Tribal Law [1/?] Rewards for Ankh: Bits (Aimin' for 3k one, mind ya XD) Rewards for Vetina: Bits
[ENTER]
A Digimon of some sort flew fast into the Dark Area. He was similar to Beelzemon, but he had red mask and red cannons, as well as flaming wings with the red, yellow, and green hue on the flames. That's right. He was the FireBeelzemon. He was looking for the job around the area to gain some bits. Also, he wanted to show how much he had grown stronger.
Landing on the wasteland, he looked at the job sign. Hmm, interesting. So they wanted to hunt down the rogues, right? Or rather... tribals? Whatever. It could show the assertion of his superiority, where he could build the world he desire through power: To attain peace by force.
"Looks like this job fits me really much." Ankh remarked upon seeing the job sign. He let out a shady smirk, before looking at the details. Now he got everything he needed to do the job, and to find these so-called tribals. Ayaka would have rather referred them as "barbarians".
So that was why, he wanted to fight against them. They who refused the world of order where peace could be attained by order, even if it had to be forceful on achieving it. The world where strong and weak became equal, and where the one who abuse their powers got punished properly. No crimes, no inequalities, and no oppression. Since his encounter with Izanamon, Ankh had been pursuing such ideal world where he could use his power to enforce such peaceful living for everyone.
And now was time to find the barbarians. Just how many of them, he had to find it out. With his FireBeelzemon form, he could topple most of them quickly, if not instantly. Added with his Flames of Rebirth, he could handle this job without even afraid of getting hurt. All he needed was to subdue them and bring them to the officials, so they would never do such crime again.

(((Reward for Vetina: Bits)))
"Oh ho, the jam of frustration seeps through your very being, my friend. U mad? U mad."
"Shut up, Vetina. I'm not... jealous." She was, actually. Betty and Vetina knew she was doing a bad job of hiding it. "At least I can fly."
"You can snatch any and every petty victory to grab. Oh, dare I say that's a nice tone of emerald scale, Betty."
"I'm not green with envy... fine. FINE! I thought we were over that whole... payment thing! I said I was sorry! It was a job! We weren't even friends then!"
"Ah, but your dish is cold, to my liking. The plate of karma is ready to serve."
"This is just super petty of you."
"Your old pot tech is likened to my new kettle."
By the time Betty let out a huff in response, the two were where they needed to be. Betty, a Paildramon, crossed her arms as Vetina, a LunaticLilamon went over to Ankh. "Aye, aye, a capable strut for the activity. I've the handle of Vetina, she is Betty." Reasonably enough, Vetina hadn't any idea this was Ankh before her, having never seen his recently achieved form. She extended a hand to shake his.
Betty slowly walked over to Vetina, a bit miffed. Ever since Vetina hit her Mega form she has periodically rubbed her face in it in response to how Betty would refuse to digivolve past Champion until Vetina paid her. Oh that Karma sometimes. In any case, they were here now, and the two girls could use a little extra money. And all things considered, might as well get friendly with the support.

While walking around the wasteland, he saw two new figures: A Lilamon variant with a Paildramon. Looking at the plant one, he assumed that she was stronger than regular Lilamon, while the Paildramon, well... just a Paildramon with curvier body. Ankh deduced that the LunaticLilamon was Vetina, after hearing such... gibberish speech, and the Paildramon was probably her interpreter, Betty. Maybe he had a work mate to work with, but looks like he had to rely on Betty in interpreting Vetina's gibbers.
"You don't have to introduce yourself. I know you're Vetina, right? Your gibberish word-jumble should be obvious." Ankh said. "You may probably know me as the Hawkmon with weird right arm, but I guess you can say I'm Ankh, in case you don't know. And I see you brought your interpreter, as usual."
From Ankh's comments alone, it was obvious that he recognized Vetina and Betty in their current form. If not for that wordjumble, he still could sense their strength. Whatever, let's get the job started. Hopefully both of them could pull it off, with both of them were part in Vexus, so possibly he could have some teamwork with Vetina. Not to mention she was fellow plant-type Digimon like Ayaka...

"Huh... Ankh. Perhaps the world has overstated size, eh? And my phrases are not tossed salad jank, it's metaphorical, thesaurical, and violet."
"It's a small world her words are not a jumble it's blah blah I'm not just 'Vetina's interpreter', Ankh. I'm her friend. One who can also understand Vetina fairly clearly."
This was good for Vetina. Ankh was already an ally so this job's chances of running smoothly increased. Also, neither were mad at the Beelzemon for his comments, being "Vetina's word jumble" and "Betty, Vetina's interpreter". They wished he considered them otherwise, but at this point it was pointless to try to repeatedly press the issue.
"And a basket of felicitations in standing in your current tier. I myself have recently walked to the same goal. Alas, aerial acrobatics are not prime like I'd presume it's a case you own, but..."
Vetina's body shone with white light, and her form changed to that of Miagemon. Meanwhile, "Vetina's interpreter" took this time to translate as Vetina became Miagemon.
"Congrats on reaching Mega. I, as in Vetina, did the same as well. Aerial combat is not my strong suit like yours..."
"In combat sometimes a Queen of some can be better than a Jack of all."
"*Sigh* Is this my role? Just to translate? I don't want to just be known as..."
"What you've rendered shan't advert my gaze, pal. Please, take the undamaged pot as wholly your own once this occupation concludes. "
Immediently, Betty translated again. "...sometimes it's better to be specialized in a few fields than to be a Jack of all trades."
Well, hey, Vetina did just say Betty could keep the whole reward for this job for her services.

Ankh could comprehend those gibberish words a little, but still, he needed someone to translate her words for him. Those speaking could hurt his ears, really. Is she suffered from brain damage or what? Whatever. Looks like she could play along with him, for time being. "Whatever. But I think you should bring your friend along, really." Ankh commented.
Well, and something interesting happened. Vetina had evolved into her Mega form, and Betty looked happier with that. And here comes the gibberish words from the plant's mouth and even Betty was annoyed by it. If Ankh had been her interpreter, he would have face-faulted each time he had to translate for her. But true, being specialized in a certain job was better than to be Jack-of-all-trades. Oh, and the reward?
"I could dare less about the reward, really. I just want to give those layabouts a taste of true strength." Ankh said. "I wonder what kind of fellow we will meet."
With that, the group walked towards the small camp of some sort, where there were... Digimons living in poor condition. They looked weak, starving, thirsty, and helpless. Ankh hate this sighting. So basically they were just another victim of this oppression thing. They camped in Dark Area, for what? To die? Looks like they didn't have any food stocks, though.
If there was any connection to the rogue thing, he would absolutely hunt them down. They were just detriments in the world. While he knew they were trying to live and stand up against the oppressive strong ones, they did it with less honorable ways. So, he had to hunt them down, fast.

In Betty's defense, she was less concerned with translating for Vetina and more concerned about how Ankh seemed to think that is her only purpose here. But, again, Vetina is letting her get the full reward. Unlike the bird of social justice Betty simply did this for the reward. It helped buy her various items in her hobbyest researching. And hair products. Best not to get too emotionally invested in these sorts of jobs.
With plesantries out the way, the three had moved on. They had eventually made their way to a run down village, which seemed to peeve Ankh considering the situation of the villagers. The downtrodden ones were in such need of aid. It was kind of depressing. Betty looked around, and it seemed a few of them were quite hungry. She hesitated a bit before asking Vetina about it.
"Huh... these guys look pretty famished. Say, Vetina, wonder if you could do your... food thing."
"Running a stint I can't risk a detour in personal effects of capability, not at present. It's a binary choice for feeding, and for now, none, to avoid grey contention."
"Right, I get ya. So, lets see how soon we can get this done."

Ankh then went to the camp. Damn, they were starving, and you can say they were dying. He became more irked when seeing their condition. He then asked to an In-training Digimon, "Can you tell me what's happened with everyone here?" "Our foods are stolen... By those bandits..." The In-training Digimon, Pagumon answered. "Stolen?"
From the kid's answer alone, he knew it. The bandits had stolen their foods, so they were left starving for days. They couldn't continue living if the conditions worsened like this. Also, Betty asked Vetina to produce fruits, but it seemed that she couldn't make it now, and there were no food around for her to eat. It could have been much easier to solve the hunger problem if she could.
Ankh gritted his teeth in anger. How could those selfish, barbaric rascals stole their food, especially the foods the villagers were conserving to prevent starving? They must pay, and suffer. Those thieves couldn't get away from this. Even if they were kinds of Digimons of Dark Area, which were mostly Virus-types, he had to do it to help them.
"Don't worry. I'll get those thieves for you, and get your food back." Ankh assured the kid. "Thanks, mister!" The Pagumon answered. "B-But... You should be careful!" A Numemon warned. "Of?" Ankh then turned to the slimy Digimon, wondering what kind of adversaries he had to face. Sure, he knew he was about to deal with bandits, but at least he could know who they were. "Those thieves... They're the cruelest bandits in Dark Area! The leader, Bandit King is the most dangerous among them! Please, be careful!"
Ankh then stood up, not before patting the Pagumon. Hearing about the Bandit King, Ankh smirked, interested to see this guy in person. If he was worth his strength, it would be good for him. "Okay then. I'll defeat that guy for sure." Ankh promised.

Vetina listened as the younger digimon told Ankh the details. About how the bandits stole their food, and they were led by this "bandit king". Ankh was getting heated, no pun intended, over hearing this. And while the girls weren't as emotionally effected, they were barely any less determined to solve this issue. Because stealing food from children was pretty crappy. At least when Vetina stole from s village, she gave them food. Poisoned food, mind you, but all they did was get really sick for a day or so.
After that, Vetina motioned with her head to ask Betty to talk to Ankh. She did so, and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Vetina had said that she could feed these people, but feeding a whole village effectively before we take care of this bandit problem would not be feasible. She'll be drained enough to not fight effectively. And if she fed a few of them, well, all things considered she didn't want to risk the ones not getting fed getting jealous or angry.
Anyway, let's get to where these bandits are, shall we? Once we take care of these people they will be fed, most definately."
Vetina then spoke up. "So, let's have you stand as head of this party. Any considerations on how to gather up a few sand rats from their cellar?"

Betty then told what Vetina said earlier. So feeding those villagers made her weaker, it seemed. Producing a fruit requires energy, after all. And it made sense since they need to feed were ALL of the villagers, not some. "I see your point. So, we've gotta head on the bandits and get the foods later." Ankh said.
Now that Vetina asked about the bandits. The Numemon could barely understand what she meant, but at least he could know what she wanted to say. So basically, Vetina was asking where the bandits are, and how to get them. "Well, the bandits could be found at the fort at the north. It's not really well-guarded, but there's so many dangerous bandits there. I'd advise you to be careful, as they tended to gather in groups." The Numemon answered.
Now Ankh was determined to bust those bandits. Now all they need to do was to find the fort at the north. Beat them up, and bring the foods back. If they spot other bandits around them, they would apprehend them as well. "Okay, we're going. Don't worry, we'll be careful." Ankh bid to the group as he took his leave.
Ankh then left the camp. As suggested by the Numemon, he was walking toward the north. Ankh then turned to Vetina and said, "So, I was wondering that you'd need something to eat to produce foods. Just like plants needing nutrients from soil, air, and water."

So, the Bandits were to the north. Betty was a bit surprised they knew exactly where the Bandits were located. This could mean two things for the group. This job would be very easy, as the Bandits were stupid enough to not choose a good hiding place, or they were strong enough to be competent in battle, knowing that the village would be unable to effectively counter them.
Probably the latter. It's almost always the latter in situations like these.
With knowledge of the bandit's location, the group's business with the village was done for now. They left, making their way to the bandits, but along the way Ankh asked Vetina about her food making abilities. She was surprised he asked her first... it made the most sense, yes, but considering the complaints she received...
"I can affirm, if only to mark one column. Betty can expound,"
"Yeah, Vetina can make fruits and veggies from food she eats, she could do it from air, soil, and water... none of which I'd trust this area to have in good qualities, or simply her own stored fat or data, which drains her the most. Anyway, we should head over quickly. The more we dwadle, the less food there will be."
Vetina Nodded in agreement, and began boosting towards where the bandits were, followed by Betty.

(ooc: Disregard Pantsu's END mark.) Tribal Law [2/?]
Rewards for Ankh: Bits Rewards for Vetina: Bits
Okay, so the group headed to north. Probably, according to the Numemon, it was supposed to be a direction to the bandits' headquarters. Once they got into the fort, there might be more bandits than meets the eye. Of course, as Numemon suggested, they would be better to stay in groups. Also, who knows if there were more bandits on their way? Ah, now all they had to do was to focus on the hunt. Again, Ankh didn't care about the rewards. He was just doing that to show that the power wasn't something to play around. It had some kind of meaning, regarding on how one would use it. From great power, comes great responsibility. Suddenly, they encountered the group of bandits, composed of Aegiochusmon in different colors. Blue, Black, and Green. They suddenly jumped in and surrounded them. Their intents were clear, they wanted to steal whatever the group had. It seemed obvious that they were part of said bandits the people in the camp talked about. Alright, looks like this was the chance. "Hand us your precious belongings or else you'll suffer!" Black Aegiochusmon threatened while pointing his arm blade at Ankh. "What if I say, no? You'll make us suffer? Hah! You're funny one." Ankh scoffed as he held a red medallion hanging on the necklace. "How dare you underestimate us! You'll be squashed!" Blue Aegiochusmon snarled as he shot the lasers from his fingertips at Ankh, which he evaded. Ankh then took out the gun from his leg before shooting him with both his shotgun and arm cannon. Bah, that blue mecha-satyr was very agile, enough to evade his shots. Ankh then closed up to the blue guy, trying another attack method as he put the shotgun back into the leg holster. "Fire claw!" Ankh roared as his left free hand burned in flames, attempting to rake the Blue Aegiochusmon with the fiery claw. Meanwhile for Black Aegiochusmon and Green, they went straight to attack Vetina and Betty. The Black Aegiochusmon sent slashing beam waves at Betty, while the Green used his thorned flail, attempting to strike Vetina with it. If it hit her, it would wrap around her and snap with the thorns.

The group walked for a little while, towards the bandit's location. Vetina hoped they could whittle down their forces with relative ease. Guerilla warfare was not particularly effective in this area under the time constraints of getting it done before the villagers starved to death, though. They just had to take the bandits as they met them. And hopefully not too much at once.
Meanwhile, unlike Ankh, Betty was totally doing this for the money. Mind you, she was not so heartless as to not care for the plight of the victims. These bandits had to be stopped. She just didn't have the righteous indignation of the resident bird fellow, she would gladly help... money just makes the deal sweeter. Vetina... just wanted to do something.
During their trek, the group was suddenly surrounded by a trio of Aegiochusmon of different colors. If they really wanted valuables, well, they would be disappointed. Vetina had no valuables on her! Betty didn't either but when the job description speaks of bandits then it would be best not to bring anything to be stolen. Ankh merely taunted them, and they quickly attacked.
Betty dodged the first two blade beams sent from Black, then activated her "Shield Bash" attack, surrounding herself in blue flames before launching herself through the other beams, aiming to, well, bash into Black.
Vetina held her gun and sword, letting Green throw the first attack. Using her boosters, Vetina crouch-dashed under the whip, getting in close enough to try to slice up at her opponent with her Cypher Sword. If she missed, she would use her gun to shoot as part of a follow up attack.

The Blue Aegiochusmon was scratched at the chest by Ankh's fire claw. He then got sent a back for a bit, before he retaliated. Hah, too easy. They're just Ultimates, while most of their adversaries were at Mega level. Now what could they do? Ankh would just have them bite the dust, anyway.
"Tch, you're not half bad. But you can't beat us, the Five Satyrs!" Blue Aegiochusmon declared. "Five Satyrs? You're only three. Where's the other two?" Ankh asked. "Anyways, you talked as if there aren't foes beyond your level. Know your place!" Ankh chided the Blue Aegiochusmon as he fired another batch of explosive flaming feathers at him. Blue managed to evade some, but the one struck him, resulting minor explosion that sent him falling.
Blue grunted in pain, while trying to stand up. After standing up, he went back to flying again. He then shot the lasers at Ankh, which he evaded easily. Those peasants didn't know when to quit, did they? The power level differed clearly, but looks like that blue guy had some wits with him.
Meanwhile with Black, his beam blades missed, and that Paildramon activated a blue shield to protect herself from the beam, while bashing herself into Black. It was kind of unexpected, so the he got bashed, knocked down. After standing up again. Black flew towards Betty, with his arm blades glowed in purple color. "Vanquish Darkblade!" Black Aegiochusmon exclaimed as he attempted to slash Betty. If it hit, she would suffer from slowdown.
As for Green, Vetina managed to evade his attack, before she closed up to him and send tried to slice him up, but he evaded it. However, he didn't expect it when the female Mega shot him, which flinched him. However, he still managed to hold his whip still. This time, he wouldn't miss again.
"Plant Zone Cradle!" Green exclaimed as he shot out the thorns from his body into his surroundings. Who knows if Vetina got caught in storms of thorns, as they covered almost of the green Aegiochusmon's surroundings, particularly for the close range.

Ankh seemed to be doing quite well. But a bunch of dodgy Ultimates wouldn't deter them so easily, given that they were currently out matched by two megas and an ultimate. However, there was mention of two others. Of course, Vetina and Betty didn't expect these three to be the entire bandit force, but if there were little more than 5 in total then the group would make good progress quickly.
Black was hit by the shield, but he managed to recover fast. He attacked her with his dark arm blades, and one of the best counters for arm blades in a melee combat situation were arm blades of your own. Failing that, arm electric spikes did just fine. She would attempt to match him, blade to spike, and in the clash use her close range "Spire Flash" throw him back, jolting him with some electricity in the process. Launched back a good number of yards if it works like she planed it.
Vetina got the shots in, but Green retaliated as well, launching thorns at her. With a slight retreating motion, she used her Cypher Sword to slash most of the thorns coming her way, at near blinding speeds. But once the volley ended, Vetina was fine, with only some scrapes on a few areas of her body. She merely laughed.
"Three, Five... zero in an hour. I'm being generous."
Vetina then shot rapid fire blasts from her gun... but not directly at anyone. She shot them at the rocks and ground nearby with a fast, but precise, sweeping motion, and the ricochet shots aimed at the three Aegiochusmon from several angles almost at once.
"And it is a generosity to be set aside, to my admittance."

Hmph, what a bunch of weaklings. But that blue cyborg goat man had some wits with him. Just after Ankh evaded the lasers from Blue's oversized gauntlet, the Blue Aegiochusmon quickly locked him on from the gauntlet's function. After that... "Fool! Power Ignition!" Blue Aegiochusmon exclaimed as he launched his Mechanized Power Arm at Ankh, a la Rocket Punch.
Seeing that blue cyborg-type Aegiochusmon launching his rocket gauntlet, Ankh quickly did a retreat motion. However, it chased the flaming demon, as he had been already locked on. That annoying rocket fist was still chasing him, and what's worse, it shot some lasers from its fingertips. Ankh performed aerial maneuvers to dodge them, but looks like he was having hard time.
Meanwhile with Black, Betty managed to block his arm blades, and was about to jolt him with the electric stinger. And then, the evil-type Aegiochusmon got thrown back a good number of yards, and stumbled. "Not bad." Black mocked.
"Goddamn it! Peacock Blaster!" Ankh shouted as he fired some more explosive feathers from his arm cannon, aiming at the rocket fist. The fist closed itself, shielding its core from the explosive feathers. It then opened, and went chasing the ex-birdman again. One could know what's the best: To destroy it from near, of course. Ankh formed flames in his fist, before going to the oversized gauntlet, and smashed its core, destroying it in explosion!
"No way!" Blue gasped in disbelieve. "Hmph, serves you right." Ankh scoffed.
And then here comes Vetina. She made use of the terrain, shooting the rocks and ground with ricochet shots... And the rocks was about to fall at the trio Aegiochusmon! Somehow, Blue managed to lift the rock and dispose it, but he didn't know that the ricochet were going to him along with his brothers. "Oh, shit! We've gotta run now!" Blue yelped. "I never thought they're this strong!" Green shot back. "We've gotta regroup with Boss!" Black ordered as the Aegiochusmon trio evaded the ricochet shots and ran... to the north. Perhaps they were going back into their fort? Good chance. Probably Ankh and co. can go after them, for easier lead?
"After them!" Ankh ordered as he flew to chase them.
