. They didn't have much clue what the future held ahead of them, but when did they ever know. At least now they had another companion to share their adventures with. At least for the time being.
((I'm guessing this is a good stopping point for this thread. Unless you have anything else you wanted to get done?))

The others in the restaurant had bid their farewells to the guests, but Marin went back into one of the rooms. However, he quickly reemerged with the Flora guide he shown them yesterday. The travel sized one. It was kept in a dark green bag that had a few pockets, but was mostly just for the book itself.
"Now, now, don't forget this, you three. I'm sure this'll come in handy." When he handed it off, he waved. "Come back again some time, alright? We'd love to serve you again one day! Try not to steal any more food, either, Sanoske."
Sanoske went on all fours, a position he was quite used to, but hadn't used lately, and unfurled his large wings. "[Thanks for your help and advice, Marin, and everyone else. Goodbye... this has been an intriguing visit. Alright, we're heading out.]"
Once they got on his back, he would flap his wings, showing their power as noticable gusts of wind were forming with each flap. And then they lifted off of the ground. Fortunately for the twins, Sanoske's fur was long enough for them to safely grab on. Once he for enough height, he flew forward at a brisk pace, wondering where they would go next.
(((This thread is over. Sanoske has left the thread.)))
