A Bad Idea Becomes Worse ||Kai|Giygas|Alastor?||

Kai stepped through the portal... And found himself in the busy streets of Terminus City. Yup, Giygas was right there. Kai hoped that the all-powerful Digimon knew where a sushi place was here- Giygas wasn't exactly patient, by his own admission. If he expected Kai to lead the way to one... Things could get awkward, fast. He would much rather it didn't come to that. At the same time... He fully expected it to. Giygas had been in that mansion for... Who knew how long! Him knowing where a sushi place was in Terminus seemed, unlikely at best.
Kuro wrapped herself around Kai's neck, still obviously weakened by the mock-fight against Giygas. She was lucky. If Giygas had been serious... There wouldn't be a trace of her left. It was a harrowing thought. He tried not to think about it. Shiro, on the other hand, didn't seem to have a care in the world! He trotted along, as if unaware or he didn't care that Giygas had just moments before been utterly furious at him. He was too excited about getting to try this 'sushi' food!

The portal seemed to vanish the moment the last passengers crossed, though Giygas was nowhere to be found. Upon closer inspection, you could see him in an alley, standing outside a shack, an enticing aroma filling the air around him. The shop seemed to made of wood, a little small, and it had about 5 stools as well as a counter that separated the owner, a Gomamon, from the customers. For now, a single Gekomon seemed to occupy the middle stool, wolfing down a large serving of rice with what appeared to be sashimi of dubious origin resting behind him.
The Vandermon simply stood inches from the curtain separating the outside from the inside of the store, tapping his foot impatiently before he would rush in sudden, grabbing the Gekomon by the should and flinging it backwards on the street outside.
"Enough! I'm in a hurry!"
Giygas barked, his metallic arm hooking the underside of one of the stools before he would yank it off the ground with relative ease and toss it at the downed Digimon as it struggled to comprehend what was going on and stand up, hitting it in the back.
"And take your damn chair with you!" He would bark, slamming both of his arms against the counter as the Gomamon could only stare in a mixture of horror, shock and disbelief at the scene that unfolded. In one swift motion, all the sashimi pieces would find themselves inside the construct's maw before he would swallow.
"Ok,basically, I want everything an- oh, hey, you guys actually made it, sweet. Come on, order up."
Naturally, he would hold a finger at the Gomamon's face as he would turn to the trio, offering them seats. Luckily enough 4 was an optimal number.

Shock. Horror. Awe. If the owner of this sushi stand was looking at Kai, those were the emotions he would see on the buy's face. And repentance. It was his fault. If he hadn't gone to the woods, not gone to the mansion, not gotten Giygas riled up... The Digimon would probably not have been here, disrupting business, making demands. As much as Kai wanted to distance himself from this... It was too late. He was already associated with the powerful Digimon. He and his partners took the offered seats, a look of pure atonement on Kai's face. A silent promise to come back and pay for everything, once Giygas had left. A look of shame.
"Alright! I'll have everything!" Shiro exclaimed, either not understanding or not caring what had just transpired. Kai broke a little inside. He planned to pay for everything they bought... But paying for literally everything was not exactly within his means! "I will pass." Kuro said. Even if she had been hungry, everything that was happening had made her lose any semblance of appetite. Kai agreed with her. No sushi for him. Giygas and Shiro could help themselves all they liked. "No, no, I'm fine. Thank you, though." Hopefully, choosing not to eat wouldn't set Giygas off again.

Giygas would squint before clapping at the Gomamon to get its attention, then motioning for it to hurry before he would get comfy on his seat. He would turn to Kai, his signature grin returning as he would rest his head against the chainmail wrapped around his fist.
"Aren't you gloomy? Relax, will ya? I can afford to buy this entire town if I really wanted to, so wrecking a street or two isn't an issue. Let a guy have some fun."
Giygas would grumble, tapping his metallic claws against the counter. It didn't seem like he was particularly bothered with his actions, nor the fact that Terminus was the same more of less. If anything it felt a little dull.
"How long until someone recognizes me and a fight happens? It probably won't, but I know someone from my team should be arriving soon, I think. It might have been a pager error or something. Well, at least this place looks like it always used to look, so a small victory for me in retrospect. They NEVER figured out how to progress from here without me."
After a short pause, followed by a sigh, Giygas would go unusually quiet, fiddling with his food as it came out, but not really bothering to eat any of it. Something was in his mind it seemed.

"This is so unlike Garm. You think he's okay? You don't think he's a Tweek clone, do you?"
"It's Garm, I'm certain... you of all digimon should know that I know Garm well enough to know if it's him or some copy."
"Yeah, yeah... the whole butt thing..."
"It's more than that... and don't say 'the butt thing'."
"What else do I call it, Mistress? Your fetish for Garm's butt?"
"...when I come up with a dignified phrase for it I'll tell you...now hush..."
Beverly wondered what Garm wanted to do here. He said he would come over to Terminus, and wanted to meet up with her at some point. He refused to tell her what he wanted over the phone, so all Bev had was that this was some sort of surprise. What, though, she had no idea.
As the Galaclivamon walked down the streets of Terminus, she mentally chatted with her familiar, also residing inside Beverly. Perhaps she should call him, she asked herself several times. But she had to put her trust in Garm to know what he was doing.
Her walk had led her to a particular smell of food. And a scared Geckomon, but Beverly was never the arbiter of justice.
"Are you really going to eat there, of all places?"
"Yeah, just a bit to pass the time. If I get sick I can always sue."
Not minding the others at the restaurant, but noticed there were no more seats. At least, the only seat that would be left was thrown out into the street. She looked around at the shack for a time, waiting for the Gomamon to tend to Giygas. Once he was free, Beverly would speak to him. "Let's see... I'd like some tea and... hmm... surprise me with anything. I'll let you choose what I eat. No rush, I can wait."
She didn't seem to mind standing around. She could probably make a chair but... eh. Standing was fine.

The Vandermon shot a sneer over his shoulder at the uninvited pest that couldn't grasp the simple of concept of "the restaurant is full,go somewhere else.". Opting to stand behind him instead and order tea at a sushi place. Honestly, Giygas had reserved everything, tea included, so none of that was happening. Not in this life time at least.
After a series of grunts and annoyed looks, the commander decided to confront the issue directly, turning around as he hunched over, glaring at the uninvited guest.
"Look, I can tell you're bad at reading the mood. But the tea and food you ordered? It ain't happening. I said I wanted everything this store had, and everything I shall have." Giygas cracked a sly grin, tapping his metallic claws against the counter as the Gomamon rushed a plate near his hand. "You can have it from the bin when I'm inevitably bored with it, though."
It wasn't his usual insult filled rant, but Giygas knew that no one would probably recognize him, so there was no need to boast. In all honesty, he just wanted to have his fun and then he would leave in peace again to check on the pager feedback. Though, something about the strange Digimon felt off to him.

Beverly looked at the cybernetic creature as he made a fuss over her being here. Although she didn't consider the place "full" considering the only free chair was in the street, probably thrown by this guy in front of her.
But something about his demeanor seemed... familiar. Beverly never met the guy before, but she did vaguely spot some sort of symbol on his back as she walked by. She paid it no mind at first, but upon recollection, Ghost figured it out.
"Hey, Mistress, that symbol... that's the Hakainushi symbol!"
"And judging by how this guy looks..."
Her thought was interrupted by something, looking like she heard somewhere that no one else heard. Seemingly from nowhere, a ringing cell phone appeared in one of her clawed hands, answering it.
"Hello... Garm?
Oh, so now you're ready?
There? Alright... any hints as to why you're dragging me through Terminal City?
No, it's alright, I'm just teasing...
Oh, nothing. I was going to get something to eat but some Hakai guy I ran into bought all the food there. Hold on..."
Bev drew her attention towards Giygas. "You wouldn't be Master Giygas, are you? Or... whatever embellishment you gave yourself. Not to mean that as an offense, I'm guilty of the same thing."

Giygas narrowed his single eye in agitation, tensing up as the other would pick up the phone and strike a conversation ever so casually as he was speaking. He seemed to struggle to keep his temper in check as he shoved a handful of shrimp in his mouth.
"Oh, no. Go ahead. I'd hate to keep you from your business. Just pretend I'm not here."
That was until he heard Hakainushi being mentioned casually, his eyes widening as he seemed to flinch for a moment before he would crack an naturally wide grin, turning to fully face the intruder. Truly enough, she knew who he was, making him narrow his eyes in what seemed to be an extremely smug expression.
"God." He would mumble simply, pausing for a moment. "God Giygas. But, lord Giygas or just King also worked."He would add, bringing a hand to stroke his chin with interest.
"I take it you are familiar with our little... establishment then. That's quite interesting, most people seem to have simply forgotten, which only makes my job a lot more interesting. See, I'm a man who can't enjoy cheap thrills any more. I need spectacle to captivate my attention."
Though that would hardly make sense without context, Giygas would crack his neck as he would stand up, his hands behind his back as a grin remained stretched across his face.

Beverly gave a slight nod and nonchalantly replied to Garm on the phone. "God Giygas...
...yeah, it looks that way. I guess I'm just unfortunate.
...you can come, just be discreet when you get here.
...It's alright... I was eager to see what you had planned for me too.
...I love you too, honey. I'll see you soon. *mwah*"
Beverly hung up the phone, and it then vanished into thin air. The half dragon super-mega crossed her arms and sighed.
"Look... I more than understand the whole 'I'm super powerful and bored' angle. I've been there myself. That's why I always say get a hobby.
But given the circumstances... I'm right in assuming that you want to fight me, right?"

At this point Giygas would go back to finishing whatever was left from his order, grunting as agitation began to set in once more when the phone call resumed. This was why he created the virus in the first place. This was why he became a terrorist all those years ago.
He shot the half dragon an unimpressed look, holding the expression in silence for a few moments before he would burst into a fit of manic laughter, rubbing his single eye with a hand before he would grin widely, still somewhat snickering to himself.
"I already had my fair share of bullying others today, but let's be real here, why would a god bother with... a bug? I mean..." He would curl his fingers, palms facing the Digimon. "Sure, 'fiight' you. Are you even listening to what you're saying?"
Giygas would mock, wiping his mouth on the side of his arm. This was almost embarrassing.

Beverly had to raise an eyebrow when Giygas went into a guffaw about Beverly assuming that he wanted to fight her.
"I thought that was a thinly veiled attempt to pick a fight with me. Looks like I was wrong."
Suddenly, she clasped her hands together, smiling. His boasts didn't bother her at all. She wasn't doubting Giygas' power. She may be powerful but she never considered herself unbeatable. For all she knew he was stronger than she was. Of course, he was underestimating her power, mocking her for being a 'bug' to him. But her man was waiting for her and she would not disappoint.
Her tone of voice had a feeling of relief to it. It was almost ecstatic.
"That means I can actually go meet up with my boyfriend!"
Beverly walked off, calling on the phone again to reach Garm.
"Haha, looks like I was wrong. I'm heading over there right now! Don't cancel anything!"

"Haha, aren't you lucky! Go on then!"
Giygas would exclaim luckily, turning away from the dragon before his expression would twist in a scorn. There was one thing he hated more than being disrespected and happiness and joy and that was relationships. Not only had... whoever that was broken every rule in the book and made a complete mockery of him, now she wanted to run away and carry on business as normal. Sadly for her, the Vandermon wasn't going to stand by that.
"Upgrade."
He would mumble rather calmly to himself, his tail extending so that it was in front of him now, the tip parting to reveal an oddly shaped weapon that seemed to glow red. Giygas would swirl the liquid left in his glass, looking skeptical.
"See that Digimon over there, dear Kai? She seemed to knew me. She knew what I am capable of. Did that stop her of making a complete mockery of me? Of Hakainushi? Do you still see her? I hate Digimon like that. I hate humans like that. I... I honestly utterly despise anyone like that."
Giygas would down the contents of his cup, smashing the cup against the counter as it shattered. At the same time, his weapon would fire, a red beam streaking the entire alley from the store onwards through the middle, spanning a rather long distance into the city.
"Catharsis."
Once that word was mumbled, the areas the beam hit would instantly burst into a violent explosion, giving the impression the entire street was just bombed to oblivion in a massive, destructive glory.
"Do you still see her?"
The Vandermon mumbled, not turning to look at the mayhem he had created despite the flames almost reaching him at this point. Just like the good old days. It seemed that the world needed a grim reminder of who was really in charge, and Giygas would happily oblige.

It figured that this was far too easy. Considering he was... and still is a Hakai member, despite their seeming disappearance, Bev told herself that she should have expected something.
Hearing the glass shatter and some mumbling (although she didn't make out what exactly he said), she turned back just in time to see some tail laser pointed at her before firing. Taking a leap straight into the air, and using her wings to slow her descent, the draconic super-mega saw the destruction he caused.
"Never mind... I seemed to have pissed him off... yeah, that explosion you heard is him. I'll take care of this, snookums... see you soon. "
Once more, the phone vanished, and Beverly landed on the ground gracefully.
"You really should make up your mind as to whether or not you want to fight me. Or did you expect me to cower in fear or to kiss the ground you stand on because you're God Giygas of the Hakainushi? Sorry, but I'm not that type of girl.
Normally I'd be all in for a battle, but I had an appointment I was eagerly waiting for today, so take some solace in the fact that you've pushed my schedule back. Now, are going to actually fight me or pussyfoot around? If you are going to fight... I'll be outside town.
I want to shop here again one day."

Things had gone from bad to- Kai didn't actually know what they had gone to. In fact, where had everything gone!? The entire block was missing after one attack from Giygas! But... Despite that, the dragon lady still wanted to fight? WHat the heck had he gotten himself caught up in!? Was she strong enough to fight with Giygas!? He wanted to go home!
But somehow, it seemed like a better idea to take cover. He wasn't the only one with the idea. He dove over the counter, where the Gomamon shopkeeper huddled terrified. What the heck was going on? Kai peeked out over the countertop. Oh, she wanted to take it outside of the city? Kai hoped and prayed Giygas would agree. Then Kai would give Gomamon as much as he could to pay for the damages to the shop, and hightail it for the Trailmon Terminal! Even if he had to drag Shiro along screaming!

Giygas sighed. Why did everyone always dodge his ambush attack? What the purpose of having such a weapon if it would always end up missing its target? Tweaks were needed, right after he dealt with the situation here. His unnamed target seemed to still be keen on fighting him, promoting him to come across his live long dilemma once more - if she was too brave or too stupid. He swiftly concluded she was the later.
"Oh, very impressive. I honestly don't care, but tell you what, I'll respect your request."
Giygas would muse, his blades, as well as shoulder spines extending before being super heated, ready for battle. He always struggled to find balance between his energy blades and solid blades, but then again now was a perfect time to practice.
"I'll leave the mall intact."
"Adrent Blaze!"
Giygas would bark before he would let loose, unleashing his blades before charging forward and unleashing a flurry of wild slashes, aimed at not only the half dragon Digimon but everything around the vicinity as well. That's to your rapid, yet erratic movements, he didn't exactly have to aim to cover a wide area and strike his target. Shortly after, the force from the slashes would ignite the air around him briefly with each strike.
