"It's alright Mana-san, I'd rather hear about it now than find out later," Yamada reassured Mana. "Thank you very much Ayaka-san."
Yamada then heard something slam against that well. She looked over to her (presumably defeated) Digimon and gasped in shock. It was trying to gain back its balance from being knocked into a wall so hard, the poor thing looked really hurt. She needed to get it home and rest. Clearly Kat was not ready for battle. Yamada immediately went over and picked up the Digimon, with some difficulty as it kept squirming.
"Let me go!" Kat weakly demanded, "I can still beat him!"
"B-but..." Yamada began.
"NO! I need to get stronger and put that little puffball in his place!"
"You can't..."
"Don't tell me what I can and can't do. I know I can..."
"NO, I AM YOUR TAMER AND YOU WILL STOP!"
There was a stunned silence, Yamada had no idea where that came from, but she felt an overwhelming urge to keep Kat from battle. She did not want to see her hurt anymore. It was strange, almost like being with her and wanting to protect her made her more confident.
"...fine," Kat said, obviously not happy with this arrangement. She looked over to Dorumon, "This isn't over"
"I'm sorry about this Tatsuya-san, Mana-san" Yamada said, "But I think it might be for the best if we went home now. Kat and I need to rest. Sorry for causing you so much trouble."
"I do not need rest" Kat said under her breath.

"You are most welcome, Yamada-san" responded the little digimon as the fight ensued.
Obviously, Dorumon was stomping the little Nyaromon. Hard. That's what a level of difference usually did when a digimon fought against each other. It wasn't as showy as if it were to be a rookie vs as champion, but the difference was there nonetheless. And when she was soundly defeated and Yamada tried to calm her down, she began to talk again, in hopes of dissuade her from doing something stupid.
"That is how a fight usually ends when you try to pick ones you cannot win, Kat-chan. You were lucky today at having Simpletmon as your opponent, but take this in accout readily. Even in the Digital World there will be a lot of people who will immediately comply to having a fight agaisnt you, and not with the best of intentions. Data is data, they will say, as if to justify themselves, even if it is from a digimon who has yet to reach its childhood. May you learn to at least choose the fights you can choose wisely, otherwise you will just cause your tamer a good deal of grief".
Mana smiled at her partner's display of maturity, sans for the everchanging derogative to Dorumon, but that one was getting already, so she dealt with it.
"Aw, deep down you care for her, don't you?" Mana finally spoke up "Uh, Yamada-san, if you think Kat-chan's wounds are an issue, Ayaka can totally heal her up. Well, as long as she doesn't use her newly regained healed state to try and fight Notfoxysan-san again. Doing that the only thing she'll achieve is to be knocked unconscious by Ayaka herself. Anyway, what do you say? If you are in a hurry, I'll understand, though. We've been here for a pretty long while".

Tatsuya quirked an eyebrow as he saw the Nyaromon getting really hurt from Dorumon's attack. Although the Rookie Digimon smiled to himself, the Tamer was worried about the cat-like Digimon's well being, and thus, he started to approach Yamada. -Hey, is your partner OK? I'm sorry that I... -he started apologizing, but at that moment an argument between the new Tamer and her Digimon took place. The Nyaromon demanded to keep fighting Dorumon, but the girl tried to prevent that from happening.
-NO! I need to get stronger and put that little puffball in his place! -it had said, and then Ayaka entered the argument as well, to help calm her down. -That is how a fight usually ends when you try to pick ones you cannot win, Kat-chan. May you learn to at least choose the fights you can choose wisely, otherwise you will just cause your tamer a good deal of grief.
As she spoke, Dorumon advanced near Yamada and Kat, still ready to deal another blow if the In-Training dared jumping at him again. Keeping his guard up, he joined the conversation. -Listen to me, pussy cat. I care nothing for what you say. I've already told Gasbagmon here... I'm going to be strong, as strong as I can. Someday, I'll be completely free... Your threats mean nothing to me. If I wanted to, I could put you out of your misery right now, absorb your data, and be one step closer to my goal... But it would be against my beliefs to do it.
If I digivolved right now, it was to teach you something: learn to pick your fights, else you die. Gotta admit, never thought I'd agree with Dweebmon on anything. Guess there's a first time for everything.
After that, Yamada stated that she would need to get going, since they had been there for too long. -"Damn... I guess this is our fault" -the eighteen-year-old thought. -Hey, I'm sorry. I guess I should've known he would go harsh on her...

"I'd very much appreciate it if you would heal her Ayaka-san, Mana-san"Yamada said, holding out Kat for her to be healed. "Thank you very much for the advice, I hope Kat will take it to heart. We are going straight home as soon as she is healed."
Kat didn't say a word during Ayaka's lecture, mostly because she realized she was right (not that she'd ever admit it). She needed to pick fights she would be able to win, if she wanted to get stronger she needed to stat at the bottom and work her way up. Yamada of course was her ticket to strength. All she needed to do was convince her to let her battle and she could do the rest.
"I could've won that battle, I had a strategy and all rassa frassa" Kat mumbled to herself. She wanted to leap out and bite Ayaka, but the pain from he woulds was preventing her from doing so. She looked over at Dorumon and ginned.
"You say you want to be strong? Well you go and do that" She said, "And I'll keep getting stronger too, and one day we'll meet in battle again and you may find yourself on the losing end buster."
Kat knew that she'd show both these Digimon one day, when she was the strongest in the world and all the rest were looking up at her in awe. Yamada would be at her side of course, she'd need someone to act as her right hand woman. There had to be someone around to praise and shower affection on her.
Yamada meanwhile only wanted to get Kat healed and get home. Luckily her parents were still busy at work so there would be plenty of time for her to hide Kat. She wondered if she would be able to convince Kat not to fight everyone she came across. She doubted that would ever happen though.

"You don't have to thank us, Yamada-san! It's a pleasure to help you!"
Ayaka examined Kat's wounds a bit from her position with a expression that seemed more fit on a doctor than in a plant. "They are mostly superficial, miss Mana. Kodamon will be more than enough to treat Kat-chan's wounds" "Alright" the brunette girl said, holding her digivice.
As Mana's digivice emitted a pale white light towards the little water lily-onion hybrid, she began to transform into what could pass as a wood sprite in most books. Without much ceremony, her "hands" began to glow on a pale green light as she placed them on Nyaromon's injuries.
"Do not move or this won't be effective" she said as she worked, making sure to close all the small cuts and bruises that populated the Nyaromon's body "There, you are now as good as new. Hopefully your body will stay intact for more than fifteen minutes this time. You will not have me every time you get hurt, you know".
Mana, of course, smiled at Ayaka's comment "She doesn't mean it. If Kat gets injured ever again, just send us a message! We'll be really happy to help you out again". Now that Kat was healed, she wanted for Yamada to say that she was satisfied with Ayaka's treatment and for her to bid her goodbye before she went on her way.

Dorumon made a "tch" sound yet again when he heard Kat's threat on becoming stronger and making him lose one day. -Why the hell do you think I want to become the strongest, Kittymon? That way, I won't have to care about you, or any other Digimon that says the same as you! It's the only way to be free in a world where the weaker were simply permitted to live by the powerful ones! -he stated, seriously. He had already argued about that with Ayaka, and didn't want to repeat it again, so he prepared to ignore (or at least, try to ignore) the plant-like Digimon's following comment, which was to come for sure.
In order to try to lighten the mood up, the Kazan attempted to keep the conversation flowing, giving them something to talk about as they waited for Kat to be healed. He wasn't really sure wheter the girl would be mad at him, but it seemed so because she hadn't replied to any of his lines. As always, however, he wasn't concerned about it, not the slightest bit.
-So, Yamada, have you actually thought about how life is going to change with Kat by your side? I think it has been quite easy for me, since I live alone at the moment... but you'll have to get her past your parents, feed her, and take care of her, generaly speaking. For me it has been nice... well, sometimes he is a pain, but I have to say that Dorumon adds a special spark when we are home.
So, what is your plan? What are you thinking on doing with her? -he asked, quite curious. It was always nice to take a look the other Tamers' way of raising their partners, which usually differed from his idea, since well, they were no partners, but rather, what one would call an "association".

"Goodbye Ayaka-san, Mana-san, thank you very much for tending to Kat's wounds," Yamada called after the departing pair. "I'll be sure to message you!"
"Yeah thanks a lot," Kat said ubder her breath. She turned to Dorumon, "And as for YOU, I gotta say...I respect your goals dogboy. Heck I'd even say I'd admire them. I think you'd be just the mon to be my rival."
Yamada laughed awkwardly at Kat's words. She was feeling a little awkward being alone with Tatsuya, since he was older than her and a boy. It was easier for her to talk more openly to Mana since she was younger and a girl. That was probably why she avoided Tatsuya's questions, even if she felt horrible about being so rude to him.
"W-well I suppose it will be easy for me to hide her since she's so small. My parents work all day anyway" She said to Tasuya, "I don't eat much so I can give her my leftovers. What do you do when you go to school or go out with family? Do you bring him with you? Maybe she should stay at home while I...."
"Aw just let me roam free while you're out" Kat said, "I promise I won't get seen by anyone...well not intentionally. And I can get my own food."
"W-well..." Yamada began
"Or I could just come here with you," Kat said, "Just pretend I'm a stuffed toy and I can sniff out Digimon for us to fight."
Yamada sighed, "More fights?"
((OOC: Wow I didn't notice Yamada did not interact with Tatsuya that much. Hopefully the paragraph above gives an IC enough explanation. Anyway sorry about that))

OOC: Don't worry, it was a good effect, after all
As Ayaka and Mana left the scene, Yamada and Tatsuya found themselves alone, if the Digimon didn't count, of course. At that moment, Kat said something that made Dorumon quirk an eyebrow. So, in the end, she said that she respected him? His expression then relaxed slightly. -Rivals? Sorry, but that spot is taken. Still... I'm quite curious on how you'll grow. Afterwards, I'll gladly have the rematch with you -he said, softening up a bit as he remembered the other Dorumon. Yamada laughed a little at the conversation, and then she tried to speak herself, although her speech had become much more slow, as if she was embarrased. Maybe Mana's presence had helped avoid that all along, he thought. - W-well I suppose it will be easy for me to hide her since she's so small. My parents work all day anyway. I don't eat much so I can give her my leftovers. What do you do when you go to school or go out with family? Do you bring him with you? Maybe she should stay at home while I...Tatsuya spoke before Kat did. -Hey. You don't have to be nervous. I'm not gonna be different now that Mana's gone... Relax! -he said, warmly smiling in another attempt to calm her down. -Well, I kinda live by myself, so... It's easier. Though he insists on tagging along for everything -the indigo-eyed boy admitted, sighing. Afterwards, another conversation between Kat and her Tamer took place. Hearing it, Tatsuya couldn't help but to chuckle. -You two are going to be very good friends, you'll see. However... it should be time for me to leave. Principal should be angry by now... -Tatsuya started to make his leave, scrathing his head as he grinned with his eyes closed. Waving the girl goodbye, he degenerated Dorumon into Dorimon once more, and put it inside his backpack, exiting the area. [EXIT]

"I'll look forward to it", Kat said to Dorumon.
"Goodbye Tatsuya-san, thank you for your adivce" Yamada called after Tatsuya, feeling sorry that she hadn't talked to him more.
Both her and Kat were now left alone, they look at each other for a couple of minutes until Kat broke the silence.
"So are we going home or what?"
"Y-yes I suppose so..." Yamada said.
