What Shino said resonated within Luke and Bellamy. They too had recently recovered some of the code that had been lost to them - in their previous lives as Leky and Impy. And while it made them feel very sad and despairing at the lives that they had once lost, they were still glad to have their memories back.
Then, all of a sudden, alarms went off. Colin was snapped into attention at once. His initial panic was stifled by a part of him recognizing the facts. His elder sister Sophie wasn't here, thus putting him in the position of responsibility. But, Tadayoshi was also here. Colin trusted his comrade enough so that they would hopefully respond to this adequately together.
Colin wasn't ordinarily this jumpy, but, after hearing what AEGIS was like on the night that the Control Spire appeared outside on New Year's Day, he had been worried that he too would face a similar crisis. And seeing what it had done to his sister afterward, well, he hoped nothing similar would happen again.
He quickly gathered his wits and made his way over to where the alarm was coming from. One of the AEGIS system operators told them what was happening. Colin frowned at this information.
"...it responds like this to a Rookie digimon emerging?" Luke wondered out loud, rubbing his chin. "Normally they keep themselves more discreet than this. A rookie digimon's signal doesn't normally pierce through the usual digital energy present in Shibuya... still, that it's caused this kind of reaction, I think we need to investigate this as soon as possible."
"Yeah, agreed on that." Colin said, but then he realized all at once what he and his fellow AEGIS members were...
...under 18.
"...shit, none of us can drive." he stated, pressing his palm to his forehead. Great. What could they do here? Then, all of a sudden, John and Casameir emerged from their dorm upstairs and reported for duty. That reversed everything.
"Heya! John! Casameir! Welcome!" Bellamy said, flashing a grin at them. "So, uh, seems like there's somethin' happening at the Hidden Acre Mall in Northern Shibuya. We'd go there ourselves, but... none of us can drive. So... please tell us that you've got a driver's license?"
If he did, then he'd be able to drive the inconspicuous looking minivan parked in the alley that was next to the entrance to the HQ. While unmarked, thanks to an agreement with law enforcement within Tokyo, the van could display flashing lights and sound a siren to move through the city if it was a digimon related emergency. Just as long as DATS didn't overrule them. Which, to Colin's surprise, they did not.
Still, given that he, Tadayoshi, Johan and Shino were mere teenagers, they'd need someone as mature as John to possibly get away with using that van.

"Wait, didn't you say its name was-"
"Don't."
Commandramon thought he was right not to encourage Vector's hi-jinx by advising Dakota not to seek clarity on the weapon's name. The ever-stiff officer was getting very tired of his lookalike's silliness, and the latest display of sexual harassment even had him growl a little and walk a few paces away in disgust. Corporeal discipline is not for partner digimon, were orders he had to remind himself of for the first time. While of course such a thing was both rarely earned and quite conservatively applied, there were times when specific BlackTerriermon needed an appeal to the more primal side of her mind. After all, Renamon wasn't around to hold her leash anymore. "I still think-" Tadayoshi didn't get to say what was on his mind after all. It was a bit hard to talk over that alert. However, he did not startle from it. It was a sound he'd heard often enough to instantly switch modes with a protocol already in place. His expression and body language changed in the blink of an eye, becoming urgent and stiff but not anxious. The boy, too, still had reservations about the Crossing incident, but he resolved to become more hardened for chaos, more ready for crisis - not less. He held his Loader out toward the wolf. "Dakota, standby." "Yeah, got it." The next moment he was inside the Loader.
Tadayoshi kept his arm and machine held out but totally turned his attention away from it to look at the screen. He didn't even watch Commandramon run off and out of sight, though of course he knew it happened anyway. While he watched the situation develop, his team began loading themselves into his digivice after running in from wherever they had previously been in the building. "Talon 1 reporting!" was Jetmon's check in.
"Talon 2 here!" was Jekyll's the Rocketmon's.
His twin Hyde mirrored, "Talon 3 here!" They were swiftly followed by the six Missimon, who all simultaneously declared, "Here!" The MetalKoromon cluster of eight each entered the loader with a beep, whose pitches descended one octave along the minor scale.
"Woo! Somethin' to do! Bzzzz!" the Searchmon Kamushi cheered.
Hagurumon showed up with a frown and a reluctant mumble, "Here..." as they loaded theirself.
But that left two missing. Yoshi checked his watch. Two minutes, and no Commandramon. That wasn't like him. But then he realized, Angel's missing, too, which actually wasn't like her either. She tended to crave outings like these. But the explanation came when Commandramon, now fully armed and armored, emerged from around a corner while 'escorting a struggling BlackTerriermon, one paw keeping her paws behind her back while the other ear kept her ears stuck together.
"I was in the middle of a boss fight, you jackass! You're the ones who wanted me to play this stuff in the first place, and just as I get into it you gotta drag me all the way across the building just for one little..." Her protests did not halt until she was in the Loader, forcibly pushed in there by Commandramon. That was when the captain unslung his weapon of choice for the day, his G36C, from his back and held it at the ready.
"Forgive my delay, General. It won't happen again."
"Almost three minutes is starting to push it, Top. The captain should be first here." Commandramon didn't argue that. He nodded and grunted in agreement. Yes, it probably took a long time to run off, dress in his full combat gear, prep and load his weapon, mount his heavy pack, fill his pockets with his equipment, and forcibly drag the belligerent Angel all the way there. But when dealing with potential city-annihilating threats, time wasn't money - it was even more precious. He needed his team well-drilled for these things, and the captain knew it. It was Commandramon's job to make time.
There was a sort of odd expression of camaraderie in the way Tadayoshi scolded his partner and said partner took it with humility. There was still some mutual respect in how these two were regarding each other.
Tadayoshi almost missed that another agent reported to this incident. "Good timing, you two." Was four agents overkill for a situation of this scale, a lone rookie digimon of unknown hostility? Tadayoshi's personal answer was, I hope so, as opposed to unexpectedly not even being enough.
To the monitor reporting on the emergence the teen barked, "Track the subject on camera feeds. I want identity, activity, and location updates straight to our comms." As for the captain, "We're Oscar Mike." "Sir." "Well, rookies? Looks like this is your field test."

Dokamon cringed a little bit when Vector started kissing his gun... and called it "Chuckie." "Ugh... please Vector, if you must make out with your weapon than do it in your own privacy. Don't make us have to witness it."
Johan observed Vector's code a little bit more. "I wish there was a way to at least know what the old code was, or exactly what it did. A Digimon hacking a computer through a video game... that isn't normal. There could be other hacking Digimon like Vector out there right now. Who knows what trouble they could cause?"
Almost like magic, right then and there the AEGIS alarm had started going off. Johan jumped a little and almost lost his composure, but as soon as that sudden shock ended he became professional and gathered up with the others. Another AEGIS agent explained the situation: a rookie Digimon anomaly was spotted at the Shibuya bank. Johan and Dokamon had suspicions.
"Why is the system picking up a rookie signal?" Dokamon had asked, "I thought we could only track Digimon who were champion level and above."
"This clearly isn't a normal situation," Johan concluded. He made sure he had the essentials on him before continuing. "We better get down there now..." All steam was lost when Colin shared the unfortunate news. "...bugger, he's right. We need someone to be able to drive us to the bank, or we'll have to run."
It was a good thing that agents John and Casimeir heard the alarm as well, and joined the group. "Perfect timing. There's something going on at the Shibuya bank, and we need you to drive us there. You do have a license, right?"
While everything was getting set up, Johan would comm Speed and Psych about the situation, as there wasn't time to run back upstairs just to tell them.
"Oh, so THAT'S why Commandramon dragged Angel away from her game! You should've seen it, she was kicking and screaming the whole way! Do you want us to come along?"
"I think we might be able to handle it, but you should be on stand-by. I'll message if things get too hairy. Don't intervene until I or another agent tells you to. Got it?"
"You got it, boss! Psych agrees as well!"
"Alright, good..." Hopefully this wouldn't end too badly...

Shino was unable to make heads or tails of it-- but she did get a general thought of why the alarm would go off. " If Digimon are measured by data, maybe it means this 'rookie' is holding more data than most to set off the alarm. or its doing more harm." At AEGIS members' request for more intel to have eyes inside, the woman at the computer shook her head. "Negative. Security cameras are down. We tried to scrub the static from the digital disturbance, but it seems something has jammed the signal from inside it. What cameras that were working were destroyed. This is either a very elaborate bank heist or the digimon inside may not want anyone spying on them." she explained. Shino had a bad feeling about this. As everyone was pretty much getting ready to move out... Vector was the first to jump in. " FINALLY SOME ACTION!" Commandramon chirped as he swung his Rifle over his shoulder. " We got this, Shino! Just you wait. They won't see me coming!" Shino rolled her eyes as she saw Vector ready and eager to rumble. As she got up to join the others, one of the tech attendants stopped her. "Shino-san, wait please!" she asked. Shino stopped and looked as the woman handed her a card holster with some odd looking cards in it. " What are those?" she asked. "Digimon Cards." she explained, "While to most in both worlds, they are mere collectibles or a card game even here-- but i the hands of a Digimon Tamer, they can offer a Digimon a serious power boost depending on the ones you use. They may be helpful to you." Realizing everyone was ready and willing, Shino took the cards with a bow of her head in thanks. With it, she ran to catch up to the others. **** " That is the last time I EVER get in a car with you," she said to HIM. (Left to the imagination for fun ) After much travel and getting there as fast as possible they had gotten to the mall amidst the chaos. The people were out and they could see the layer of white smoke in front of them, where the bank was just inside. There was no telling what was inside. Shino felt like the odd person out as not only was she the only girl in the group, but also the least experienced. They stood a few meters from the field, not sure what would be inside. " Okay... We should go in cautiously. We have no idea what kind of --" Shino said... but was soon interrupted. " MAXIMUM EFFORT! YAAAAH!" In the ultimate action of insiborbination and idiocy... none other than Vector charged in with his rifle ready and dashed into the field. Shino felt her face go red and her head hot from frustration but it was too late. The little cyborg dino charged right into the field without a second thought screaming Deadpool quotes to try and be more bad-ass. Shino was stunned and embarrassed as she stood there with the rest of AEGIS and her shoulder slumped forward. " That walking recycled dinosaur is gonna be the death of me, isn't he?" she sighed. As she listened to the others and got ready-- she now knew a focus to the mission now was to find her stupid partner. Without any hesitation Shino walked right into the strange fog. She and the others naturally wouldn't be able to see much-- the white smoke/fog being a form of digital world energy that radiated wireless signals that mixed data with the space around them. In short, it was like a nexus between the real world and digital world almost. However, as they would emerge out of the smoke into the bank... they would get a surprise from Shino. In the girl's place, where she had dark brown hair, glasses and a more reserved school uniform and jacket--- her entire appearance had drastically changed. Her clothing was different, a jacket and pants with a more military camouflage like design that still was classy on a woman but displayed a militarized look. Her hair was now a teal green color and her complexion also different. Even her eye color seemed different, as if she was a totally different person. If or when others would notice, she would pause, realizing she never told them. The only person who DID know, was Tadayoshi, who saw her first appearance in the digital world when he threw her in there. The truth was this was a projection of her 'digital self'-- the avatar form she used online or in games, now manifested to be a visual of herself in the digital world. It seemed this form was also not limited to the digital world-- and also within Digital fields as well. They were now just outside of the bank, the doors wide open after the people had ran out and a messy clump of dollar bills scattered along the ground. Vector was no where in sight, likely now inside searching the place for his enemy. However, this would be a good place to search for the target. (OOC: Encounter starts next rotation. Had a lot to cover in here. )

John and his partner peered at the cards with interest. "Digimon cards? Who would have thought that someone developed a trading card game based around them?" His hands hooked around his hips as he continued his personal thought. "It would be interesting to find out their origin, and how they emulate Digimon as a whole."
Casimeir's head made a slight tilting motion. "Maybe someone who is aware of us made them?"
It mattered little for now. The main priority was to rendezvous at the bank in the Shibuya Ward. John raised his hand slightly. "Sure, I can drive."
What he didn't mention, however, was that he was still unaccustomed to the local traffic.
And now at the bank's entrance, John's head hung apologetically low and a hand remained glued to his neck. "Sorry, sorry," he mumbled at the fussing. "I'll do better next time, I swear."
But now it was time to get serious. The pair agreed to the notion of staying together as a team. And yet, the Commandramon dashed in--thankfully, guns not blazing. The group could only step through the strange fog and begin their mission.
The dirty blonde American and his Agumon partner both stepped through without hesitation. Now, for them, walking into the Digital World was second-nature to them. It kept a glimmer of excitement each time, even if by now the event had become normality for them. This, however, was something new.
John glanced over to Shino. He noticed that it wasn't the same person that went into the faux-dimension. He figured it was odd, yet interesting. Though, he himself didn't change much, save for the outline of red on his body and the others that entered the bank.
"Okay. This is...Different. I know we just came into the bank. But it feels like we're in some kind of video game." He gestured to certain areas in which floating bits of data hung in the air or close to the ground.
Casimeir concurred with a nod. "It feels like a hybrid of the Human World and the Digital World. Is this what set off the alarm?"
John peered toward the rest of the group. "Okay. In our experience, most Digimon don't mean any harm. A lot tend to be friendly toward humans. So I think it's fair to give this Digimon the benefit of the doubt. Let's not go in hot, and offer an olive branch of peace, so to speak."

None of Colin, Luke or Bellamy minded how long it took Tadayoshi to get his army together. That three minutes gave them the chance to figure things out a little more.
"Luke, Bells, do you think this is related to anything?" Colin asked his partners.
"Well... not really." Bellamy admitted, the Impmon speaking seriously, which was a rare event for him. "At least, nothin' that we've dealt with so far. I mean... this is the first time I've heard of digimon committing high attention crimes like targeting banks. Plus the fact that the alarm system's gone this haywire over just Rookie levels... yeah, I think this is somethin' new."
"I agree with Bells, this looks like something new... as if we needed it at this time." he finished with a scowl.
But still, they had to go there. Colin and his partners made their way into the minivan. To make the best of the space available, given that the van had to seat John, Casameir, Tadayoshi, Johan, Dokamon, Shino, Vector, Colin, Luke and Bellamy, it was a little bit more cramped than was comfortable. But, somehow, they managed to get to their destination.
As they arrived, Colin spoke to his colleague. "Tadayoshi, since this situation is probably within your forte, I'll agree to whatever you suggest in this situation." He thought this was the best thing to do here, since Tadayoshi had more experience in organizing large numbers of allies to best respond tactically and strategically. So Colin made the decision to work with whatever plan he had in mind.
Bellamy personally was eager to advance forward to look at exactly what the situation was, but Luke was inclined to hold back for a bit so they could first secure the situation before acting. Colin sided with Luke in this regard.
The main reason was the fog that covered the place. Colin frowned, this complicated matters. If only they could summon Daedalus here, he had the sensors that could deal with this obstacle, but alas, they could not.
Then, to Colin's surprise, his clothing appeared to change too. From his trim AEGIS uniform from earlier, he was now wearing the red scarf, indigo shirt and black cargo pants that he normally only wore in the digital world. And Luke and Bellamy's attire had changed too, their AEGIS tunics changing to the leather shoulder armor that displayed their crests.
"Okay... this is new..." Colin remarked, but kept on high alert regardless. It seemed others were experiencing similar things.

No one ever issued me digimon cards. Tadayoshi was already planning his chat with whoever was in charge of that.
"Relax, John. You did fine." Well, that was just a courtesy, really. The man's apprehension in traffic hurt response time. Still, the fact that he drove there was by itself helpful. Besides, complimenting John distracted him from the fact that an unfortunately low number of human agents elected to store their digimon for subtlety and space conservation, nor did many of the digimon agents think about this fact. Scolding them for this didn't seem right just as Colin was expressing his faith in the General, John was being self-conscious, and Shino was still keeping her ability secret.
Needless to say, the boy fought hard as he could to be among the first out of the van. Since the acting co-chief was putting his partner in lead, Tadayoshi didn't disappoint. He was barking soon as his feet hit pavement. "Fan out, box in. Davis will take center. I need the rookies in the rear where they can-" Vector, on the other hand, did. At this point it was getting hard not to hold Shino responsible for him, as she now knew she did have the option to stow him. Oh, well. That kind of thinking wasn't going to help. Those two's unpredictability was just going to have to be a variable accounted for. "Unbelievable. Davis, Cas, go with them and keep them from shooting up the place." Hopefully they didn't linger to hear the rest of the plan, because Tadayoshi didn't want that part of it to wait. If they were curious, he'd urge them off by adding, "...Quickly."
Tadayoshi held out his digivice and spoke rapidly. "Agents James, Walker, Dokamon: split and look for alternate routes in, side or rear. If you can't find one, head through the front and join the others inside, but try to surround the subject. Meanwhile, Silence will form an outer perimeter to guard against potential escape from your inner perimeter." To his Loader he barked, "Commandramon! Dakota! Jetmon! Jekyll! Hyde! Kamushi! Alpha through Gulf! Missimon! Hagurumon! All deploy!"
They did. "Group up and move out."
After various acknowledgements of their orders, the team spread out. Dakota stalked the front entrance along with a couple MetalKoromon. The Missimon group joined Hagurumon along a set of windows on the building's right, opposite another window covered by the Searchmon Kamushi and the Rocketmon twins. Meanwhile, Tadayoshi and Commandramon set themselves up at the rear of the bank where they found an emergency exit. As for Jetmon, she got watch duty on the roof and tried her best to see through the skylight, though the fog was making it a bit difficult. Those with radios might have heard Commandramon urge, "Subject intent unconfirmed. Don't spook them." The soldier's own people all ducked out of sight best they could. "This could all still be an innocent digimon emerging in the wrong place at the wrong time." Unfortunately, Shino and Vector were the only ones without the Digi-FM.

"This 'something new' terrifies me. We already have enough to deal with, don't we?" Johan asked. He ran over to another table as Shino began explaining her cards.
"Oh, you have Digimon cards as well?" Johan asked as he grabbed something of his own - something that greatly resembled a flashdrive. "My pal Adrian has those as well. Usually you'd need something like a D-Arc to activate them, but I think it's safe to say that you're a special case."
"Johan, we have more important issues at this moment. We need to go now." The car ride was brutal, with Vector just plain old being Vector during the entire ride. Dokamon was seriously considering uppercutting the annoying Commandramon to the moon, since he was definitely grouchy about being practically squished with everyone else. He didn't care for being touched most of the time.
The scene outside of the bank was the definition of chaos. People were screaming and running everywhere, and there was this white smoke coming out of the door and windows of the bank. It was too thick to be able to see anything in there properly. "This is definitely something new. Anyone have any ideas?"
Shino tried to explain an idea before Vector interrupted her and went Leroy Jenkins right into the bank... alone. The amount of idiocy that Vector had was off the charts by this point. "Is he lacking data where his mental functions should be?" Dokamon asked in a deadpan tone.
Of course Shino had to go follow her stupid partner into the bank. Tadayoshi began to take orders, ordering John and Casimeir to follow Shino and Vector into the bank. Colin and Johan had different orders; to split up and find other entrances into the bank. The two nodded and immediately ran for the back entrance of the bank.
The good news is, there WAS a back entrance. The bad news was that it was locked.
Johan looked at Dokamon, as if they had the same idea. Dokamon rolled his eyes and sighed, walking up to the door. "I do hope the one in charge of repairing doors will not be too peeved." The blue robotic Digimon's fist charged with energy as he punched the door, completely breaking it off from its hinges. The pair would then immediately run in and try to surround the culprit.
Immediately Johan could tell something was wrong. He definitely recognized the team members that had entered the bank, but they all had completely different outfits. Shino was almost unrecognizable, her hair now being a teal green and wearing a completely different outfit. Colin was sporting a more fantasy-esque armor set as well. As for Johan...
His outfit had changed entirely. He now wore a green knit turtleneck underneath a dark brown leather trenchcoat that went all the way down to his ankles. His pants were now skin tight black leather, and he wore brown leather boots that covered his pants. Johan looked down in surprise. Heck, even his hair was slightly different. It was pretty messy before, but now it was so pointy that he looked straight out of an anime like Dragon Ball Z. "This isn't what I was wearing earlier..."

Shino was embarrassed as to how things unfolded with Vector-- as so elegantly put by Dokamon. Shino groaned as she hid her face behind a hand.
As they now entered the digital field-- many would notice that their attire had changed. Some slightly, some drastically! Shino looked at this, and while Tadayoshi didn't have any change, she had a grand change and as did Johan, and small bit of Colin too.
"Huh, so the digital field is like the digital world-- it projects one's digital self image. Perhaps a psychological effect on the person's viewpoint..." Shino mused, but soon shook her head to get back on point. "Well anyway-- you know I'm Shino right. But anyway, let's focus. Let's find Vector, then find whatever is causing this mess."
Tadayoshi and Colin were quick to act as they began to analyze their surroundings. Shino, however, needed to get a leash on Vector-- figuratively speaking in this case. With everyone else itching to start, Shino moved in to the forefront to explore the seemingly evacuated bank.
The littered money might lure some of the less-willed Digimon, but Shino at least was focused as she moved through the white smoke to try and find her partner.
As they entered the majority of the bank to its center-- they saw something. A tiny dinosaur in combat gear and rifle in toe, looking around blankly.
A sigh escaped Shino as she approached, recognizing the Commandramon as her's. "Vector!" she shouted, causing the little dino to turn towards her. "What were you thinking, running off like that?! You know better than to separate from me when we are in the digital world or anywhere for that matter! It's reckless and dangerous!"
Oddly, Commandramon just looked up at her blankly, almost confused as to what she was talking about. As Shino scolded and glared at him, he didn't even flinch or show any body language to her words. There was a pause as she stopped, and the Commandramon reacted...
... by pointing his rifle at Shino. "Stand down, human! You are interfereing with my mission." the reptile said flatly.
Shino's eyes widened a bit in surprise, then her glare got even more intense and angrier. "H-hey! Quit screwing around, Vector!" Shino said and grabbed the barrel of the rifle- pointing it away from her. "You're dumb jokes aren't funny anymore!" she scolded.
The COmmandramon tried to pull his gun back but Shino's grip was pretty strong for a human vs a rookie. As the others would no doubt see this... another presence came behind as Shino was busy with the struggling Commandramon.
"Stand down, or face retaliation, human girl,"" the Cyborg dinosaur argued, trying to regain his grip on his rifle.
"I mean it Vector! One more peep and I'll--"
"Um... Shino...?" another squeaky voice spoke up that was familiar.
"Not now, Vector-- I'm..." Shino stopped as her eyes went wide. "HUH!?"
She turned around to find a commandramon-- specifically HER Commandramon. Vector had not been far and had been hiding via camouflage to sneak in... but now behind her and confused to find her wrestling with another Commandramon identical to him.
THe others would no doubt be just as confused. There were now one too many Commandramon in the room-- not including Tadayoshi's nearby as well.
Shino soon gasped to find her Partner was not the one she was fighting with. "A-another one?! Then who is--"
Cha-CHINK!
SHino turned around to find the Commandramon had tugged the rifle out of her grasp-- and the barrel aimed to her face. An emotionless look was in his eye, devoid of any sympathy or hesitation as he looked ready to shoot Shino between the eyes.
Her expression soon lit up with wordless terror-- her breath caught unable to escape.

When the bank was evacuated, loads of money bills littered the floor of the Digital Field. Thankfully Johan and Dokamon didn't care too much about money, and they had plenty of other things to keep them occupied at the moment, so for them it was as if it was not there at all. They would tell off anyone who would get distracted by the money, however.
This mist certainly was interesting. Johan was still trying to decipher what it was, or why it made their appearances change. Shino said something about this place being a "digital field." Johan perked up at that. "A digital field? You mean like some of the Digital World bleeding into ours? If so, that might be a problem if more of these things show up."
"I believe we should press on and see if there is any way to stop this."
The group had made their way to the center of the bank, where through all the white mist, they could all see a Commandramon standing there. Obviously they assumed that it was only Vector at first... until this Commandramon started to speak, at least. It said something about Shino interfering with its mission.
"Shino, that isn't Vector," Johan tried to tell her, "it's a different Commandramon entirely. It has to be the source of the weirdness going on."
Sadly Shino wasn't paying attention. She kept calling the Commandramon Vector, insisting that it was him, only to find out the hard way when the real Vector walked up. Dokamon wanted to yell at Vector but before he had the chance to do so, the enemy Commandramon had released his rifle from Shino's grasp, aiming it right in the center of her face. It was going to shoot her.
Johan couldn't let that happen. "NO!" The teen yelled, running up to Shino's left side and pulling her away, hopefully before the Commandramon pulled the trigger. If successful, Johan would fall over backwards with Shino falling right on top of him.
Dokamon was furious. The simple act that this Commandramon was willing to fire on them made it a clear and immediate threat. The blue robotic Digimon faced his partner with great passion. "JOHAN! NOW!"
The teen nodded, getting up after Shino would get up herself. He would pull out his Digivice, but he would also pull out a techy piece of equipment. Pressing the button, a metal piece almost like a USB would shoot out of it.
"CHAMPION OVERRIDE!"
Johan then inserted the USB drive into the a port on the side of his Digivice, causing it to glow a very bright blue. Removing the flash drive, the blue light would shoot right at Dokamon, causing his data to burst and reconfigure itself. Afterwards, the blue robotic Digimon would be replaced by a larger, even more robotic Digimon.
"Dokamon, digivolve to... Guardromon!"
As soon as digivolution was complete, Guardromon glared right at the enemy Commandramon as red lasers shot right from his eyes. "Warning Shot!" Guardromon used Warning Shot the enemy Commandramon.
Warning Shot: Red energy lasers shoot right out of Guardromon's eyes.

It was hard to really come to terms with the effects and the science behind the Digital Field for John and the Agumon. The others that entered with them had their appearances change, either slightly or drastically. Though, it was unclear as to why John's own visage stayed relatively the same. It made sense that stepping into any sort of Digital environment would have this sort of effect.
It was something they would have to look into later.
The pair stayed close to the group. As Shino stated, corralling Vector was the first priority before the mission could truly commence. And upon arriving to the epicenter of the building, that task would seem easy enough.
John and Casimeir stayed put and watched Shino storm up to the Commandramon. They had no reason to believe that it wasn't Vector, either. At least until he started to talk.
Calling Shino by the term 'human' raised the first of many red flags. Johan piped up first with verbal concerns about the interaction. John felt uncomfortable about it. "Yeah, I think he's right...That might not be Vector. And...Maybe you shouldn't be trying to wrestle away that weapon?"
The suspicions had confirmation when the true Vector arrived. And the other Commandramon kept mentioning a mission.
"What mission?" Asked Casimeir while he took a step forward. "Listen, we're not here to hurt you. We want to find out why you're at the bank. Why did you come to the Human World?"
Tensions skyrocketed once the perpetrator aimed their rifle at Shino. Anxiety gripped John. Hairs stood on the end of his neck. "Shino!" His voice twinged with shock. It was a good thing that Johan pulled her out of harm's way. A heroic act if he ever saw one. Given the circumstances, John and Casimeir would have done the same.
John's teeth clenched shut. One of his team members' lives was just threatened. It took everything in him to not lose his temper. Johan already initiated a Digivolve with his partner. It was time to do the same.
"You too, Cas!" John gripped and then aimed his D3 Digivice toward the Agumon.
Golden energy akin to data surrounded itself around Casimeir. "Agumon Digivolve to!"
As portions of his body faded away, they were replaced by new body parts all the while that the Digimon grew inside. With a flick of his tail, the process commenced. "Greymon!"
John was certainly relieved that this bank was large enough to contain the size of the newly-formed Champion Digimon. Now that he thought about it, the bank seemed to be bigger on the inside. An effect of the Digital Field, maybe?
John stepped forward to get alongside his partner. A steely gaze threatened to pierce the Commandramon's Digisoul. Guardromon fired a warning shot, so John would add to it.
"Commandramon, whatever your purpose is here, you are on thin ice." He drew a breath to calm his racing heart. "You are completely out of line in aiming a deadly weapon at any unarmed civilian. We are the members of the Artificial Extradimensional Guarding and Investigation Squad. I highly suggest you drop your weapon and stand down!" He threw a punch into his hand, effectively catching it. "Besides," he growled. "Ours are bigger than yours."
Casimeir's gaze matched John's in intensity. "So. You gonna do this the easy way? Or are you feeling lucky?"

The rear entrance was where Tadayoshi and Commandramon were set, so there were just beside Dokamon as he punched down the door. That will be a little paperwork, Yoshi sighed internally, but he agreed it was a reasonable enough action to execute the plan. After Dokamon performed the breach, Commandramon rounded the corner and pointed his weapon. The dragon slapped the side of the gun, and that caused a sight to appear on top of it: a short ACOG through which the dragon had access to thermal vision, which was necessary to see through the dense cloud of fog all over the place. "Subject ID: Commandramon."
"Not Vector?"
"There are two." Unfortunately, like Shino, it wasn't very easy for the captain to tell the two apart. Through this vision mode he could pick up their shapes from their body heat, but no distinguishing body characteristics. Still, there was one more than there was supposed to be, and that was good enough. Even Vector's chameleon camo couldn't hide from Commandramon's heat detection. "Observing." The soldier got down on one knee.
"Guys, we gotta wrap this up before the fog clears, or we're gonna really cause a freakout," Dakota radioed in. "Duck inside if it gets too thin." He continued monitoring the exchange, too far for audio. However, it didn't really matter what was being said once a barrel pointed at Shino. It also didn't matter whose barrel that was, really - Vector or not, that dragon had to be stopped.
"Hostile, hostile, subject is hostile!"
"Hold the perimeter. Engaging. Bang out!" Good thing the others had evolved to champion, making them less susceptible to the rookie level attack heading there way. However, they were still deserving of a warning both for the obvious reasons and to encourage the humans to give it a wide berth as well. Dexterously, the armored dragon slipped a thick cannister out of a pocket in his vest, holding most of it in his main digits but using the thumb to push a button on its side. The quick tap rather than a press-and-hold told the device it was to explode on impact, not to a timer. An underhanded throw of the projectile was aimed to land near the subject's feet.
Bang! Even far outside the blast radius Tadayoshi covered his ears and averted his eyes for safety. Commandramon began to advance into the resulting cloud of dark smoke, eye and muzzle on his target despite the awful visibility between both the smoke and fog. "Drop the weapon and raise your paws!" he growled, "Put it down!" This shout was highly out of character for the soldier who seemed to be capable keeping only an even-keel. Of course, he was deliberately attempting to be as gruff and scary as possible to convince the intruder that Commandramon was ready to shoot. He was ready, of course, but wanted no uncertainty in the target's mind. For safety's sake he halted his advance behind a pillar and hid as much of his body behind it as he could while keeping his gun up.
Commandramon used the noncombat effect of Precision Shot to gain infrared vision. -Precision Shot: The current sight or scope of this digimon's rifle disappears to be replaced by one more appropriate for the current range that automatically corrects aim for wind, distance, and target motion, and it even provides weak-point analysis. This digimon aims the scope or sight, then fires one highly precise energy bullet to deal damage. This attack's accuracy is boosted by 30%, and its damage is boosted by 25%. Outside of combat, this ability may be used at any time without triggering a cooldown to access various scope types like night vision, infrared, and long-range zoom. Cooldown: 2 post. Commandramon threw Bangsmoke set to detonate on impact aiming near the subject's feet.
-Bangsmoke: This digimon throws a grenade that can be set to detonate on contact or timed delay. Upon detonation, it creates a deafeningly loud crack, a blindingly bright flash of light, and a dark cloud of smoke, all of which extend to a 15-foot radius. Any digimon caught in the initial detonation are deafened and blinded for 1 post, and any enemy or ally either inside the smoke cloud or attempting to aim through it using natural sight or smell has their accuracy reduced by 30%. Any digimon using senses besides sight or smell, or with augmented sight/smell capabilities (such as this digimon's infrared-enabled scopes), are immune to the accuracy reduction. The smoke lasts for 3 of the opponent's posts. Cooldown: 3 posts.
Bangsmoke must cool down: 3 posts remaining.

Post by Colin, Luke & Bellamy on Aug 20, 2019 9:32:05 GMT
While Colin and the twins were taking position, Colin was making sure to take the precaution of notifying the authorities. Sophie had given him a special contact number that would go straight to the top of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. And when an incident like this happened, he was to call them and say this message.
"AEGIS here. The incident at the bank in Northern Shibuya. D-Monsters are involved. AEGIS is in control of the situation."
He waited for the reply, worried that he would be responded to with hostility, but thankfully it was a calm male voice that answered.
"Understood. Police will deploy in an outer perimeter, but we won't approach the building itself until you give the all-clear or request for help. And... kid... don't let anyone get killed in there."
Colin shivered a little as the police chief seemed to know who he was and what the stakes were here.
"Roger. We'll keep in touch." Colin answered, then disconnected the phone call. This way, the police would know beforehand that this was a particularly dangerous operation that they may not be equipped to handle, so they would simply hold back and let those that were equipped for it could handle things uninterrupted.
As he did so, Luke and Bellamy returned to him after scouting out other entrances. There were none.
"Alright, in the front entrance we go..." Colin began, but gasped as there was suddenly a burst of hostile activity from inside. Immediately the trio stared into the doorway as it filled with smoke, flashes and shouting.
"What the hell are they doing in there?!" Bellamy asked, frowning. They weren't meant to take it this far surely?!
He was about to look in, but Colin held the Impmon back.
"We can't see or operate in there, we'll hold back for now." he told his partners. Bellamy growled with frustration, but, relented and held fast. Whatever was going on in there, Colin would expect a full recap. From what he had seen so far, Vector foolishly running in there had caused all this fracas in the first place. And if he survived in there and failed to explain himself, Colin would likely question why he was even attempting to be in AEGIS in the first place.

Post by Shino Taka on Aug 25, 2019 4:01:02 GMT
Shino was in shock as the gun looked like it was about to go off. Vector let out a cry of alarm as he ran to get to her-- but luckily Johan made the heroic effort to get in there and pull her away, just before the dinosaur could pull the trigger. Shino was on top of Johan-- not really focused on the obscene position that would have made Vector jealous and mad. A little shaken up, Shino looked down at Johan, her composure broken to be a bit more 'feminine' in her usual attitude. "Um... Thank you," she said softly, her heart still racing.
Johan's Digimon made the first attack that sent lasers flying, forcing the Commandramon back from its impact. THe others were not about to do anything. ONe of them produced a Greymon, now intimidating a presence within the bank. JOhn and Casimeir were ready and gave the rogue Commandramon a clear warning-- along with a sassy remark that was appropriate. Tadayoshi and his digimon came in with as smokebomb-- but also aimed to shoot if the enemy didn't comply with their demands. COlin and his team were in the back so far, Shino and Vector unsure where they were but probably on standby...
The enemy commandramon saw the other Digimon around him and the demand to lower his rifle. Seeing the precarious situation, he was smarter to drop his rifle to the ground and kept his arms somewhat up. However, his gaze was fixated to the other Commandramon-- specifically, Vector. STill an aura of tension remained in the room, and the errie flicker of the computer screens added to the buzz of static. Something didn't feel right than just one rogue rookie causing trouble.
"Target located. Unknown figures also present. Subject D-86-- respond. Why have you not completed your mission and returned for debriefing?" he asked.
For a moment, Vector blinked blankly, and looked around and behind him. "Um... You talking to me? " he asked with a point of his claw to himself. "I'm afraid you got me confused with some other handsome digi-brother. "
This time the enemy was the one confused as he glared angrily at Vector. "Was there an error in your data? D-86, you are ordered to return to base and upload the data you found to our network. Will you comply?" the enemy asked.
It was then that Vector grew an angry glare at the carbon copy of him. "Um... oh what is the military way of saying this... hmmm..." he paused, his tone more sarcastic, "Oh yeah... BITE MY SHINY METAL TAIL!" he spouted in a crass comment he got from television, "I don't follow orders from YOU. My commanding officer is none other than Nemesis, so buzz off, you wannabe!"
Clearly, Vector was boasting for his own stupid reasons-- but that only made matters worse. The enemy Commandramon's eyes narrowed. From the Commandramon's point of view, his data-like gaze went from Commandramon to the teal-colored haired woman nearby, identifying her as the 'officer' he followed. "Alert. Unit D-86 has been compromised. Prepare for termination, TRAITOR!" he shouted.
In a quick movement-- the rogue Digimon reached for his belt and produced a grenade of his own. He was close to launching it if not intervened. Vector was quick to act too as he took out one of his own.
Vector moved to get in between Shino and the rogue Commandramon, tossing the Grenade similar to how Tadayoshi's did. "Eat this! PRESENT GRENADE!! " he shouted, and threw the grenade.
Upon impact of its own, it released even more smoke to the mix-- now making it from smokey to damn unseeable. The Present Grenade did random effects, not all under Vector or SHino's own control.
OOC: Smokey Hell-- The entire bank center is filled with smoke, making it impossible to tell where the enemy truly is in all the chaos. Risk of hitting familiar objects. Or causing excessive damage.
Mystery Screen-- The computer screens throughout the bank are acting strangely. Be wary of them as they produce odd environmental effects to benefit Commandramon...

Well, with the two new Champions being thrown into the mix, the flaring tensions would appear to lower to a gentle simmer. The Commandramon heeded John's brash warning. The rifle was set onto the ground. At least now, some questions could be asked.
The smoke bomb released its smokescreen into the room. John and Casimeir appropriately braced themselves from the blast. They were far enough away from Vector and the others to become too hindered by the surprise. Yet still, their ears rang slightly.
John and Casimeir remained on standby. Fighting in the bank wasn't something they wanted to do. They came here to get control of the circumstances, not to worsen them. John's fists relaxed only slightly. Shino was now out of danger. But it didn't excuse the action of the Rookie Digimon.
Questions that formulated within the man's mind were about to be given a breath of life. The enemy Commandramon, however, asked questions of his own. Queries directed at Vector. This caught the pair's full attention.
This Commandramon addressed Vector as if he knew him. "Subject D-86?" he mouthed. Casimeir looked toward his partner while shrugging. And talk of data being corrupted? He desperately wanted to interject; though, instead, he wished to see how this would play out.
Vector denied any kind of professional relationship with the would-be bank robber. Interrogation about some mission was thrown at Vector. To which he also denied. Realistically, John heard the sincerity in Vector's abrasive demeanor. Just what was happening?
The scene would spiral even further out of control with another smoke bomb being introduced. More smoke blanketed the entirety of the bank room. John and Casimeir stifled coughing fits. They were glad that the artificial fog wasn't tear gas.
"D-damn it," John growled, "I can't see anything! Cas?"
Casimeir's head swiveled across the unseen area before him. "No eyes on the enemy, or anyone!"
The thought of spitting on the ground out of sheer frustration came to mind. He restrained himself. "Gotta hope this smoke clears soon..."
