As the clones struggled against the empowered combined blasts of Yuudai and Yasuo, and obviously not going to make it past alive, the Chronamon Excalibur Mode stared quizzically at the enraged armored beast that had emerged from the data pillar. "Error. Temporal Energy Corrupted." It's mechanized Gallatin voice said while apparently analyzing the creature that apparently was Gallatin himself! "Spirit Vassals corrupted by dark matter data. Preparing repair code... Bypass code 442334112-" It was interrupted from it's rattling off numbers though as the beast let out a fearsome roar before charging at the golden armored clone.
"Error. Error. Power spike irregular. Program deactivation and retrieval in t minus 50 secooooooooo..." It's voice stalled as a black field of temporal energy surrounded the two digimons as it emanated from Gallatin.
"GUUAAAAGH!!!" Yelled what used to be Gallatin as he rushed forward while grabbing the ridiculously slow moving Chronamon by the head in his gigantic palm. Shards of armor flew off as the helmet collapsed in on itself within the beast's grip, bending inward and cracking in the several places that made it so no normal head could ever fit within it.
"Error. Error. Error." The broken digimon kept on repeating, only enraging the feral beast as he flexed he dashed towards the ground while still clenching the armored victim in his fist. At the last second before impacting the ground at an alarming speed, he thrust his arm forward to strike the earth with the digimon's body while simultaneously landing on it's back; the force of the impact creating a deep crater within the earth. As the broken digimon still droned on in a broken voice "Error, Error, Error", the feral digimon in green lined, black armor began pounding its fist over and over into the face plate of the defeated Chronamon Excalibur Mode. With each strike of his fist into the twisted metal, the crater deepened and the two sank further and further into the earth. This continued on until the scarred earth seemed to have deepened by a mile.

Shi waited a few moments before looking back up at the clones, only there were none left they kinda got instantly eradicated by that combined attack. "Holy Shit you two." Shi exclaimed looking at it, the ball didn't even explode yet it just destroyed via contact. So that was the power of a Super Mega. "Well, good job team. Guess we should most likely head to a hospital now." Shi told the two of them as they started flying down.
Shi looking down then saw something punching the clone into the ground, well more of punching it and the ground downward, still what the hell was that thing. "Alright new plan, go figure out what that is." Shi said Ponting at Yuudai who took his shield back and held it in one hand flying over above the digimon, if it did anything Yuudai would block it with the shield. He waited till it was done with whatever the hell it was doing.

After the beast had finally driven his fist one more time into the ground, it sounded one last roar into the sky that seemed to shatter the sky itself. Dark energy of some sort flowed from the silver wing-like appendages as if lifted off from the ground and out of the giant trench where the twisted, gold metal digimon still lay. Roaring like a wild animal, the cannons on the sides of the black armored digimon began glowing with immense energy as they bent down to both aim at the crippled digimon. A large red infinity sign gleamed behind the beast, as if like a sideways halo that hung behind him while glowing fiercer and more bright as the energy within the cannons charged.
The creature's obsidian colored eyes of solid black gleamed as it bared its fangs once more before firing the two gigantic blasts of energy built up within the shoulder canons. As they sped towards the crater at ridiculous speeds, the two blasts of black, temporal energy converged into an amalgamate of epic proportions. Finally, the sphere submerged itself into the ground of which the data-knight lay, immediately dissipating the creature into data before erupting in a black, fiery explosion that consumed the area above it as it seemed to extend limitlessness into the sky.
As the apocalyptic eruption raged on behind him, the demonic digimon seemed to calm down slightly. It's face lost the snarling expression it had held while rampaging earlier. The creature stared directly at Yuudai when he approached. It blinked and it's eyes changed from the solid black emptiness to a white-surrounded pair of eyes with two hazel shaded Irises. A pillar of black and red data once again erupted around the creature as it roared in pain while clutching its head in agony.
Just as soon as it happened though, the data stream disappeared once more as well as the creature. In it's place hung the unconscious form of Gallatin who floated suspended in the air for a few moments by the data before slowly drifting downwards as the stream ceased. Unknown to anyone, inside of his holster, Gallatin's digivice was once again there with a working screen that said only two words:
"TWILIGHT MODULE AND DUST CORE INTEGRATION COMPLETE"

Whatever this thing was it was not a happy camper, not at all. Still Yuudai had no fear while he was walking towards it, weather it be due to the fact that he wasn't bright or just didn't see a threat was all up to him, should Shi ask the latter would be the answer to his question strangely enough. Yasuo slowly flew down till he was only slightly hovering above the ground, Shi jumped off the massive digimon landed on the ground easily.
Shi looked at whatever that thing was as it rocked its head back in what appeared to be agony before it slowly fell down shifting into Gallatin before collapsing to the ground. Shi unshaven by this slowly walked over to the collapsed teenager before kneeling down next to him placing two fingers on his neck to check for a pulse.
Yuudai and Yasuo hanged back for obvious reasons but still kept their guard. After that event with Dark Gallatin they were a bit more cautious around him.

Gallatin didn't know where he was... but what else was new? He looked around him, and for as far as he could see, there was nothing but water and sky. He himself was standing on top of some sort of water accumulation That reflected the wisps of clouds in the blue sky above him to the point that he could barely tell where the water ended and the sky began.
" What...?" He murmured. For some reason, speaking even a little was very tiring. The area around him put him on edge but also was mysteriously calming. Suddenly, he looked down towards the water he was standing on top of as 2 ripples seemed to emanate from behind him. Gallatin tried to turn his head to look behind him, but it was almost as if he was barely in control of his own body. The most action he had been able to muster was barely tilting his head; he could see some person standing behind him, but that was the most he could make out of his peripheral vision. " Morality is a faux." The person behind Gallatin spoke suddenly. At this, Gallatin's eyes widened in shock at hearing him speak. For some reason, he recognized this person's voice; but no matter how much he tried, he couldn't remember where he had heard it before. " It epitomizes everything wrong with free will." The voice continued. " We fight for things we barely understand, and for what? They say for freedom... but really is that? We gaze down at death like it is nothing, and in that sense we are true. Freedom is a cowardly facade in which people cannot simply come to terms that they do not feel regret for these they kill. Death is nothing. So tell me, what are you fighting for? Is it freedom? Protection? Life? Or do you enjoy the feeling of power that you possess in those moments before ending life? You feed on it, you thrive through it, it gives you a purpose..." The words coming out of this person's mouth made Gallatin take a moment to ponder... Did he enjoy it? He remembered now; the feeling of immense power that had coursed through him when he had destroyed his clone. It was intoxicating. Even greater was the sense of superiority he called his own in those moments when he pounded his fists into the twisted scrap metal, deforming it, bending it, claiming it... or did he? Everything was confusing him. Did he do those things? What was happening to him...? The person continued, this time though, he sounded closer; as if he was whispering right into Gallatin's ear a single word, practically inaudible. He grabbed Gallatin by his shoulders and forcibly turned him around. It was Gallatin staring into his own eyes, not Chronamon, not Geroumon, not even Shadow Gallatin. It was himself that was standing in front of him. Naturally, Gallatin's reaction was both as stupid and quite idiotic; yet naturally to be expected from someone of his intellectual processing ability. " ...A-am I high right now?" He said out loud, to which a grin spread out on his copy's face. " Ah. Quite the joker as always. But I task you to at least attempt to understand this message, before our time is up." As if on cue, the previously peaceful sky and reflective water turned a muddy brownish-black color as a sepia tint ran over the area. Cracks began appearing in the sky, spreading like those on a glass bowl that had been struck with a hammer. " Now don't play. I think deep down, you've known all along what this has all been about." " I don't understand." His counterpart continued, as if ignoring his remark; irritating Gallatin slightly enough to break his trance and take a step backward from his look-alike, the cracks in the sky spreading further as now thunder began striking the water in the distance, making his hair stand on end. " Do you think it to be a coincidence? So many good things happening for you, all for you? Gallatin." " What do you want?" Gallatin questioned, the disrupted peace putting him on edge. "To say what you wont. To do what you can't." The being answered, casually taking a step after step towards Gallatin as he followed suit and took a step backwards. " To remove those in your way." He gestured into the water and in it he saw images that made him nauseous. The image changed repeatedly every few seconds into several unnerving, yet familiar sights: A Sagittarimon impaled through the head with a giant arrow leaning against a tree, an Agumon with an inwardly bent skull lying lifelessly on the ground next to a blood-red stained rock, a crater with the twisted and charred remains of a Chronamon Excalibur-Mode, and finally the image that disturbed him the most was that of nothing more the the cold, black eyes of ShadowGallatin staring back at him. The face fit perfectly over his reflection, until Gallatin could barely distinguish the two. "To remove those... in your way."
He witnessed his eyes widened at the thought that had suddenly occurred with the information his double presented. "Wait. All of those digimon... You were the one that killed them?!"
" We killed them!" His eerie copy yelled out as the sky around them began shattering. Whatever this illusionary place was, it was breaking at the seems and would be completely gone in a few minutes. " Remember... you little accident with your shadowy self?" " Shadow Gallatin..." " Bingo! Me, or another form at the least. Your greatest creation, bringing you what you always wanted. I'm thinking we can have a shared ownership over this body instead of that whole destroy each-other thing; and i can help you get what you need! Power; beyond your wildest dreams and its only the beginning!" His slit-like eyes seemed to close off as he took one last step towards Gallatin, meeting his face. " And there is only one thing we need to finally succeed against all foes... but our time here is done..." The copy gave one more bored glance, before smirking and turning away and uttering some last choice words. " Think about it... hero." The last bits of the world around them shattered, as Gallatin felt himself thrust forward by some invisible string pulling on him. He fell through the water that he had previously been standing on and sank deep into the depths. His body froze up again as Gallatin sank deeper and deeper until the water around him vanished and everything around him was black. Gallatin's eyes thrust themselves open as he sat up, gasping repeatedly for air. He looked around frantically, at first disoriented about where he was until he noticed a presence next to him. It was Shi, and he glanced behind him to see Yasuo and Yuudai looking at him too. Wait, was all of that really some sort of injury dream...? The crater a few meters away from them brought back the memory in Gallatin's mind though of the defeated Chronamon. " No, it was all real." He regretfully assured himself, still confused about everything he had just been told. " Jeez. None of this makes sense." Gallatin muttered before sighing a deep sigh and attempting to get up from his sitting position, only to collapse while clenching his jaw in pain. While his legs weren't broken anymore it seemed, they were bruised and battered and practically useless...

Shi pulled his hand back when Gallatin got up. That was a good sign for a pulse if Shi had ever seen one. Shi stood back up slowly before doing something he knew he wasn't going to like. Shi glanced over at his arm and saw his best plaid coat now soaked in blood, Shi tried moving his arm just to have it not respond, fantastic. To what Gallatin said Shi had little reasponse, must of had a bad dream or something.
Yasuo and Yuudai both quickly became their Holo suit forms Yuudai going over to Gallatin and Yasuo going over to Shi. "Alright you did good, up and at them." Yuudai said offering his hand to Gallatin, if accepted he would then sling the beaten up teen over his shoulder and carry him. Yasuo looked at Shi for a moment then at the wound. "Shi, you going to be alright?" Shi looked over before waving Yasuo off. "I'll be fine, I can still walk. But might want to hurry I am losing a lot of blood." it was insane how Shi could stay calm at a time like this, even Yasuo had to ask what the hell was going through his head.
Shi looked around the area. "Hey we beat the clones, what now." Shi asked wondering if that thing was listening. Shi wanted to go home.

Gallatin clenched his teeth to hold back his grunts of pain as he gripped onto Yuudai's hand to hoist himself up. "Thanks." He muttered through his teeth before steadying himself on the digimon, his legs clearly too damaged to be used. He took notice of Shi's rapidly bleeding arm and the sight of it perturbed him because this was all, indirectly Gallatin's fault for dragging him into this situation.
It was then that a piece of information drifted through his brain about his new transformation that might be of some help. He pulled out his digivice before gesturing Shi to come close to him. "Hey Shi; can I see your arm for a second? I think I can help." He asked the hurt tamer, before dialing through a few settings on his digivice in one hand while still trying to stabilize his balance on Yuudai.

Yuudai held him up making sure not to touch any parts that looked bad, which was mostly just his legs. Yuudai would rather just carry the guy but he figured that would be far to painful for him right now. Yuudai looked around similar to Yasuo and Shi wondering where the voice from before had gone, maybe it only had a limited range. That didn't make sense though since the clones easily left the area.
With the aspect of Gallatin wanted to test something out Shi just shook his head. "Something tells me it'll have to do with that power you just got. I'll pass for now, though I'd say the same to any who just obtained their new power." it was the safest bet. While Shi didn't know about spirits it could be the same as him and they learned all their technical ideas easily. But a idea and execution were two very different things. "And I'll live. I've had worse."

Gallatin gave an embarrassed smile, before sticking his digivice back into its holster. "Okay then." He conceded with Shi's wishes, still slightly worried for him but less so now. "If you say so."
Suddenly in the corner of Gallatin's eye, he thought he saw some sort of glint in appear in the sky for a second. Steadying himself on Yuudai once more, he turned himself around to take a look at what it was better. "Um... Shi?" He said quietly to catch the senior's attention. He concentrated his eyes on the spot and for a few moments, he thought maybe he had imagined it... It was then that in a flash of gold, brown, and black; the sky split open. As if it were a some of glass, cracks began spreading all over the glass, glowing a burning brown color as chips and pieces of it fell to the ground and shattered.
"Uh, SHI!?" He yelled out to draw attention to what was happening, wincing as he put force onto his legs in a spasm. He pointed frantically at the shattering sky and the black void that lay beyond it as if armageddon was occurring before them. "The sky is breaking!"

Shi had seen the sky breaking and just gave a small nod. "So it is." he agreed not worried in the slightest. How he was able to keep his cool now was beyond anyone's idea. "The sky can break, well it is digital so I suppose it can error. Does this happen often?" Yuudai asked with the same level calm as the older teen has shown.
Yasuo puts his hands in his pockets and shrugs. "Well maybe something's coming through. Hope it's friendly should that be the case, don't feel like testing my powers against something that just split the sky.

One by one, shards of the sky cracked off and disappeared in a flurry of data. The decaying surroundings slowly spread throughout the area until Shi and the group were standing on nothing more than a small gathering of grass in the middle of a completely black void. The piece of land they were standing on slowly disappeared too, inching the four of them closer and closer until there was practically any room for the 4 humanoids at all when back to back.
Unlucky for him, Gallatin was the first to go. The relief of pressure on his legs from the ground disappearing beneath him was just enough to let out a sigh that slackened his grip on Yuudai. "Oh." He said, his reaction strangely calm as if accepting of his demise. He tried to transform with his digivice to transform, only for his last hopes literally to slip from his fingers as the rapid descent ripped the digivice from Gallatin's hand, sealing his fate. To his dismay, Gallatin was plunged into the dark void until he was no longer visible, the ground around Shi, Yuudai, and Yasuo still decreasing to foretell a similar fate.

Yuudai tried to reach out and grab Gallatin but he was just short on it and managed to miss his arm. "Damn, well Shi what now?" He asked the teen who already had his digivice out as the ground below started to give away. "Warp Digivolve." Shi said as his device became a small slight within the vast darkness around them as the ground gave way but not before WarGreymon and ShineGreymon picked up Shi and flew within the void.
"Well that's one problem down. Now what?" Yasuo asked looking around the dark void. "Find a exit I assume, and look for Gallatin since it would be rude to just not look."

The world of darkness completely surrounded Shi and the two mega digimon now, obscuring them from any and all sight. For a few seconds, everything around them and Gallatin felt like nothing, sounded like nothing, looked like complete and utter nothingness; as if simulating non-existence. Finally though after what seemed like eternity for the falling Gallatin, a light appeared in the darkness in his vision.
It was so bright that it blinded his eyes, making him hold out his arms to block it in a vain attempt as it seemed to emanate from within his eyes themselves! He felt his right arm in particular being moved by some unknown force forward towards it, supinating his forearm and hand. Hi body was also moved into a lateral position before a warm feeling appeared within the teen's extended hand. Gallatin closed his hand tight out of instinct to grab hold of the object firmly, but was surprised to find that in his hand was not a tiny ball of light, but a hand grasping back at his own.
The light spread throughout the world around him, bringing it to life as Gallatin was once again lying flat on the floor with his hand extended upwards and holding on to that of Shi's. His eyes flitted from side to side to take in the drastic change of surroundings; the walled city was back, as well as the crater he had made earlier that day and the ruined, shell of plains stretched out away from it all just like he had been once familiar with it. His eyes finally settled on his hand, still locked with Shi's own, before he yanked it backwards as if holding on any longer would make them go through the whole thing again.
"Gah!" He gasped in pain, apparently his severely injured legs serving as a prevalent reminder of what had just happened.

Shi looked around him, nothing but a dark void with nothing but the pulsating light of Yasuo to do little against the void of darkness. Though Shi knew his was not alone despite the dark void. No matter what happened, no matter the situation he would always have these two standing beside him. And so long as he believes this to be a fact he would never be truly alone again.
Suddenly though a light cast through the dark piercing straight through the empty void. Slowly Yasuo and Yuudai moved alongside towards it. Shi slowly reached out and grasped whatever it was before suddenly realizing what had just transpired. His hand grasped Gallatins again similar to how this whole event started. No longer had Shi been standing on the back of a Mega but instead on the ruined ground of a area long since destroyed. Gallatin let go in what appeared to be fright but could Shi really blame him, after all that had just transpired between the two.
Yasuo and Yuudai were back to their Holo suit forms Yasuo holding on to the cell phone as the game continued playing just as before. A small game over time broke the silence that had been created as this all went down. Shi backed up one step shaking his head trying to make sense of the events that went down. He slowly placed his hands back in his pockets before giving one quick look around.
Yasuo and Yuudai both stopped for a moment searching themselves for any sign of their previous battle. "Everything is back to normal?" Yuudai said putting his hands in the holo suit jacket pockets. "Yeah, what do you think happened?" Yasuo added shaking his head lightly to clear his head.

"Ugh. I think i'm gonna be-" Gallatin didn't have another moment to say a word as he began hurling into the hole in the ground. The combined stress of his, most likely, broken legs and rapidly changing scenery proved too much for the teen to handle with an upset stomach.
After finally settling his stomach, Gallatin struggled to lift himself to a sitting position; he was almost positive his legs were broken now. He saw his digivice next to him, and scooted his body with difficulty until he could snatch it from the ground. "I sure hope this thing isn't broken." He murmured to himself while clicking through the menus on the device to find his totem list.
Sure enough, even though the totem compass on his digivice was no longer blinking red and pointing him to go places, the totems that he had just gathered in the past "illusion" were no longer there... "Oh come on!" Gallatin yelled out in outrage before swiping his digivice against his palm and digivolving into his Chronamon Excalibur Mode form. "I have to get those things all over again don't I!"
Even though his legs didn't work, Gall still could move pretty well through the air. He had to make sure not to make them dangle to hard because the movement still hurt. "Hey Shi. I gotta go get my totems back from that underground place." He explained while floating a meter or so in the air to test it out and see how much it hurt, surprisingly not as much as he thought. "You probably shouldn't come though. I don't want to activate that security thing again. " He explained before just hanging around long enough to hear his friend's answer. "Is that okay with you guys? Will your arm be fine Shi?"
The illusion, if it could even be called that after wounding Shi and breaking his legs, was most likely supposed to have been a vision to tell him where he needed to go in the city area to get his totems and access the underground room. After Shi would give him his answer, Gallatin would fly as fast as he could in his limited state to where the room would be hidden in the city in the current time, then go to the hospital to heal up and sleep it all off like a BAAAAAD Hangover.
