Gallatin let out a sigh as he stared at the setting sun, his legs dangling over the edge of the gigantic wall that surrounded the city. A slurping noise echoed out from him every few seconds as he absentmindedly slurped a juice box through a bendy straw.
"Huh. This place never ceases to surprise me." Gallatin thought to himself as he habitually flipped his digivice holster open and shut repeatedly. "I've traveled a long way from where I was a week ago and seen a lot of things. But even then it's the little things like a beautiful sunset that really count." His slurping became more strained through the straw, signaling that the juice box had been entirely emptied of its concepts. He stuffed the empty box into his pocket to through away at a later time, before shouldering his backpack and sliding himself off of the wall's edge.
As Gallatin plummeted from the giant structure, he closed his eyes before bending his arms behind his head; positioning his back to the coming ground. From this high up, it would take, at the very least, 45 seconds or so before he hit the ground. He figured he might as well take a minute to relax; it wasn't as if he was in any danger or anything. He did make sure to hold his digivice firmly in his hand though, ready to transform at a moments notice to stop his descent. In the mean time though, he perused his thoughts as well as the fragmented memories that he had inherited from his dead spirit.

Shi sat against the wall that kept Teminus safe, phone in hand playing some centipede he downloaded on it, Yasuo and Yuuda sat beside the teen both in their Holo-suits staring at him. "Come on, Come on lose I want a turn!" Yuudai exclaimed staring at the teen, the only reason he was in his Holo-suit was to play the game. "Yuudai be patient." Yasuo was glad to say that but from the looks of it he wanted a turn also. "Besides it's my turn next, you die to easily." This earned Yasuo a hit on the head from his loving brother. "Or I could kick your arse so you'll never get a turn." Yuudai stuck his tongue at his brother in a childish manner.
Shi had his headphones on not connected to the phone but connected to his MP3 which gave him at least some way to focus while the two Digimon talked around him, Shi had almost won another game but one mistake led to him dying. "Yes my turn." Yuudai made a grab for the phone but Shi's quick hands easily got it out of the way. "Yasuo's turn you mean." Shi said before handing the phone over to Yasuo who took it and started playing the game again, Yuudai looked defeated but ultimately crossed his arms and sat back looking away, were Shi to give a age group Yuudai would be the youngest here.
Shi took off his headphones glancing around noticing something falling in the distance, still it was to far away and not like they could do anything about it now so, uhh he just hoped it wasn't a Digimon commiting suicide, did Digimon take fall damage? Would make sense right? Or could this one just randomly fly and was just trying to look cool just in case anyone was around, Shi bet it was that one.

The wind rushed through Gallatin's hair as his descent quickened. He expected that by now he had probably achieved maximum velocity. In a few seconds, he was going to impact the ground, so he gripped his digivice tighter before halfheartedly transforming.
"*Sigh* Execute Spirit Evolution..." Gallatin droned in a bored voice. As the light enveloped him though, signaling his transformation, his cognition was suddenly overloaded with sensory as visions in his head spiraled through his mind. Faster than he could comprehend, images flashed through his brain of a burning mansion, a man lying dead in the mud, a volcanic eruption, a room of shattered clocks, a glowing sword snapped in half. "GAAAH!!!" He yelled while clutching his helmeted head. He had transformed into Chronamon - Excalibur Mode, but was too disoriented by the pain in his head as vision after vision went through his mind.
Before Gallatin's vision could clear up, his form impacted the ground. As a gigantic plum of dust, flying shards of rock and dirt were whipped up into the air, a crater opened in the ground where he had landed. His breathing was heavy and his body was aching all over from the impact, but he would be fine for the most part. If he had transformed a second later though, Gallatin would have died for sure.
He raggedly breathed through his helmet visor as he shakily rose from the crater, lifting his body slightly out of the hole before dropping himself back onto the ground after clearing it. "Uuuuugh. Medic..." Gallatin groaned as he struggled to get into a sitting position. His mind was racing a mile a minute as he was still trying to grasp what just happened.

And the thing kept falling, and falling, and falling until it hit the ground, suicide it was. Should he go check that out? Might be something dangerous, or stupid. Or something dangerously stupid. Shi poked Yuudai on the shoulder pointing the the now grounded falling thing. Oh, hey what is that thing." Yasuo had seen it also closing Shi's flip phone and handing it bak to him, this was a bit more important then some game, though Yuudai did shoot daggers at his brother, figuratively, not really. The trio made their way over to the thing that may or may not be dead and dangerous, but stupid was a definite factor here.
As Shi got closer the dust came a bit closer but Shi not really caring just walked through it till he saw something he knew, a golden knight Gallatin. So it was stupid but not dangerous, well after following a voice in your head Shi wouldn't call em smart exactly. "Oh, hey It's Gallatin, why did he hit the ground can't he fly?" Yuudai asked scratching the side of his head, this made him confused. "Maybe he forgot to?" Only thing Yasuo could think of, I mean he wouldn't of jumped while he was still human right so it wouldn't be a last minute thing, unless someone pushed him in which case why was he up there in the first place.
After hearing him groan out something Shi walked a bit closer offering his hand to the golden digimon. "No medics here, walk it off." Shi said ready to help him up or at least give him a hand, Shi had no idea how heavy he was

Gallatin looked up in surprise from his turmoil-ed mental state to find his ‘friend’ Shi standing over him. Being offered his hand, Gallatin took it to stand up. “Ugh. Thanks man.” He said, still winded from his crash landing. . “Fancy seeing you here.” That was the last time he dropped off of the wall before transforming. But Gallatin still couldn’t for the life of him figure out what had happened that caused those weird visions.
When his gauntlet met Shi’s own hand though, a fiercely glowing DigiPentagram encircled their joint appendages, locking them together. Gallatin’s eyes widened in surprise as a crimson light expanded from the infinity symbol on his head before enveloping him, Shi, and the two digimon. “Uh, What's going on?!” Gallatin yelled out in surprised as he tried to wrench his hand free from Shi’s and the Magic Circle.
Before they knew it; the light had vanished completely, as well as the circle; though there was still a burning sensation on Gallatin's forehead where his mark had been glowing. With one last, surprised wrench of his arm, Gallatin let go of Shi’s hand before falling backwards and back into the crater… Or that’s what should have happened. “GACK!” He screamed as the back of his helmeted head slammed into a rock. For a few moments, Gallatin was seeing nothing but stars! He sat up once more and looked around them. The crater that he should have tumbled back into was completely gone and the ground was undisturbed. He looked around him and his eyes widened even more at what sight beheld him though…
“Um Shi… we may have a problem.” Gallatin uttered in a nearly silent voice. His throat quivering at the lack of sight he was beholding. The entire giant wall, no, the entire city of Terminus was gone! “I think I just blew up the city…”

"So want to tell me why you tried to kill yourse-" Shi looked down at a weird glowing thing, then he felt his hand hold on tighter then he'd really like it to be, he tried to let go himself tugging at the joined hands, he was calmer then Galltin though, looking up he saw a weird red light coming from the symbol on Gallatin's head, great why Shi and why now? Gallatin released his hand as he fell down, Shi took a moment managing to recover easily from whatever that was as the two twins surrounded him. "Shi you alright?" They both asked making sure he was fine, he gave a small nod before putting his hand out to balance himself on the wall, only he met with nothing, due to quick reflexes he managed to catch himself before falling.
Shi looked over hearing Gallatin seeing the same sight he was, Shi however was much calmer then the other guy putting his hands in his pockets for a moment. "No, not to be rude but you don't have nearly enough power to pull something like that off, no something else happened." Shi said his voice still lacking emotion but he was getting at least a bit worried about the fact that Terminus was gone. "Gallatin, what was the light, why did our hands lock. Do you know." Shi asked looking down at him, Yasuo and Yuudai stood in their Holo-suits just staring at this place, how did this happen? After protecting this place twice it was just gone.

However, Gallatin wasn't nearly as cool headed as Shi was at the moment. "How should I know what's going on!?" He asked incredulously, his eyes darting back and forth as if maybe he had somehow missed the giant city that had literally been there moments earlier. "How does an entire city disappear?" He checked his digivice to display a map and give him some assurance that he wasn't losing his mind.
When he brought up a mini-map of the area, he made sure to read over the screen twice. Sure enough, it said that this was where Terminus City was. But that didn't explain how the city disappeared. Maybe it had something to do with how his symbol glowed and a Digi Pentagram appeared? "Hey, maybe whatever that light was did it." Gallatin said to Shi, voicing his thoughts. He stuck his palm out and summoned a DigiPentagram, this one red, to try and see if maybe he could recreate what happened just now. "Here, let me see if maybe I can undo whatever I think I did?"
Gallatin waited for a moment to see if maybe something would happen. Just as he had all but given up, a light glowed around him once more as he felt a strange sensation emerge from his body. "H-hey! I think it's working." He exclaimed, his stupid ideas had finally started paying off! "It's worki-" He was interrupted though as the light flashed once more before dissipating entirely, this time reverting Gallatin back into his human form.
"W-what?" Gallatin spoke out, slowly trying to grasp what had happened. He slowly reached into his belt holster, pulling out his digivice to stare at its screen. Where it would normally display a map or an image of his totem, instead the entire screen was completely blue.
"..."
"..."
"Okay, we may have another problem." Gallatin uttered, breaking the silence as the wind whistled in his ear. "My digivice crashed."

"Apparently like that" Shi said looking at the now empty space, how he was so calm was beyond even him, maybe when it happened something inside of him snapped or something, eh made this a lot easier anyway. Shi brought out his own digivice for a moment bringing up the DATS map, however he couldn't access the ARROW system for some reason, great another thing broken in his digivice. "Wait what?" Shi asked when Gallatin was going to do what he did again, a light glowed around his body for a few moment and he thought it was working.
"Gallatin don't maybe we shouldn't mess with something that we don't understand." However the teens warning came a little to late as Gallatin snapped back to his human form, he stared at his digivice for a few moment before revealing that his digivice had just crashed. "Yeah, figured something like that might happen, you might of overloaded it." Shi suggested, it was a odd device but one all the same, if this was Gallatin's doing and he tried to do the same maybe the device overheated or suffered from overuse, Gallatin did seem the type to transform whenever he felt like it considering his little show with the wall.
"Shi what do you think is going on?" Considering how calm Shi was he had to have some idea of something. Shi calmly looked up for a moment closing his eyes before deciding. "Well, I have a theory, like I've said before I'm a sort of catalyst for evolution, at least my Digivice is, maybe when me and Gallatin touched hands somehow overloaded Gallatin's evolution causing his time controlling ability to go out of wack and somehow send us back before Terminus was even a idea." Shi said, was going this far back possible for even something with the power of a Mega? "Obviously this theory has some holes but it's the only thing I can think of, you can hardly stop time for even a short time right Gallatin? Doesn't seem likely you'd be able to travel back in time, much less destroy a entire city without something." Shi wasn't even being insulting to Gallatin, this was a natural truth. "But Shi your digivice is busted right? can't even make us go double Mega." Yuudai reminded Shi causing the teen to cross his arms.
"I don't think it's the device itself, it has something to do with all three of us, were it the device the digivice would of shown a error right? but it has always come when I needed it the most, I'm sure it'll be fine." Shi had finished explaining and wondered if Gallatin had a comment on what he said.

Gallatin could only nod his head as he listened in on Shi's hypothesis for what was going on. "W-wait? You mean to say that we got sent back in time!" Gallatin questioned; time shenanigans were still fairly new to him, and so far all he had been able to do as a digimon was stop time for 2 seconds max. "I've only been able to stop time for 2 seconds at my best; let alone rewind time over a hundred years!" He exclaimed his thoughts, though the blue screen on his digivice wasn't doing well to ease his nerves and let him think calmly.
"Okay... wait a sec..." Gallatin said while rubbing his temples to try and think of a solution their predicament. "There's a chance that we might not be stuck in the past. When I was falling from the top of the wall earlier, I crashed because my brain became overloaded by a bunch of images and flashbacks of places rushing through my mind. They didn't look like mine, so maybe it's the memories of some... thing in the past." Gallatin had an idea as to what the origin of the visions were earlier, but decided not to voice them. Shi had already thought him weird when he voiced his concerns about having his spirit talk in his head. Telling him now that he had inherited some of the dead digimon's memories might not be the best thing to bring up at the moment. "You said yourself that your digivice was a catalyst for evolution right? This is just a guess, but maybe it reacted with my digimon form and the visions I was having to send us to the time when it was happening...?" It was a long shot, sure; but he had no better explanation for what had happened. But hey, that's just a theory... A GAAAAAM- "God damn it. Stay on track, brain!" Gallatin chastised himself out loud, aware how weird he must look at the moment.
Suddenly, a thought popped into his head. And that wasn't code for he thought of an idea. A thought that literally was not created by Gallatin had suddenly entered his brain. "Connect the digivices..." The idea in Gallatin's brain suggested. "Hey Shi. Can I see your digivice for a sec." He said, voicing the thought. "I wanna try something out." Dang. He really needed to stop listening to voices in his head. That was how people wen't crazy, and his current mental state wasn't exactly in the soundest of places considering the last few weeks or so.

"There is no other explination, neither I nor you have the power to destroy or recreate entire areas, or have you not noticed the network plains? They used to be destroyed." Shi said looking over at the entire area, he was right it was back to its original look, or at least how Shi thought it looked before, at least it wasn't like the same place. "And like I said the power of Yasuo and Yuudai, or it least my ability to call forth their stronger forms might of had something to do with it." In the end it was just a theory but still it was the only thing he could come up with at the time.
"Wait you saw images. Maybe we're wrong, maybe something else did this to us and accidentally loaded you with his memories and caused this." After all none of them had memories of the past except maybe Yuudai, speaking of which he kinda stared at the open area for a while before snapping back to reality. "Maybe it isn't time travel at all, just a illusion created by memories of something in the past, after all this is the digital world, data can float around go place to place all the time, who's to say the area didn't just overload or something." Yasuo offered a few more theories as to what the hell was going on but Shi looked at Gallatin wondering what he was going to do, with a small sigh Shi took out his IC digivice before handing it over to Gallatin. "Shi are you sure you should just hand it over?" Shi looked over at Yasuo for a moment. "I don't really have a option now do I, if this works then I have to risk it. Whatever you're going to do just be careful." Shi said handing it over to Gallatin

Gallatin carefully took Shi's digivice from his hand; as he did so, he noticed that it felt especially cold to the touch, but he dismissed it. Maybe Shi had cold hands? As he was about to place it next to his own, he stopped as something came into his head which he hadn't noticed before... "Who are those people behind you?" Gallatin deadpanned while pointing at the two disguised Agumon next to Shi.
Before he could listen to Shi's answer though, Gallatin drew his attention back to the digivices in his respective hands. Apparently the distance between them had been enough, because his digivice's screen completely powered down into a black and empty state. On the literal other hand, Shi's digivice suddenly lit up as a loading bar appeared on it along with several different messages.
TEMPORARY FUNCTION TRANSFER
UPLOADING FUNCTIONS... 54%
UPLOADING FUNCTIONS... 83%
The screen of the digivice cracked, as sparks flew from it for a few moments before dissipating in brief plumes of smoke and startling Gallatin.
UPLOADING FUNCTIONS... 100%
TRANSFER COMPLETE
Shi's damaged digivice had its screen also blacken out completely for a few moments before once again lighting up. This time, it had a familiar looking map and arrow pointer displayed on it as well as a blackened out figure in the top right corner of the screen that was further obscured by the new crack running through it. "Oh... Well, good news is I know what's vaguely going on." Gallatin said, getting an inkling as to what was happening. He had already seen that screen before on his digivice, so at least he had an indication on what they should do next. "Apparently my digivice thing transferred to yours, sorry about the crack, but if we follow the arrow on the screen it should lead us to a totem-thing. Maybe that's why we were sent to the past and stuff; and if we find it maybe things will go back to normal?" It was a long shot, but at this point he figured it just best to do whatever the magic mini-computer and dead animal wizards were telling him to do.

Shi put his hands in his pockets looking back at the two twins behind him before pointing them out. "It's Yasuo and Yuudai, their just in their Holo-suits right now, guess I forgot to turn it off." His digivice had that function on it but right now it would appear that something transfered between Shi's digivice and into Gallatins, though now his new fancy IC digivice had a large crack on the screen. "It's alright I still have my old one." Shi said reaching into his backpack and pulling out his old Digivice, looking at it for a moment before pressing a few buttons, slowly it loaded up finally coming online with the screen showing a few lines of digital text but two words stood out admist the lines of code and unknown words, WarGreymon and ShineGreymon.
"Wait, it is actually working?" Shi asked looking a bit closer, well it appears it was just the IC's fault that it wasn't working, that would be anyone elses logical thinking but Shi didn't think it was that easy, something seemed to be behind the code, behind the evolution names but Shi couldn't put his finger on it. "Well in any case looks like we'll be able to help again." Shi said putting the digivice back attached to his belt, the one thing his IC couldn't do, be stylish. "Lead the way then Gallatin." Whatever was out there Shi would take it down no problem.

Gallatin pocketed his own darkened digivice before staring intently at Shi's cracked one. He looked towards the direction that the arrow was pointing, and apparently it was directly into where Terminus City would have been. "Well, I guess we should go this way." He commented before walking off in the direction expecting Shi and the digimon to follow him.
"By the way, how do you have two digivices?" Gallatin wondered aloud as they walked. "I thought it was a 1-per-person type of thing? Or is it because you have two digimon?" Did having multiple digivices give special advantages to tamers, or was it just a backup. Where would he even get a back up digivice? Is there a store that just sells them... Questions for another day maybe. The important matter at hand was finding the totem that the arrow was pointing at, and possibly using it to send them home... maybe?
Albeit it wasn't the best plan by far, but it was at least a solid one. Gallatin still couldn't tell why they were in what was looking to be the past though. As they walked farther towards the middle of where the city used to be but was now open plains, the direction arrow that had been guiding Gallatin slowly inched downward... "No. I'm imagining things. It's just a glitch." He thought, trying to convince himself that it wasn't what he thought in vain. "God..."
As his foot landed on the ground in his next step, a metal clank rang out. He checked forlornly under his foot by wiping away the loose dirt, to find that it was covering a metal trap door. "...Damn it." Gallatin finished his curse. Why did every totem he had to find have to be underground. Why not a hotel resort by the beach, or a prize in an eating contest. Without even looking back at the digivice screen, he could tell that it was pointing directly downward...
This was going to be a long day... Might as well have Shi check into it first though. After all, why did Gallatin have to always have the worst luck. "Hey Shi. Wanna open this up?" He said while stepping off of the partially uncovered metal door.

without doing something so he might as well follow, he motioned the twins to follow him which they did since they really had nothing better to do then listen to Shi. "The one I have now is the one I originally had, the other one is the one DATS gave me when I joined up with them, I kept this one out of sentimental value since it has technically saved my life several time." Shi answered, it was the reason and his device did save his life by allowing the twins to evolve before, if he didn't do that Shi wouldn't be standing here right now, he;d be dead somewhere else.
Shi looked over at Gallatin as he stopped looking down at something, he looked at it and saw it was a hatch, metal one at that neato. Apparently Shi was supposed to open it up. With a shrug Shi went to do it but was quickly stopped by Yuudai who had discarded his Holo-suit. "Let me, could be something dangerous down there." Yuudai said going over to it and grabbing onto the metal door quickly pulling using all his strength to, if he could rip the door off its hinges, should it be locked or he fail for some reason he'd use his move and reinforce his claws with power to rip the door off.

The metal door flew off of its hinges as Gallatin sweat dropped. The relative ease he had done it with was a heavy reminder just how stronger digimon were from humans... Something that indeed sparked a discussion in his brain he pushed to the back of his mind. Now wasn't the time or place.
Gallatin paused for a moment, expecting something to jump out at the group, but nothing out of the ordinary occurred besides the whistling of the steady wind into the hole in the ground. "Well, I guess i'll go in first and check it out." Decided Gallatin as he slowly lowered himself down the darkened stairs and into the hole in the ground. He shouted back in a joking manner, hoping to lighten the mood, "Shi, you stay behind me so that if anything happens, I can jump into your arms for safety." A light chuckle whispered from his throat before being silenced by the deafening blackness of the quickly descending corridor.
It seemed like he had walked down the stairs for a while before the tight space began to grow progressively lighter. As he went further down, more of the stone passageway was illuminated by a haunted blue tint. Finally, they ended as he exited the passageway that emptied out into a giant room. The tops of the walls were all lined with torches, the ones closest to the place they entered was lit with a strange blue fire. The walls were overgrown with vines and the stone was eroded, looking to threaten collapse at any moment. The shadows of the dancing fires played across multiple faded engravings on the wall and floor, most of which completely faded.
The only one of which that was faintly discernible was in the very center of the dark room, with a deep engraving of what looked to be an hourglass. In the picture, the hourglass was shattered and it's sands looked to be going into the mouth of some gigantic beast that was shown standing next to it, an evil roar plastered on its mug. It's tail winded all over the room, where Gallatin's eyes trailed it's path to the other side of the room where there was a square-ish shaped gouge in the wall. His eyes widened as he tried to take in all of the sights of the room, a faint word echoing off the walls as it left his mouth. "Woah."
