Darian stood from his seat, turning the map setting off on the Digivice in order to hide it from prying eyes. Needless to say, his interest was piquing. That Digivice was close by, and in all honesty, from experience alone he knew that Digivices seemed to be attracted to young kids. He was interested to see if his assumption was correct. If those two kids were tamers than at least Darian could stop worrying that some "ultimate evil" tamer had broken his way into the human world.
Then again, now that he thought about it, he and Gabe had achieved Super Mega level in just under a year of receiving his Digivice, and that was way back when he was just fourteen. That thought struck a chord in his mind when a brief image of The Kid and Despair flashed in his memory. Looks like he wasn't ready to just trust a group of kids out of the blue yet.
Darian was snapped out of his thoughts as a person collided with him, causing him to drop his Digivice half from shock, half from mere exhaustion. The Digivice rattled on the ground for a second before coming to a halt face up on the ground. Darian, initially annoyed, was going to just pass up the person's apologies and be on his way, but then he noticed who it was.
One of the very same kids who he had been watching before just so happened to be the one to walk straight into him. Now this was just getting way to coincidental for Darian's liking. The boy was apologizing before he just so happened to notice the Digivice on the ground, asking if it was Darian's. Now he was just suspicious.
"It's fine." Darian stated as he bent over to pick up his D-Arc.
He took the brief time he had when he was picking up his Digivice to look at the door he was originally watching. Now the second girl was sitting outside of it, waiting for something. Could this have got any weirder? Returning to his full height, he pocketed the device before looking down at the boy in front of him. He didn't look like much, definitely not Japanese, but he didn't outright look evil or treacherous. Looking back at the girl quickly, she just looked more timid than anything.
Could these just be new tamers?
"Yeah. It's mine." he answered promptly.
Darian looked from the kid in front of him, to the girl in front of the door, and back to him. Darian smirked slightly, curious if he could get the kids to admit anything before Darian had to say anything himself. Pointing his finger at the room that Orina was sitting in front of, he raised a question towards Antonio.
"One kid outside, and one watching the door? You two hiding something?" he questioned with a small amount of an accusatory tone.
To some people this would look weird. A teenager accusing a younger one of hiding something. But for all they knew Darian could be an undercover cop just looking for info...or y'know...the second in command of DatS playing a bit of a joke.
Who knows?

As Antonio suspected, the digivice belonged to the guy he just bashed against. He seemed to notice something behind him, so Antonio turned to see what it was. Orina was now outside, which made Antonio's heart race. What was she doing? He told her to stay inside. Did something happen? "Just what is going on? If anything happens to Henrique.." he began whispering to himself, beforethe other boy asked him if they were hiding something. "Who? Us? No, we're not hiding anything! Why do you ask? I think s Orina over there must be just bored because I'm taking too long to come back. Well, off I go then..." Antonio quickly said, before turning and walking straight to Orina with a puzzled and worried look on his face. Meaningwhile, while Henriqie awaited inside with Kudamon. "So... Tell me. How did you decide you wanted a tamer?" He asked, not long after they were left alone.
(OOC: I was given permission to skip Kudamon.)

| Oh, crap, they were right there when she did that. Great job, Orina. Well, now she needed some sort of cover, right? She quickly thought through the possibilities before firing off the most reasonable that came to mind, looking concerned and maybe a little embarrassed while she was at it. "U-um, mister António...! Don't go in, um, they said that they, um..." she squeaked, drawing her voice lower so as to not (apparently) rat out the room's secret, "...that they, um, wanted a little... privacy..."
Orina didn't have anywhere near the gall to try to pretend that she had to lie so well that she needed to work up a blush, but she tried to bridge the gap in body language by bringing her hands up to her chest and scooching her butt closer to the door. "B-but, um, please don't go in yet! T-they'll kill me for sure..." she trailed off, hoping that the sympathy would be enough to scare the other tamer off.
Yeah, right. If he was a tamer, he would probably know that there was another here—or maybe other Digimon. How do these people have the super-senses they do? Orina couldn't keep up with crazy superhumans that tamed scary, transforming monsters...! Oh gosh, what if her lie was bad? What if the boy wanted to go in the room anyway? Oh gosh oh gosh, what could she possibly do...!
Wait. Yes, she had one idea. It was a stupid idea, but it might keep this tamer (who, as she had to remind herself, might have actually been very scary!!!) from trying to push past Orina and António both to get into the room.
"M-mister António, hold the door...!"
She had only one shot to get this to work, but if she could get to the front desk fast enough and warn of someone trying to get into their room that wasn't allowed, she might be able to defuse the situation! Of course, she could also make it miles worse by getting them to discover the contents of the room, but that wasn't as worrisome as this boy definitely discovering the contents of the room otherwise.
"I'll be right back!" she creaked, standing up to begin running over to the other end of the hallway. There was only one hitch in the plan: she totally didn't know what to do if the boy tried grabbing her or stopping her. Crap, intentionally acting as feminine as possible seriously had its disadvantages—and we all know that the most female of females are completely rendered useless once their upper arm is grabbed.

Well, that confirmed his suspicions. The only time anyone ever seemed that sketched out after a simple question was if they were hiding something. Antonio seemed to rattle off several different answers to Darian's previous question in order to form together a proper answer that didn't really work out for him. Course, these kids could be doing anything. They could be attempting privacy to lose a little innocence, doing some mad drugs, planning an assassination, or, oh right, hiding Digimon.
He sighed inwardly, was he really going to have to pull the DatS card?
Darian watched as Antonio turned on his heel and headed straight for the girl at the door. If Darian could have seen the kid's face he probably would've laughed, he remembered the days of hiding his own Digimon before he got a holosuit. It made being fourteen a lot harder.
He listened closely when Antonio returned to Orina all while approaching at a dauntingly slow pace. It seemed like Orina was explaining something to Antonio related to why he couldn't go in, he couldn't catch the near silent ending to it though. It was then that she attempted to assume some sort of..um..feminine defensive stance in front of the door. Hearing her, the word 'they' caught his ear. So there were other people and/or things in there!
Darian didn't really have many choices. He was almost sure of the fact that these kids were hiding Digimon but he couldn't exactly prove it. It's just..that Digivice was so close, and the curiosity was killing him now. It seemed like the only viable answer was that the kid's with the panicked expressions on their faces at the mention of hiding something, were hiding something.
It was then that Darian unfortunately had to cut some straws and stop this before it got out of hand because, of course, one of them decided to run. Usually, a child running wouldn't be anything too strange, but seeing her running down the hallway towards the main desk, that brought up a red flag in Darian's mind. He didn't really need to get arrested today.
Thinking fast, he dexterously grabbed his D-Arc from his pocket, clicking two buttons and suddenly a hallway sized Digital Gateway appeared right in front of Orina, and thankfully, just out of sight of the attendant in the main lobby. Had Darian's plan been to just let her run right through the portal, she would in less than a second. Fortunately for her (despite the portal being to the Village of Beginnings, aka: safest place in the Digital World anyway), Darian's other arm deftly reached up, his fingers hooking around the circumference of Orina's arm to stop her in her tracks. He was attempting some form of a gentle grip, but if any pain was felt, that would be determined by Orina's pain tolerance.
"Okay, no more running. I'm not here to hurt anybody." Darian attempted to explain as quickly as possible in order to limit any screaming.
Clicking another button on his D-Arc, the portal closed. Once again the hallway looked like any other hallway, though, any Digimon in the area would have definitely felt a power spike in the area, gateway's being the strongest form of portal usually resulted in a bit of a noticeable change in atmosphere for creatures like Digimon. All he needed was a temporary blockade and some slight proof that he knew about Digimon as well, he might have over exaggerated a bit but hey, it was pretty cool. Teenagers love cool right?
"Now this is a hunch, and you both might think I'm crazy but...this device in my hand detected another one close by, and you both were acting kind of suspicious so I suspected one of you." Darian explained, keeping a semi friendly tone in his voice.
He promptly let go of Orina's arm, offering a small, kinda pitiful, apologetic smile towards the girl. Of course he was now blocking the hallway from any runner's, but at least he wasn't holding her hostage. Damn, if Darian knew that he was going to be interrogating kids today he might've actually ate breakfast.
"So come on, let's get the truth out. We all know about Digimon here right?"

((Sorry for the delay.))
Kudamon raised an eyebrow to the question. Hmm, what was a proper response to the question... "When I decided I ought to have a tamer, you say? You should know that it is very dangerous in the Digital World, and I require a tamer to maintain as much strength as I am able! It's quite the privilege to be powerful in the Digital World, and I intend to capitalize on my knowledge to attain that privilege for myself." She huffed. "You're a very strange Digimon, so I don't know if you know it or not. Perhaps you are but a fledgling compared to the wonderful I, who am as amazing as the stars above!" She nodded to herself. "Speaking of which, what sort of Digimon are you supposed to―" She stopped, her ears perking up at the door. That wasn't just―anything normal, was it? Her expression turned from her normal pompous frown to a more serious expression, watching the door cautiously. "I think... I might hear a scuffle outside, Henrique. ...Do you suppose it's about time we ought to choose hiding places for ourselves? I, for one, don't believe it would be very... pleasing, if we were both sent back to the Digital World without much to show for it."

António wasn`t all that shocked. This guy was a tamer just like he suspected, thought the guy`s attitude to open a portal was weird. But a good kind of weird. António approached him. "Sorry about that. I knew you were a tamer, but I wasn`t sure if you belonged to DATS. But you opened that portal in the middle of what I assume is a public place, even if just for a short moment. A DATS agente would never do such a thing. So...you wanna go in?..." António whispered and then he remembered the way Orina was acting "Oh, right, the whole mess with Orina. Hey, Orina, what`s going on inside that place? I sure hope those two are ok..."
In the meantime, Henrique listened to Kudamon`s lousy explanation and pretended to enjoy it the best he could. He had to be polite, afterall. Then a strange feeling came, like drawing him to somewhere, but it was gone soon. Weird. Kudamon seemed to have realised something too and mentioned the possibility of them going back for the digital world and suggesting they found they`re own hidding places. "I`m sorry, but I simply can`t. Not that I don`t want to be able to hide, I just don`t fit anywhere. And about being sent back to the digital world, I must admitt that it is a scary perspective... my code sometimes has some errors and I go back to mister brainless even if I am in this form. It`s annoying to say the least. But the thought of being stuck that way forever..." Henrique replied and he shivered.

| Orina was too busy panicking to take care to observe her environment as she sprinted in the direction of the front desk—in fact, the very sensation of having been grabbed didn't quite register until she realized that her torso area wasn't following her feet forward. Something extremely huge and portal-like registered to her eyes only then, something Very Scary that might have been opened to teleport her into space or something! Orina struggled to kick her feet properly back into place so that she wouldn't have to force Darian to actually hold her up and stabilize her.
Okay, stable ground. Orina let out a weak, tiny squeal of fear at the giant portal before her, wondering if the boy intended to throw her in just now or maybe if that had even been real at all, actually. She was already going crazy during the first half of the day, maybe now she had confirmation that she had lost it!
But—he went on and said that he wasn't going to hurt anybody (read: her). Should she believe it...? He was the one with her arm in a grip (being light as it were). He could seriously hurt her or throw her into that gate if she didn't believe it? Oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no...
Wait. Device.
In his hand, he mentioned... a device! Wasn't that the thing that opened up that portal? Actually, didn't that make him kinda awesome? He had a device that could detect another device that told him that there might be another Digimon tamer nearby...
...Coooool!!
She wouldn't vocalize it, especially since she did want to keep up her cover of being a scared, helpless little middle school girl—and who knows how anybody here would react to her reacting in such a taken way. She really wanted to know what was going on inside those devices, that they would be able to summon so much energy at a set location without any sort of shockwaves from the sheer force of them... that they would be able to open up a dimensional gate, and so accurately just open and close it like no big deal!
Holy crap. Even if he was a little threatening, he also had some sort of power at his fingertips that she was struggling to barely wrap her mind around.
Oh, right. She was supposed to reply to his question, wasn't she? Get that thinky-center going, Orina. Do your job. "Um... I know about Digimon... from mister António and my, um... friend, named Kudamon." António seriously disapproved of the idea of Orina becoming Kudamon's tamer, but Orina didn't think that anything was going to happen between them, as far as actually being a tamer goes. If they didn't get a digivice by this point, it was probably not meant to be between them.
So what could she do, if she wasn't actually supposed to be a Digimon tamer and she wanted to learn more about these otherworldly creatures? Maybe just do her best to bluff being Kudamon's tamer for real. Maybe it was rude to do that, but she really, really wanted to learn more. This would have to be the way if nothing else came up to enable her.
Another thing she had already forgotten about was her paper-thin excuse about what was going on in thee room. Um, oops. "S-sorry about the... um... lie... I, um... n-nothing's happening inside, I just... thought he might have heard me trying to be secretive, and... think of it as something different. Um..." Yeah, that would do for an explanation. Not that she really intended it any differently than how she was explaining it. "I-if you two want to go inside ahead of me... t-that's not a problem. I'll stay back here so I can take the food when it arrives... um... so they don't see what's inside the room. I'm sorry for being so slow..."
One question did remain that she didn't voice. If he was supposed to be a tamer, judging by the digivice, where was his Digimon? Orina had a bit of a bad feeling about this... even if he proved himself to not be directly hostile just now, what was he capable of?
She really hoped that DATS wasn't as big a deal as António continuously tried making it out to be. |

(Sorry for the delay guys, was on vacation! Sorry for the crap post, need to work my muse back up again.)
Darian was relieved that the situation hadn't escalated past the grabbing and portal producing. Had he not put that portal in the precise place it was, either Orina would've ran straight through it, or the clerk at the front would've spotted it. Either way, that was a bad thing to happen and thankfully it didn't.
Also, thankfully for the children, they were both rather compliant with answering his questions. Orina was first to admit that she knew about Digimon. She mentioned learning about them from Antonio, who he assumed was the other kid with them, and also mentioned a Kudamon. Hmm, could that be her partnered Digimon, or just a lone Digimon roaming the area. Wouldn't the Digivice have pinged two devices in the area?
Antonio was next to reveal his knowledge of Digimon. Turns out the kid suspected him of being DATS. Really, how did this no older than sixteen year old kid already learn about DATS. Was he being hunted by them for doing something, or was information just getting around quicker than it used to? Darian just shrugged, as long as Antonio thought he wasn't DATS he was probably in the clear. Though he did wonder what would happen if they were to find out just who he was.
Pocketing the D-Arc once again, he looked down at the two children who both in there own way had invited him inside the room where the apparent Digimon were waiting. Well, it was good that he got in without having to argue or anything, he really wasn't in the mood to squabble with kids. Hearing Orina's explanation of why she'd wait outside, he motionined towards the door for Antonio to open it first.
"I'll come in behind you. I'd prefer not to take a face full of fireball because of a skittish Digimon seeing a new person. he explained, waiting behind the teenager with his hands now in his pockets.

(OOC: Sorry, all this time I thought it was Kudamon's turn. But I guess I was wrong.)
Orina had a quick at explaining why she was out. Indeed ordering food while Henrique was in rookie... It might bring trouble. Still, both Orina and this new guy agreed Antonio should go in first. "Ok, I'll go first then." He said turning to go into the room " Hey Henrique buddy..." "Yeah?" Henrique replied seeing his tamer approaching. "This is the other tamer, huh... Sorry I didn't get your name... Please, come in."Antonio said "Well, nice to meet you. My name is Henrique, and I`m António`s partner. I`d introduce her too, but I think she`d rather do it herself. It tends to take a bit." Henrique replied turning to Kudamon awaiting her introduction. "Anyway is everything Ok?" "Apart from a less welcome image in my head, I'm fine. Has the food arrived arledy or is Orina still out waiting for it?" "Good to know. No, it hasn`t arrived, she`s still waiting outside." "Well, anyways, where`s your partner? What kind of digimon is it?" Actually it was a good question. António looked at the other tamer, but didn`t see anything one could fit a digimon into. Was his digimon that small, or was it simply not there? Where could it be then?

Kudamon glanced to the door and cautiously watched as the noises died down behind it, preparing herself for some manner of battle. After all, it wasn't normal (or, at least, supposed to be normal―stupid humans) that loud, fighting-like noises happen just outside rooms meant for fun (was this a room meant for fun? There was a karaoke machine that Kudamon was able to identify from similar machines in the Digital World...). Kudamon held on to her cartridge, preparing to fling it to some other corner of the room in some last hopes of staying hidden, preparing herself for the door opening. The door was opening! Kudamon's gaze quickly darted around to find some good corner of the room to throw her cartridge, but quickly realized that the sound of the cartridge clattering would easily draw unwanted attention. Cursing her previous idea, Kudamon, thinking quickly, shoved the golden bullet into the couch as far as her paws could thrust it and quickly retreated into the furniture as the... introductions were going on? Wait. Kudamon poked her head out of the couch cushions, blinking and only then realizing that her cover wasn't blown enough that she would have to be sent back. She paused, then came back out of the cushions, clearing her throat. "Yes, I am Kuda―" She interrupted herself in surprise when she felt a firm tug on her tail. No, that wasn't a tug―her cartridge was stuck in the couch, and of course the fact that she was attached to it led her to feel the tug when it was really her tugging against the bullet. "...mon, one moment." She tried to pull and push the sides of the cushion to create an opening for her to release her cartridge, but much to her chagrin, she had lodged her metal shell quite far. She glanced over her shoulder, bemused. "...I'll get to you commoners in a moment!" she decreed, then returned to her rather-pitiful war with the couch.

Orina didn't seem to be following them into the room. Darian guessed she was probably going to continue covering for them, at least until the waitress had been dealt with. He just assumed that she would probably join them soon. Darian waited as Antonio made the first move, reopening the door and greeting someone named Henrique. Darian stepped slowly at first before picking up the speed to fully enter the room as Antonio attempted to introduce him.
"Yeah sorry, my name's Darian." he mentioned as Antonio implied requesting for his name.
Darian let a tired smile cross his lips as Henrique introduced himself. Through the smile though, Darian was analyzing the Digimon. He had seen a lot of Digimon in his years and strangely, this one was new. Was it possible for new species to be created or was Darian still on the path to discovering new species of Digimon every day? If new Digimon continued to arrive in his life he was going to need a Pokedex to track them all down soon enough.
So it seemed like this Henrique was Antonio's partner. At the mention of another Digimon, Darian glanced towards where Henrique was pointing. At first he didn't see anything but in a short second, a head popped out of the couch. When the Digimon finally emerged from beneath the cushions Darian was relieved to see that at least one of the Digimon in the room was one he recognized. He had seen a few other Kudamon in his travels.
He was going to say hello but the Kudamon paused during her introduction. Darian wasn't too sure what to say, though he did realize that the Digimon was stuck. Darian was about to offer his help but then she made a remark that she'd be getting to us 'commoners' in a moment. Wait what? Commoners!?
The hell?
Darian felt a vibration in his pocket coming from his cellphone. At the same time Henrique had asked about who his partner Digimon was. Now that he thought about it, he was surprised they hadn't asked earlier. Darian came strutting in acting like he knew so much about Digimon when in fact he could just be a member of some organization looking to kidnap children with creature addictions. Thank god for them right? Before answering he slid his phone out of his pocket, glancing at Gabe's message, smirking at the assumed aggression in the words on screen. He tapped his fingers along the screen a few times, replying with the location. He assumed Gabe would probably arrive soon enough.
Looking back at Henrique, he replied,
"My partner is in the city right now. He'll probably be around soon. I was just out for a walk. He's a Gabumon. Y'know, typical Garurumon, WereGarurumon, MetalGarurumon thing. Yeah, that's him."

So apperantly this guy`s name was Darian. Good to know. António began to search for Kudamon, who had seemingly hidden. He could get the idea, afterall they didn`t know who would walk into the room. Of course, she still could show herself after hearing it was him who was coming in.
Henrique had his attention elsewhere. He could clearly see that this Darian was analysing him, and he looked at himself, trying to see what was so weird in himself that a tamer would dedicate that effort to see or understand.
When Kudamon emerged from the couch, both Henrique and António had to resist the urge to laugth at the situation Kudamon was in. She was stuck in the couch. Stuck...in...the couch! Perhaps it would seem all that funny said, but seen, well, that was a completly different story. And funny one for that matter. Of course, António still felt like killing her upon her calling them "commoners" again. He turned to Darian.
"Please ignore her. Kudamon got into her head that she was superior to everyone for some random reason and now I`d nothing else gets in her head anymore." António told Darian.
"Hey, can I help?" Henrique asked Kudamon, worried they would no longer receive the help they needed.
Then Darian explained his partner was in the city, and that he was a Gabumon, a typical one. He gave a list of names, which was unifamiliar to both António and Henrique, so the first turned to the last, looking for answers.
"I think those are the evolucionary stages of his digimon, but I`m not sure." Henrique replied.
"Wait. That means you got to mega arledy! Wow, the last time we`ve seen megas, we..." António began but he silenced himself and looked down and so did Henrique. The last time they had seen Megas it was a bunch of Beelzemon`s killing a friend of their`s. And they only lived because the beelzemon`s "didn`t want to waste time with weaklings anymore.".
(OOC: Attention: this "didn`t want to waste time with weaklings anymore" is not spoken. I repeat, not spoken. No one says it in this post.)

Kudamon's face scrunched up in her struggle. "Yes, I get that idea because―hrrrrrngh―I do so happen to be a most excellent―hrrrrrrng!―example of my species―" Kudamon paused her struggle to put one paw on her hip (or what could be reasonably assumed to be a hip), point at the group, and give a pointed look at Anto and the newcomer who had come to gawk or something. "And nothing of what you say matters on the subject! And no, I do not need help from you or anyone thank you very much!" With that out of the way, she returned to pulling and yanking at her cartridge which was still firmly in the couch. This really was embarrassing, fake complex aside―she had no idea why she even decided to dive into the couch, but it was too late to fix it now. If her vocal chords weren't busy grunting with strain at her failure to free herself, she might have sighed. Suddenly, Kudamon felt the couch give. And then―
Kudamon are not Digimon which are associated with flying. They have no wings, and even though they might be able to keep off the ground if they held the cartridge which held them, they are not often spotted high up in the air. They're fox spirits, anyway; when they're born, they aren't looked at and assumed that, "That one will fly one day." The point is, Kudamon did not expect to fly. Yet she flew. Up she sailed, the force of her momentum from pulling the light cartridge up propelling her. Her gentlewomanly tone vanished as she wailed from surprise, flailing with what she had as the bullet took her with it, sailing up, up, up... and straight into the middle of the room. "..." Kudamon had to stop for a few moments, eyes wide in shock, before she quickly papped her cheeks and returned to her normal look of posh superiority. "...see? I didn't need help!" she huffed, before taking her bullet and putting it back on the couch, not in you stupid pile of twisted metal, crossing her arms and glowering at whoever cared to look at her after that feat of flight.

| A few minutes whittled by, during which Orina waffled through her thoughts concerning the four present, most of which Anto and Kudamon. She was being cut out of their conversation at the moment, which only bugged her in that she might have been missing out on interesting information that would be insufficiently summarized for her later. She shifted at the door, resisting the urge to press her ear against it. It might be rude to put her ears where they weren't expected, even if... well... it was sort of an odd circumstance that she was outside the door and not inside right now. Ohhh, she hoped she wasn't missing anything...
She heard the shuffling of clothing matching the tap-tap patterns of shoes and looked up to come face-to-face with an attendant bringing down a tray of tonkatsu and curry rice. Was it the food she had ordered, maybe? She had tried sitting down at Western-style restaurants before, and they were disorienting. Food was moving one way, servers were moving another, she got excited when a server passed near their table and moved on to another to deliver food that was, surprise, not theirs. But they must have been the only weirdos going out to a karaoke bar this early, right?
It seemed so, as the attendant came right up to her and gingerly bowed at the waist—halfway out of respect, halfway to offer the tray at an acceptable height for Orina. "Here you are: have a nice day, ma'am." She took it from the woman with a meek but courteous smile. "T-thank you. Um, you too, miss..." The woman uprighted herself, then turned and left just as elegantly as she had come.
...So she now had a tray with two meals on it, and had to find some way to get back into the room without creating a scene. Well, uh. Not a scene scene. She just didn't want to feel like she was being put on the spot by entering mid-conversation. Orina rubbed her thumbs along the sides of the tray, unsure. Would it be rude to just wait out here...? Kudamon might bite her if she came in late. Maybe she was already late? Oh no!
Initiate emergency maneuvers. Orina shifted the tray to be resting beside the door, cautious so that the door's swinging wouldn't knock anything off it it, and stood to knock at the door. "Food's here!" she chirped, but before she could be caught by anyone, she broke into a sprint for the nearest bathroom, leaving the tray unattended and the room unentered. No way she was going in there like this. She might have embarrassed herself! Hopefully the food could be a better icebreaker than her awful attempts at conversation... |

Darian wasn't particularly too sure how to react to this new conglomeration of people he was interacting with. Sure Darian had interacted with a ton of different people and Digimon of all shapes and sizes before, but, this was kind of a shock to find so many different people related to Digimon in the same place. He had the royal Kudamon, who seemed just a little too stuck up for Darian's tastes, just what was her problem anyways? There was Henrique and Antonio, the one's who seemed at least a little experienced with the subject, and finally there was....what was her name, Orina? He still didn't know anything at all about her really. Then of course you had Darian, the sleepless tamer minus his Digimon...
What a strange bunch.
Darian simply nodded towards Antonio at his statement to ignore the overly full of herself Kudamon. In all honesty if she had something to say to him he would reply to it, but judging by the fact that she hadn't really said much in his way yet, he wasn't expecting much. He waited as Henrique and Antonio processed what he had just said, judging by the looks on their faces they probably hadn't experienced anything past ultimate yet. Though, soon enough Antonio happened to figure out that Darian had in fact achieved the Mega level and also mentioned quickly about having seen a mega before.
He thought quickly, would it really be wise to reveal just how strong he really was to these kids? They knew about Mega level, a form that Darian had unlocked years ago. But did they have any knowledge on Mode Shifts or the strongest of all, Super Mega? Darian could access all of these forms, sans Super Mega, in two different ways. He hadn't actually heard of anybody else with a power like that. Were these kids (and Digimon) really ready to hear about the type of things you could do? After all, with knowledge can also come greed. Darian really didn't want to spur that in some children.
"Yeah, my partner and I have reached the Mega level. For three or four years we've been able to get that far actually. he explained, hoping not to dwell on it for too much longer.
Thankfully, Queen Kudamon was there to save the day. Darian's thoughts drifted away from him as he watched the Digimon fly from its hideaway in the couch to the middle of the room, a wail erupting from the tiny Digimon as it flew. Darian watched in slight awe as the usually flightless Digimon careened towards the ground. He chuckled afterwards as she quickly reaffirmed her statement that she didn't need any help in the first place. Gabe would enjoy this Kudamon, either through bickering or teasing, he just knew Gabe would enjoy this one.
Darian's attention again turned away from the situation at hand, to the door as a voice fluttered through the door announcing the arrival of food. Though, despite the fact that the tray was now present, he didn't see Orina anywhere. Now, he was pretty sure human's couldn't teleport...so just where did she go?
"Um, is her disappearing normal?" Darian questioned, a slight smirk crossing his lips as he spoke.
