"No questions then. Ahh... That's to bad, but I have a good one for you. What's with the lack of breathing?" He asked with a sly smile, "You didn't think I wouldn't notice, did you? I'm smarter then that." He walked right over to the fake and flicked her right square in the middle of her forehead. "So where's the real one. I'm sure she would like to find this." He then asked as he displayed the strange ray gun he had used earlier.
Just then, the ground beneath him collapsed as he found himself trapped up to his waist in a pitfall. The Prairiemon then dug up to surface to face the trapped terriermon. "Ahh... So if my guess is correct, you must be her? Must admit that I didn't expect you to have discovered a digimental too. You sure did take you time though. Did you enjoy what you saw in the lab, or were you just not able to understand the magnificent of it?" He asked nonchalantly, not caring much about the situation he was in.
"Just shut up already." She said before dedigivolving, "I'm going to end this madness now."
"Is that so? Unfortunately you ran out of time." The roof of the building then began to open up to reveal what looked like a satellite dish with all kinds of gizmos attached to it. A beam then shot out from of the the gizmo at Crystal, trapping her in a stasis field of some kind. "What do you think? It took me a while to build, and figuring out how to configure it so that it would target you proved troublesome. It didn't help with how much you rushed me either. Yet here it is."
Crystal seemed more annoyed then anything else. "So do you care to explain what it is?" She asked, knowing full well that is what he wanted her to say.
"Oh, but of course. It's basically a device I've made that allows me to pull someone from the Hylden realm and put them into a body of my choice. And you, my dear Crystal, are going to be the my first test. And before any of your hidden friends have any ideas, the device is program to trap them in a stasis field as well."
"Is that so?" She said in the same matter Mel said it earlier as a portal began to appear. Unfortunately for Mel, Crystal saw right where he left a big blind spot in his defenses. Sanoske should be able to take care of this any second now.

Breathing? Sanoske was barely used to it himself... was it such a bit oversight? Did he botch the plan? notCrystal did nothing to defend herself from the head flick (not that she could, really), but looked frustrated. But this plan could still be salvaged...
And salvaged it was, as he quickly sunk into the ground, thanks to the real Crystal. He still acted smug, up to when he had a machine capture Crystal.
By this time, Sanoske was in the lab. He stopped, fearing that Crystal was hurt. He wasn't sure if he could have continued the plan if she was injured, but thankfully she was merely contained. At least until a hylden was placed within her.
But Crystal seemed so calm, so collected. It was endearing, having her place her faith in Sanoske. He couldn't let her down.
notCrystal faded partially, allowing the dirt to fall through. And from outside, there were several explosions going throughout the building. Windows were blown out, spewing flame and debris. Even the satellite was destroyed. Sanoske made sure each and every piece of tech he saw was thoroughly destroyed.
But the satelite was not Sanoske's doing. From the roof came down Beverly, crossing her arms, and walked briskly towards Mel.
"If you exit out right now without prompting I'll not have you killed, Hylden."

I actually did it. I can finally get my sister back. It'll only be a few more moments. These were Mel's thoughts as he climbed out, but before he took note just how calm Crystal actually was. Why was she so calm? He wondered right before the fake Crystal faded partially and the building he stayed began to explode.
In one instant his world began to cave in around him.
Once she was released from the stasis field thing, Crystal took the opportunity to swipe the gun from Mel's hand and blasted him with it. The Terriermon completely collapsed from the hit. "Wow. I really needed that." As she gave a sigh of relief. Good thing for them that he just happened to have a gun that weakens those with Hylden data. Or else she feared she would of ended up punching her brother instead.
In hindsight, it probably wasn't all that great of an idea as the Terriermon seem to have fallen completely unconscious. Which made it difficult for Mel to answer, much less get out. Signs of life then returned to the Terriermon as a light groan left his lips. Crystal pointed the gun at him again, cautious of what could possibly happen next.
"Ugh..." He said as he got up. Once the Terriermon's eyes met with Crystal's, he lunged straight at her, hugging her. "Crystal! You don't know how good it is to see you again." Pure said as he held his sister as close to him as he can.
A small smile appeared on Crystal's face as she hugged him back. "It's good to have you back to Pure."

notCrystal watched briefly as the Hylden was knocked out, and Pure was finally able to regain control over his body. The illusion ceased to be, and the Gazimon exited out the smoking building.
But he didn't get too close to Pure and Crystal, seeing as he did not wish to intrude on their reunion. Sanoske felt a sense of warmth and pride, knowing he was able to help his love recover her brother, despite some issues. All there was left was taking out the Hylden, which is easy now with him knocked out.
Meanwhile, Beverly waited for them as well, her arms crossed. She eventually began to speak in a stern voice.
"Okay, I'm happy for you two, I really am, but let's hurry up and let Ghost grab that Hylden out of Pure before he wakes up."

Pure let go of his sister with a look of hesitation on his face as Beverly mentioned that they should rid Pure of Mel before the Hylden wakes up. "You mean you can actually get rid of him." He said under his breath. It seemed so weird to know that they can actually rid him of the demon that took over his body, yet he wasn't so sure that was what he now wanted.
"Pure? What's wrong?" Crystal asked, sensing that something was bothering her long lost brother.
"Look... I know what I'm about to say might sound crazy, but... I'm not sure we should just rid myself of him. He was doing all this for his sister, and while I can't say that I approve of his actions, I do believe I would have done the same if I were in his shoes." Pure eyes dropped towards the ground, "Besides he's not unconscious. He's still there. Weeping in the corner of my mind as he believes he lost his sister forever. It's the same pain I felt when Crystal and I were first separated. I pity him in a way, and don't believe we should kill him or send him to his death." Pure looked up at the others as he rubbed the back of his head, "None of what I said made any sense, now did it?"

The others, including Ghost who had appeared in her HyldenImpmon form, looked at each other, processing the information received and comparing it to other info they had.
Beverly shook her head in response to Pure's question.
"It makes sense. In fact, it makes more sense than you think.
Ghost has told me of some... issues the rest of you had when it came to her not telling you who gave the information as to the Hylden's whereabouts. If you hadn't had figured it out already, the info had came from Vetina and her friend. I suspected there was something they weren't telling us, and I did indeed tell Ghost that she shouldn't reveal who was the one who tipped us. Not until we know more information ourselves.
I'm going to assume Vetina found out about the Hylden's intentions as well. I for one can't say I know exactly how Vetina thinks, so I can only guess at her reasonings, but in the end she left you guys to deal with him.
Anyway, I think I'll take a page from our mutual Palmon pal and let you guys handle him. You, Pure, seem intent in keeping him around, so you don't need me or Ghost. Unfortunately, though... I've no suggestions as to how to solve his sister problem, nor am I quite willing to entertain throwing a host body into this."
Sanoske went to Pure with a look of concern. ^It is ironic, is it not? Crystal loses her brother, and in gaining him back, your kidnapper loses his sister.
Crystal... do you think... we should do anything about that?^

"No. I don't think we should." Crystal responded plainly to Sanoske quesiton, "Pure? How on earth could you even consider even keeping that thing in you? Have you already forgotten everything that it made you and me go through? It not only steal your body, but also tried to steal mine."
"Crys, don't tell me that you don't understand what he did what he did?" Pure asked.
"And so what? Just because I can understand why he did all this doesn't mean we should just give him a pass for it. If it were up to me, I would have that thing removed with the most amount of pain to it. Yet instead I'm going to respect your decision for right now." Crystal then held up Mel's Anti-Hylden Ray Gun for everyone to see, "Yet know that if he makes any wrong moves and does any funny business, I'm blasting it with this gun again, and dragging you two straight to Whitewater to have Ghost remove it once and for all. Does that sound alright with everyone?" She asked, not exactly happy with the position her brother had put her in.

Well, of course Crystal would be... less than thrilled at the Hylden not being immediently ejected out of Pure's body. Beverly cracked a smile, almost laughing.
"Frankly, I agree that he should be removed. But it's Pure's body and I'm not going to impose on it any more than the Hylden has.
That said, I'm a-ok with Pure and the Hylden being dragged to Caritas and having the Hylden forcefully removed."
Sanoske growled affirmatively, looking to Crystal.
^I think I know how you feel. But... let us be honest, if *Pure*, of all digimon, is willing to give that Hylden a chance to live inside him... I say give the Hylden a chance.
This *is* Pure, right? Not the Hylden acting like Pure? Because I had imagined him begging to be exorcised.^

"Yeah I know. This is weird for me as well, and if this was when this whole thing began, I probably would. Yet I had a whole lot of time to think about this. Despite how he may appear, he wasn't doing this out of malice or hatred or anything like that. It was all for her sister sake. One who we will probably never be able to save now." Pure explained.
Crystal walked up to his brother, carefully looking him over as she did so. "By the Pure. You have a spider crawling up your leg."
Pure instantly jumped upon hearing the news, trying desperately to remove the spider that wasn't actually there. "Where is it? Get it off! Get it off!"
"Yeah it's Pure. There's no way that Hylden could act like that." Crystal told Sanoske with a sigh, "Come on guys. Let's just not worry about this now and get Pure something to eat. I'm sure your hungry after everything you've been through." She gave her brother a smile, "Besides. I believe both me and Sanoske have a few things to tell you about our journey."
Pure looked oddly at the two as he seem to have calm down a bit. "Okay?" He responded slightly confused as he had no idea what the two of them wanted to tell him.

Sanoske and Ghost had got a good chuckle in getting Pure to think that there was a spider on him. Well, it seemed that their journey was probably not over yet, considering Mel still had his sister to worry about and Beverly being sure that that wouldn't be the end of it. But Bev's role was finished here.
"Well, looks like I'm done here... heh heh, didn't even need my help. Nice little diversion, I must admit."
Ghost waved at the three and started to fade away again. But slowly. For dramatic purposes. "Bye bye you guys! Hope to see you again soon! Hopefully at Caritas! Saibot plays a mean guitar!"
Ghost was now gone, and Beverly turned, walking away.
"Well, at least this wasn't too time consuming. I'm actually fairly busy at times but anything for my dear Ghost, you know? Don't be a stranger.
And if you want to eat, I know this one guilmon with a mobile restaurant who should be in these Woods..."
^You mean Lilly? We have met her before. I will keep her in mind.^
Sanoske looked to Pure, scratching the back of his head. ^I promise I will not steal anything from there again. Maybe we can head there, Crystal... and, uh... tell Pure everything there.^

"That might be a good idea. Thanks Beverly." Crystal said to the super mega as she walked away. "Though that does leave one problem. I don't know about you two, but I have no idea where it is."
Pure wasn't really paying attention, instead trying to remember what exactly Sanoske meant by he won't try to steal from there again. You can't exactly blame him for having nearly forgotten something like that though. It's been a pretty trying time for him after all. He had more important things on his mind then that his sister's companion is a thief. Though now that Sanoske has reminded him about that.
"You better not. The last thing I want is to deal with that large guilmon." Pure mentioned. He was still curious about what exactly the two of them wanted to tell him. What exactly happened while he was possessed?
Crystal looked over at the two of them as she made up her mind about what they should do next. "Let's head over to the campsite first. We should still have some left over fish and berries for Pure there. Then we can see about trying to track down Lily's restaurant. That sound okay to you two?"
"Uhh... Sure. I guess."

Sanoske nodded, and Beverly and Ghost left. He looked at the two, unsure initially of how he felt. But the fact that the two got along so well once more reminded him of his creator. And, for a few moments, he yearned for that sort of relationship.
He had Crystal, though. He cared for her deeply, and she was indeed the most important thing of his life, but his fear and distaste of his own creator was nothing he could completely push aside. He questioned his own future, and wondered if this relationship was the right thing to do, if there was always the risk of his creator simply ending Sanoske's existence. What ramifications would this have towards Crystal?
^Yes, to the campsite first. It should not be overly difficult to find Lilly's restaurant. I did it easily enough the first time... if one smells hotdogs she is close.^
(((Well, END for Sanoske)))
