Slick one, aren't you?
The legend of Merukimon wasn't entirely lost on Valeria: as one of the fastest-known creatures in the Digital World, it would be quite a feat to try and catch him. That limited Valeria's options far more than she liked. Adamon was a close-ranged Digimon, after all, and if Darian and Gabe were able to keep any sort of distance between them, it was going to be hard to close the gap.
And it wasn't as if Merukimon being at a range limited his options, either! Seeing the fused duo flip their way out of the crater, they didn't let up the pace: four projectiles were thrust forth, each a sharp blade launched directly towards the vampire. Gritting her fangs, a hand quickly reached up, crushing one of her carnations in her palm. Similar to the knives, a cone of blades shot forward from her then-opened palm, right towards the incoming blades. Valeria's 'quantity' met the super mega's 'quality', the four larger blades moving through a thick cloud of petals. She had hoped that these would divert them a bit, as she curled up her wings to brace for the incoming attack-
"Gah!"
Shoot, not quite! Though two of them were shunted to the side, another grazed past her leg... while a third, in what would seem like a clean hit, landed straight in her arm. Wedged deep, a hand grasped over the wound, a brief pained expression on her face...
"Aah!"
And, ripping her hand away from the wound, Valeria's blood began to take shape in her right hand. There, a quality five inch needle, sharp enough to rip through Digizoid, formed in her palm like a dart. It wasn't as numerous, but as a chip-shot, this poisonous attack, Death Needle, was shot forth, right towards Merukimon's center. Shortly after that, she let herself fly just above the surface of the ground, keeping a reasonable distance from the tamer behind her.
"Val-"
"Don't worry. Just keep reading up on him..." Valeria smirked.
"We'll have an edge up, after we fuse."

Merukimon smirked as his attack struck its mark. Two out of four of his copied blades had closed in and made contact with the target. This was fine by him, fifty percent was better than zero. Sharp eyes scanned his opponent, from what he could see, he had wounded her leg and one of the blades had left quite a mark on her arm. That should be some noticeable damage. Though, after two hits from a Super Mega, there had to be at least some sort of...feeling? Though, that was simply Gabe's thoughts, Darian's own thoughts put him in his place.
I only hit Super Mega because I had to fight the one who killed my mom. I can't really see a sparring match being enough to force the evolution.
So what you're saying, is that we can't spur enough emotion, correct?
Yeah...that's right.
So what do you propose then?
We have to stop treating this like it's training.
What!? Are you sure?
There's too much overhanging safety in this fight. We have to make them feel danger. We have to force them to fight back and at their full strength. Only then will they be able to Biomerge. It was the same thing for us.
I..guess so.
Now, let's really show them what we're made of.
Now if there was one thing that Darian and Gabe, and in a sense Merukimon were good at, it was remembering certain things about enemies they had fought before. Thinking all the way back to the tournament fight they had so long ago, Merukimon remembered that as Adamon, Valeria could do a lot of things with her own blood. Therefore he had been preparing something in advance, dark purple energy emanating from him as he activated his always loved by his enemies attack, 'Shaman Voodoo'. For those who didn't know, this meant that his already ridiculous speed had just been increased by an exponential amount. While it only lasted for a short time, he was going to make good use of it.
If Valeria wasn't watching closely, she may actually have missed him arc his body to the left as he took off in a sprint, avoiding the singular Death Nettle attack that was thrown at him. Twisting his dagger into a reverse grip, he switched hands so that his left was free. Beginning to charge one of his strongest attacks, he grinned. If they weren't feeling threatened yet, they would be soon. Merukimon held a 'Voodoo Blast' in his hand as he circled Valeria.
As soon as Voodoo Blast had reached its max size, Merukimon turned on his heel, aiming his body quickly for Valeria. Turning again on his heel twice as if he was throwing a discus, he released the Voodoo Blast, tossing it at a high speed towards Valeria. Should it hit her, or really anything, it would explode in a blast of shadowy fire.
Well they're definitely going to feel threatened now.
Good, it's what they need..

Of course the needle wasn't going to hit. The range was far enough that anyone who was paying attention was going to be able to dodge, but at this rate, Valeria was trying to get any edge that she could in this fight. This meant, of course, that she was paying as close attention as possible to Gabe and Merukimon, her fangs being brought to a smirk. Before her attentive eyes, Merukimon vanished into a blur, finally tapping into his full speed.
Finally decided to be serious? Good.
If Darian's intention was to simply scare her at this point, then he was going to find himself a little off of the mark. Valeria knew that she didn't have a chance in an extended fight, so her only hope was to find some 'trick' to it, something that wasn't going to become obvious if he continued to play it safe. The difference in power from a moment before was astounding: removing her arm from her dripping wound, she realized that this figure whipping around him, with a growing glow, would be impossible to track with her eyes.
"... Isn't... isn't that a bit much for-"
"Heh."
In that instant, it all clicked: raising her palm, a gem flashed in Valeria's hand, as she outstretched, and aimed it forward. It seemed like a wild-shot: could she really hit such a fast target?
Of course not.
She didn't need to.
Explosive Force!
Unlike 'Voodoo Blast', Valeria didn't need to charge her attack. So, as Darian and Gabe would still be charging, Valeria would suddenly pivot on her foot, and aim in what seemed like any old direction. At the last moment, her wrist would flick downward, an explosive torrent of energy erupting from her palm, pouring onto the ground below. Rock would tear itself asunder: sharp stone, uneven footing, and shifting rock plates would replace the once sturdy land, becoming a spiky hell of uneven terrain, large blasted rocks, and blinding rock dust in the air.
And who was whipping around her at full speed?
Gotcha!
It was a guess, of course, but an increase of speed usually came at the cost of control. If Valeria was lucky, this sudden change in footing wouldn't even register in their perception, until it was too late. Her intention was to make this untrackable blur trip, while holding a half-charged mass of god-knows what kind of energy! It came at calculated risk, of course: performing this meant she wouldn't really have time to dodge if there was a mistake.
If it worked, though...
She's... she's enjoying this...
On the sidelines, still clutching to her Digivice and reading on Merukimon's data, Ami currently feared for her partner's safety. In this last moment, Merukimon's power seemed to dramatically increase. If this worked, then the pressure would make her more likely to Digivolve, but what was the end purpose?
To get to champion, she had to stare down a Devimon. To become a golem, she had taken a scorpion stinger, and for mega, well, she didn't like to think about that.
Was that all there was? Digivolution based on darkness, panic and pressure?
No, there had to be something else. This fight had to show it!
"Go! Take him down!"

Yes, most would lose control with such an extreme speed limit. Even Merukimon was affected by the speed boost in some way. But as the so called god of speed, the embodiment of Mercury himself (if you chose to believe in that myth), speed was his specialty. Stopping on a dime was pretty much part of his resume. Though, he had to give it to Valeria. Predicting where he was going to be at such an extremely high speed was definitely skillful. If they were still on good terms after this fight, they would have to give that one to her.
As Valeria fired her attack, Merukimon luckily caught on to her attack before it was too late. Planting his feet and leaping up, flipping backwards in the air he managed to avoid the main force of the attack. While the actual concussion of the attack missed thanks to Merukimon's quick movement, the blast did cause damage to his legs and feet, that would make things painful in the future.
Merukimon decided to test out just how perceptive Valeria and Ami could be. Using his flip to stay out of sight, Merukimon landed behind the smoke, rock, and destruction from Valeria's previous attack. Before the smoke could clear, Merukimon attempted to make good use of this distraction. Smashing his open palms into the ground, he summoned a large amount of shadow energy into the point beneath his hands. Almost immediately, the energy began to crawl along the ground towards Valeria's hovering position. It started its travels in the smoke and debris of Valeria's previous attack, so hopefully with that advantage it would actually reach her.
Should this attack, Shadow Wave, reach all the way to Valeria. It would expand and create an explosive pillar of shadow fire. This fire extends approximately thirty feet into the air, which would surely capture Valeria if she wasn't able to fly fast enough. This was one of his strongest attacks as Merukimon, unfortunately it was easy to dodge if not set up properly. Thankfully this seemed like a pretty good chance to set it up.
In a low, guttural growl, Merukimon muttered to himself, "Let's see you dodge this..." From within, the tamer and his partner were still speaking with each other.
Are you sure we're not going too far?
We need..to push them...harder!
Gabe was beginning to think about calling off this little fight. He could feel something he had never felt before while merged with his tamer. What was it? Gabe couldn't really figure it out. But...it felt like....pure rage?

Just short!
Shoot! In that single instant, a myriad of thoughts bolted through Valeria's head. Just how was it possible that Merukimon was able to kill his momentum so efficiently? Against any less of a speed type, that sudden gutter of desolation would have been enough to tear their legs to shreds. But there Gabe went again, with a last-second spirited exertion to bring out the possible. This time, they couldn't exactly hide their damage, the singed feet and calves of this beast-man passing her view, before he went off into hiding.
"..."
No, that didn't make sense. If they could pivot so efficiently, why didn't they simply dart forward and try to land the already-charging bolt of energy? Were they honestly that afraid of her, that they felt the need to fall back in this situation? It didn't really give them too many other places to look, both Ami and Valeria looking forth at the smokey debris, waiting for any movement.
"Ami, what can he pull from that position?"
"Um..." From a distance, Ami racked her memory, as well as consulted her scanner: "He can throw knives through rocks, and he can conjure fire at your feet-"
"Aha."
Knowing where to look, Valeria pumped her wings, and propelled herself forward, to begin to fly over the wreckage. A few moments after taking off, the shadows would meet their original target, an impressive pillar of black fire would erupt behind her, its heat enough to singe her wings. It was at this moment that the pair realized a little more about what was going on.
That was too much for a spar.
"Valeria... maybe we should-"
"Oh, no, no." Valeria smirked, calling out over the battlefield: "You know, I do so much hate when someone tries to take it easy on me, so you guys are on the right track. But for the love of god, the theatrics are just making me want to kick your butts even harder."
The blood vampire chuckled, touching down on a larger rock. From the wound on her arm, a sword of blood was drawn, a good three feet in length. "So let's fight. Push me, make me draw out more power. And right when I'm at the brim... I'll see it!"
Valeria stood tall, and gave a sharp, beckoning gaze forward: "So come at me!"

Through whatever it was that Darian was experiencing, he was managing to feel at least some of his thoughts. The thoughts that kept him from truly feeling any sort of murderous intent. Questions like 'why do I feel like this' and 'what am I doing right now' were among those that were ringing around his head. Overpowering these thoughts though, were the emotions that came with any battle, plus a few new ones that he was having issues dealing with. Fiery burning in his heart, the ambitious drive to drive his opponent to the ground. The problem was, his opponent was his friend.
Darian! Chill.
Snapped out of his thoughts, Darian attempted to clear his mind again. It was unfortunately difficult,
Yeah buddy..sorry.
On an external level, Merukimon was crouched, preparing himself for his next assault, ready for anything that Valeria could possibly throw at him. He had only about a minute of his 'Shaman Voodoo' spell effects left to use, and he was beginning to get an idea on what he wanted to do. Again flipping his dagger into a reverse grip, Merukimon readied himself to spring his attack. Listening to Valeria's monologue, Merukimon growled as he was provoked.
Hearing the taunt from within, Darian felt the fire spring again. This battle was on, and Valeria was going to get it.
"Oh..I'm coming!"
Merukimon took his first step before dashing forward towards Valeria at what seemed like lightning speed. The dagger was already showing an effect of 'bleeding shadows'. When Merukimon reached Valeria's position, he would swing the blade towards her midsection. He dared her to try and block this attack with her new sword. This was his 'Piercing Azteca' attack. The shadow aura blessed the dagger in a way that allowed it to break through most armours, including Chrome Digizoid. He was curious to see how that would affect a blood sword. Secondly, should the attack be successful and it struck Valeria, it would create a wound that would even be difficult to heal for Koneka. The wound would fester long after it was given, and would take many days of healing to finally be free of its effects.

"... Heh..."
Man, Valeria was a really interesting Digimon, wasn't she? It was strange: even amidst her concerns, and Valeria's open taunt to the much stronger Digimon right in front of her, Ami just couldn't help but share in her partner's feelings.
This is how its always been, hasn't it? Clutching her hand around her Digivice, a familiar warm glow began to radiate, not only from around the Digivice, but around herself as well: My Digimon, standing so far ahead of me. I've always cared so much more about her well-being, but she seems so natural out there.
Ami's thoughts were calm. With a deep breath, clenching her hands around her Digivice, the tamer focused, looking solely at the battle before her.
Ami. I feel you.
It was difficult to explain, but in this one instant, Valeria understood her tamer's thoughts far more than speaking could ever accomplish. With Merukimon's charge, the vampire clenched her arm around her sword, and planted a single foot forward. What she did next seemed amazingly incorrect: instead of swinging her blade or taking flight, a heavy foot was planted forward on a pivot, to throw a right hook as soon as Merukimon approached. There was simply no way, at her current form, that such an attack could reach in time!
However, it would make more sense in the next second, as Valeria's data began to shed itself. In the next moment, there would not be a vampire, but instead the sixty-four ton golem, Koganemon, standing a mere foot in front of Darian. Assuming the attack would carry through, Darian and Gabe would feel their blade slice through like butter, and come clean through out the other side...
... Carrying a literal club of gold, over a ton in weight, on the other side. Whether the right hook would connect or not, Koganemon would then shatter her golem form, using Banshee's Wail to become several floating fragments of gold. In this incorporeal form, Valeria would retreat to Ami's side, again shedding data, until she was once more a rookie-level rabbit, sitting on Ami's shoulder.
"Give us just one moment, Darian..." Assuming they were in position, Ami grinned, a small glance given towards Valeria:
"But I think we got it."
It would be, of course, a much-less experienced process than what Darian had mastered, and if the two wished to interrupt, it would be entirely possible. But, as it was the point that they were all here, Valeria didn't think the two would stop the show. As the pair would be engulfed in the light of Digivolution, the canyon floor would begin to shake, the light quickly reaching a blinding point. From that center, two massive wings of light would erupt, and beat once, the loose soil below kicking up into the air. The tips of the feathers would soon come into sight, a myriad of earthy colors decorating their hue. From below, a fierce black talon would step forth, the Digimon coming fully into view.
With stark black eyes, the bird's head, adorned in brilliant green feathers, would look down upon Merukimon, the beak above as sharp as the talons below. Spreading her wingspan to its full length, the bird would then look up, and give a loud caw into the air, before settling her wings again.
"Caw?" At this point, 'Houkumon' seemed more confused than anything else.
Oh... um, wow...
At this moment, Koneka's voice (the cat having Darian's number) would crop up inside Merukimon's head, the cat still observing this from a distance.
Okay, word of warning... from a brief look over, I don't think the two can talk like that. Just in case though, I don't suggest trying to set her off.

It connected, or at least, they thought it connected...it felt like it connected..god damn, why did it have to connect? What Merukimon thought was their blade slicing through flesh, was actually just a brief connection, a shedding of data, and the familiar reappearance of Koganemon appearing instead of Adamon. Wait what? From within Gabe couldn't help but chuckle a bit at their misfortune, having an idea about what just happened.
I swear, we've fallen for this one before.
Lo and behold, Merukimon suddenly felt a large weight practically drag his arm to the ground. Reacting quickly, he dropped what was left of Azteca, or at least, it's golden form. Unfortunately, the speed of Ami's digivolution was enough for her to get the jump on him. With the sudden appearance of a giant golden fist, Merukimon felt a large amount of force applied to his cheek before being sent flying backwards as the punch collided with his face.
A few seconds of skidding against the ground followed by a couple backwards tumbles and a flip and Merukimon was back on his feet again. For an Ultimate level Digimon, he had to admit that that golem packed quite a punch. Physically, Merukimon had already stepped forward to begin a counterattack, internally, Gabe finally put the law down on this Biomerge, holding Darian's will back.
Dammit Darian, we're training. Not killing them! Look, they're getting ready to do it.
Darian, thanks to Gabe's swift intervention, managed to regain his senses just enough to stop moving. The thrill of battle gradually began to leave him as Gabe's words took their toll. Just what was he doing? Taking a step back, Merukimon allowed the two to begin their Biomerge, and thankfully it seemed to complete without a hitch. Merukimon stared deep into the freshly emerging light as he waited to see what would appear. In summary, Darian described it to himself as bird, sharp talons, huge wings, generally massive.
As the Digivolution finished, finally back to his sentences, Darian allowed himself to meld out of his own Digivolved form. Ending the Biomerge, the duo once again reappeared in their normal forms, Gabe for once not holosuited. Looking up at their large would-be opponent, they couldn't help but feel....small.
Having received Koneka's call from inside Merukimon, Darian redialed, slowly lifting his phone to his ear,
"So..is there something we're supposed to do now?"
"Honestly, chicken sounds nice." Gabe stated with a smirk, causing Darian to glance uneasily at their feathered comrade.

Well this is... new.
As Darian and Gabe became their original selves once more, the Houkumon showed more signs that she seemed to be restrained. For one, the Digimon didn't immediately peck Darian off the ground and start flying off, so that was a start. Rather, she flexed her wings outward, and looked at them with a bit of confusion, letting out another "Caw?" as she tried to get her bearings.
Bird... so you go from a rabbit, to a fairy, to a-
Yeah, yeah, old joke, Ami. But trust me, I know you're not used to it, but this form has a lot of kick to it. Let's see here... hm?
What did Gabe just say about them? Focus snapping back to the group, the bird bent its legs a bit, looking down at the two as Koneka started to move to join them.
"Caw..." With a slight glare towards Gabe, the Super Mega clacked its beat as a retort. From a distance, Koneka phoned back:
"Really, you guys are crazy, just dropping your form like that. Just be glad they're sane... but really, they can't talk?"
Duh! You try talking with a beak! Ugh, how does Red manage this?
Careful there, hothead. We've done what we need to do. Think we could do it again?
Oh, sure, no problem.
Alright, so let's de-digivolve and meet up with them!
Er...
Don't tell me you don't know how...
__________________________________________________________
Their internal conversation culminated in the Super Mega sighing, as Koneka finally joined the group. "So, Valeria, Ami. Tap once if you can understand us?"
With a single clack of the beak, Koneka's worries were alleviated. Her attention turned towards Darian. "Well, good work, you guys! If we can manage these forms consistently, surely that'll help with everything going forward. For now, I think we should get back to the caves, and- hm?"
Oh, what was it with these texts? Looking at her device, Koneka read it over: "That's weird, its from Ami- ... Oh."
Koneka chuckled, looking towards Gabe: "It says, 'How do you get down from Super Mega?' Gotta tell you, didn't think of that one."
Oh you guys better watch yourselves...

Gabe could almost feel the piercing glare that was directed towards him after his chicken comment. With an uneasy scratch of his head and a small chuckle, he turned his head towards Darian,
"Jeez, maybe it was a bad idea that we dedigivolved."
With a glare back, Darian replied.
"Well if you keep on saying things like that, I'll just hand you over to the giant bird." he retorted.
Darian simply shrugged at Koneka's mention of the fact that they couldn't talk. While he and Gabe had never lost their vocal ability, he could understand that that may have been a possibility for someone else. Really, everyone was different when it came to Biomerge. If some lost the ability to talk, others could lose other things, their sanity, their vision, hell, maybe even their ability to breath. Gee, that would be weird.
The duo watched as Koneka attempted to check Valeria and Ami's understanding. Thankfully, it seemed like they weren't entirely voiceless, as they responded easily enough to Koneka's command, albeit with a click and nothing that was really intelligible. Baby steps.
It wasn't long before Koneka had received a text message. Darian and Gabe both looked over her shoulder in order to get a closer look at the message, though when Koneka read it out loud, Gabe couldn't help but laugh. Even Darian allowed a chuckle to escape his lips.
Always the bravest, Gabe stepped forward, waving his arms expressively at the giant bird before him.
"Well you see, Valeria has to start thinking about being a rabbit...and not eating the rabbits!"
Darian's eyes widened in shock. Thaaaaat could be messy. Reaching a hand down he attempted to back Koneka away from Gabe as he himself took several steps in the other direction. Gabe could handle the repercussions of that comment on his own.

Oh, I'm so glad you're having fun with this, Gabe.
Focus, hun...
It was definitely a new experience for both Ami and Valeria... well, the super-mega form notwithstanding, anyway. Even in this form, the two just couldn't get entirely used to this language barrier, and Gabe's jibes proved that he was more than willing to take advantage of that fact. Well, whatever: he could have his fun, and Houkumon was still 'new' enough that it was trying to figure out its range, stretching out its wings and legs to try and get used to the new body.
Yes, all was going well, all they needed to do was-
"Well you see, Valeria has to start thinking about being a rabbit...and not eating the rabbits!"
Oh, dear. With Gabe's comment, the entire orchestra fell silent. Backing up even before Darian tried to push him away, Koneka looked carefully towards the bird. For a moment, everything seemed to be fine: the avian super-mega merely turned its head, as if curious about what he said, before giving a nod, and a nice little smile. This gave Koneka a small sigh of relief...
... That was, until the communicator rang in her hand again. And this time, it was from Valeria. Blankly, she read it out loud, just enough for Darian to hear: "'Bbl, going to take Gabe for a ride.' Um... oh lord."
Oh, he's going to get it!
Are you sure this is a good- oh darn it, fine.
Well, at least in Valeria's mind, Gabe deserved a little bit of messing with. Bringing her wings close to her chest, she made the 'kind' act mentioned above... and, right as Koneka would read the text aloud, the bird would expand her wings outward, to their full height. Even Koneka and Darian would feel the force at their distance: a powerful 'suction' caused Koneka's ears and tail to whip around in the wind. The effect would be truly pronounced on Gabe himself: unless he could manage something about it, the disguised Digimon would be quickly pulled off his feet, set for a crash-course with the bird's head!
Of course, taking a bite out of her ally was not Valeria's objective. Assuming that she managed to get Gabe off the ground, and on this crash course, she would tip her head down, and try and get Gabe to land on her back... and then give him no time to try and get off. With a powerful beat of her wings, she would push off into the air, and try and take off for the sky!
"Er..." Koneka sighed again, looking towards Darian as Valeria would try and pull this off. "She shouldn't hurt him too badly... is this how they always get along?"
((OOC: Let me know if you want me to edit anything, Seph. xD))

Gabe had allowed a light chuckle to escape his lips as he spoke, though as he glanced over his shoulder to see Darian and Koneka backing up, he had a small feeling that things were about to go awry. Darian on the other hand, heard full well what Koneka had said out loud. In all honesty, when a giant bird says that she's going to take you for a ride, well, Darian didn't want any part of it.
"Good luck Gabe!" Darian said with a grin.
"What...are you talking about?"
In that instant Gabe felt his feet leave the ground, carried into the air by the beating of a pair of giant wings. Well, if you were ever to try and write a definition of caught off guard, this would probably be the fitting description. Darian himself had to steady himself as his jacket whipped up and his hair made a very saiyany attempt at standing on its end for a brief second.
Gabe managed to look right into Valeria's eyes..err...beak for a brief second before tumbling onto her head and rolling down to her back. Thankfully, despite how easily he had been caught, his reflexes did kick in just before Valeria took off fully as Gabe managed to reach up and get a strong clasp of the bird Digimon's feathers. Though, how tight he held on would be for Valeria to decide depending on just what she wanted to do up in the air.
"Y'know....you damn chicken! I will get you for this!" Gabe growled as he reached a second hand to grasp another clump of feathers.
From the ground Darian watched as the new Biomerge and Gabe soared into the air. Darian had a feeling that if he was in that situation, he'd be immediately sick.
"Yeah...this is kinda how they act towards each other..stepped up at least 3 notches." he explained.

"Figures..." Koneka sighed, brushing her hand over her head to get her fur to settle once more. After Valeria had taken off, the Gatomon and Darian were left in the quiet valley. Taking a few steps forward, the Gatomon picked up a loose rock, idly tossing it deeper into the canyon. "Boy, you guys certainly did a number on this place. I'd just be glad you are all on the same side-"
At that instant, Koneka finally caught a glimpse of Darian's hair, gave an unprofessional snort, and burst out laughing: "Oooh... its standing straight up... I can't... ha!"
It wasn't like Koneka looked too much better after being whipped around in that wound, but by god, was it funny! "Sorry... sorry! Ahaha!"
That's what you think, ya mutt!
Knowing full well that Gabe couldn't hear her retort back, Valeria gave an internal smirk as she climbed higher and higher into the sky. Though it wasn't the smoothest of take-offs, she was at least aware that she had Gabe on her back, and refrained from pulling off anything too fancy: a few strong beats of her wings, and a good half-mile above the ground, the bird leveled out, turned, and began to coast over the canyon.
You know, this is rather nice... the cold air, nice and quiet... okay, quiet save for Gabe, but you know what I mean...
Yeah, but its different... "Not at all like having fairy wings."
Wait...
"Did that just come out-loud?"
Oh, boy. No, Valeria hadn't managed to make her super-mega form 'talk'. It was more like she was 'projecting' her words, similar to her ultimate form. To verify this, she gave another small 'caw', before giving a sigh. "So instead of trying to talk, you- ah, there it is!"
"Okay, now we're just embarrassing ourselves. Now Gabe... who were you calling a chicken before?"
With that, Valeria banked to the left, hard, making her back almost ninety-degrees with the ground as she turned! She kept this up, until she completely turned around, before leveling out again, and diving just a bit to pick up more speed!
"Valeria, you know he's just going to get back at you. Eventually."
"Yeah, like he's going to mess with the pilot!"
"Oh lord..." Catching her breath, and wiping a tear from her eye, Koneka settled herself down... and then looked to Darian. "Well, what are you two going to do from here? Sure, this is a nice step forward... but, any clue about where to go next?" [/color] Koneka sighed: "The longer we're on the back foot, the longer the Devas are going to press an advantage.
