Admittingly, Yvonne was actually caught off guard by how stoic the young girl was. Strange... very strange. She still remembered how Nikumo was basically freaking out when they first officially met eachother... yet this girl barely even budged. The carbuncle-like Digimon for a brief moment to brush off a slight bit of dust that was in the fluffy wool around her neck, she then gazing back to Kyoko. "I don't know if I should be impressed... but you are certainly doing a remarkable job at keeping your cool dear." She smiled slightly, actually quite impressed for once. "An admirable trait if I should say so myself. I can already see great things coming out of someone like you."
Kai began to explain some details abou the Digital World, mentioning that is to the unprepared a dangerous domain. Indeed. It is a land from the meek fall and the strong rise. "The Digital World is a land of extremes. There are towns and cities yes... but beyond those towns and cities is an untamed land. One that has spelled many a gravestone for the unprepared." She mused for a moment about how the Digital World was created... and to be honest, not even SHE knew. "There's many a creation story for how the Digital World came to be, but that answer is for beyond even the most intelligent of Digimon. I would know... I used to be a bit of a scholar before I was reborn."
The Chromiamon for a moment dwelled on her past. That was a long time ago... She was essentially back to square one, abeit wiser. What would she do with her new life now? It would certainly be tangled between the fates of both Nikumo and her new sister... In a way, she could relate with Kyoko now. New roads have opened up... its just a matter of what to take. "Kai. You said you've been a tamer for how long exactly? A few months you say? What do you think of your new role? My own tamer, Nikumo Takara, has only been one for a little less than 2 weeks now, and while I've done my best to guide her... she is foolish. It would be interesting to hear the opinion of a bit more seasoned tamer. What do people like you three seek to accomplish with your partnership?"

The fact her dilemma had been pointed out by Yvonne caused Kyoko to simply look away. Having your emotions locked away was not a fun thing to experience -- then again, she had done it on impulse and out of fear, but that was a story for another time.
As they began to explain about the digital world, Kyoko remained quiet, eyes fixed and unblinking upon the group in question. The questions were posed, and the statements too, and Kyoko could only remain quiet and think.
"Life is... hectic. I don't have... many friends... so I think... square one will be that... I want to be friends with my partner. From there... well... the stories will unfold... as they are meant too."
That being said, maybe she could sort out her own feelings and past with time. Having someone to talk to and be her balancing board would no doubt be good for the girl.
"... Someday... I want to go... to the digital world... with this digimon. I want to show her my world... and then I want to see hers."

Phew. Kai wasn't the odd one out for being shocked. If even the Digimon found her to be oddly calm, then maybe Kai wasn't the one being completely and ridiculously surprised. That was good, at least. Or maybe he was still way more shocked than he should be. Just because she was too calm didn't mean he was calm enough! Ah! No! Bad Kai! Now is not the time for being self-depreciative! There is a fresh tamer here in need of knowledge! What did he know...? Oh, he'd been asked a question. Hmm, how did he think of it...?
"Well... It's weird. Half a year ago, I'd never heard of Digimon. Now... It seems like I meet a new one every week, if not more! If I had to say... I don't really think I have a goal. We have a goal," he corrected, "Mostly I've been trying to help all of these new tamers I run into, so that this," He gestured toward his arm, "Doesn't happen to them."
He looked to Kuro and Shiro for help. Should he have a goal? Did they have a goal? As long as Kuro and Shiro were fed, and hidden... He didn't really think beyond that. "I, for one, make it a goal to keep this one out of trouble." Kuro said, clearly talking about her brother. Shiro, on the other hand, was clearly distracted. "Shiro! Books aren't food!" Kai had to call. "Bah. It tasted bad, anyways." Shiro muttered, spitting out the corner of the book he'd been chewing on. Yeesh, Kai couldn't bring that one anywhere, it seemed.

Yvonne tilted her head in mild confusion at Kyoko's statement. She didn't really have a bond perse with Nikumo nor her sister... it was too soon for that. Still, she wasn't a compassionate Digimon, least not anymore. It wasn't that she didn't want friends... but the concept scared Yvonne, enough to cause her to wince uncomfortably for a moment. "I wish you luck there Kyoko. I... I don't have quite the same relationship with my own tamer. Not yet. Accomplices is the best way to describe it."
To say that Yvonne was almost in a way disappointed at Kai's answer was an understatement, she humming in curiosity at the broken arm owned by the tamer. "Yes... I suppose that is one way to go about things. Without guidance, very unfortunate things could occur to some of these "new" tamers. Like your arm I suppose." She'd comment, an intrigued look on her face. That couldn't be just it... right? "Still... there has to be SOMETHING that someone like you would want to do? You humans who are lucky enough to become Digidestined now have something that people could only dream of... The ability to have power."
The Rookie level began to monologue, almost unaware for a moment that she essentially speaking her own mind at this point. "Power is something that has carved both our worlds. Regardless of world, it is what decides wars and who makes the rules. People can get away with alot of things against those who are powerless... and this is no exception with the Digital World. Its unfair yes, but this is how life works." She began to scowl, a cold look on her face, her eyes almost looking like she had a fire in them. To say that she didn't have some bad memories of her last life would be a lie. Sitting alone on that rock for two weeks, only to starve to death... She would have those idiots' necks if she could. "I don't want to ever allow myself to be taken advantage again. This world is a cruel place. Those with power make like bandits while the innocent get the short end of the stick, and to be frank... it disgusts me."
The Chromiamon took a deep breath, the look on her face calming down from silent rage to an almost pathetic look. She put a hand by her forehead, a headache coming on. "I am drawing off topic. I apologize. I am acting like a brat."

Kyoko was somewhat lost amongst the whole statements by the digimon and tamers as a whole. It was clear to her that many things needed to be learned before she decided to do such a thing as go to the digital world.
"Um..." The gestures that one of them was giving was clear that they weren't feeling well, but... "I don't know if... it's much, but..." She trails off for a moment. "Perhaps... you'd all like to join... me... for tea... or something...?"
It might ease the tension and headache and help them all bond a bit. They were all tamers... so they might as well be friends, right?

It wasn't the first time Kai's lack of ambition had led to hostility- And Kai was sure it would not be the last. "I'm sorry, but... I don't even know what I'll do when I graduate high school! You can say that I have some sort of power... But I don't want that! I just want..." What did he want? Kai... couldn't say. To be better than his brother? No... Not really. Why was it that he tried so hard, anyways? Did he have a goal...? Or... Was he just doing all this to keep his mind off his lack of a goal... He... Didn't know.
"Tea... Would be nice." Kai said finally. "Would you like to invite your tamer, Yvvone?" He was curious to meet the other Tamer, who he presumed was nearby. Though... From the sounds of it... Kai probably wouldn't learn anything he didn't already know. Well, in any case, meeting new tamers was nice. "Blech. Stewed leaves!" Shiro... Was, as usual, not a fan of tea. Kuro, on the other hand, enjoyed it... Though she didn't say anything to that effect.

"Do what you wish Kai. I have no right to judge you." She'd respond to Kai's comment, perhaps a bit disappointed in his ideals. Perhaps it was best they stopped talking about all this nonsense... Maybe go back to more... aquaintable subjects? She politely nodded at the young girl's offer, a slight smile on her face. "Tea sounds lovely Kyoko. Perhaps then I could aquaint you all with Nikumo and my sister? They would probably be a friendlier bunch than I could ever be."
The Chromiamon conciously willed back on her holosuit, the rabbit-like Digimon's form being replaced back with that of the white-haired girl she originally met them with. She took a moment to make sure her hair wasn't frayed or anything. "Where would you all prefer to meet? I assume we'll be outside, so give me a moment and I can get my two dorks and meet you there."

The fact one of the digimon had rejected her offers simply caused her to nod. She moves to put the egg in the bag, pulling out a piece of paper and a pen and writing down the same directions at the top and bottom. Slowly ripping it apart, she handed both papers to each of them.
"My home is here... How about... tomorrow at... noon?" It would be empty, and they could at least have time to openly talk about these creatures.
"You can... bring your digimon... too. I don't... live with... anyone, so..."
EDIT: ((I decided to switch the location to her place even though there is a legit place here where I live where they have private cafe rooms, which is where the inspiration comes from. Hopefully that's okay!!)

Tommorow at noon? Well, there was no school... He took the paper. "That works for me, I guess. Though... A cafe doesn't seem like an appropriate place for discussing Digimon." Especially not at noon. Near lunchtime. It also... Seemed wrong to leave her with such little knowledge for nearly a whole day... Well, it would hopefully work out somehow. "If your egg hatches before then... Digimon can eat anything humans can, so don't worry about that." He had... Been chewed out once before for not explaining that. Also for not mentioning spirit users... But, he still felt that the humans which turned into Digimon were more of a, "Seeing is believing" type thing.

So meet at Kyoko's home? Seemed like a good idea. Would be easier to handle reckless Digimon like her sister easier in a enviroment like that rather than a public area. "Very well Kyoko-chan."She's politely accept the piece of paper, she pocketing it. "I am sure Nikumo would appreciate meeting you both. She's an awfully lonely thing... her only actual friend as far as I can tell is another tamer with a rather brash Gazimon X. Weird folk, but harmless otherwise."
Well, it looked like that for now, their little conversation was done. They would be able to chat later... perhaps Kyoko will have some time to think to herself about all this? Either way, it was a healthy idea for them to for now part ways. "We'll see you tomorrow I suppose. I plan to stay and maybe check out a few books... Human literature is something that I still wish to brush up on, but never really had the chance to." She'd say to the two tamers and Kai's partners, she politely bowing. "Ciao." She'd say before opening the door and heading out, she already making way towards where perhaps classic literature was shelved.
Today certainly was interesting... Perhaps tomorrow shall be better?
