"I suppose that does make sense, Sorry I was just wondering your theory there." Dust admitted, this was a curious human, he seemed to have sever assumptions about these things but Dust wasn't a expert on spirit users, hell he only knew one and that one almost got him killed, twice! Luna just smiled. "We're powerful, Digimon can evolve and become stronger, I can evolve one more time and Dust can do it twice!" Luna said giving away Dust and her secret weapon, people underestimated a Impmon and Lunamon when they couldn't evolve.
"She's right, there's even a level after that." Luna however decided to boast about something. "And we beat that also." She said forgetting the fact they needed the help from one the same level, Dust would admit he needed the others help also but to be honest the situation was caused by him in the first place.

John raised an eyebrow at that latest piece of information. Or at least, he would have if he had any eyebrows. As it was, the gesture was just a slight flexing of his facial muscles. Regardless, his interest was undiminished. If Dust and Luna could evolve as they said, then it was more reasonable to imagine them in combat against a serious threat. He idly wondered if he himself was able to evolve like that but all of his other powers had come by instinct and he wasn't feeling any impulses that might involve him becoming more powerful. Most likely he would simply have to find more statues to increase in power.
"I see. So there are three further levels of power which Digimon can advance through. Am I to assume then that your current forms are more natural to you, that you choose to stay in them rather than your stronger forms?" he inquired curiously. "Or are your more advanced forms simply unsuited for tasks other than combat?"
John kept an eye out as he spoke, for either a statue or for this black knight of Dust's, but the majority of his attention was on his mirror image. Now that he knew how to get to the world where they came from, or at least the general locations of the portals, it seemed less immediately pressing to find one of the statues here. They would doubtless be more common in their own world, after all.

"Yup that's right there's Champion, Ultimate and Mega." Luna said but Dust muttered something out quickly after she said that. "What was that Dust?" Dust crossed his arms looking down. "There's a level beyond Mega, a Super Mega if you would." Dust answered the thought just coming into his head, why did he remember it though? Was this common knowledge. "It's one of the strongest forms a Digimon can use, however it's hard to obtain, even harder to hold in a fight." Dust answered with a small shake in his head, he couldn't fully recall the rest, back to the blank slate.
"Nevermind, forget I said anything." Dust quickly said after as he went back to looking for what he was looking for.

"I see, so the level above us is Champion and whatever destroyed this district, assuming it was a Digimon, was probably at least Ultimate level, likely Mega or Super Mega," John guessed. Dust's sudden reluctance to speak further was curious but John had plenty of other questions to concern himself with. There was no need to press him on that particular subject just yet. He didn't know exactly how large the gap between levels was but he couldn't imagine an increase of a single level could result in a Digimon powerful enough to cause this sort of devastation. Of course, it could have been multiple Digimon but it would probably have been harder to keep quiet an army of monsters attacking the district than a single, monstrously powerful one.
"So this black knight that you're looking for with the girl, is he a Digimon?" John asked. "And if so, what level is he at? You mentioned he was large so I imagine that he's probably at least Champion, yes?" he guessed. It would be useful to know exactly what sort of creature he was searching for and how likely he was to escape if it turned out to be unfriendly. Hopefully being with Dust and Luna would be enough to ensure peaceful relations but there was no harm in being prepared.

"Yeah so Dust could destroy the area since he can go Ultimate." Luna stated making Dust let out a sigh, sadly he might of considering he was a amnesiac, who knows maybe he did do this. Most likely not though he'd recall something like that, he hoped. "No, A Ultimate could destroy it but it'd take to long, it'd have to be a Mega." Dust added, he knew his power at Ultimate could destroy an area but it would take far to long, someone would of stopped him before he could destroy it. "The gab between each level is farther then you'd think." Dust added deciding it'd be best to give reason why he'd say that, such a gap a Ultimate couldn't even hold a candle to a Mega.
"Yes the knight is a Digimon, it's name is Alphamon. The level he's at is Mega." Dust bluntly gave the answer, it was best to give a small warning but in any case the Digimon would be after Dust if he was bad, not Luna nor John.

"I see, thank you," John murmured, deep in thought. That info on the relative power levels of Ultimates and Megas was certainly helpful and he could use it to roughly guess where Champions would then fit on the scale of power. Considering his own level of power, he quickly guessed that it would be the height of foolishness to get into a fight with anything on a higher level than himself, essentially tantamount to suicide. Thus, he did become somewhat concerned when he heard that the Digimon they were looking for was at the Mega level, powerful enough to destroy an entire district overnight. Probably also powerful enough to deal with an Ultimate, a Champion and a Rookie if it should turn out to be hostile.
"And does Alphamon particularly want to be found? More to the point, is he likely to react poorly if we do find him?" he asked somewhat nervously. Having gained powers such as he had had given him a great boost of confidence but it was quite clear that his own powers paled in comparison to those of other Digimon and he had no intention of facing those Digimon before gaining an equivalent increase in power. Dealing with supernatural powers beyond one's control rarely ended well.

Dust looked away from the human not fully wanting to answer that question. ".........Yes, he would know me and I'm sure he wouldn't attack." Dust lied, he was good at lying but he didn't like doing it, he had no idea how the Alphamon would react nor did he know if the Digimon would want to kill him, Dust wasn't that sure about his power and what he did in his past life, though his memories pointed to a more sinister route with this. "In any case don't worry, should something of that strength group attack you could just leave it to me, I can't promise I'll beat a Mega but I can at least buy time for you two to leave." Dust added reassuring he was going to protect them, even if it cost him his life.
