Swept away by the dingy, stinky water of the once-river, Hideki found himself tumbling through the refuse of an entire city. There were plastic bottles, discarded foodstuffs, and even pieces of discarded electrical equipment bouncing around in the tumultuous tides of the Shibuya "river".
"I'm going to die for real this time! I don't want to die a- WHAM!" The boy's thought was interrupted by what felt to be a microwave oven flying past and nailing him on the head. His vision was starting to fade to black, be it from lack of oxygen from his choked, watery breaths or his oncoming concussion he didn't know.. but in that moment he saw a bright light.
Chikurimon's goggled optics were designed for the water. After all, it was a aquatic mine type digimon, made to float in waters just like these. Well, not just like these. Much slower waters, less garbage, more explosions.. but that wasn't the point. The point is that it moved in water just as well as on land.. which means that the tiny digimon moved in small bursts of speed punctuated by multiple high speed collisions. Not that it noticed them, being made of extremely hard, sterling silver digizoid. Or rather, it didn't notice most of them. The creature totally noticed when it knocked its tamer unconscious. "W̶͡h̷̸̨ơ̶o͜p̕̕͝si̷ȩ͢͝..."
But then something strange happened.. Chikurimon felt a tingle all over its.. well, everything. Which isn't much, pretty much just a head/body and a couple of spines. Suddenly spines became arms, spines became legs, and the in-training's head/body became separate. Chikurimon was then TROOPMON!
Unfortunately, Troopmon was not a water mine type digimon. It found swimming far harder... so it grabbed its friend and hoped for a little divine intervention.

Ann had to face it: Jumping into trash river filled with every waste known to man was NOT the worst thing she or Treat had ever done. Yet nobody would ever convince her that it wasn't the most disgusting one.
Getting pulled by the portal Treat and his partner felt this...lack of weight. Like gravity wasn't even real anymore. As the reality began to change around them into this large, number filled tunnel that they passing through at enormous speeds, Ann hugged Treat and hold him tightly due to the fear of what might be on the other side of the portal.
Yet, as they left the portal, they were presented with a familiar landscape: the mainframe hills from the digital world. Ahead, the sunset was undergoing the final moments of that day in the digital world. Ann wondered if they had spent that much time in the portal or the time simply went differently in the digital world and she asked Treat, her partner, that very same question.
"Well, I'd say the time here goes slower than in he human world." Treat said. "I wonder where Hideki and his partner are, I mean they fell on the river before us, but THAT much before us."
"I don't know, but I'm sure they're fine. " Ann replied. The day went dark at the moment as the sun had now hidden completly. "Maybe we should be thinking in setting a camp for tonight."

Being bathed in that familiar light of the Digital World was a harrowing experience for the then-baby. It had left the world behind only a little while ago, but it remembered his hard, short life before arriving on Earth. Living in refuse piles in the city, just getting food everyday was a battle. So, it just kind of sat in trash cans and dumpsters occasionally eating cast-offs from bigger, less needy digimon. Trash cans like the one the newly-christened Troopmon found itself and its best friend Hideki in now. The boy was still unconscious from an “unexplained” bump to the head when they arrived in Troopmon’s homeland. The creature pulled him from the refuse bin, which was strangely in the middle of a large rolling meadow.. Or rather, it would be strange in the human world; nothing is too weird for a land where the laws of physics were more like guidelines. The last light of digital day was fading with the simulated sunset as the digimon pondered what had happened. Not being the brightest bulb on the tree, the rookie still remembered leaving its home-place early that morning.. which means they had been unconscious most of the day! Either that or portals weren’t as quick as it had always been told.. or there was something sinister afoot. "H̡͝i͜D̢E͟Ki̴̸̢ ̡̀Ẁ̷aK̨͝E ̶͞U̧͏P͢!!̷̢͜! ̛͟H̵̨i̵͜D͠E̡͜K̶͢i! ̶̨Ḑ̶o҉N̴̶͡'͏T̶͠ ̶̢B҉̴E̶͢͏ ͝͠H҉҉Á́͜V͘iN͢͏G͞ ͟͠D̶̷i͞E̛!̶̛ ̵͘̕S̀͢T͘o̶̡͝P ͢Di͏E! ̶͘͘T͏̡R͢҉̵ơ͏̨Ó͘͢PM̶̶͟o̵̡͝N N͜o̵ ͝W̴͘҉A͢͠Ǹ̸T̨ ̢͠͞e̶A̶̶̷T̴̀͝ ̷͜Y̨̕o̵͠U̢ ̛͝B̡̛u͘̕͝T̵͡͝T͞ Ẁ͏i͘Ļ͏L̨!͝҉ " the digimon slapped the human's face with all the force its slippery hands could muster, but just kind of bounced off like wet water balloons. The impact of cold, slippery limbs jarred the boy awake, though. "Woah, what's going on? Who are you? Why are you slapping me? OH NO!" The boy instinctively reached for his pocket.. which wasn't there. His clothes were different than when he entered the water. Dinosaur pajamas had become a blue jacket and shorts, some tennis shoes, a pair of strangely-dry socks, and what appeared to be a pair of goggles. There was a familiar heft in one of his jacket pockets and he quick-drew his digivice. TROOPMON. VIRUS. UNDEAD TYPE. Digivolves from CHIKURIMON.
"Wait.. that's you Chikurimon? Why are you so scary looking now?" The boy remembered being told that Chikurimon would go through a change soon, stabilizing or something like that.. but he wasn't expecting a zombie in a gas mask! COOL!

Ann and Treat observed the landscape, the beauty of the sight could be compared to the greatest wonders of the human world. Above the stars shined brightly, as if they were blinking eyes looking down to watch over them while the grass took the nigh in and the rivers reflected the full moon. The last Ann and Treat had been there, in the mainframe hills, Treat had evolved into his rookie form for the first time. A little before Ann had met Takeda a friendly spirit wielder with a "burning" courage. Good times, good memories as Ann's brother would say.
Of course both Ann and Treat were beggining to worry. Treat had git some wood for the campfire arledy, yet there still was no sign of Hideki or his partner. Maybe they managed to get out of the river without going through the portal. Maybe the portal took them somewhere else. Maybe...they drowned?
"Treat do you think that Hideki..." Ann began.
"Don't think about it my princess." Treat advised, as if he had read her mind. That's when they heard this sound behind them. They turned , but saw nothing unnusual but some garbage here and there, including an old trash can in the distance. Yet, something called Ann's eye. It seemed like...a human? Wearing Hideki's pijamas? That ment...
"I think that's Hideki Treat. I'm going there." Ann stated.
"Well, I'll get some more wood then, just don't stay away from the campfire for too long, okay Ann?" Treat replied.
"Okay, ok." Ann said before beggining to race to Hideki.
"Hi Hideki!" Ann greeted the boy again , reaching her hand out to him to help the boy up "Are you ok? Wow, those are some funny pijamas..."
Meaningwhile, Treat gathered some wood around, nothing to special, just a few sticks and some trash to keep the fire burning for a few hours. He returned with the contents in his mouth, worried. Ann had gone to in the dark, to find a tamer with lower than rookie digimon. What if something attacked them and he wasn't there to protect her in time? He'd never forgive himself.

(OOC: But.. but.. Please re-read my post, Ann. There are quite a few places where you didn't remember what I wrote, but it's okay. I'll find a way to roll with it. This is a plot thread for me, so I'd really like some teamwork here. If you need any help with post comprehension, please just PM me and I can explain)
Hideki lay on the wet grass, now even wetter from being pummeled by slippery rubber slaps. He looked at his digimon incredulously. “So.. what am I supposed to call you now? Troopmon? Wait.. the river. I fell in.. did you save me? Thank y-" the boy's heartfelt thanks was replaced by rampant coughing and water.. lots of water, coming from his mouth. "Huh.. you'd think that should have happened before I could talk."
There was something strange going on here.. things happening out of order, time moving strangely.. and there didn't seem to be any other life on the plains.. well, almost none. In the distance, there was a flicker of a fire.. a campfire. It was far enough away, but there appeared to be people around it! "Troopmon, it looks like there are people over there! Maybe they have a phone or something.. considering what's happened, it might be about time to try and get a hold of Kenichi."
The two, digimon and tamer approached the distant flickering of Ann's campfire, partially obscured by sparse underbrush. There were trees here and there, an occasional bush, but luckily the two were upwind from the lady and her canid digimon.
"Why.. hello there," the totally-human boy spoke as he grabbed Ann's hand. "Am I okay? What a strange question to ask.. I've never been better." There was something.. different about the tamer's voice. It was calm and collected, barely speaking above a whisper. "A nice campfire sounds like a good idea.. it could be dangerous to sit out here in the middle of the night."
The boy and his digimon accompanied the girl back to her campsite, sitting around the fire. Neither Hideki or Troopmon spoke much, except for the occasional glance off into the distance. The boy had this strange, unhinged smirk across his face, like there was a funny joke stuck in his head. It only added to the strangeness of a dirty, pale boy in a Dinosaur kigurumi. "Say, I don't think I remember your name, girl. Could you remind me?"
"Huh.. that outfit looks familiar. Oh hey, it's Ann. Troopmon, it's that girl from earlier!" The two approached, chewing on some kind of apple that Troopmon had discovered. For some reason, they tasted like meat of various kinds.. it was probably the toxic waste messing with his brain, Hideki had reasoned.. a troubling thought to say the least. "Wait a second.." THAT'S ME! Well.. not me.. but someone that definitely looks exactly like me!
Troopmon had crouched in a bush, pulling Hideki with him. The rookie's eyes had taken on a definite glow.. a bright red signifying danger. "S͡T͘͘aY ̸D̷ǫ̨͘W̨N͏̧ ́́H̕͏́i͘͠D̀ę͝K̵̕͡i̢.̸̷̨"
(OOC: I'll write for Both Hidekis, don't worry about it. I'm setting something up for a surprise.)

Ann examined the so-called Hideki. He seemed a bit different, in voice, attitude...just overall creepy now. Even with the weird dinossaur pijamas on. Ann smiled forcefuly.
"Lets go then!" She told "Hideki"."My name is Ann."
Meaningwhile, Treat was returning to the campfire when he saw two shadows nearby it. Could they be Ann and Hideki? Or where they two menacing digimon? Carefully, Treat approached carefully, reajy to do what was necessary. Yet, as he approached it became apparent who the two figures were.
"Hi Hideki! Why are you hiding in that bush? Congratulations on your digimon's evolution, it..." Treat called out, before remembering something. A look of horror crossed his face. "Wait, if you're there..."
Treat turned worried, yet he was really confused by what he saw next: Ann was arriving with...another Hideki? How was that possible? Not even in all the movies Ann tended to watch did human cloning ever last. Maybe Hideki had a twin? Bu then why would they have the same clothes? And when did the twin enter the river portal?
"Hi Treat! Did you get the wood?" Ann asked waving at him, appearantly not noticing Hideki and Troopmon on the bushes. Treat thought best not to tell her right now.
"Hi Ann! Hi...Hideki. Yeah, I did get the wood." Treat replied.

The false Hideki smiled a wolfish grin full of pointed teeth. "Nice to make your acquaintance, Ann." The boy-thing's stomach growled as he spoke. "Uh.. so hungry. Do you have anything to eat? I kind of forgot to bring food with me.. No pockets, you see."
His silent troopmon sat nearby, simply staring at the fire with the light reflecting from his glass eyes. It had no mouth, no facial features besides its flat goggle-eyes. Its tail waved impatiently as it stood from its position when it heard a noise... Treat was coming back. A sound not-unlike gnashing teeth came from the digimon as it shook with anticipation. “Foods? Is it foods time yet, boss? I smell food.”
Hideki Tanaka's eyes almost popped right out of his head when he failed to notice the canine digimon sneak up on him. "Treat, shh.. we're waiting to get the drop on the other- Oh. Never mind.. I think they saw us." The boy and Troopmon rose from the bushes to face their evil copycats that stood next to the ten-year-old girl.
"HEY YOU! You can't be me! I'm me! You're not Troopmon either, cuz my buddy is right over here! So who are you and take a step away from the little girl or you'll be sorry!" Hideki's legs were shaking from fear but his voice came out strong, stronger than he had ever sounded. Troopmon sat in a pouncing position, all four limbs on the ground and waving its tail in the air as something.. strange happened to the impersonators.
The false human and digimon started to change.. they grew larger, crouching into an animalistic stance as they shifted into strange, red-furred wolves. The former-troopmon spoke first. "Watcha gonna do about it, kid? You and your shrimpy friend gonna beat me and my bro' up or somethin? We'ze Fangmons and you can't.."
The one that had pretended to be Hideki appeared to be the more intelligent of the two, as it interrupted its drooling brother. "Oh dear.. I was hoping to avoid this undecency, but I fear we have no choice. Let's do this, brother Fangmon. Tonight we dine well.."
The digimon licked its lips hungrily before they ran towards Troopmon and Treat.
(OOC: Yeah, Fangmon are champions but these ones haven't eaten in a while and one isn't very bright.. I think we can handle them)

"Food? I don't know, let me check my bag, I might have something there." Ann said, smiling at "Hideki". She walked towards her bag (which she left near the fire) and getting on her knees to reach out to it, she opened it. However, before she could inspect the contents, Hideki showed up from some bushes nearby, claiming the "Hideki" and the "Troopmon" were not really him and his partner. That far Ann could follow...but if they were not them, then who were they?
The answer was soon to be revealed in the form of the false Hideki and Troopmon turning into two red wolfs. Ann unpocketed her D-3 and scanned the wolves, which turned out to be Fangmons. Very hungry Fangmons. And Ann, Treat, Hideki and troopmon were they're planned meal.
From Treat's perspective, things were complicating. First impersonators. Then impersonators see the originals. Originals come out of hiding and and accuse the impersonators. Impersonators get on all fours and turn into red wolves. Red wolves were very angry...and hungry.
The sequence of events worried Treat, as it had gotten worse with each step, and it continued to do so as the Fangmons were now charging at them. The blue puppy could only hope their luck would change.
"Ann, you and Hideki get behind me and Troopmon!" Treat ordered, as he got ready for a fight.
"Ok!" Ann replied as she picked up her bag and rushed to as commanded with it still open. However, the contents were rather embarassing, so she quickly closed it in her way there. Only Treat could know about what her bag contained, though the Fangmons might have been able to take a peak in her fearful rush. She got near and almost hugged the boy, afraid. Normally she would have hugged Treat, but the dog digimon was busy.
"Visionary Charge!" Treat shouted. His Binocules got down as he charged against the Fangmons himself, leaving Troopmon free to shoot them from the distance while he intercepted them directly.
(OOC: If you could give the info on the Fangmons [yes, that includes attacks], I'd be grateful.)

Fangmon. Data Attribute. Demon Beast Digimon.
Attacks: Snipe Steal- Fangmon swipes with its claws, stealing things like weapons or items Blast Coffin- Shoots a burst of Dark Energy from its mouth
"D̛aTA Da̧RTS͢!̶" the Troopmon shouted in its semi-english as it fired bullets of blue energy from its hands, colliding with the muzzle of one of the charging beasts. The Fangmon yelped in pain as the bright lights hit it in the eye moments before Treat's attack smashed into it. The rubbery digimon leapt to one side as a red shimmer flew past it.
"Great teamwork, guys!" Hideki's heart was racing! He was in real danger.. but he couldn't give up, he wouldn't just lay down and die for these things. It wasn't his destiny to be eaten by talking wolves, he knew it. "Troopmon, watch out! You got one, but there's still-" But there wasn't another one.. where did it go?
"Still one what, kid?" A hoarse, gravelly voice came from behind him. "Ya gotta do betta than that ta stop us! SNIPE STEAL!" With a swipe of its huge claws, the creature smacked Hideki to the ground with a hard thunk. There was a loud pop as he made impact with the hard dirt. "Heh, did I break somethin' in ya, Kid? Crud, that just means I've gotta pull more bones outta ya when I eat you!"
"Ḩ̀I̵̧̢D͞͏̶̢E͠͏K͞͞҉͡I͡!̧̕!͏̨̀͟!̧ " Troopmon doubled back and ran on all four legs at the monster that had just injured its best friend. The champion had just made the rookie VERY angry.

Treat roared proudly at Hideki's compliment. He got ready to strike again quickly, however, as he knew this digimon were champion level. If didn't press the advantage they would soon all be dead. But he might have found just were to hit to end one of the Fangmons. Hopefully troopmon would be able to distract the red wolf with another shot, allowing Treat to hit the final blow.
"Hunt for the Hunt!" Treat yelled, opening his jaw targeting the Fangmon's neck. It worked with cats, so why wouldn't it work with this wolf?
A scream was heard. Ann git on her knees as she saw Hideki falling to the ground to the Fangmon's blow. She was shaking in fear of the Fangmon's threat, thinking that she might just die today.
"Why? Why can't just work for your food like a regular guy?" The girl asked the wolf digimon. She stood and attempted to slap the wolf "Picking on a guy in pijamas and a little girl, you should know better!"
Treat was confused, but ready. Ann might be acting brave, but he knew she was really scared and just using some of her English discipline to try to turn the Fangmon around. She might not know it, but that looked like a nice way to confuse the red wolf, hoepfully.
"Visonary Charge!" Treat yelled, charging towards the Fangmon.

Alright, I had to make the Fangmons' writing slightly different to make their personalities more apparent. Should have done it from the beginning, I know, but yeah.. I'll edit the older posts in a few.
Fake Hideki/ Smart Fangmon Fake Troopmon/ Dumb Fangmon
Hopefully that'll help clear things up.
The Hideki-Fangmon yelped as it received yet another hit from the smaller canid digimon. This time in the form of its clamping jaws. It tried to bat away the dog and managed to slap it to the ground.. only to see that the digimon was still ready to go as it struck the digimon with another charge. "This is getting ridiculous! Why won't you let us just kill the humans and eat their data? You're a digimon too.. a predator like us? Join us and I'll give you an even share, Treat. What do you say?" The creature's legs were wobbly from the hits it had taken from the rookies.. it was still a champion, but four hits to the face still hurt!
Back by the tamers, the Fangmon that attacked Hideki circled the children, chuckling at the girl's attempts to talk and the boy's wimpers. "Whatcha talkin' about girly? I am workin' for my food. Ya guysez is fightin' ain't ya?" the Fangmon laughed at the young girl's cries. But it didn't like the slapping so much. "Hey! Hey ey wadda thin youze doin?" It flinched away from the pitiful human slaps, but the next hit struck the digimon much harder.
"H̸i͢iii͢I̢IIDEKIIi̸i͢iìii̧! ͠ ̢PL͟aY͝FÚL͢ P̸oUNC̷e!̴" Troopmon leapt forward on springy limbs and flew at the Fangmon.. the one that Treat didn't currently have a death-grip on. The hard-headed rookie smashed its solid skull into the red wolf, knocking it to the ground and putting it in a daze. It immediately followed the attack through with another jump that placed it right on top of the champion's prone form.
"Troopmon.. don't do it." Hideki weakly protested through winces of pain. "Help.. Treat." But the rookie wasn't listening to its tamer. It wanted to hurt the thing that hurt its friend. "S̴P̕i҉Ri̢T SiPH͡oN͠!"
Wrapping its leech-like arms around the Fangmon's neck, it began to constrict and siphon the life from the bigger digimon while it squirmed and gasped for air in its daze. Troopmon knew that if the other champion came at it, the rookie was doomed.. but hopefully Treat could take the bigger canine now that it was a one on one fight.
"Alright! Alright! It seems like as good a time as any to try and negotiate.. Please release my brother and we will leave you be and just walk away. It sounds like your friend my have a broken bone or two from earlier and I would rather not lose a sibiling. So, what do you say.. Ann, was it? There's no reason we can't be civil about this." The more intelligent Fangmon wanted a way out.. he knew that this fight wasn't going well for them.

(OOC: I actually ment Treat attacked the Fangmon Ann was talking to, but oh well, I guess I wasn't clear enough. Let's just take your version)
This...wolf was trying to persuade him to leave Ann to die? How did it dare say something like that?
"I'll never leave my princess's side. She's my tamer, my princess. I won't betray her, ever!" Treat roared at the wolf. But then again, wasn't he right? Treat did in fact betray Ann once before, when he turned to Ironymon. He had said Ann worked him like a slave, not showing grattitude. Maybe this Fangmon would...No! That was just Ironymon talking, he had to get those thoughts out of his head. "Die. Visionary Charge!"
It hurt Ann to slap the Fangmon. Her hands were certainly not made to hit a digimon in the teeth, that's for certain. Troopmon and knoked the Fangmon with his attack, then ebggining to drain it with another. Hideki begged Treat for help and Troopmon to not drain Fangmon, causing turn Ann to turn to Treat, beg him with her eyes to stop Troopmon.
It hurt. It hurt to see Treat didn't notice her, as his eyes focused on the other Fangmon, hatred showing clearly in them. Ann didn't what Treat to fight, she didn't what anyone hurt. Not even those disgusting Fangmons. As the red wolf plead for surrender, for the fight to just stop and everyone go their own way, Treat got ready for another attack, angry.
"Stoooooop!" Ann yelled, tears coming down to her cheeks. Treat turned to her worried, confused. "Please. This fighting is senseless. Fangmons, if you wanted food, why not just ask? We'd have given it to you, found something. And Treat that digimon just begged for his brother's life! Why are you attacking? You didn't eve notice Hideki BEGGING you to stop Troopmon from doing...whatever he's doing."
"My princess..." Treat began.
" No, please. Fangmons, just go away and leave us alone. " Ann said. She Sat down on the ground, crying.

"Well, you see, we didn't want your food.. we wanted to eat you. I thought we were pretty clear on that. Plus, any food you had would be water-logged, since you guys showed up soaked to the bone." The digimon had clearly been watching Ann and Treat for a while before it and its brother arrived, considering it knew that.. it was doubtful that it knew about the river entrance from the human world, but it knew that the water had to come from somewhere. "So.. you're just going to let me go? What about my brother?"
As if in response to the question, there was a loud crack as the other Fangmon was reduced to data. Glowing pieces of the creature littered the ground around a blue-splattered rookie. Troopmon stood from its kill triumphantly, still covered in the glowing residue of the creature's remnants. The rookie looked around, oblivious to its surroundings until it noticed its tamer lying on the ground. The digimon made a noise that could best be described as inhuman.. a deep, reverberating roar of bloodcurdling triumph.
"Oh.. so I guess that's out of the question.." the Fangmon stood in shock, eyes wide with disbelief. "I can still go, right? Please don't.. don't.." The digimon tried to run, but it was more of a lazy limp as it fled from the scene of the attack.
Hideki still lay on the ground, breathing hard and motionless as Troopmon brought itself to the prone body of its tamer and sad next to him, shaking making wet sobbing noises. Troopmon was crying. It was crying hard. Troopmon was sad and scared. It just wanted Hideki to get up.
"It's.. it's alright buddy.. thanks Ann. Thanks Treat. You saved us..." his voice was pained, but more tired than anything as he tried to pull himself up with a wince. His left arm hung strangely, dislocated from the Fangmon's attack. "But I think it might be better if we went our separate ways.. There's a city off in the distance and I figure if we start heading that way now, we can easily make it before the sun comes back up." He looked scared too, but he placed his other hand on the still-sitting Troopmon's head and started petting the digimon. He knew however scared he was, it was nothing compared to however the rookie was feeling, seeing that it had something like that inside of it. "I'm sorry for all this.. for everything."
"Treat, take good care of Ann.. I'm sorry. This was a terrible way to meet.." The thirteen-year old tamer helped his still-sobbing partner from the ground with a sharp inhalation and knew that everything would be okay. Ann had Treat, the brave an valiant warrior to defend his princess. He had Troopmon, his friend that he knew was good. Broken, but good. 'Yeah.. they'll be fine without us messing everything up', the boy thought.
Hideki and Troopmon, two kids with too much on their minds, began towards the city with a mission. They had to get home, they had to stay alive.
