Name of Mission: Corrupted Earth
Client: Coredramon (Green)
Levels Needed: Any. Difficulty will scale according to who joins.
Requirements: None
Reward Offered: Reward will vary depending on the overall success of the mission.
Failure: 10 posts and 2,000 bits.
Success: 25 posts and 10,000 bits.
Plot Description: The dusty, sandy lands of the West of the digital world have never been very fertile. However, it has become quite a concern to digimon around the area that the mediocre but adequate harvest they have been growing in the past have now become so dismal that many resident digimon have ceased farming in despair. Even when it rains, hardly anything grows - and the few foods that do grow in the area have been so poor that few would eat it unless desperate.
The digimon of the west have therefore been importing food from the better regions of the East, but the poor condition of the soil seems to be rapidly spreading. Because of this, many have been searching for the reasons why, one of these digimon being Coredramon.
He has found in his recon that the closer to the Ancient Ruins, the worse condition the ground is in. So therefore he has deduced that the condition of the land must be caused by something within these ruins. He hypothesises that the corruption must be linked to the element of Earth.
Mission Description: A group of intrepid adventurers will be hired by Coredramon to enter the ruins and see exactly what is causing the corruption of the land. Once they have found the source of the corruption, they will then be requested to do all that they can to cease the corruption and restore the purity of Earth elemental power in the area.
Objective Summary:
1. Gather outside the ruins for a briefing by Coredramon.
2. Enter the ruins (but be wary of obstacles and traps within).
3. Find the source of the corruption and defeat it.
If you are unable to defeat the source of the corruption, your aim will be to simply escape the ruins and report your findings to Coredramon. This will result in the 'Failure' reward.
