Ryusei scanned the surroundings, and that Aegiochusmon spewed gases... What could it be? The gases were too thick, not even his infra-red vision could see. He then scanned the gas with his head camera and radar unit on his left Rocket Module, and the results was... interesting. Based on the results, it has some kind of high molecular activity in it, but it could be worse if they inhaled it. So, he knew what he had to do.
"Aero." Ryusei whispered.
AERO, ON.
After Ryoko's Digivice announcement, Ryusei went visible again and the spectral parts appeared around his left leg. The parts then assembled itself on it and materialized into a jet engine-like module. Ryusei then hovered a bit and let the module then sucked in the air from behind him before he brought the leg to the front, and then... "Rider... AERO BUUUURST!" Ryusei shouted as the jet engine shot out a tornado towards the Aegiochusmon, attempting to blow away the gases, in same direction as the plant dragon's fan.
Hopefully the gas would either wear off or either returned to the Aegiochusmon, who knows. Ryoko just hoped that it would be no much a problem. If only all 40 Astro Modules were usable at that time... It would be easier. Plus, there was Azramon, so Ryusei could use some help. And then...
It's showtime. Ryusei was ready to take that Aegiochusmon out for a spin. Soon this flying fortress would be his stage, and then... to settle things with him one-on-one, so Zephyrus could count his sins. And the gang wasn't just passing through bunch, remember that!

The Dorugoramon finished charging his Metal Burst move, storing the energy inside of his body and saving it for when the attack needed to be released, a silver glow outlining his figure. The dragon then stood forward, with a menacing growl, looking at Zephyrus. Tatsuya tilted his head towards his partner, and smiled greatly. -Alright! Let's do this, Dorugoramon! -the young man shouted, with the silver creature smirking.
-Tonight I dine on mutton chops! -he said, plunging into the battlefield. He saw that Patch had been attacked by the creature, and decided to let the Armor Ultimate dodge it on his own in a display of his feline-like agility. In the meantime, the Aegiochusmon had released a strange gas that hid him from sight, but one of the Digimon that were fighting against it attempted to get rid of it by using its vines like they were a giant fan. The Dorugoramon was about to do the same by flapping his wings, sending strong air currents to dissipate the probably toxic gases expelled by the goat-man creature, but then... something sparked.
He had an idea. If that was gas, and the Digimon was still inside of it, then there was a great possibility that it could be ignited. Without giving it much of a thought, he roared to the skies, his body becoming envelopped in fiery flames. He aimed towards the spot that hadn't been yet cleared by Ryusei and the unknown plant dragon. -Stop! Let me try something! Looking at the crimson gas, the Digimon released the burst of flames that took the form of a dragon diving for its prey, its wings folded.
-DORU Djiin!
There was no solid proof that the gas was inflammable, but should he win the gamble, then the Aegiochusmon would have a rough time avoiding what was coming for it, as a simple touch with the gas would create an explosion.

"Loud up there, isn't it?"
As the battle above began to escalate, an unfamiliar red fog filling the sky far behind them, Luke couldn't help but cast a glance over his shoulder. At the moment, however, this wasn't an immediate concern for him: in fact, it just gave the human another landmark to work with, to more easily navigate this maze. Further, it meant that the Deva's focus was off those inside of this labyrinth, which meant....
"This could be a wild goose chase. Anyway, you got it, yet?"
"More or less. Based on the pattern, I'd say the middle is within twenty meters, six or so turns." Luke nodded, directing the pair to take the next right.
Either way, if there were no more traps to be tripped, they would be there soon. But just what was at the center of this castle?
((Yay small post. Got little to go on.))

The trip towards the end of the labyrinth, with Penny navigating through the skies with as much agility as she could. Mana didn't know where it would end, or how much time would pass until they found it; she could only hope that Ayaka could handle herself in the fight. Turning for a split second to see how it was going, she only saw a red mist emanating from the center of the place. It didn't look like good news, but she wouldn't lose faith in her partner; if someone could do it, she was the one to do it.
Ayaka, on her stead, decided to get serious. Right now, all the attacks seemed to have little to no effect on the goat-guy, but she knew one thing; she didn't want to enter the fog. Luckily she was at a safe distance from its radius, but she frowned for a second, unsure if she could go mega even accounting this kind of situation. It just seemed that the danger was just not enough at the moment. Silently cursing, she decided for the next best thing.
Her digicore released a burst of power as her body began adapting itself to host a new season; summer. They needed to press the assault, and she was more than willing to provide. Warm wind blew towards Azramon and Dorugoramon. Even if her relationship with Dorumon wasn't the best, she knew that Ryusei's AstroGreymon form didn't have many long-range attacks and she didn't want him to risk entering the fog/mist, so the most obvious second choice was him; she wouldn't put petty (or not so petty) quarrels on the way of such a dangerous situation; yet, she could only hope that both him and Azramon were clever enough to seize the new boost to their capabilities.
OOC: Ayaka is using Winds of Change (Summer) on Azramon and Dorugoramon: Up to two allies can use up to two special attacks on their next post without straining themselves.
Active Season: Summer (Boosts nearby allies' attack).
Ayaka is currently affected by Dancing Leaves until she is targetted by an attack.

The red mist spread, the Aegiochusmon dancing around within it. Tragically though, his foes didn’t even have the common decency to walk around in the stuff, otherwise things really would have been a lot more fun. Disorientation was such an amusing, and he has so been looking forward to pitting friend against friend in this rather amusing situation. Nevertheless, the smoke did provide him with the sufficient amount of time. Attacks buffeted the gas, causing it to dissipate slightly, the red fading, and the gas eventually dissolving into the atmosphere.
He stared around, slightly surrounded by foes at this point, all of whom had by now seemingly identified him as their foe. Well, time to teach them a lesson.
”Catastrophic Meltdown!” A wave of energy rushed from his hooves into the ground, the environment reacting immediately. Multiple stone columns fired up out of the base of the ground, aimed at all the surrounding foes. Those caught flat footed would quickly find themselves trapped within black stones cages, as the columns attempted to form tight barred cubes around his foes. This was his domain! This was how he would deal with trespassers! They where weak! Fools! They didn’t have his vision. No-one had his vision, no-one could hope to match what he would achieve. First he just has to dispose of these fools. As a warning for others who would even think of crossing him.
OOC: To clarify for those who’ll question it, Zephyrus’s can passively manipulate his terrain on a smaller scale, and has an attack slot for high end manipulation

Dorugoramon let out a "tch" sound as he beheld the gas not being inflamated by his DORU Djiin, which meant they wouldn't be able to use that for their advantage. Still, it seemed that Zephyrus wasn't over yet, because the goat-like man tried to attack them with yet another surprise out of his sleeve: Catastrophic Meltdown. As soon as the goat-man started moving, the silver dragon-like Digimon took flight again, avoiding being enclosed in the black cages as he let out a growl, being slightly startled by it.
Tatsuya made a mental note on the strange Digimon's ability, but then an idea crossed his mind. Why where they fighting him? They had no idea about its intentions, nor its plans... and the best battle was the one that wasn't fought, for it avoided needless casualties. -Wait! I don't know who you are, or what you are... but I need to ask you something? I don't know yet, but I bet that you were the one to do this to the Network Plains, but... why? What is your goal? What are you pursuing? Just... who are you? -the teenager questioned the Aegiochusmon, knowing that he probably wouldn't get the desired answers, yet he hoped it was like one of those movie-villains that spoke a lot about their plans when having captured the protagonist.
-I don't care who or what he is... he destroyed the Network Plains and attempted to harm Avery, Patch, and everyone else! -the dragon then flew towards the Aegiochusmon, his claws becoming envelopped in a fiery aura as he called out for the boost's name. -Chrome Frenzy! -the Dragon said, attempting a combination of wild swipes and hits aimed at the goat-man-like creature.
If he managed to hit, the heat would sear its skin, and the sharp claws would most likely cause lacerations on the areas he managed to attack, which he hoped would weaken Aegiochusmon enough to let the others have a good shot at him. Also, having recieved Ayaka's boost in power, he'd manage to quite a punch heavier than normal.
Afterwards, he'd fly backwards, beggining to charge Metal Shock for his next move. He needed as much firepower per second as his Mega strength allowed him to get.
OOC:
Attacks used:
-Chrome Frenzy: Setting his Chrome-Digizoid claws in fire, Dorugoramon mercilessly slices the enemy with fast melee strikes in a furious manner. Due to the extreme heat generated in his hands, this is specially useful to shred through the armor of other digimon. Causes lacerations and burnings if attacking exposed skin, which deal damage over 3 enemy posts. Afterwards, the effect (not the attack) goes on CD for 3 of Dorugoramon's posts.

"This is... off..." Following Luke's direction through the maze, the wolf champion found himself looking back up to the fight above them more and more. Here they were, perhaps a few yards from the center of this entire mess, and yet whatever monster still seemed preoccupied with the fight at hand. Seeing his partner's distraction, Luke questioned Iko:
"How do you mean?"
"Its too easy, and that girl hasn't called out with anything strange, either. After that rock trap, nothing's been done to defend- gah!"
What was that?! By the skin of his teeth, the Ankomon had barely stopped himself in time from being skewered by a number of stone pillars. His heart raced as he backed up, hitting something surprisingly solid behind him. "... S***!" Swearing fiercely under his breath, the Digimon turned to his tamer, seeing him in a similar predicament, mere feet away from his own cage!
"I-Iko!"
"Damn it, I was wrong!" Showing his fangs, two blades of emerald energy formed at his wrist, quickly moving to slash at the solid stone in front of him. As a mere champion, and as more of an indirect fighter, it merely managed to scratch the surface of this more solid barricade. This was bad. Right now, Iko just had to hope the Deva's focus wasn't on these two. For now...
"Wrong about what? What's going on?"
"Gah... its not the center! Its the entire island! He can control this entire space at will!" With a fierce cut to one of the bars, feeling his blade break, the champion gritted his fangs, throwing an angry fist at his own solid cage. "... Hopefully that girl will see us down here... ****..."

The red mist was spread. Whatever it was the goat-like digimon intended to do with it, the result would likely only show once it was gone. Chrinmon searched the area from above, looking for any signs of Cosmodramon, being, however, unable to find her. He prayed that the little dragon was fine, worried that she might have been a victim of this crime against the world.
In the distance, Chrinmon spotted another flying digimon, one that looked as a large dragon, with a human girl riding it. He decided to fly towards her, ask if she knew the whereabout's of Cosmodramon, yet something stopped him. The voice of the land-manipulating digimon rose above, calling out for an attack named "Catastrophic Meltdown", causing several pillars of stone to rise. Fortunatly, Chrinmon flyed around, dogding the rising pillar as much as he could, despite them seeming to chase him. He need to solve this problem.
"Celestial Horn!" the flying digimon cried out, charging with his horn eletrified at the pillars, breaking as many as he could. The rock was hard, coming from deep in the land. Still, he had maned to dodge it, yet he wondered what his fate would have been if such a strong attack was actually hit him without retalliation, or anyone in fact. The idea of a digimon with this kind of powers...certainly, the world needed heroes, true heroes. But all that he could now was try to help out, maybe by trying to clear off the mist.
Chrinmon scouted the battlefield from above, trying to figure how to strike the Aegischousmon, who seemd to be able to just dodge any attacks used against him. There were other fighters, but they seemed to be too busy fighting to be able to discuss with anyone a battleplan. That had to be the reason why Cosmodramon hadn`t returned yet. Either that or she was...no, he couldn`t let himself think of that possibility.

Okay, so the mist was cleared a bit, thanks to Ryusei, plant dragon, and the Prophetmon's efforts. However, there was another problem to boot: The rocks. They moved as if they were controlled by Zephyrus, and then, whoa! They were coming to his opponents, and Ryusei was one of them! Therefore, he steadily ignited his rocket arm propellers and the shuttle wing as well, so he could evade the rocks. The Space Dragon Man performed series of aerial maneuvers to evade the rocks.
At least the mist was cleared a bit, so he could charge towards the Aegiochusmon. However, he chose not to charge on him just yet, so he shot out another tornado to the Aegiochusmon to disorient him. His data reading from camera head unit displayed a high charts on Aegiochusmon's activity signal. So HE was the source of them all.
"I dunno wutcha wanna do here, but we're here to stop ya, goatlegs!" Ryusei said.

The situation wasn't the best. The Zephyrus guy had been able to dodge all the attacks and suffer minimal damage so far. Only the weird digimon's chains had contacted against him, but Ayaka had come to believe that that was the goatman's intent.
However, the goat guy now had decided to get serious with his attacks. Due to her heightened awareness, the fairy noticed the energy coursing the ground towards each combatant. She quickly jumped out of the way of the emerging terrain, hoping to evade the columns that now threatened to envelop every combatant present. She grew somewhat worried at Azramon, who had been inactive for some time, but... maybe he had a plan? She could only guess. On her view, things would continue to go down further and further unless some great happened or... they had to retreat from this thing; she hated to admit it, but it was obvious that this enemy digimon wasn't your everyday digimon if he could be on his toes against such a number of enemies; this has become a life-or-death fight even if most of the combatants haven't realized it, her own life was at stake, and Mana's too...
On her way, the dragon rider girl noticed the attack quite easily, as she could see the fight from above and what had happened when the wave of energy pushed forward and reached an enemy. Making Penny notice the fact she maneuvered to evade the columns that sprang from the ground to get her. In spite of that, the pair heard a loud curse and remembered about the landbound pair that was just below. Dang, they had forgotten to warn them about this, and now that they moved to see their situation, they saw the pair inside two blackish cages.
"Hang on!" the girl shouted to the pair as the two began descending.
The rock looked to be quite solid, and probably Penny's strength as a Ginryumon wouldn't be enough to break the pair free from their cages. Yet, she had been able to evolve before, but could she do the same feat once again? Mana caressed the dragon's back as she dived, as if transmitting her thoughts, and dragon silently nodded, as if complying. Her body was engulfed with a bright light as she reached the imprisoned pair, changing rapidly into a long and slender serpentine form. She had done it! With her Hisyarumon strength, probably she'd be able to release them from their cages, or at least she hoped that.
"Get down, stranger-san!" she said as the dragon breathed deeply and exhaled a large sword in the direction of the boy's cage's ceiling. Yeah, it was a rough move, but they weren't in the situation to measure their strength or anything similar; they didn't know how hard those cages were and they had to get the pair out of them fast or who knew what the goat guy would do to them.
This battle was indeed something terrifying, and just as Penny needed a power boost, in the girl's mind was obvious that if they needed an ultimate to try and break the cages... Ayaka would need it even more so. She was in the heat of the fight, and would need every adventage she could get in order to get through it. With determination, the girl gripped her digivice as its colors deepened even more, and the same message appeared yet again, but this time with bigger and brigther letters; <MATRIX EVOLUTION>.
Back on the main fight, once again, Ayaka's body was enveloped in bright coccoon of light, morphing into her mega form in a split second. Konohamon now stood midair while gazing at the situation; the light of the evolution softened itself, but never faded, concentrating itself into the ornament of her waist, weakly expanding itself to envelip her three most nearby allies. Time to see how things would play out now.
OOC:
Penny is using Tekkoujin Kai on Luke's cage (Accumulates energy on her mouth and releases it on the form of a large and energy-enhanced no-dachi directed at her target).
Ayaka is using Eien no Haru (Unseals a large amount of power from her digicore, gaining a temporary burst of power. Her speed, reflexes and defense are greatly increased and she gains two additional charges of both Tranquility and Refuge during each of her turns. Lasts 6 posts. Once per fight.)
Eien no Haru remaining duration: 6 posts.

Azramon's attack was apparently dodged, despite carefully guiding his fast descent towards the intended target. The drill smashed into the black ground, sending sharp rocks flying all around, but these were assumedly dodged, as well. The demon growled, a certain amount of disappointment at their unsuccessful attack against this guy. This, while the group fanned the red mist away. There was no such thing as immortality. Even if he was so swift as to have dodged all attacks so far, he would tire eventually. Soon enough, the goatman attempted another attack, this time using the environment to trap them all. Rocks rose up around Azramon, who was fairly close to the ground, and to Aegioschumon, too. The demon moved about as soon as he noticed this, using his enhanced reflexes to avoid being trapped, all the while, Azramon 'positioned' himself close to the enemy, ending several feet away from Aegioschumon. He went into a defensive stance, shadows rising up around him, looking like extra appendages. Long range attacks had failed so far, perhaps some close range would work? The demon's pose resembled that of a Muay Thai fighter. He intended to close in for a physical attack soon, with his Shadow Weave serving as a shield. But first... A seal manifested below him, stretching out and reaching Aegiochusmon. Azramon smirked. "This isn't even my strongest form. Here we go." the super mega stated, intent on giving out the wrong impression that he was going to power up... But oh no. "Spotless Mind!" he shouted, as the seal under them glowed brightly... If Aegiochusmon sat still, he would suddenly forget his nifty environment manipulating ability. Perhaps not for too long, but whatever time he could buy the group would be priceless... If it worked at all. Probably not... Yup. After this, he would slowly position himself closer and attempt to shoot his Shadow Weave from close range; the tendrils would shoot out from behind him, a flurry all pointing at the goat, intent on piercing it. --- Dark Ascension active - 2 more posts. They've all got the same heartbeat, but her's is falling behind. So the gas was beginning to disappear thanks to the efforts of Zephyr, Ryusei, and Doruguromon blasting it away with their various attacks. AJ's eyes flickered to all three, smiling that she had such great companions.
Her gray-blue gaze then returned to her partner, who was waiting patiently. Thankfully he had listened to her and was waiting for the gas to stream away. As it did, it revealed the Aegiochusmon standing in the wake. It seemed that a few of the others took this chance to bring the combat closer to him.
Not giving a second thought, Patch bounded forward, a dark aura bursting forth around his lithe frame. "Ebony Blast!" he roared as he attempted to crash forward into the goat-like Digimon. If the aura managed to touch their enemy, it would sear into his fur and skin, but just how much of an effect could it possibly have?
As Patch came across the other side, behind Aegiochusmon, the ground began to rumble beneath the big black cat's paws.
AJ also felt the ground ripple and shift beneath her boots. Glancing up, she cupped her hands around her mouth to yell, "Patch! The ground!"
The cat growled and danced around as pillars shot up. With his lithe-predator reflexes, he was able to dodge a few, but could he keep it up for long? A pillar began to close around his paws, but he quickly jumped back. He stepped forward as one began to rise and jumped across the various ones that had already risen to make his way back to AJ.

The attacking the rocks would find them to be fairly solid, chipping them was easy, but actually getting enough of a dent to do any actual damage was significantly more difficult. Those cages which actually had caught something began to shoot up into the sky, battering anything which was in their way to the side in the process. It was a little disappointing just how few pets Zephyrus had managed to catch, but he could easily swap the other flies whenever he really wanted. It was just up to him to time his opportunity a little better, and opportunities would fall to him.
The Azramon tried some kind of mind trick. Cute. He could actually feel the attempts simply dissolving in his brain, completely outclasses by the collective voices already there.
Now, with a massive amount of attacks assembling on his location, along with various digimon, it was time for the contingency plan. Unleashing an enormous force into the ground itself, it began to ripple and crack. In an instant, large shards erupted into the air, floating for a second before beginning to spin violently. A single floating rock remained where Zephyrus stood, but otherwise the entire floating rock was essentially disintegrated, and was now spinning into a vortex of large shards of rock. This was bound to knock a few birds out of the sky.

(Cue BGM: Opposition of Darkness) Well, looks like the rock problem had been solved... or not. He managed to evade the rocks, but that plant dragon Digimon... He was about to be caged by the rock! Without wasting any time, Ryusei quickly switched the Modules. "Stamper!" Ryusei shouted. STAMPER, ON.The Aero module disappeared, and the spectral parts appeared around Ryusei's left leg, and assembling themselves on it, materializing as a stamper-like module in its place. "OOO-RIYAAAAAAA~!" Ryusei then launched himself to kick the rock out of Zephyr(not Zephyrus), added with the boost of the rocket to increase its speed, that hopefully would shove it away from the green dragon. He then asked the green dragon, "Ya okay, man?"However, the problem didn't end there. the ground then cracked, and then formed a rocky twister. "Wha-whadda fuck?!" Ryoko yelped as the rocks suddenly split apart, and then crushed themselves. So, the rock that Ryoko and Yuuki were stepping on swirled around as well, joining the rest of crushing rocks. "KYAAAAAAAA~!" Yuuki screamed in panic. "A- UWAAAAAAAAAA~!" Seeing this phenomenon, Ryusei and Nadeshiko perplexed, but then they had to do this. "Nana-chan, I wantcha to take Onee-chan Yuuki, while I'mma engage da Aegiochusmon over thar!" Ryusei told Nadeshiko. "O-kay~!"as he tried his best to break through the rock twister, by igniting his rockets and wing booster to the highest speed, so he could send a stomping kick to Zephyrus, while Nadeshiko went into the twister to get both Ryoko and Yuuki... But the problem was... everyone were sucked into the vortex. Well, first, she had to take Ryoko and Yuuki. "Don't worry, Ryo-chan, Yuuki-chan! I'll take you all out of that weird tornado!" Nadeshiko said as she pushed herself forward into the spinning rocks, avoiding the rocks while going to take Ryoko and Yuuki. After taking Ryoko and Yuuki, she would take them out of the spinning vortex, while avoiding the series of rocks. Also, if the kick hits Zephyrus, it would mark a stamp of DATS logo on him. (OOC: Stamper Bomb: If hit, it would mark a stamp that would explode at 2 posts later)

Azramon blinked. He brought his shadows in front of him, protecting him from whatever trick the goat used, all while steadily backing out.
He sighed, looking around him. Ryoko, Mana, and others struggling... For what? Why was he even here? This guy could keep his island if he wanted it so much.
"Seems like fighting a battle that's already lost. Ayaka," he said, looking up at her. "My apologies... But... Good luck." he added. He didn't really care for any of the other combatants.
The shadow demon shrugged, manifesting a portal behind him. He quickly slipped out, this wasn't worth it.
*Exit*
