Getting Back to Work [AEGIS]

Enkidu at first scowled at being petted on the head, but, alas, his resistance soon faded and he was soon pushing it into Johan's hand to make the experience even more pleasurable. There was just something about human fingers petting him that he couldn't resist. He closed his eyes lazily, his tail wagging again while it lasted.
It hadn't been very difficult for Enkidu to track Stacy down and observe her. The BlackGaomon had a keen nose for even spirit digimon, and he knew well enough to keep to the shadows. While he hadn't seen her every action, he had seen enough to give a positive report to Sophie. He was at least glad that there seemed to be no hard feelings when Stacy offered him a handshake, which he accepted.
"Nice to meet you all too." he said to Stacy, Justice, Vee and Gummy.
"Alright, thank you, Psych." Sophie replied to the telepathic drake digimon.
On the talk of Dokamon meanwhile, Bellamy again felt enough urge to join in. "True. Only fists I've seen like yours have been from Owen in his MachGaogamon form." the Impmon stated. He then realized they might not know of him. "Ah, Owen's a friend of ours. He's a solo digimon that lives in the digital world, but he's happy to help out AEGIS whenever he can."
Sophie then took on Vee's question. "Yes, we do have a training room upstairs. Unfortunately due to the limits of structural integrity, we can only provide for sparring at the rookie level. But still, it's a safe room for rookies to spar in."
"Hmph, sucks having to de-digivolve every time I want to fight in there." Lantis said a little poutily.
"Well, sorry about that, Lan, just a spar between you as a Leomon and Dokamon as a Guardromon would probably blow up half the building, so we have to work within our means." Sophie explained with an exasperation as though they had had this conversation many times before.
Justice seemed impressed that Sophie and Colin's grandmother financed AEGIS. That was something they were proud of too, so Sophie was happy to elaborate. "Thanks. Grandma Emiko thinks AEGIS is rather a fitting project for her. She was born into something of a rich Japanese family and got sick of them dominating her life, so she rebelled, fell in love with and married our grandpa Richard, a US Marine on leave from the Vietnam War. She lived in the states for 30 years, then when he sadly died, she returned to Japan to claim her inheritance, she's then been very helpful with our goal of keeping Tokyo safe from digital world threats. And also she doesn't really appreciate DATS's approach, so we've been going by her wishes."
Colin felt a little bit of melancholy at this story. He had never met Grandpa Richard, he had died 3 years before he was born. He wasn't jealous of Sophie for knowing this though, she was only 1 year old when it happened, so she didn't know him either. Also, they noted that Justice didn't seem like he wanted to talk about his family, not even to his partners, so they took note not to go down that line of inquiry.
"Anyway, let's begin the tour." Sophie said, beckoning for them to follow her upstairs to the second floor. Unlike the first floor, which was pretty much a basic office space, this floor was where they kept the good stuff.
"This is the operations floor." Sophie explained to the group. "While our first floor we keep to office and administrative work, this is the true heart of AEGIS. Here is our response command centre, as well as our incident monitoring station and our other facilities. Colin, care to take over?"
"Ah, right." Colin said, a little startled that he was being brought into this, but he would lead the group around the floor to tell them about each section. "This here is our training dojo." he said, pointing to a 30x30ft room lined with padded mats. "As mentioned before, rookie combat only if you can. And since it's designed for training rather than all-out combat, please try to use the protective gear as much as possible?" he indicated the shelf for that - where a digimon could gear themselves up with padded helmets, gloves and other guards.
"Next is this - the home portal." he indicated a small room that was filled with miniature radar dishes. "If you're ever in too much trouble in either the digital world or the human world, you can activate your special AEGIS digivice that will return you here. Please keep it in mind."
Next, Colin would indicate the observation area. "Here, we have the ability to track every Champion and Ultimate level digimon in Shibuya via radar." he said. "DATS have set up a network of disruptors that prevent any evolution above Ultimate occurring, so no need to worry about Megas and Super Megas. We keep tabs on whichever digimon we find at that level. All contacts currently are marked as safe for now."
The next part of the room of notice was a long corridor, 100 yards long. "This is the firing range. Feel free to practise your ranged attacks here whenever you want." he showed them the controls for the paper targets at the other end, and how they could be brought forward in increments of 20 yards. "And again, please Rookie level only, we don't want to blow a wall out of the building."
"So, that's about that for this floor." Colin finished. All that was left was sundry operations that was more the concern of the general staff than agents themselves. "Got any questions before we head up to the residential floor?"

Nice to see that some Digimon still have the traits of whatever they're based on, Johan thought as he finished giving Enkidu a pet on the head. Although I would appreciate it if Dokamon was a bit less robotic. Maybe I can learn how to change that behavior in his coding- no, that would be a big violation of a Digimon's free will, but maybe I can find another way to-
Johan suddenly froze in place as he was lost in his own thoughts. Dokamon sighed and started tapping the young tech geek's leg. "Johan, you are lost in thought once again."
"Huh?" Johan said as he snapped out of his thoughts. He blushed and rubbed the back of his head. "Heh... sorry about that."
On the topic of Dokamon again, Vee asked if he would like to spar with the Veemon later, saying that Dokamon looked "uber strong". Dokamon nodded. "I appreciate the compliment but I am afraid that I have not Digivolved into Ultimate yet. You are more likely to have more strength than I do. But I accept your spar invitation." Bellamy told Dokamon that the only fists as big as his that he's seen was Owen's MachGaogamon form, before explaining who Owen is. "Johan and I have met Owen and his son Bezil once before. It has been quite some time since the last time we met, however."
My fists are not that big, are they? Dokamon thought as he took a moment to look at his hands. ...indeed they are.
Sophie explained to Vee that there was a training room but it could only suit rookie level Digimon, causing Lantis to complain about having to devolve during training. "At least your training partner won't be distracted by your abs, Buff Simba," Speed quipped.
Because of that, Speed and I tend to take our training to the Digital World since we cannot digivolve nor de-digivolve, Psych explained to everyone. So Lantis, you are welcome to come with us if you ever want to train as Leomon.
After Sophie explained her grandmother's story, the group began the tour. It was pretty much identical to the tour that Johan and Dokamon had went on when they first joined AEGIS, so unless any of the two new recruits had a question they did not say much. Speed tried to leave during the tour though since he got fairly bored, causing Psych to have to go and fetch him.
Johan, Dokamon and the twins would wait for the recruits to ask their questions before moving on to the residential floor with the others.

Stacy looked at each room and said "Long range target practice. Looks like it's not an option for me since I have no long range attacks in rookie form unless you count a whip made of prayer beads. That and the furthest I've evolved is with a spirit fraction."
Stacy watched as Johan seemed lost in thought for a moment and thought 'Seems I'm not the only one to zone out from time to time around here.'
When Speed called Lantis 'Buff Simba' and mentioned his abs she snickered quietly to herself.
She was ready for the tour to continue and noticed Speed try to leave. He was probably just bored or restless. Maybe it was a bit of both but the digimon known as Psych seemed to have things under control so Stacy just waited for Justice to ask questions if he needed to.

Hearing that AEGIS did indeed had a training room, Vee's eyes twinkled in excitement, only for it to dwindle when they're only restricted to their Rookie forms. "No worries. Training is training after all, no matter what form we take." He turned to Dokamon, smiling. "I guess you can count my brother and I on the same boat as you are, 'cuz the highest level we've reach is Champion too."
"Geez. Need a megaphone to say that out loud?" Gummy replied in a disgruntled tone. He didn't like mentioning highest evolution currently. It had only been about a few months since both of them acquired the Champion level, and he already was getting bored of the form. He needed to get stronger--he needed more power, and it all lied in their Tamer's heart. Surely there's got to be something in Justice that would allow them to reach even greater power. He just didn't know what.
Sophie then told everyone about her grandmother which impressed Justice. He always found it interesting hearing family members' stories. At the same time, it made him miss grandmother even more, who sadly passed away from cancer back when he was in the sixth grade. One of his biggest regrets was never asking about when she was young.
With that out of the way, the tour began. The floor in which they were in was the office and administrative floor, that much was already guessed. They then to the training room, where numerous training equipment can be seen neatly organized. Vee and Gummy attempted to grab two kendo sticks to pretend sword fight before Justice picked the two of them up, not wanting to drag them and wrinkle the nice outfits he bought for them.
The next places were the home portal, observation area, and the firing range. All interesting to say the least. Sophie then asked if either Justice or Stacy had any more questions. "So in the observation room, do all of the disruptors extend throughout Shibuya, or the entirety of the country?" Justice asked curiously. "Because with that kind of advance technology, and assuming if it's just only regional to just Japan, why not try and set up a network throughout the major countries like America or the United Kingdom for instance? Just because we don't have to worry about any Godzilla-like destruction happening here, doesn't mean the rest of the world should have to."

"Ah, cool, good that you've met 'em." Bellamy said to Dokamon, cheerfully. "We visit Ys regularly on Daedalus, he's our Heliodramon merc. He's basically a big mecha dragon airship digimon, but he can't show up on Earth, mainly 'cause of the anti-evolution barrier that DATS set up. But he's great for gettin' around quickly on the digital world."
Lantis gave a grin at Speed to show that he rather liked the nickname, but didn't take it as a flirt. By now he knew the drake didn't respond to his attempts, so he no longer tried, supposing it would be inappropriate of him.
He liked Psych's offer though. "Hmm, I might take that up sometime." he said, rubbing his chin. "Enkidu, you've recently evolved to Ultimate, right? Fancy teaming up for some sparring against these two in the Spartan Training Grounds one day?"
"Sure, sounds fun." Enkidu smiled, glad of the offer to hone his skills in his new form.
On the next floor, Stacy remarked that long range combat wasn't much of an option for her. "That's fine." Colin assured her. "You could bring the target all the way up to the starting line and practice your whip that way."
Bellamy, having been the only one of them to see Gummy in action understood his resentment in being unable to evolve beyond Champion. "It's okay. You'll manage it one day, I'm sure of it." he said quietly as a means of encouragement. "I can offer help if you need it, if not, that's cool too."
At the end of Colin's tour of the operations floor, Justice asked about the evolution disruptors.
"The evolution disruptors are placed all around Tokyo, and other heavily populated cities in Japan." she explained. "From the information we've gathered about them, they work from the fact that high level digimon operating in the human world need a lot of concentrated data to exist. So these disruptors prevent them from holding their Mega and Super Mega forms. DATS tried to increase their power to prevent Ultimate level forms, but doing so disrupted wireless data networks too much, so they were abandoned. In the end they settled to stop the top level forms, mainly to prevent something like an Armageddemon from destroying the place or similar."
As for the spread of such technology, Sophie was prepared to answer that too. "We don't know much about the spread, but, DATS is a branch of the Japanese government, and they have been readily sharing the technology with its national allies." she explained. "From what we heard, they aim to share it with most allied heavily populated areas. Also we have hearsay that American naval fleets have been adopting the tech as well, but we can't confirm that, given AEGIS is kept at arm's length from national security matters like that."
"Good thing too if it's true." Luke added. "I'd hate to see what a GigaSeadramon could do to a supercarrier from below."
"Me too." Sophie admitted. "Well then, if that's all, let's head upstairs to the residential floor."
Once there, Sophie would resume leading the tour. "Here is the top floor, which is just our residential centre." she said. "All AEGIS agents and their digimon are free to live here, free of charge. We have 12 apartments in total, each with their own bedrooms, living rooms, bathrooms and kitchens, enough space for a tamer and up to three digimon. We've also managed to get some facilities, such as a group conference room, a small gym, and a small swimming pool for those that need some exercise, among other sundry facilities."
Sophie was basically saying that the AEGIS headquarters were a sufficient place for their agents to live here permanently if they wanted to.
"Any further questions?" she asked the group.

Dokamon raised an eyebrow when Gummy voiced his concern about Vee shouting out the highest form they could get to at the moment. "It is all fine, Gummy. No need to feel bad about your current level. I am positive that I will reach my Ultimate form fairly soon, however. Perhaps you two are the same?"
Speed could definitely tell that Lantis liked that nickname, Buff Simba. He probably wouldn't call him that all the time, but it was definitely a more interesting name than "Lantis". Plus, the Speedramon couldn't help but admire those abs himself...
Lantis agreed to take Psych's offer on training, and he even invited Enkidu to come along as well since he apparently also made it to the Ultimate level. Psych nodded. We could potentially even do a tag-team spar, my brother and me versus you and Enkidu.
Sophie began to explain the evolution disruptors to Justice. In theory it would make sense to limit Mega forms from entering the Digital World, since even a champion could cause major damage if they wanted, so a Mega could cause a full-scale apocalypse. Sophie also brought up the spread of the technology, claiming how Japanese allies could potentially have the tech as well. "I personally would love to get my hands on that tech for myself," Johan commented.
"Yeah, Johan's got that whole 'tech geek' thing going," Speed commented to the new agents. "I don't understand most of what he says when he gets going on that stuff, but I guess it's helpful in some way?"
The last stop on the tour was the residential center on the top floor, where she basically explained that agents could live here permanently if they wanted to. It is your choice on the matter of living here or not, Psych would tell the new agents. We have plenty of agents that choose to remain in their current homes, so living here is not a requirement.

Sounds like the evolution disruptors could be helpful against invading digimon. Stacy, though relatively new to her role, had a feeling that high level digimon of champion or higher could cause quite a lot of damage. That made her think before she said "Wait, can't some rookie digimon cause lots of damage potentially as well." The reason she said this was that her Pyro Wheel could possibly burn down a whole city block under certain circumstances. One reason she was very careful when she moved around Shibuya as Hinookamimon.
When they reached the residential area she thought such place could have its advantages. Maybe she should get a place here. It could save her some money that's for sure. "I can see some advantages in living here. Maybe I should get a place here." she said not minding the obvious techno geek near her.

Gummy gave Bellamy a silent nod to his offer to help evolve beyond Champion. That would mean Vee would have to tag along as well since they both made it their goals to get stronger together, not for themselves, but for Justice as well. Sooner or later the three of them will face someone stronger than their current level, so they have to be ready for whenever that happens. He just hoped Justice was.
As Sophie explained about the evolution disruptors, Justice rested his thumb and index finger on his chin in a thinking posture. “Interesting. I guess leaving the power level of the disruptors to prevent Megas and above from showing up can’t be helped since it affects wireless networks.” He responded. “Seeing as though us millennials treat the Internet like it’s essential like food and water, we all would be blind as a bat if the disruptors were amped up…I mean I would. I can’t go a day without being on my phone. Take that away, it’ll be like taking a part of my soul.”
The next place they visited was the residential area, where all AEGIS agents and their Digimon can choose to live here free of charge. The trio winced when Psych telepathically explained it to them. It was strange to have someone talk in their minds; They’ll have to get used to when it comes to communicating with him.
“See, had I joined a little earlier, I would have been down to live here.” Justice said. “But we just finished unpacking my stuff at my...friend’s house.”
“Palicae?” Vee asked. A sly smile appeared on his face. “Ah I would say you and Pal are more than just friends~”
“Yeah, you could say you two are together-forever friends~” Gummy teased.
“Mmhm. Like you and Bezil, right?” Justice retorted back, crossing his arms.
The Gumdramon’s face slowly started to turn red before attempting to hide his face from everyone to no avail, prompting Justice and Vee to chuckle.

Lantis noticed Speed looking at his abs, and replied with a simple wink.
Psych then agreed to a tag-team match sometime. "That sounds excellent. We could all pitch in and prepare ourselves as best we can." Lantis agreed.
Sophie then turned to Johan when he remarked that he'd rather like that technology too. She sighed and shook her head. "No chance of that. DATS informed me that we're expressedly forbidden from any access to their technology." She paused, then added as an afterthought, "...for the time being."
Stacy then asked about the potential damage of rookie digimon. Sophie raised an eyebrow to that. "Well... rookie level digimon don't normally do that much damage. The emergency services could easily put out whatever damage they could cause. A mega level meanwhile? That kind of power could destroy countries. So, I suppose in this, I agree with DATS on that part."
Justice raised a good point about the power level of the disruptors as well. "Exactly. We want to conduct our operations with as minimal interference with our normal lives as possible." Sophie agreed.
It seemed that neither of the new agents would be in need of the facilities of the residential level. "That's fine. Just if you have no other option, as AEGIS agents, you're free to use them as you see fit." she said. There was some banter between Justice, Vee and Gummy. Then a familiar name was mentioned.
"Oh? You're in a thing with Bezil?" Sophie asked, smiling. "That's so sweet. We're friends with him, so, good for you."
While Colin, Luke and Bellamy were more distantly acquainted with Owen and Hikaru's third son, they knew enough about him to think it was a nice thing. Bellamy would have ordinarily playfully teased Gummy about it, but he respected the Gumdramon enough to lay off this time.
"So then. That's it for the tour." Sophie finished. "If you've got any further questions, best ask them now. If not, we'd best head down to the office floor. Grandma Emiko's due to arrive soon, and we'd best be ready."

Speed responded to Lantis' wink with a slight smirk. It was almost as if the two were developing some sort of unspoken communication with each other. Speed would definitely be interested in getting to know him a bit better... good thing that he agreed to the tag team match that Psych had suggested!
The disappointment on Johan's face was as clear as crystal when Sophie said that DATS forbade AEGIS access to their technology. "NOOOOO! I was really looking forward to studying it," the teen complained. Dokamon did not know anything about consoling others, so he simply tapped Johan's leg. Probably would've looked weird to everyone else.
Psych could tell that Justice and his partners were not used to him speaking via telepathy. He understood that completely, but how else was he going to communicate when you had no voice? Ah, many apologies. Telepathy is as normal to me as speaking is to you, so I do not know how it feels to have someone send a message into my own head.
Justice claimed to have already had a place set up. Johan felt a bit disappointed, as he was seemingly the only agent living at HQ these days, but he understood. Vee and Gummy began teasing Justice about his roommate being "more than a friend," causing Justice to fire back and tease Gummy about him and Bezil. "Heh? Who's Bezil?"
"Owen's son. I assume Justice meant that the two of them are in a romantic relationship, and judging by Gummy's reaction I also concur that he did not wish to share that information." Speed just snickered at how absurdly straightforward and blunt that was.
"Uh, that's pretty blunt of you to say," Johan said with a sweatdrop, "But yeah, Bezil's a friend of us as well, so congratulations Gummy."
And with that, the tour was over, and Sophie suggested that they'd all head down to the office floor to meet Emiko. "Alright, race ya there," Speed said before using his power and zooming all the way to the office floor, properly giving everyone a display of his ability. Johan, Dokamon and Psych simply blinked.

Sophie had a good point when it came to both rookies and megas. Yes a rookie going rouge could still create a problem but a rookie's power was puny in comparison to a mega which made Stacy wonder just what her mega form would be capable of. That train of thought was soon interrupted by the mentioning of a digimon named Bezil.
At the bluntness of some of the words Stacy chuckled and said "It may have been blunt but at least it was to the point. I was worse as a kid."
Watching Speed take off made Stacy fight the urge to spirit evolve to Hinookkamimon and give chase. Maybe as a digimon she could keep up with him but she had nothing to prove at this point. Boy did the little guy make her feel tired just watching him though. Deciding to follow Sophie and Speed she glanced at Johan, Dokamon, and Psyche and asked "Hey, you guys coming or what?"

Putting his paws down from his face, Gummy looked away from everyone, turning more red as they continued to talk about Bezil. Unlike others, who would make their relationships public, Gummy kept his with Bezil's on the down-low, with only a few people like his brother, Justice, and Bezil's folks, knowing about their relationship. Though it was nice to hear that his boyfriend was well know, even in AEGIS. He can take some pride in that.
With Psych on the other hand, Vee merely shrugged his shoulders. "Ehh, don't sweat it, man," he said, "If that's the only way for you to communicate with others, then it's all good. Though it feels really weird having a voice inside your head." He paused for a moment, raising a finger up. "Wait...does that mean you can ready people's minds as well? If so, then tell me what I'm thinking about right now?"
With the tour completed, Sophie suggested for everyone to head down to the office floor to meet Emiko, the financier of AEGIS that she'd mentioned earlier. The trio watched as Speed zipped right past them in the blink of an eye, prompting Gummy to scoff at him. "Hmph! Showoff."
Seeing as though they were in no rush, Justice walked alongside Colin. "Seems like you all are a lively bunch in here, huh?" he asked nonchalantly.

Lantis felt a little excited from the way Speed returned his wink. The Leomon interpreted that as the Speedramon returning his affections, so, maybe when this meeting with Sophie's grandmother was over, they could maybe catch up privately and work out exactly was going on? Sophie gave an understanding nod to Johan's frustrations meanwhile. "Yes, it's unfortunate. They've made their technology a government secret, so we'll just have to make do with what we know so far." she answered. With little more to be said, they would then proceed to the office floor. Colin looked to Justice as the elder young man mentioned that they were a lively bunch. "Yep, pretty much." Colin answered with a grin. "We can get pretty goofy in our downtime, but, when shit gets real, we know what to do." And given Justice and his partners' performance in Terminus City Station, they were roughly the same. But, now was the time for seriousness, because it was almost time for the inspection. For the next few minutes, Sophie would fuss about the office floor, ensuring that all was neat and tidy. There was little else to do until the arrival finally happened. And then it did. The front entrance chimed a notification of a visitor, Sophie accepted it, and then an elegant looking elderly Japanese woman entered. She had the same eyes as Sophie, and a similar facial structure as Colin. This was the real deal for them. The lady approached the assembled AEGIS agents (Sophie would call for them to line up in an orderly fashion to receive their guest). "Welcome, Grandmother Emiko." Sophie said, bowing to her politely as she approached. "Oh, no need to kowtow to that nonsense, Sophie." Emiko James replied, and gave her a loving hug instead. "It's wonderful to see you again. And you too, my little Colin..." she blinked as she registered just how tall Colin had grown in his later teenage years. "Well... I mean 'little' in terms of age I suppose." she saved herself, given Colin was towering almost a foot taller than her. She still gave him a hug regardless. With that, Emiko turned around to look at the rest of them. "So then, this is the AEGIS organization I've backed then, hm?" she asked, figuratively. "While I gather DATS has done an annoying number in stealing your thunder, I still gather you're all here for some reason of competence, yes? Could you please introduce yourselves to me?"Given how nonchalant the elderly lady seemed to be with all the digimon in the room, it seemed clear that she had already met Luke, Bellamy and Lantis, and was thus familiar enough with digimon to not mind them. She awaited introductions from the other AEGIS agents and why they were here.

Following Speed's extraordinary run towards the AEGIS office floor, Stacy seemed nonchalant as she followed Sophie, asking the others if they were coming or not. Johan simpy chuckled, scratching the back of his head before picking up the pace. "Yeah, yeah, we're coming."
As they walked, Dokamon had noticed Gummy's facial expression and his red face. Dokamon did not know all too much about emotions yet, but he did know that a red face meant extreme embarrassment. It probably did not help that Dokamon had made such a blunt statement earlier. He decided to walk up to the Gumdramon. "My apologies for earlier. I did not pick up the signs and was only trying to provide Speed with information regarding Bezil's identity."
Vee proceeded to tell Psych that his telepathy wasn't a big deal, since he could not speak regularly. That relieved the Flamedramon variant somewhat. Vee then asked if that meant he could read the minds of others. Well of course I can. Vee then asked Psych to read his mind. You are currently thinking of miso-flavored ramen, which makes me wonder if you've had breakfast today since you're already thinking of food.
Once they reached the ground floor, Sophie went around making sure everything was neat and tidy for her grandmother's arrival. Psych would also help out using his telekinesis powers, just to make sure nothing was missed. And then it was time: an elderly woman walked in through the front entrance. Johan, Dokamon and the twins would line up in orderly fashion, such as Sophie had requested.
Based on how she was talking to Sophie and Colin, Emiko seemed really nice! She turned towards the other agents, asking for them to introduce themselves. Johan and his crew took the honor of going first. "A pleasure to meet you, ma'am. I am Johan Walker, sixteen years old."
"I am referred to as Dokamon, and I am Johan's partner."
"Heya; my name is Speed, and this here in my brother Psych. We're pretty much Johan's additional helpers. Be prepared, though, Psych's way of speaking is through telepathy."
That is indeed true, Psych would "say" after Emiko fully braced herself. It is a pleasure to meet you, Emiko James.

Stacy's sprint didn't last long as she began to tire quickly, that and Speed had left her in the dust. Slowing to a brisk walk she thought 'I was never fast as a youngster but I was in better shape that's for sure. Maybe I'm getting to old to be racing with people of that age unless I'm in digimon form. Oh well, at least the run was a little fun. That one called speed might be faster than I am even as Hinookamimon and in that form I'm a little faster than a greyhound dog. Good thing I don't sprint down town nearly at full speed or I'd attract unwanted attention.'
Realizing she was starting to fall a little further behind she started jogging and when she reach the door of the office she slowed down to a slow walk. However, it seemed gravity decided to make a fool of her as she tripped over her two feet and nearly crashed face first on the floor. She was able to just correct herself so she landed on her knees instead. "Ow." she hissed as she pushed herself to her feet and walked over and lined up with the others.
After catching that the elderly woman was asking for them to introduce themselves Stacy said "Sorry, I'm usually not always that clumsy. My name is Stacy Miller and I'm a thirty eight year old spirit wielder."
