Kotemon was half impressed by the outburst of determination... well, if it weren't for the fact it was over something as childish as candy. "What is this Candy thing you humans keep going on about? Duffer never let me have any candy. He said it was "too pricey" and "we needed to save our money for lunch." I doubt it could be THAT good." Kotemon was interrupted by the sudden appearance of a third party.
"...Wait, they do celebrate Halloween in the Digital World?" Duffer asked, relieved. "Thank god!" The boy got up and took off his mask, offering a hand to shake. "I'm Duffer. This is my partner Kotemon. Those two are our new friends, Troopmon and Hideki... why aren't you dressed up?" Kotemon facepalmed, wishing it still had its training sword at this moment. "Forgive my partner. He is mostly correct, though. I am Kotemon, his teacher. I am trying to form him into a proper being instead of a fat lump that sits and watches horror films all day and gets us in trouble with his human teachers. This is Troopmon, Hideki's companion. Others seem to have troubles understanding it. I don't. This is Hideki. If it wasn't for his name I would have assumed he and Duffer were related considering how they seem to act very similar."

"Candy is just.. the greatest thing ever. It's like happiness in a wrapper.." the boy's overly-dramatic side started to kick in when he heard another voice chime in. It wasn't Duffer or Kotemon, definitely not 'Captain Boherez' or whatever it was calling itself now.. but another human. “A haunted house? Thanks for the advice!” “Duffer, I am dressed u- Oh, you’re talking to the new guy.”
"N̨̕o͢͝͏ ą̀͜M̸ ͏͜͝N͞ơ͞T̷̷͝ ͞͞͠T̛R͘o̶͘O̧P̵͏͠Mò̶͠Ń a͟N6͞҉Y̸ ̢L͝͠o͏NG̷eR!̵́ M̕͟e͢͞ ̶a҉͜M̶͘͢ ̸̶̛TH̛E͏̛o͢P̸̴H͝҉̨à͟͞Ś̀͡T̴͢u̧͠͏S̷͏ ̢̧͡B͠o̷M͢B͏̛aST̵͜u͝S̵ V͜o̕͢͡N͟ ̕H̛o̡͘͝E̶͟͝N̢͘HEi͞͏Ḿ͟!̀͡ " the still unnamed Troopmon replied indignantly as no one acknowledged its absurd pseudonyms.
“Hey, we act nothing alike! I, personally, don’t really like horror movies," Hideki protested weakly. He didn't like the idea that Kotemon was already judging him, but the kendo-themed digimon did say that they cared for each other so maybe the comparison was a favorable one. "I’m more of a sci-fi and Saturday morning cartoon guy. Well, that and anime. Sometimes an American police show. Those and really most of the stuff on Netflix. Or reading. I know some really good books..”
"S̀̕Ţ̶͘͡͡ǫ̵̵̕P̵̀͟͠ ̶̧̧͏͢T̷̵̨ą̶͝Ĺ̢Ķ́͘͝͞!̧͝ ̷̨̧̀ ̷̷͏̢͢Ć̵̡̡͝a̸̸̶͝N̵̡͝͝D̵̢̢͟Ỳ͘!̸̵ C̵͏a҉̸̨͜Ǹ̕D̸̢͢Y̴̵͘͜ ̧̕͜҉̷Ç̷̀͟͟à̸̡͞N̶̢͡Ḑ̴͟͝Y̵͝͠ ̨̧̡͠C̵͞a̵N̕͝͡͞D̨̀̕͢Y͝ ͘҉C̢̡̕a̷N̴͡҉͠D̨̡Y̸͟!̛͟͜" The digimon interrupted his tamer to remind him of what's really important to the creature.. sugary treats. The mumbled words weren't the clearest to Hideki's human ears, but one word did managed to get hammered through the language barrier. Candy.
"Hey, I think I understood that last one! I'm learning!" But that wasn't what was important. "Thanks for the help, Mister... I don't think we got you guy's names. It's always a good thing to meet more people like us."

Daniel withdrew himself from his conversation with Guilmon to focus more on what was going on with the others, something that his partner took note of as Daniel's head turned away from him. His attention wasn't focused on the words that were being spoken but more on the appearance of Duffer and Kotemon. Who he couldn't help but feel like he knew, or had at least met once before. His arms folded tightly against his chest as he stared at them almost too intensely, only stopping when he finally remembered where he had met them before. The duo didn't seem to remember him and Guilmon much though, but with everything that could happen here that didn't surprise him. He only chuckled lightly when they introduced themselves to him for a second time, "We've met already Duffer, back in the desert. I was riding around on Guilmon's back, granted he was less of a Guilmon then...more of a Megadramon but you get the picture." he didn't say much else on the matter, but he did shake their hand. That was of course the respectful thing to do.
"I'm a little too old to be dressing up for Halloween, even if its in the Digital World. When you turn sixteen the world suddenly starts expecting a lot more from you yea know? But that is neither here nor there, I don't need to be dressed up to enjoy the holiday do I?" pretty long explanation for something that didn't matter, but he doubted they'd care to listen about how he disliked getting older. He chuckled listening to Kotemon babble about making Duffer into a proper tamer, something he had been going on about in their first encounter. If he was reading the aura amongst the two of them right Kotemon didn't feel as though he had made much progress towards that goal. Such an interesting little dynamic they had going, reminded him of something you'd see on TV. "You really should let Hideki and Troopmon introduce themselves Kotemon, it's a lot more respectful." he said his words a slight tease towards the creature, as if to poke fun at the fact he wasn't as well rounded himself.
"Either way it's a pleasure to meet you Hideki and Troopmon." Daniel gave a smile towards the set of tamer and a slight bow, something he had never done before and would likely never do again. Shortly after this the Troopmon began to speak mentioning something about candy but it was hard to tell, perhaps the Digimon had a speaking problem? He had certainly never run across anything like that before. Troopmon really wanted to get to that haunted house didn't he? "Oh right, I've not introduced myself yet I'm Daniel." he pointed a thumb towards Guilmon, "I'll let the big guy introduce himself."
"I'm Guilmon, Daniel's partner. the red lizard gave a wave of his giant red hand before letting it drop, "It's a pleasure to meet you guys."
"Now then shall we get going towards this spooky old house?" the thought of asking to tag along had slipped his mind at this point, it didn't seem like they would care either way. He began to move taking charge of the ragtag group of tamers and Digimon, and making his way east along the road. If he remembered correctly they only needed to go this way for a short amount of time before the came across the house. Hopefully those Impmon hadn't been lying to him, if they were...hopefully the group could handle whatever trouble they found themselves in.

"Ah right, back when I could sneak out of school and into the digital world without worries of detention." Duffer glared at Kotemon, who returned the favor. "Anyway, if you want let's go!" Duffer lead the pack, Kotemon following behind and shaking its head. "What's wrong with horror movies?" Duffer asked, Kotemon taking this opportunity to go ahead of him while he backed up to see Hideki. "Didn't you like Alien? Or Aliens? Or Jason X? Because guess what, THOSE were horror movies!" Duffer began. "Horror and Sci-Fi have always been hand-in-hand dude. 2001: A Space Odyssey, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Chopping Mall, and Silent Runnings? All horror movies, dude! Aliens, Mad Scientists, Robots, guess what movies have those? Without Horror, Sci-Fi would have always been a niche. Without Frankenstein, without all those aliens movies, without the fears of loneliness and the unknown Sci-Fi wouldn't have a leg to stand on."
While they discussed this, Kotemon continued leading until they finally reached the Haunted House. It certainly looked like one, at least. Run down, olden and creepy, a faded sign reading Haunted House out front, a couple of Impmon out front grinning devilishly, occasional weird noises and figures in the windows that seemed to vanish when you looked directly at them, disgusting smells, and a bored-looking Myotismon who stood out front with the Impmon all pointed to this being the place.

"Nice to meet you, Daniel and Guilmon. I'd offer to shake, but it looks like we're on our way. Guilmon's claws would probably shred me to pieces too.." Hideki spoke dismissively to the older tamer, but tried not to sound too rude. “Either way, it’s good to have you two along. But if anyone asks, you’re our chaperone. We can’t risk you guys dragging down our candy haul.”
"I'm not saying that I hate horror movies, Duffer. I'm just saying they're not my cup of tea. I'm not old enough to watch most of them, let alone stuff like Jason. Bro says I've gotta wait til I'm older, and I'm okay with that. There aren't many good horror movies with a PG-13 rating," the boy was very confused. Being 13, he wasn't supposed to be watching stuff like that.. how old was Duffer? Or did he just have cooler parents? "Wait, since when was Cool Runnings a horror movie? The one with the Jamaican bob-sledders?” Wow.. he really gets passionate about his movies..
“SO.. this the place? Seems really.. trope-y. Kind of like it just stepped out of a Scooby Doo episode.." Hideki was taken aback at the sheer.. stereotypical tongue-in-cheek nature of the building. "..or the discount bin at a Halloween shop. I mean, the 'Haunted House' sign kind of sells it, though." It didn't even look like a house.. more like some kind of prop for a bad movie. But the kids weren't the only one there. Two purple-wearing, small digimon, roughly a head shorter than Troopmon stood at the front gate laughing with what appeared to be a vampire. "Hey, it looks like more Trick or Treaters! They even have a chaperone. Hey guys, what's so funny?" He knew they were digimon, but they looked like kids like Troopmon and Kotemon. They can't be too different, right?

A light laugh escaped from Daniel's lips when Hideki spoke of Guilmon's claws ripping him to shreds, probably not something he should have been laughing about. He only did because he knew Guilmon wouldn't do anything like that, he was pretty good at shaking hands with humans. So far he had a perfect record. "Shredding is the least of your worries when it comes to Guilmon, he's more likely to kill you with bad jokes than anything else." his smile grew as his hands moved to behind his neck. The little quip about Guilmon's sense of humour caused his partner to nudge at him lightly.
"They're not that bad." he assured Hideki, he didn't need Daniel giving him a bad reputation with these guys already. They had just met after all! The last thing he wanted was for them to think of him as some kind of prune who lacked a sense of humour.
"Chaperone huh? I guess that makes sense, but you should know as your chaperone I'm going to be demanding at least forty pieces of candy." the smile on Daniel's face turned into a teasing grin as his amber eyes locked with Hideki's own eyes. Despite the tone of his voice being one of a light and joking nature the look in his eyes was a rather serious one, but it quickly faded when he started to chuckle. "I'm just messing, no need for any kind of payment." he had probably given the kid a little bit of scare there, but hopefully his words helped ease his mind. Daniel wasn't interested in candy just going through the haunted house would be enough for him. Guilmon on the other hand? He might want a share of the candy.
When Duffer and Hideki began to talk about movies Daniel withdrew himself from the conversation to be alone with his thoughts. It wasn't really like him to be so quiet when in groups like this, but he couldn't help it. He had a lot going through his mind right now, it had been quite sometime since his last trip into the Digital World mostly because he had almost lost his life at the hands of a ChaosDukemon. The other half was because he found himself with far less time for the Digital World lately, real life just kept getting in the way. Once school was over he'd probably have more to time handle his job with DATS and help with Vexes.
The blonde finally zoned himself back when they arrived at the house and took notice of the Digimon at the entrance. Two Impmon, the ones who had told them about the place and a Myotismon. Myotismon was an Ultimate Level digimon if he remembered correctly. Could prove troublesome if this all turned out to be a scam. Daniel turned his head towards Hideki when the youth spoke, "I don't think they're Trick or Treaters. The two smaller Digimon, Impmon as they're called. Were the ones to tell me about the place, the large vampire looking Digimon, Myotismon, must be there boss." Daniel placed his arms inside of his pockets and approached the trio of Digimon. Guilmon following closely behind him. "Howdy! Me and my friends here were wondering if we could partake in your haunted house." he spoke to the Myotismon, he had to be in charge after all.
The creature of the night turned his attention towards Daniel and let a devilish grin pass across his face, "Welcome!" he peeked his eyes behind Daniel to stare at Hideki and Duffer, "Of course! You are welcome to take a stroll through my house, but...there is a catch." his eyes shifted towards the Digimon accompanying the group. "You must leave your partners at the door. Wouldn't want them...ruining the fun now would we?"
Guilmon was the first to speak against this, "Unlikely. The second they do is the second you and your goons do something dastardly."
The Myotismon put a hand to his chest and made it appear as though he was wounded, "I would never! We have a reputation to uphold, and frankly I'm ashamed you'd even suggest such a thing."
"Mind if we talk this over?"
"Dan! You can't really be thinking of-"
"Relax, we're just going to see what everyone else thinks."
"Of course, take your time."
Daniel moved away from the virus trio and motioned for Duffer and Hideki to follow him, once they were good enough distance away he crossed his arms. "So what do you think we should do?"

"No dude, it's Silent Runnings, about this guy with a couple of robots who kills a bunch of people because they want to destroy the last forest in the world. He'd spent five years with them and then he attacks one of them with a shovel and kills the other two in an explosion. Then the rest of the movie he's alone with these robots as his only companions. When one of those die he doesn't really care and just uses it to teach the other two not to screw up. There's this really effed up scene where he has the robots bury his victim in a shallow gra-" Duffer stopped as Kotemon pointed out the place to them. Naturally, the troperiffic location was enough to put Duffer on edge, hiding behind Hideki as they approached the group of Digimon. As Hideki walked over to the two Duffer retreated into hiding behind Kotemon for protection. "Are they supposed to be evil looking?" Kotemon rolled its eyes. "Relax Duffer, they're just virus-types. They may look intimidating, and most of them are for a reason, but considering how these three are out in the open it'd be foolhardy of them to try anything."
Duffer and Kotemon end up both in the huddle, the mon believing its opinion was worth just as much, if not more, than its tamer's. "Well..." Duffer looked at Myotismon and shuddered. "Maybe we should wait and see if anyone else comes out of the place? Or ask them if they've had any other customers? I mean, I-I'd hate to be seen as some kinda digi-racist... B-besides, the no Digimon rule m-makes sense because he doesn't want the place ruined? I brought Kotemon to the Arcade once and he nearly destroyed the Whack-A-Mole machine with his training sword..."
Kotemon shook its head. "Duffer needs constant attention and supervision. He may not look it but he's easily frightened and likely to run off at the first sign of danger. Without me here to keep him from fleeing he's likely to leave you two to die." "N-nuh-uh. In horror movies the first guy to leave the group ALWAYS dies. I'm not doing that! It's going to be me with these two, u-unless they both die... th-then I'd run away..." Duffer went to whispering to himself about game-plans he'd made to survive these scenarios since he first saw Scream.

"So.. it's.. kind of like Ferngully with robots and murder? Sounds kind of like a grimdark Pom Poko.. with robots and murder." Hideki's brow wrinkled in confusion. "Wait.. shallow graves? That's kind of really hardcore. I may have to check this one out."
Before the conversion was complete, the be-goggled child overheard the newcomer digimon say something about having to split the group up. "Leave our digimon behind? That's crazy! I don’t want to have fun without my best friend." Turning to the digital trio, the boy pleaded. "Wait.. you guys are virus types? Troopmon is a virus too, and it really wants candy!"
"We’re giving you guys the benefit of the doubt, can’t you do the same?” The boy begged with his biggest puppy-dog eyes. “How about if I just leave my digivice with one of these guys? It’s not like we can do any damage without it.. and I promise that we'll be on our best behavior! Please Mr. Myotismon? PLEASE?”
The boy really didn’t want to leave his best friend behind and tag along with two strangers, regardless of their digimon-having-status. It was Troopmon's first holiday, and Hideki wouldn't let something like racist vampires keep them down! He turned to his new companions to address them.
“I mean, you guys seem nice and all, but I can’t go trick or treating without my best friend. I’m sorry, but this is our first Halloween as a team, and as a team, we are.. how did that digimon say it?" He remembered meeting with this leafy-headed dame a while back in a park.. it couldn't have been more than a week ago.. maybe two. Either way, he'd gotten the gist of it. Digimon + People = Partners. "Bound by destiny? Something like that. Regardless, if he can't come, I'm not going either. I'm sorry, guys."

(D-d-d-double post! Sorry about this, guys, but it's been almost a week since the last post and I REALLY don't want this thread to die on us.)
"Hm.. alright child, you've moved my black heart. You all may take your digimon, if you abide by two rules." The vampire held out a gloved hand and counted off its stipulations as it said them aloud. "One, you must absolutely swear that you will cause no trouble. This will require the most solemn of oaths. Two, you must leave your digivices with either me or my two associates here. It's not that I don't trust you, but some of our house's inhabitants have had.. unfortunate run-ins with humans before and I would really appreciate it if they didn't have to relive any of those traumatic experiences."
The bloodsucker smiled at the wide-eyed cowboy-looking boy. "So, do we have a deal or not? If one of you wishes not to comply, you can just stay here. I'm not going anywhere and I'm actually a fairly good conversationalist."
Hideki glanced back as his compatriots before nodding at the very tall, very menacing digimon. He placed something in the monster's hand, something blue and red and very.. digivice-y. It was a digivice, his digivice. "I'll do it. Come on Troopmon, let's get all the candy before Duffer can get his mitts on it!"
The two went running up the path with their bags in hand, laughing the whole time. An impmon followed them up the path, struggling to keep up. "Hey guys, slow down! Ya' don't wanna' trip and get hurt before ya' even get up to the house!"

Duffer frowned and was spurned forwards by Hideki's challenge. Grabbing Kotemon's sleeve and giving Myotismon the Digivice, he followed suit. "Hey! Don't take it all for yourself!" Watching the two kids enter, Myotismon chuckled happily.
"I remember when my Tamer was young and excitable like that..." The Myotismon chuckled, tossing the digivices aside and one of the Impmon scrambling to catch them in a box. "It was so long ago... How old is he now?" "Thirty, boss..." "Bah, he's hardly an adult in that case. I can live hundreds of thousands of years, he's hardly a toddler at his age..." "Right boss..."
While that pointless bit of banter happened, Hideki and Duffer would find themselves in a dark hallway in the manor. Creaks and groans surrounded them in this haunted domain as a couple of flashlights lay on the floor for their use. Kotemon, naturally, grabbed one first. "Well, I hope you two are pleased with yourselves. You not only fell for an obvious trap but you dragged us along with it.

"You know what, Duffer? I kind of regret coming in here.." Hideki said has he picked the other flashlight off the ground. "I may have, in my haste, made a mistake.. but you know what? We're already in here and if there IS candy, we're totally going to be the only kids who get any."
Troopmon clapped at the idea of getting the sugary confections as its eyes glowed a menacing red in the dark. "Come on dude, that's a little creepy.. Can you stop that?" The troopmon slapped at its head a couple of times, alternating the colors of its optics from red to yellow, to a baleful green, to finally reaching a nice calming periwinkle blue.
"Huh.. I didn't know you could do that," Hideki commented as the creature shrugged a response. "Alright guys, you ready to do this?"
Deeper inside the haunted house, things weren't running so smoothly its ghoulish operators. Many digimon had skipped out for the night, hoping to rummage up some trouble elsewhere, or had simply grown bored and fallen asleep. One of which, a one-eyed Blackgarurumon, had apparently been assisted by a mind-altering beverage and now lay unconscious on the floor of the staff lounge. Linus, a Pumpkinmon in charge of making sure everything was running smoothy, was currently having a panic attack in said lounge.
"Come on Frank, you couldn't have forgotten your lines already! We just went over them!" He sat with a Boltmon who was inexplicably dressed in a really bad ghost costume. Upon closer inspection, it may have actually been a bed sheet with eye holes cut in it. "Come on buddy, repeat after me.. 'Boo!'"
"UUUUH!" the creature tried to mimic, failing miserably.
"You know what? Forget it." Linus said with a sigh. "You'll be a great ghost. Get out there, ya lummox. Has anyone seen my kid? I could have sworn he was right here."
Making their way slightly deeper into the house, the children entered a dark room with creaking floorboards. It was sparsely decorated, with nothing but a table with an oil lamp, a soft, ornate chair in the corner, and a large brick fireplace. It also appeared to be completely uninhabited... until they entered the room fully when the door slammed shut! Standing behind the once-ajar portcullis was.. what appeared to be a very confused coat rack wearing large, skull-buckled shoes. "UUUUH", the coat rack groaned.
"AAAaaah! A ghost!" Hideki leapt backwards, bumping into a table and knocking over an oil lamp, lighting a very small fire.
"UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH! FIRE! BAD!" The ghostly coat rack screamed.
Somewhere in the distance, a terrifying, growling breathing echoed through the halls.

Duffer and Kotemon stared at Troopmon, Duffer in confusion, Kotemon in a moderate level of respect. "Nicely done Troopmon." The mon said, patting it on the back. Kotemon nodded. "May as well."
Duffer nodded, hiding behind Kotemon slightly. "Y-yeah... a little... I-I think we should leave as soon as possible..." The moment the "ghost" lept out Duffer lost his composure and started panicking. Thankfully, Duffer's survival instinct proved stronger than his fear reflex and he quickly tried stomping out the fire. While this happened a small botamon slept in the cracks of the wall, awoken by the shouting and panicking, the little thing yawned, making a ghostly moan echo through the house as it moved through the house, leading to Duffer freaking out and falling onto the flame, burning himself but thankfully smothering the flame at the same time. Kotemon, sighing, helped Duffer back up and looked him over. Naturally, the boy was in tears because of the pain. Kotemon sighed and let Duffer cry into the mon's side, patting him on the back.
"It's OK Duffer... You're safe... it's just someone in a costume... we'll get some cream on that injury and you'll get some candy..." The boy kept crying as Kotemon kept being seemingly unnaturally kind. Turning to Boltmon, the digimon smiled. "Sorry about that, my partner's jumpy... but you owe him for putting out the fire. Do you have a first aid kit we could borrow?"

"UH. ME AM SORRY." the Boltmon replied as it shuffled off into the darkness. "ME AM GET HELPS. ME AM GET MUCH HELPS!" The heavy thudding of the beasts heavy feet continued for a few moments before there was a loud crash in the distance.
Hideki was just very confused. “Duffer? Is this.. normal behavior for a ghost? Or was that a Frankenstein? Thanks for putting out the fire, by the way. Quick thinkin.” He tried to ignore his friend’s tears. “Oh man, I remember this one time I burnt my hand on.." Maybe that wan't the best story to tell everyone else. "Um.. I heard that if you get burnt, to run cold water over it, but I don’t know if there’s a bathroom around here. I’ll go look for one, that’s what I’ll do!”
Hideki ran in the same direction as the Boltmon, shouting for Troopmon to stay behind. He didn’t want the trouble-making digimon messing anything else up. But, as soon as Hideki was out of sight, Troopmon turned away from the group. There was a quick “twip”, like someone opening a zipper, and suddenly the digimon shoved one of its hands into its chest. Pulling out what appeared to be a vanilla Ice-cream sandwich, he held it out the prone child.
"̛͝F̵̛͟ó͏̡R҉ ̸́D͟ú̧FF̷̶̛e̸̛R̵͝-̡S̸̴̷a҉N͏͜>>͘ ͟Hę̵ ͏S̡a̷V͜͝͞e T̀҉R̕͜͡oO҉̶͏P͏́͡M͘oN̷͘ ̕aN͏҉͏Ḑ̵ ̶͝H̷͘i̛͢D̷̴́e̢K̕i͘͞ ̵̨F҉͟͟RoM͟͢ ̶̛͡F̵i̴R̵̡E."̶̕ Troopmon's blank, emotionless mask couldn't convey any emotion, but it did its best to express gratitude. "H̸͜i̴̷M̴̛̛ ̨V͟eR̢Y ̸̕B͏R͝͞͏ą͡V̨̛e̶̢͏!"
In the mean time, Hideki had apparently found the bathroom. Dirty porcelain tiles covered the walls and floor.. the sinks were mostly broken and cracked. But there was one that still looked like it could work! Retrieving an empty bottle from his pocket, he began to refill it.. when a creaking noise came from behind him. Turning slowly, Hideki came face-to-face with a gigantic cockroach! Needless to say, he screamed.

Duffer was still crying, but Hideki's kind words and attempts at conversation were nice of him, even if the boy was too busy crying to hear them. Kotemon gave Hideki a look of approval, showing it was growing more and more approving of the two, simple as they were. As the Boltmon and Hideki ran off the Botamon in the floorboards continued to try and scare those present. Turning to Troopmon, Kotemon looked confused at the non-melted ice cream sandwich. "...How long has that been in there?" The mon asked, taking it and offering it to the tamer. Before Duffer could relax and take the ice cream, Hideki's scream shot through the darkness and startled both of them. Kotemon quickly shifted Duffer over to Troopmon. "Here, keep him safe, I need to go see what caused that." With that the mon ran off to approach the bathroom, blinking and relaxing at the sight of a giant roach. "Oh, oh... you had me worried..."
Meanwhile, Duffer and Troopmon would be subjected to a cheap scare. A guy in a ghost costume floated down a staircase towards them, trying to haunt them.

Post by Hideki on Nov 5, 2014 15:39:50 GMT
Truth be told, Troopmon had no idea how long the sandwich had been in there. He hadn’t had proper ice cream since the day the two had fallen into the digital world. He just remembered cornering the ice cream guy in a corner… the man throwing food at him… and then not much afterwards. He was probably full of ice cream at this point, though. The fact that it was still cold didn’t seem to bother him, though. Troopmon didn’t understand the concept that cold things get warm and warm things get cold. Wouldn’t they both get cold? Further proof that ice cream is the perfect food.
Now holding the crying child, Troopmon cooed like a pigeon at the boy and staring at the burnt foot. Fire is hot.. hot stuff hurt troopmon. Ice cream not hot.. so… "H̶́eR̴̀E͏ ҉Y҉͘ó͢͠U G͏҉o͜ ̧͝D͜u̧F͠͝͞F̨e͠R!̧҉" the digimon's out-of-focus, staticy voice said excitedly as it rubbed cold ice cream on Duffer's burnt foot. After all, Kotemon HAD said that they needed cream to treat the injury. Troopmon felt good. Troopmon was helping.
"I am so, so sorry ma'am. I didn't realize this was the ladies room." Hideki was apologizing profusely to the Roachmon and nursing a nice red welt on the side of his face from a fresh slap. It was at this moment that Kotemon entered the room. "Oh Kotemon! Hey! Um.." the boy grabbed a paper cup off of the floor and filled it with brown water from the sink. "I've got some water now let's go! Quickly.."
