More bullets rains on the zombie metal dragon, yet this is still nothing for him, albeit, he does take some damage. He didn't defend afterall. Sign of charring is clear on its body. The Digimon looked at the newly evolving two. Two Ultimates, two perfect. Ain't that too much? Not to mention they going to help the Aldamon too! Well for sure he seem to know that he'll gonna get outclassed sooner or later. They seem like they want to play, but... the one that who's going to play this time around isn't just them. The other Ryouta already raised his Digivice. Ryouta was seconds too late to notice the device raised---
"UNISON, SHINKA!"
Blinding cocoon of light came from the other one. Even if Ryouta wanted to do the same, it was way too late. Ryu that already shielded his eyes before quickly grabbed Ryouta and rolled away from what looked like four drills. Attaching itself to the ground, the drill break the Megabyte Glitchmagma while at the same time caused the ground to slowly sink below.
This situation was the worst... why? Because down there, their true main dish are waiting. The floor where Colin and co. is in a turn before immediately inclined, with Groundramon grabbing at the other end, snapping at them, trying to eat them.
"ALDAMON, GET TO THEM!" Ryouta told the other Ultimate with a sense of urgency never there before. Because what stood on the other end of the battlefield where he stood is that Ryouta, clad in armor of Breakdramon. As overly compensated as it looks, it's still a Super Ultimate. Ryouta quickly rose his Digivice, staring at the copy in front of him.
"UNISON! SHINKA!!"
Luckily that there are lot of protrusion on that ground that can be used as ledge to hang on. for Colin and the rest. That and the inclination, also the friction of the floor made it harder for them to fall. Despite so, the red, rabid eyes of the black dragon certainly tells them how it's looking forward to eat them. Its saliva pouring like waterall, showing just how much hunger it feel at the moment. Unfortunately for it, it's ignoring two perfects and one ultimate that can certainly shut it for good.
The battle above still rages on, with two super ultimates crossing weapons. The gravity can be ignored, that much is obvious, but this make Ryouta tad slower.

After being injured by Breakdramon's attack, Aldamon was still trying to get his bearings again. Suddenly, he was shot with two attacks that didn't hurt him, but instead healed him and replenished his energy. Looking in the directions, he noticed Luke and Bellamy, who were even stronger now! It appeared that they had just broken through to their Ultimate forms. Aldamon nearly wanted to cheer and holler in delight, but decided the time to gush would come later. "Thanks, guys!" he shouted out.
Aldamon hadn't even had time to react to anything that happened next. Everything had happened so quickly that he didn't even know what Ryouta was up to. Sensing that Marshal was in danger, he rushed over to his Tamer and the others, who were about to fall into a fissure in the ground. A black Groundramon sat at the bottom of the crack in the mountain, ready to eat all of them up.
"Not happening!" he shouted, raising his weapons. "Solar Slash!" In an instant, Aldamon was on top of the Groundramon and slashed at it mercilessly with his bladed weapons. The difference in power between the two Digimon was enough where doing this attack would be more than sufficient to distract him momentarily.
Meanwhile, Marshal was about to fall into the fissure. Aldamon couldn't have that happen on his watch, so he grabbed his Tamer and got him to a safe spot. Hopefully, Luke and Bellamy would be able to get Colin to safety.

Colin gasped as the ground below began to shake and shatter. He could barely hold his footing. Then, all of a sudden, the ground collapsed. He thought he would fall, gasping as he was lurched down, but he managed to grab on to a protruding rock in time.
His partners were also shocked, but both of them were on the alert as the shadow Ryouta seemingly evolved to Super Mega. As the ground broke, Bellamy's wings began to beat hard. Through sheer strength of will, he managed to leave the ground before it fell. But he saw his partner and brother edge further to their demise, the Groundramon below hungrily trying to get to them.
"I got you Colin!" Bellamy shouted, the Astamon swooping down to save his partner. He managed to pick him up and hold him with one arm, while with the second, he pointed his machine gun at Groundramon. "You ain't eatin' my buddies! Hellfire!" he shouted, and blasted at the green dragon relentlessly.
Luke meanwhile, glad that his partner was taken to safety, managed to grab on to some protrusions, preventing himself falling down. However, he thought momentarily on what to do. Going up would put them at risk of the mountain-shattering Super Mega battle above ground. While remaining below they would be at this guy's mercy. However, Luke decided on the latter. After all, they were the same level now.
"You wanna eat so bad?" Luke asked, leaping down into the mine toward Groundramon, aiming for ledge. As he flew down, he aimed his blasters, ensuring they were at the highest setting. "Eat this! Thundercast!" he aimed two blasts of white energy directly at Groundramon's eyes.
As this happened, Bellamy held Colin in the air above, determined to protect his partner from harm, but he also hoped his brother knew what he was doing. The Dynammon landed on a ledge above Groundramon, ready to attack again. They were here on an extermination mission after all.
Battle Record:
- Bellamy uses Hellfire on Groundramon. [Nightingale cooldown: 1/2]
- Luke uses Thundercast on Groundramon. [Defib Spark cooldown: 1/1]

The battle above getting more and more intense with the two trading blows. Ryouta's attack cuts the defense of the other one, but that other one is really resilient. The moment he know that his barrier meant nothing, he instead pushed the original away. Ryouta skidded on the ground, blade used as anchor to break his momentum. Battlecry shouted as the avenger clad in white shinobi garb and armor flies at speed unimaginable for an ultimate to strike his opponent. Both empowers each other with their hits, speed versus defense, defense whittling versus slowing field, the two battled each other not to kill, but to dominate. Yet, with how serious they are, many would probably think otherwise.
The groundramon, too occupied by the sign of its prey was unable to dodge in time, even if it just need to retract its head. It roared in fury from the pain. Pain, it was really painful! However, this is still fine! Even if it bleeds profusely, it's still alive and not endangering his life the slightest. It was about to swat the Aldamon away with its hardened wing, but quickly discouraged from the attack of the Astamon. While slightly weaker than normal perfect's, it's still hurt! Discouraged, yet not done, it retracted itself back to its hole before Luke's attack can hit it. In return, hundred of black Dracomon poured out from the hole, each as equally hungry.
One of the rock formation surrounding the mine suddenly exploded, revealing second Black Groundramon that attempted to launch itself to Aldamon, its wings outstretched to flatten the Digimon and the human together.

"Shit!" Aldamon cursed as the BlackGroundramon jumped out at him. If that Digimon was able to tackle him, Marshal could get seriously hurt! Instinctively, Aldamon covered himself in intense flames. He grabbed Marshal and held him close, knowing that his flames wouldn't hurt his Tamer. "Wildfire Tsunami!" he shouted, slamming into the approaching dragon.
Marshal was rattled by the impact of Aldamon smashing into the Groundramon, but he figured it was better than getting crushed! This battle was starting to get ridiculous!

Luke cursed that his blasters missed as the Groundramon retreated back into the hole. He landed at the bottom of the opened cave, looking cautiously at the hole, hearing angry noises coming from it. As a precaution, he attached his two blasters together, a series of gunmetal clicks echoing as he readied them for firing. Bellamy meanwhile looked with horror as ANOTHER Groundramon proceeded forth, attacking Aldamon and Marshal. Aldamon retaliated with an immense fire attack. For a moment both Colin and Bellamy thought that Marshal would be roasted, but thankfully he wasn't. Deciding that Aldamon was in more danger, Bellamy raised his Oro Salmon gun and fired on the new arrival. Then Luke saw what was approaching. Around a hundred Dracomon were approaching from the hole. If they were allowed through, they would surely overwhelm them. However, Luke had a means of dealing with this. He assumed a sturdy stance, raising his connected blaster. Then, the wheel on his back rapidly began to spin, bursting with electricity. The Dynammon then channelled this energy to his blaster, then attacked. "Storm Beam!"At once, an immense blast of lightning shot from his blaster, filling the hole where the Dracomon were coming out of. This powerful move would surely put a stop to their advance. Bellamy waited to see what would remain. Gradually, Luke's attack ended, his electric wheel gradually slowing down, humming with energy as it cooled off. Luke panted. He had no idea he could use an attack that strong.
- Bellamy uses Hellfire on the 2nd Groundramon, providing supporting fire for Aldamon. [Nightingale cooldown: 2/2] - Luke uses Storm Beam on the attacking Dracomon. [Storm Beam cooldown: 0/3]

The Groundramon looks winded from the sudden impact, but not before it made a ball with its huge body to capture both Marshal and Aldamon, then freedive to the ground. Luckily, thanks to Bellamy's interference, even if he managed to grip both of them, the trajectory of the dive become unstable. It crashed to the ground with a huge booming sound, then burst of data particles came out from the place where it was supposed to be, leaving a Digitama. However, if Aldamon and Marshal did not evade on the right time, high chance they'll take some of that damage.
Slaughter on Luke's place also left tons of Digitama, scattered on the ground... only to be once again destroyed by a rampaging Groundramon. This is not the bleeding one, this is the another one. There was three, yet there are none that looked as big as Breakdramon like the one that Koharu said... where is it? Irregardless, the Digimon shot out a blast of green laser toward Luke.
The battle on the other side continued, but...
"HAVE A TASTE OF THIS!!""
Suddenly, a really strong gravity field spread from the super ultimate Breakdramon armored Ryouta. All fliers would probably at this point unable to fly at all, their speed cut by 50%. Fortunately for Luke, this means he's not affected because he's underground. However, if he climbs up, without any doubt that he'll be exposed to the gravity. Ryouta keeps battling his copy, but one can already see that the speed change is crippling for him...

Aldamon watched in horror as the Groundramon tried to wrap itself around him and attack them. Running on the pure adrenaline of trying to protect Marshal, Aldamon shot backwards with his wings, narrowly avoiding the attack. Unfortunately, the wingbeat brought the two of them just over the fissure that had appeared. Once Breakdramon's gravity field increased further, it became impossible for Aldamon to fly. He grabbed Marshal tight and prepared for a crash landing near where Luke was.
Marshal wasn't used to this kind of stress on himself. When he and Aldamon crashed down into the underground, he momentarily passed out.
Aldamon saw that his Tamer had fallen unconscious and stepped between him and the present threat, the Groundramon that Luke was fighting against. He looked visibly pissed, which was a rare sight. Without the threat of the gravity field down in the cavern, he could move freely. Without any words, he ran up next to Luke and prepared to intercept the attack that Groundramon was launching.
"Dragon Fang Shot!"
Aldamon's attack seemed...stronger than usual. Most likely due to his anger over his Tamer getting harmed. Maybe he was just imagining it. The fire dragon ripped through the air straight for Groundramon.

Bellamy could only watch in horror as the Groundramon counter-attacked Aldamon. And it seemed to make one last ditch attack, trying to slam down Aldamon and Marshal with it.
"No! Marshal!" Colin shouted, realizing with horror what digimon battles were really like. He was terrified for the other one. He hoped Aldamon would be fine too, him being a Mega level, but... Marshal wouldn't come back if he died. That would be it.
"Aldamon!" Bellamy yelled, the Astamon's face pale with terror. Thankfully Aldamon evaded the attempted throw, but the surge from Breakdramon's gravity brought him down. Bellamy struggled, but he was forced to land too. His feet scraped up dust as he slid down the near vertical platform down to where his brother was. Cursing, he dropped his gun and held Colin with both hands, knowing he had to protect him.
As Aldamon put down the unconscious Marshal, Bellamy put Colin down as well nearby. Colin immediately rushed over to Marshal, trying to pull him to safety.
"Marshal wake up!" Colin begged. He wasn't strong enough to move Marshal very far.
As Luke charged down his Storm Beam, it seemed he had eliminated all of the Dracomon as a threat. But they were replaced by a THIRD Groundramon! Luke braced himself for the hit, but to his surprise, Aldamon blocked it for him. The Dynammon was shocked.
Bellamy meanwhile picked up his dropped Oro Salmon. When this was over, he'd hug Aldamon so hard for saving his brother like this. But there was no time for sentiment, they had to eliminate this threat now.
Backing up Aldamon's dragonfire attack, Bellamy and Luke stood at either side and aimed theirs.
"Darklight!" Bellamy shouted, clicking his fingers and setting a blast of black flames straight at the Groundramon's face.
"Gluon Gun!" Luke cried, readying his blaster and firing a constant stream of blue energy at it. Not nearly as strong as his Storm Beam, but he hoped the welding-like arc of energy would do damage. He aimed at the eyes again.
- Bellamy uses Darklight on Groundramon.
- Luke uses Gluon Gun on Groundramon. [Storm Beam cooldown: 1/3]

The attack engulfed by the Dragon Fang Shot. It wasn't enough to kill it in one shot, but the Digimon, in its dying breath, saw that two more attack approached it. What left of it after an explosion is a Digitama, slightly bigger than the rest. With the fight above still raging on, it's hard for them to return back up, especially since the gravity field is still there...
Above, Ryouta starting to get more and more wounded. His biomerge is starting to get undone... it won't be long until he unable to get back to this form for the day! Focusing all his strength, Ryouta sheathed his blade and then...
"...Evil, be purified!"
Drawing the blade in such speed and charging, he managed to land a clean hit at the opponent, enough to make a loud sound of explosion, loud enough to be heard until the lower area... However, it was a blessing in disguise. When the tremor stopped, even bigger tremor followed. Outside, a roar far louder than they have ever heard before is heard... This was unlike the Breakdramon back then... The most important thing is... How is Ryouta?

Aldamon, satisfied with his handiwork, rushed over to his Tamer's side and knelt down by it. "Marshal," he grunted. "Now really isn't the best time to be taking a nap."
Huge explosions rocked the area. Aldamon was concerned for Ryu and Ryouta's safety, but the fight above was probably even out of his league. Those two were unbelieveably strong. Resigning himself, he turned to Colin.
"Can I trust you guys to take care of Marshal?" he asked. "I'm going to go help Ryouta."

It seemed their attacks were successful. The third Groundramon went down. Luke and Bellamy were by now panting a little, smoke rising from Luke's blaster. By now, in the silence, both of them were wondering what was happening above ground, as Ryouta and his shadow fought hard. The earth around them shook, rocks falling from the ceiling.
Marshal still wouldn't wake up, something that Colin was finding more and more distressful.
Aldamon seemed unsure about what to do. In the end, he turned to them to ask if they could look after Marshal.
"Wait, you're goin' up there?" Bellamy asked. "But..." he struggled to think of what to say. Of course he should go up there to check on Ryouta and assist him. But at the same time, Bellamy wanted to be with him too.
Luke caught Bellamy's eye and gave a meaningful look, nodding at Colin and Marshal. The Astamon understood. Of course. They were all partner digimon. Just like Colin was one of the most important things in his life, Marshal was this to Aldamon. And if his icon of affection asked to trust them to look after him, then they would.
After all, there was still an injured Groundramon lurking around here somewhere. "Okay, Aldamon, we'll look after Marshal" he promised. "Just... do what you can up there okay? Don't be too long".
With that, Bellamy and Luke stood on guard, watching and waiting for anything that might threaten their partners.

The gravity field indeed has dissipated, but what awaits above there was beyond of one could thought. The moment Aldamon gone up...there was... drip of something, a substance filled with data, but it's like a liquid. Blood. It drips from height unthinkable from a Groundramon... And that's true. Pair of shining, feral red eyes glared at Aldamon, a Black Groundramon, one that Koharu told to exterminate... this one, the one as big as Breakdramon... no, it's actually far bigger. This one is like two Breakdramons lined together. The Groundramon that Aldamon attacked now hanging limply on its mouth, neck nearly fully cut into two, limbs missing...
Even Ryu and Ryouta wasn't in the best condition. A Digimental rest on his hand, but after using such flashy skill, without doubt that Ryouta has ran out of gas. He even frantically trying to mute the roar from the abnormal monster in front of him.
"...I suggest we run," Ryu muttered. "How's the condition of the others down there?"
Despite his hand is on his sword, he clearly doesn't want to face this monster directly just yet. Like a predator toying with its prey and intimidating them... it awaits for their action....

Aldamon shot up into the air, effortlessly making it out of the fissure. It seemed that the gravity field was indeed gone, giving him confidence that Ryouta had finished the battle. What he saw next, however, chilled even the fiery Digimon to the bone. A Black Groundramon, bigger than all the rest, had showed up in front of Ryu and Ryouta. It had the bloody remains of a previous Groundramon in its mouth. It was a truly disgusting sight.
"Everyone's alright down there," Aldamon told Ryu. "Colin and the twins are taking care of Marshal."
Meanwhile, Marshal's eyes fluttered open, to see Colin and the twins standing right near him. Aldamon was nowhere to be seen. He grunted as he slowly sat up. "What happened?" he muttered.
Aldamon sensed that Marshal had woken up. He was getting increasingly good at doing that. Breathing a small sigh of relief, he stared down the giant BlackGroundramon. He knew what he had to do here, even if it cost him everything. "Get Ryouta out of here if you have to," he told Ryu. "I'll do what I can to distract this thing."
As good as Aldamon was getting at sensing Marshal's condition and feelings, his Tamer was still much better at it than he was. Realizing that his Digimon was about to do something ridiculously reckless shook off all the grogginess in an instant. He whipped his head around to look at Bellamy. "Guys! Aldamon's in big trouble! I've gotta help him!" He scrambled through his card deck and found the one he was looking for. Would it work this far away?

This was good, Marshal was awake now. Colin looked at him urgently.
"We've taken out two Groundramon and a bunch of Dracomon, and I think Ryouta's taken care of the Breakdramon up there, but..." there was an ear-splitting roar. Colin, Luke and Bellamy looked up and they could see the looming shadow above, recognizing a large claw in the air as a giant Groundramon's.
"Oh my god" Luke uttered. Could Aldamon handle something like that himself?
"Guys you might wanna get up right now!" Bellamy called. A Groundramon often attacked with earthquakes. And if this one set one off while they were down there, then there was a high chance that they'd all die from a cave-in. Colin found that he agreed, not wanting to be left alone down here. Marshal asked Bellamy to take him up to range with Aldamon.
"Okay, Marshal, I'll take you up there" Bellamy said, holding on to Marshal, then beat his wings as the gravity seemed to return to normal again. Marshal was a bit heavier than Colin, but Bellamy managed. The Astamon looked up.
"Aldamon! There you are!" Bellamy shouted as a blue fire danced across his wings. "Here it comes! Nightingale!" Once again, a glowing blue spirit bird soared through the air up toward Aldamon. It would heal his wounds a little and make him faster for a little while. Hopefully this would give him the edge he needed.
Meanwhile he kept a steady grip on Marshal, getting as close as he could so that the human could scan a card.
Luke meanwhile was preparing to carry Colin to the surface.
"Can you jump that high, Luke?" Colin asked. Even when carrying him, that seemed a little too high.
"Colin, just look at these legs" Luke said, pointing down at his muscular rabbit-like legs. Thankfully Colin just nodded here, hoping that the Dynammon would be able to perform this feat. He holstered his blasters, then picked up Colin carefully. "Ready?"
"Yeah" Colin said. Then felt his stomach lurch as Luke bounded up the stone platform, somehow finding nooks and crannies in the rock to use as footholds. He could leap at least 10 metres in one go. Luke wasn't kidding, Colin realized, he had damn fine legs.
Finally, Luke jumped out of the hole. And immediately what they saw was horrifying. A Groundramon as big as a city building. Ryouta and Ryu victorious, but very weak. And Aldamon facing off the giant dragon alone.
"Colin, you head over to Ryouta, make sure he and Ryu are alright" Luke said. He unholstered his blasters again. "Aldamon! Here's an opening! Thundercast!" he aimed two shots of white energy flashing up at Groundramon. He didn't aim for its eyes this time, but its mouth instead.
- Bellamy uses Nightingale on Aldamon. [Heal + 2 turn Speed buff] Nightingale cooldown: 0/2.
Bellamy is hovering slightly below the entrance of the fallen platform.
- Luke uses Thundercast on Groundramon. Storm Beam cooldown: 3/3.
