Run. Run. Run, or you will be killed. That is all he could as he ran as fast as he could. He looked behind him to see that a knight in red armor was riding on horseback, and was quickly closing the gap. He then looked ahead of him to see the woods that would prove to be his salvation. However, his breathing was becoming heavy as he found himself quickly becoming more and more exhausted. His hopes of being able to make it out of these were quickly fading, but he pushed himself as hard as he could to reach his salvation.
Somehow or another, he made it passed it through the wall of trees. He looked behind him to see the Red Knight had stopped giving chase and just stared at him as he continued moving through the forest.
Once he felt like he was finally safe, he found himself at a still pond deep within the woods. Exhausted, he took the moment to sit down and collect himself. He looked over at the pool, feeling a particular parchness in the back of his throat, reminding him that he had not had anything to drink since this whole ordeal had began. Cupping his hands, he dipped them in the water and took a deep drink out of the water he had collected. A sigh of relief came over him as he felt the cold sensation of the water pass through his throat.
Looking back down at the pool, he then took notice of something else. The face looking back at him was not his face.
Lea gasped as he shot out of bed. It took him a few seconds to discern reality and notice that he was in his own room.
"Man that was a weird dream." The Monodramon said to himself as he laid back down onto his bed, debating whether he should get up, or go back to sleep. After a short while, he had decided to get a few minutes of shut eye. Or at least he had hope he would be able to.
"Lea it's time for you to get up and get ready." Lea groaned as he heard his mother say this, lazily pulling himself out of bed.
The day had continued for Lea like any other day did. He went to school, hanged out with his friends, and generally tried to have a good time. The dream he had earlier had mostly faded from his memory, though images of it did flash in his mind during slower parts of the day, ensuring that he didn't completely forget about it. He couldn't exactly tell why, but for some reason that dream felt alot more real then any other dream he had before. Maybe it's just him putting to much thought into it.
It was night now as Lea entered his room, preparing to go to sleep for the day. His gaze went over everything in his room as he walked to his bed. However, something had caught his attention as he walked. On his nightstand was a strange medallion that he never remember having before. Curiousity getting the best of him, he went and picked it up to examine it closer, wondering how it got there.
As he did so though, a strange sensation went over him as a location suddenly became visible in his mind. It was a spot in the woods nearby that he always used to visit when he was younger, and he felt a sudden urge to head over there. Lea immediately dropped the medallion as he backed away from it, not sure what to think about what had just happened. A part of him wanted to get rid of the strange medallion as quickly as possible. After all, he had no idea how it got here, or who it could possibly belong to. Yet, another part of him wanted to take the medallion and head over to where it wanted him to go.
After a few seconds of mulling it over, he ended up picking the medallion up and sneaking out of his house.
It was awhile before Lea had found himself at the spot the medallion seemed to be leading him. He looked around, but nothing of interest seemed to be there. Then, as he was beginning to decide to head back, the medallion began to glow. He looked at the medallion before a flash of light right in front of him had caught his attention.
Lea blinked several times as he found himself blinded by the flash of light. Once his eyes had fully recovered, he saw that the light had now been replaced by a figure laying down on the ground.
"Hello. Are you okay?" Lea asked as he slowly mustered the courage to approach the figure. He then jumped back as he heard the figure groan as it began to stir.
"Where am I?" The figure groggily asked as he began to stand up. At this point, Lea could see that the figure was a good two to three feet taller then him, which intimidated him quite a bit. Steeling his nerves though, he answered the figures question.
"We're in the woods right outside Terminus Town."
The figure seemed shock to hear his question answered. He slowly turned around to look at the person who had just answered his question. That was when Lea noticed something that was completely weird (as if this whole situation wasn't completely weird already.) The figure had the same face as the one Lea saw in the pools reflection in his dream.
