"Mistress, should I come out and help?"
"Not quite yet, but be ready."
This reminded her of her past... how Beverly had this knack for picking fights. While that wasn't her intention this time, Giygas probably saw it that way.
Beverly summoned her staff and tried to keep out of the blades reach, and blocking with said staff when necessary. Beverly may have had her Ragna blade but knew well enough that her sword skills was at best passable. And Giygas wasn't your run of the mill baddie.
"Sudden Thrust!"
Maroon spears would shoot out from around Bev in such a way that it would block a slash or two, but she would use this time to attempt to grab Giygas and throw him out the alley... and hopefully closer to the city borders, if not outside it.

(Looks like Kai is skipping again) Giygas groaned, why wasn't he hitting anything today? Was he really that rusty, or did his opponent just possess more skill than he thought. Truth be told, he couldn't get rusty because he was a machine, unless literally in which case it was also impossible thanks to his advanced augmentations (tm).
The Vandermon let out a sly whistle when the other Digimon would use a technique to counter his slashes, pushing his arms slightly back as a wide sneer would stretch across his face. It seemed that this was a pathetic attempt to get close to him, but that was the unaesthetic Digimon's first mistake.
"Graviton field! Spiral Art!"
Giygas would bark loudly, pointing the palm of his seemingly organic arm towards his target as it would glow a hazy purple, sending out a powerful gravitational blast to repel her away from him, before he would lower a single finger, holding his palm outstretched to cause gravity to increase downwards, attempting to slam her down as he repelled her had the attacks connected.
"Kneel Art!"
"Improve your skills. Then come find me again."

(((I'm not even going to risk switching profiles with the browser issues I'm having.)))
Bev couldn't get the throw in. And her failure to do so led to her getting hit herself, getting knocked way by some gravity attack. When said gravity went downward, though, she was sent to the ground.
Seeing this as a win, Giygas seemed content to just tell her to come back later. However, she would stand back up against the gravity. It took effort, but Beverly, despite her relative weakness for close combat, was physically strong in this form. Not to mention that such weight was not something Bev wasn't used to. She wasn't even her full size.
"You literally tried to kill me not even a minute ago, and you have the gall to do the 'come back later' bit?
Maybe your reputation should also include comedic skills."
She began walking towards Giygas, creating footprints in the ground below her feet if the gravity was still under effect.
"I really hope you aren't running away, though. I'd hate to think God Giygas would cower away from a 'bug'."

Giygas started to clap slowly, his tail laying down, much like an anchor as he would whistle at the display. He supposed the Digimon had some sort of counter mechanism or perhaps even gravity of her own given her size. He had to suppress a chuckle there, trying not to completely break character.
"Don't suppose you have a name. I am trying to murder you, but that's no excuse to be r-u-d-e."
The Vandermon wasn't exactly sure how to progress from here. He could use a stronger attack, but that would likely end the fight too quickly. In reality, he wasn't offended or upset or any of that. He just wanted to destroy something for the sake of it, but the longer it dragged out, the more agitated he seemed to be getting.
"Why would I go through the effort of running away when I can just teleport? You're pretty naive if you think you can fight me in those conditions, but I'll humour you."
Giygas cracked a grin, both arms enveloped in red energy, indicating UPGRADE was being used again before he would slam his arm on the ground, increasing gravity to the maximum he could utilize in an area around him.
"Dust Art!"

The second Gravity press was almost unbearable. Beverly was using all her strength to just stand. What was she to do? She wondered this, not for lack of options, but for pacing. She did not want to exhaust her hand so early in the match for attacks that may or may not connect. But just looking at her, she wasn't looking at all worried.
"Lady... Beverly... that's my name. Mistress works... as well."
Despite seemingly at a disadvantage, she seemed to give a similar grin as Giygas did.
"Poison Blow..."
Gas would form around the mechanical maniac before blasting into him like a bomb should he stay there. He would be blasted up once, knocked off his feet and straight into the air. Then into one side of the alley, and then to the other. She didn't know if he would be dazed by the effects of her Poison Blow, being disorientation and an ill feeling, but she wanted to break his concentration. Should this break the gravity, she would begin stretching, keeping an eye on her opponent.

"You can still function? Colour me impressed, though I prefer my regular colour scheme. I designed it, you know."
Giygas would mock as always, catching wind of the gas forming around him as he would observe with interest, drawing a deep breath. It didn't seem to have any effect on him thanks to his nature, but he didn't exactly pick up on its properties right away either.
"Cough... toxins... can- Zehahaha, you can't be serious. Poison can't hurt me... oh..." The Vandermon would let out a sigh, looking solemn for a moment. "This is explosive gas, isn't it? Gr-"
Needless to say, despite the damage he received from the heat and pressure released being minuscule, it didn't spare him from the effects of being tossed around like a rag doll. It took him a few seconds, but the gravity would lower before dispersing. Meanwhile,Giygas would twitch, struggling to pull himself up as a loud, mechanical clink echoed through the alley.
"Enough! Enough of you. Enough of this shit! Enough of too much wasabi on my food. Just. ENOUGH!"
It seemed that he was finally pissed, not caring about the city, the fairness of the fight,or even Kai anymore. The construct brought him arms in the air, the purple aura associated with his gravity attacks engulfing his whole body, before bringing both down suddenly.
At first nothing would happen, but soon enough several bright dots would appear on the sky, getting progressively bigger as time passed, a whistling sound piercing the air soon enough.Meteorites. Multiple of them, heading all over the battle ground. It didn't seem like he was even bothering to aim, though they would be heavily concentrated on Beverly's location. He hoped to strike her from the impact shockwaves regardless.
"Meteora!"

It was quite the relief to feel the effect of the gravity let up. It seemed Giygas was finally understanding that Beverly wouldn't fall so easily. And getting frustrated, since now he summoned meteors to strike at the city.
She sighed and then whistled loudly, as if signalling someone, before pointing up.
"If you want my full attention... screw it... I need to take care of this..."
From atop a building a distance behind Bev there was a red laser fired up at one of the meteors, breaking it up into smaller chunks. Said beam was from Garm, the MutantGaomon, Beverly's Boyfriend. Beverly, meanwhile, flew up, breaking up the smaller chunks with her Imperial Laser before her and Garm went to the other meteors. They were too large to destroy completely given time constraints, but they could certainly make the pieces smaller.

A shining figure flew to the scene almost too fast for either Giygas or Bev to see. In the time it took for Bev and Garm to break apart the meteors, he had already snatched up the Tamer and his Digimon before carrying him out of rain of debris. Once the were out of range, he landed, revealing himself to be a gold Alphamon, and set the tamer on the ground. "You need to get out of here before you get killed. This battle can only continue to escalate," he warned.
"Of course I have no intention of interrupting them, just keeping all destruction to a minimum if I can." This Alphamon had heard things about both Beverly and Giygas, so he knew neither were to be underestimated. He also knew that if he actually participated in the battle it could only escalate further and/or faster. Unfortunately he was already late to the scene, so he was unsure how many innocents were already caught in the crossfire. Hopefully they already had begun to evacuate, or already managed to do so. He couldn't possibly protect them all at once after all.

He was dead. He was so totally dead. Kai stared up... Was that a meteor dropping on his head? What kind of battle was this! Since when could Digimon drop meteors? Especially ones that size! But... As he was staring at his impending doom... Suddenly, he wasn't. What? A Digimon, clad in gold, had rescued him! "Thank you! But wha-" But, before he could ask about the Gomamon who had been hiding with him, the Digimon was gone. He'd have to trust that it would save the shopowner too.
Right. Leaving. Kai quickly scooped up Shiro, before the Digimon could figure out what had just happened and run back to the battle, like Kai knew he would. Twin Digimon in hand, the boy ran straight to the Trailmon terminal, and not once looked back. He wasn't the only one trying to get the hell outta Dodge! Even though most were scattering to the far corners of the Digital World, Kai was sure that when he got on the train back to the human world... Not all the Digimon on it would have human partners.

Giygas raised a finger, parting his lips to say something, before he would snap suddenly towards the blur that saved Kai and his Digimon, gritting his teeth. A knight? They still existed after all this time? How boring. Oh well, he supposed he didn't want the boy to be killed just yet anyway, but seeing as he fled, the Vandermon made a mental note to track him down and set things straight later. After all, he didn't ask any of them to follow him, well technically he did, but they should witness the glory of the metal empire.
Meanwhile as the battle progressed, it seemed that Beverly had some back up. The pathetic kind given that they didn't even manage to scatter the meteorites he had summoned in full and he wasn't even calling down the big ones just yet. Giygas gave a toothy, mocking yawn as destruction enveloped the area around him, the air soon filling with the cries of various native Digimon and tamers as the sky turned black from the smog. That crappy knight better be fast.
"Calling for help already? Tsk, tsk. I haven't even started trying yet. Imagine if I unleashed my true form... in fact..."
Giygas cracked a wide grin once more, extending his arms on either side, his cap flaring behind him as he would eye Beverly.
"Meet me at the outskirts of the city. I would hate to break my promise to you. After all, I am a man of my word and I enjoy the mall as well."
Giygas would cackle before he would vanish without a trace. Teleportation always seemed like that, but it wasn't exactly stealth. Now standing at the edge of the city, he would pause for a moment, focusing as the sky around him would darken, storm clouds forming in an instant as the earth seemed to tremble. Suddenly, lighting would strike his location, a blade wrapped in chains materializing in front of him as he would grab the handle with both arms, waiting for his opponent to arrive. The sheer size of the blade wasn't visible as most of it was buried underground, but from the size of the handle, it looked like it was longer than Giygas.

Beverly gave a slight sigh of relief as the knight came. The more for damage control, the better. Unfortunately, the debris still did some damage to the city, but the brunt of it was taken care of.
Giygas finally decided to take this outside, confident in his abilities, whereas thinking that Beverly needed help taking care of the meteors. But she was still not trying to show off everything she could do, as well as was concentrating more on taking out the meteors rather than showing off.
Once Giygas teleported away, Beverly landed next to Garm, stroking his chin.
"Will you be alright?"
"Of course, honey. Hey, Lilly is set up around here, isn't she?"
---
A few minutes later, Beverly would arrive to where Giygas waited, flying from above while finishing off a hotdog.
"So glad I ran into a friend of mine before I got here. Makes the best hotdogs. Anyway... I guess by your look you're going to go all out. I probably should as well. "
Light enveloped the Galaclivamon, however this wasn't any kind of digivolution, as it was clearly the same body getting larger. Within moments, Beverly was now around 30 feet tall.
"Don't think this is some way of intimidating you, God Giygas. This is merely my actual size. And now... I guess I'll move first..."
Quickly firing off 3 energy spheres, they would wouldn't directly hit Giygas, but instead fire off a flurry of various energy shots of fire, wind, ice, and thunder. She didn't move from her spot, however, as she wanted to see what he could do. That sword in the ground looked mighty large...

Giygas simply shrugged, clenching his sword a bit tighter before puling it from the earth, revealing the sheer size it possessed. Naturally, he couldn't help but stare in amusement at Beverly's improved form. So that's what made her so formidable before, she also wasn't using her full power.
Of course, as he was about to say something, the other would fire off the first attack. Ladies first as usual, but he wasn't ready yet, that was distasteful, so Giygas choose to attempt an intimidation tactic of his own, even if it meant blowing up a useful technique early. His barrier could be overcharged so often, making him suffer immense physical damage, but negating all energy attacks fora short time. This would of course disable his barrier as well, but for now that was irrelevant seeing as he would transform soon.
The Vandermon swung his sword around him in a mighty cleave, not really dispersing the energy attack at all, but thanks to the fact his super charged barrier allowed him to take no damage, it would appear as if he did just that. Though, if Beverly was watching carefully, it would be painfully obvious he had used his UPGRADE technique thanks to the lighting around him arms changing to red once more.
"Sinful, sinful. I wasn't in full power yet, don't be so eager. Now, it's time for us to fight like men! Or ladies... or ladies who dress like men, I really am not sure."
With that the chains covering the blade would seemingly dissolve, a deafening engine roar filling the air as a massive wave of powerful would surge through the air, indicating Egali was active.
"For yours truly it's transmogrification time."
Giygas would say calmly holding the blade directly in front of him before he would suddenly spin it around, a circle forming around him before he would seemingly skewer himself through the chest. For a moment, he would cough some of his data, staggering before the area around him would light up in a blinding flash.
"GOD TIER!"
As soon as the light disappeared the same Vandermon would be standing in place, though this time he would be slightly taller and his posture would be better, indicating he went through some alterations. His entire body would be covered in a black Digizoid armour with purple crystallized sections that would glow dimly. A massive cape would flatter behind him as a crown would be present on his head. He now also had a shoulder pad on either shoulder, the blade clutched tightly with his seemingly organic arm as mechanical claw would be outstretched towards the other tauntingly. His power level would certainly seem different now as well as his usually goofy demeanor would disappear as would his grin for once.
"Let's see if you can fight me now. But, I must admit you have proven to be worthy to see my true form."
The ground below him would seem to shift occasionally, almost as if something was tempering with the world's code, giving it a fluid appearance, though Giygas wouldn't attack just yet, instead he would wait would the effects of his new form to set in properly, as well as take advantage of any intimation caused.

So Bev jumped the gun a bit. She didn't feel bad about it, at least she didn't try to attack him from behind like he did. At least, that was her justification.
Giygas had his own transformation to get through, however there seems to be more done with his posture and his stature than a normal physical change. The fact that he had to stab himself to do so was interesting, but not overly jarring. If that's how he powered up, that's fine. Certainly he wasn't going to actually kill himself.
Not wishing to get caught off guard by the shockwave in case he would take advantage of any stumbling, Bev took to the air by several yards right as she felt it, bracing herself. Her eyes was still on Giygas, and then she summoned her staff again, this time forming a black blade made out of a pocket dimension, the Ragna Blade, at one end of it. As she did this, she spoke.
"One last thing... you wouldn't happen to know of the ones named Majin and Shadow, do you? I believe they were former Hakai. He was the last one I fought all out on in this form.
Regrettably, Majin is no longer among the living. And I respected him too. However, I'm stronger than I was then, and I hope you give me a fight like he did.
Regardless of the outcome, Drinks are on me once we are done."
Beverly took flight towards Giygas, aiming to slash at him with her Ragna Blade

Giygas maintained his stance, seemingly savouring his own power. God tier wasn't something he often used, so naturally it took some time getting adjusted, even if he knew how to control his power at this stage. It was always an odd feeling.
He would narrow his eyes at the mention of Majin. He did remember him. Including what he did. Had Beverly taken him out? If so, then she did the Hakainushi a favour unwillingly. He had long been on their target list, but no one seemed to bother. Even Giygas who was the most affected by him deserting the group didn't seem to care seeing as them ignoring him frustrated him and brought him close to madness.
"Ah, yes. The person who's stupid mistake cost me my eye. I recall being asked to kill him at some point, but I'm far to busy to bother with some edgy teen. He's an enemy of Hakainushi,or was at least. Can't say his death brings me happiness or sadness either. I'm indifferent to him, though some solace finds its way in my core knowing he kicked the bucket."
Giygas could give a soft sigh, even though he was supposedly serious. For some reason his more... organic nature was getting the better of him today. He didn't seem ultra keen on the fight either, but as the other charged, he readied his blade.
"Drinks sound good."
Giygas gave Egali a spin, aligning it towards the direction of the incoming strike before his mechanical eye would flash red as he would trust forward once, creating a shockwave as his blade seemed to slice the air. The attack would miss Beverly, allowing him to slash at him and causing him to grit his teeth as he stumbled backwards a bit. It seemed like it had an effect on him, but Giygas simply wanted the other to get close. He would grasp his blade firmly before following with a technique much like Adrent Blaze from earlier, though this time his slashes would be far faster and far more destructive given that they seemed to slice the ground on contact, sending massive shockwaves with each hit. It would be painfully obvious that the sword didn't seem to have an issue slicing through things as if they were air, in fact, if one looked closer it seemed to be slashing away parts of the area's code.
"Infinity Ganglion!"

She vaguely remembered that Majin wasn't on Hakai's good side, but seeing that Giygas was perfectly fine with his death wasn't much of a surprise. She had no reason to suspect that they were at all good friends. Still, Bev didn't want to kill Majin. His own power and madness got the better of him, and she had no choice but to put him down.
Beverly managed to get one hit in, but she was close enough to him for his Infinity Ganglion. Knowing how fast he slashed his swords, as well as her size, she knew she couldn't stay close to him. She already conceded that Giygas was better at close range most likely. She jumped back, bracing herself against the shockwaves she couldn't outright dodge.
"Imperial Laser!"
She countered with your standard, run of the mill beam attacks. Not flashy, but a good way to measure up Giygas' defensive capabilities.
