A young man is sitting inside the library within Whitewater. In front of him is a Candmon who seem trying to learn more about Japanese from the Dorumon beside him. On the other chair is a Soulmon who, hearing the young man's murmuring, transcribed what he said in Japanese. It's funny how despite being mostly mute, it could understand him the best. Another one beside the young man is a Wisemon who took papers from the Soulmon to create a book. In fact, they work in tandem quite flawlessly. The young man keep muttering while the Soulmon keep writing and passing what he wrote to the Wisemon, who bundled it. Waiting on the other side is a Pharaohmon who transcribed some ancient script into normal Digimon script.
...The young man's name is Itou Yuuki. He's followed by Wick the Candmon, Est the Soulmon, Muror the Wisemon and Anthamen the Pharaohmon. His partner is Hikaru the Dorumon. While currently not present, he's also accompanied by Saraara the Kannagimon, the only female of the team. His main job is related to being a chronicler, which mean, he's here to chronicle anything. That, and he already got permission from most library to enter their deepest book repository to copy anything important and then use it as reference for their exploration. Of course there are many who is interested in trading whatever available on hand... the young man understand that. In return for allowing copying the book, he need to give the head librarian a copy book of his or another copy book from another library that he copied.
"...And thus, that's the end of the book," Yuuki said, nodding. Est stopped writing at that moment and nodded. Muror who received the last paper too finally completed the book and made several copies related to the book. Looks like another job is completed today. Even Anthamen is done with his work too and nodded.
"How can you be so fast?" Wick asked them, sighing.
"It's called practice, boy. You can get to this point sooner or later," Muror said. He opened his book and inserted the latest addition of the volume inside of it. That realm is connected to one of Anthamen's pyramid chamber. Speaking of Pyramid, the Pharaohmon has made his own pyramid as the small base for the team. Granted, it's immobile and only could be summoned as tent, but for Yuuki, that's better than nothing. Not to mention, their mode of transportation is mostly the Wisemon himself. They can't travel by land or on the sky in style like Ryouta, but they doesn't really mind. As long as the pyramid could be their beloved base, that's enough.
"...Heeey, it's getting cold?" Wick suddenly commented. Everyone in that small study immediately turned to him, wondering what the heck does he mean. It's tropics. It's impossible for the temperature to drop suddenly... well, at least that was the case, until Hikaru saw what's up.
"...It's snowing."
"...SNOWING!?"
Not believing what he just said, everyone looked toward the window. True enough, it's snowing--actually, no, it's storming. Snow storming.
"...No kidding huh, it's snowing..." Yuuki muttered. "This must be the first one in the tropics too. Don't tell me they're going to burn papers like one in those western movies."
"...I'd rather not honestly," Muror muttered. "It's too precious to be burnt. Plus, Digimons are tons stronger than human. Granted, there might be Digimons who are unaware of this and might would need more than just a heater, but the Trailmons should be fine... For now, we should probably look what caused this."
"...Well, agreed. Where's Saraara, by the way?"
"Probably still in the pyramid... shall we go there?"
"Yep!"
The crew managed to get into the Pyramid as usual, this time materalizing it in near the ocean. If Yuuki can be honest, he preferred something along the line of a big ruin in shape of tower. a clockwork tower, if he can be honest. One that would spring with energy of data... but he guess maybe he'll make such an organization later. That sort of organization will be the one that helps around newbies. They won't have any sort of authority to apprehend anyone, but they sure would help around in Digital World most of the time. He guess that he could continue the legacy of Elysia?
"Welcome back, milord," a zashikiwarashi-esque Digimon greeted them. Kannagimon, Saraara, Yuuki's mercenary who fight in the battlefield along with Hikaru. Saraara always seem to insist calling Yuuki 'Aruji'. Not sure if that's right though, as he's just a mere guy who offered her a work. The Digimon seem to already looked about the problem herself. She presented it to him.
"I think Milord would be interested on the matter regarding this snow in the tropics, so I took it upon myself to research upon the sources. Several theories already presented within this paper. Please read it at your own leisure."
Yuuki retreated to the warmer portion of the base, drinking some tea that was prepared. It's still warm, nice for this sort of weather. The report suggested that there could be something, like Digimon that is responsible for this. However, Saraara doesn't rule out that there might be another possibilities, something like data from real world seeped to Digital World on wrong part of the world. Whichever it was... she provided various data of local myth and possible ruins. It's still far from Christmas, so probably not Santa he guessed.
"...It's getting worse and worse," Hikaru muttered, looking at the storm that raged on outside. It's probably going take a while...
