Tadashi had finally found the time to get back to his original purpose out in this part of the Digital World, following the signal on his Xros Loader. So far each signal had led him to one of the totems that the Legendary Warriors had been changed into. And he needed all ten to summon Susanoomon...which would apparently help the Digital World in some way. Nobody was ever very specific about the whole thing.
That's how he found himself trekking through the humid jungle on a friday afternoon, wishing he'd thought to change out of his school uniform before he'd come out this way. The shorter-than-average caucasian teen wasn't even sure which warrior was meant to be out here. Warrior of Sweat, maybe.
The little child-like imp, Flamemon, walks by his side apparently unaffected by the heat. The wolf-themed warrior Lobomon proceeds just ahead of them, using his laserswords to hack a path through the trees until they finally come to a clearing. "Okay. The s-signal isn't..." Tadashi sighs, taking a seat on a tree stump, "Lemme fiddle with this a b-bit. The signal's coming from all over the place,"
Flamemon grunts and throws himself down onto the jungle floor, staring up at the leafy canopy overhead.
"Sure is quiet out th-this way today, huh?"

Timothy, Bibi, and Faluo were goofing off, swinging from vine to vine. Timothy had planned out to go this way and prepared beforehand. Wearing a sleeveless shirt and some cargo shorts. His Digivice was on his wrist like always. Anyways, back to the story. The trio were currently "training", by which, they really mean't they were trying to stay off the ground and in the branches as they jumped from branch to branch. They were totally slacking off about it too and just making the most out of it. Down below, Tadashi might notice random sticks falling or leaves falling at an unusually fast rate. The trio wasn't stealthy at all about it. eventually they stopped and rested against a tree trunk, Bibi shouting, "That was great!"
Faluo nodded, "We didn't actually get anything done, but it was great."
Timothy shrugged, "I don't really care that we didn't make any progress. That was more fun than anything. We'll get stronger in time."
The pair nodded and they continued leaning against the trunk.

Tadashi blinks as a branch falls from above, knocked loose by the trio's antics, and smacks him over the head. "Ow!" He look upwards, rubbing his forehead. The heck is going on up there?
Lobomon turns and glances upwards, resting his hands on the hilts of his extinguished laserswords, just in case there's trouble.
"Hey, wh-who's up there? Quit messing around," Tadashi tries to sound jovial, but boy that stings. "Come on d-down," It sounds more like a request than a command. Maybe it's a Digimon up there. Maybe they know where the spirit totem is. At the very least he can take a different path from them and avoid getting any serious concussions or anything. Well. From them at least. Experience told him to expect some kind of injury by the time he was ready to head home. Burns. A sprained ankle. A cracked rib. It was never easy.

Timothy heard a loud "Ow!" as he was getting ready to rest. He looked down to see some kid about his age looking upwards. Bibi and Faluo had no been looking over to see what it was. Once they knew what it was, they all began making their way down. On the way down, Timothy shouted, "Hello down there!"
The two birds simply glided down, landing long before Timothy. Bibi walked up to Tadeshi and randomly shook his hand in a goofy way, "Hello human! I'm Bibi!"
Faluo let out a sigh then said, "I'm Faluo. We're twins, she's the less... Sane half."
Bibi gave him a look and was about to argue until Timothy made it down and said while crossing his arms, "Not the time guys. Anyways, I'm Timothy. Who're you?"

"Oh, uh. I see. N-nice to meet you both," Oh! And a human! These must be his partners! And around his age, to boot! "I'm T-Tadashi Tenkuji," He points at each of his partners in turn, "That's Flamemon, and that's L-Lobomon," Now that the introductions are done, he sizes up the new arrivals.
The birds look like they're in the rookie stage. The boy looks...uh. Cute. Yeah. That's all he's got. Lobomon offers the smallest incline of his head to the newcomers, and Flamemon gives them the laziest of waves.
"W-wait. Timothy? ...Y-you're not Alice's big brother, are you?" Boy, there sure are a lot of coincidental meetings in this world. "I h-helped her find her egg at the bottom of the ocean," Hopefully that'll buy him a few points with the kid. He seems a little...stand-offish? Or something? Hm.

Timothy didn't know what to think of Tadashi yet, after sizing him up, the teen didn't seem very smart, wearing a school outfit out here. Oh well, Timothy didn't care too much about that though. He held out his hand in greeting, saying, "Nice to meet you."
Faluo returned Lobomon's nod with one of his own and Bibi waved back to Flaremon, only a lot goofier looking. She said aloud, "Hello!"
Faluo sighed, only saying, You've already said that..."
"I know!"
Timothy let out a sigh, but jumped in surprise at Tadashi knowing Alice, "You've met Alice and helped her get her egg? Well then..." He didn't know what to think of that, this was some person twice his age hanging out with his little sister, but all-in-all, he seemed good enough. After a moment of thought, he said, "Well, thanks for that. She probably wouldn't have been able to get it herself with all the big things out here."

Tadashi shakes the boy's hand with a slightly coy smile plastered across his face. Dork.
Goofier than Flamemon? My, oh my!
"No n-need to thank me. We k-kind of take it on ourselves to help people out when we see anyone struggling a little. I'm sure your sister would've b-been fine, but, uh. Well. There was a Seadramon, and...y'know. Stuff," He coughs. Yeah, no. Surely that little girl would've been fine with the gigantic sea serpent if you'd left her alone, Tadashi.
"She kept yellin' a lot. She was totally scared of everything," Flamemon announces with a loud yawn.
"Internalize it, F-Flamemon. No need to be a j-jerk," Tadashi sighs. This clearly isn't the first time they've had a conversation like this. Much like Timothy didn't know what to think of Tadashi, the reverse was equally true. He clearly hadn't come here straight from school via magical demon train. Alice had said he explored weird places in the Digital World, like snowy peaks, so he supposed maybe that's what the other teen was doing out here. But it never hurts to ask, "What, uh...what're you d-doing out this way, anyway? We didn't expect to see another human in the J-Jungle today. Not that I'm complaining,"

Timothy listened to what they said, all of it, then nodded, "Yep... That's Alice... She doesn't seem to understand that the Digital World isn't a completely scary place yet. Can't blame her, being thrown into the Dark area on her first time and all." He shivered at the thought of it then relaxed a moment as Bibi and Faluo continued, "She's fun, now that she knows I'm a real being, I get an excuse to try and get in on her pranks on Timothy."
Faluo bonked her on the back of the head, shouting, "He's right behind you, you lump of coal for a brain!"
"Not my fault you don't get involved, it's fun."
Timothy sighed, it wasn't fun for him. He then listened to the last bit about why he was out here, "Well... My Digimon and I were 'training'. They're getting unusually powerful and I want to see if we can't push that limit. We definitely were not just goofing off up there and being lazy about it!" That last part sounded awfully guilty.

"Ah. I have a f-friend who got thrown that way a few times when he f-first got his Digivice too. This place is crazy like that," Tadashi offers a grimace. His own first trip hadn't been too bad by comparrison. He'd been alone for an hour or two, but found Flamemon pretty quickly after that.
The imp in question seems to be largely ignoring the newcomers. They're not interesting enough for his liking, apparently.
Tadashi turns back to Timothy with his most charming smile after being momentarily distracted by his self-reflections and flashbacks. What a dork. "Unusually powerful, huh? Y-yeah, I can relate," his smile turns into a dazzling grin at the last part, "Aw. Well, g-goofing off or not, I was w-wondering if you'd seen a little statuette around here?" He spaces his hands about five inches apart, "About th-this tall. Uh. Although even if not, I certainly wouldn't mind some extra company. N-not that my partners aren't wodnerful, but. They're not much to look at," You should probably read into that, Timothy. He's clearly a total creep.
Flamemone would be offended if he could be bothered to think.

Timothy shuddered at the thought of appearing in the Dark Area on your first trip to the Digital World. It can't get much worse than that, having to see all that terror as your first adventure. After a moment longer, he got a hold of himself, "I haven't gone there due to the stories, don't feel ready enough for something that dangerous yet."
Timothy continued listening, totally catching onto the creepy vibe that his text was giving off. He thought for a moment, then said, "I haven't seen any statuettes, no... Anyways, about teaming up... Hang on. Bibi, Faluo! Team meeting!" The trio went around a tree the moment and began a series of whispers.
"Am I the only one getting creeped out by this guy?"
"Yes."
"You're hallucinating."
Timothy sighed, then said, "Alright, but if this goes bad, it's your faults."
They all walked back out and Timothy said, "We'd uhh... Be fine with joining you... He didn't sound too worried, though he was being cautious now.

Lobomon watches the three closely
Tadashi flashes the same smile again, turning his attention back to his Xros Loader for a moment. The flashing light resolves into a more precise directional indicator and Tadashi fistpumps. "Alright. Looks like we've got a d-d-direction! C'mon, guys,"
He starts walking, pausing only when it's obvious Flamemon's dozed off. Rather than wake him, he sighs and returns him to the Xros Loader's memory bank in with a pulse of white energy. Lobomon resumes slicing through the foliage infront of them, whilst Tadashi considers his new traveling companions.
"So. I know Alice is new to all th-this stuff, T-T-Timothy," Boy, that name's a struggle for his stammer, apparently, "but how long have you been dealing with Digimon related st-stuff? Seems like quite a while,"

Timothy follows Tadashi as Lobomon is cutting them a path. Bibi and Faluo were at either side of him, looking around curiously for anything that screams statuette. They weren't expecting to find anything, seeing as they had no clue what to look out for.
Timothy listened to Tadashi's question, then said, "We've been hanging out for a few months now. We can currently hit our Armor Ultimate states. It's primarily why I'm interested their boost in power recently, they could be getting close to a true Ultimate."
Bibi and Faluo both nod as they continue, fully aware of their possible upgrade soon.

Tadashi has to consider his response to that, "Armor, huh? That's those crazy egg things s-some people have? That's wild, man," he smiles, "None of my partners can D-Digivolve, but they can combine into new forms,"
He isn't sure whether the other boy'll know about Xros Generals after all. Recent experience says 'no'.
"D-do you need a trinket to help them reach Ultimate? Like m-more eggs? Or can they do that naturally? Sorry, I don't know how it works for regular Tamers," the stammering caucasian teen admits with a bashful smile.
He stops suddenly, changes directly slightly, and then continues onwards. Lobomon pauses as well, glancing up into the canopy, and then continuing onwards. Tadashi lowers his voice a little and, and steps closer to Timothy in order to mumble effectively, "I th-think we're being followed. K-keep acting like we haven't noticed for now, alright?"
Whoa there, buddy! Invading personal space... Admittedly he probably needs to be close to whisper properly, but still! Right after the conversation about what a creep he was! Quickly! Stab him, Tim!

Timothy nodded, "They're really cool in that form too." After so long with his Digimon, they had made him actually love and trust them, contrary to their constant arguing. He finished off by saying, "I've never actually met someone who fuses Digimon together contrary to Digivolving."
He crossed his arms, thinking, did he need a trinket? Hopefully not for DNA Digivolution, because it would be really awkward if that held them back. Eventually stating, "I... Don't know if I'll need one or not."
The second Tadashi got creepily close to Timothy, he shuddeed for a second, though continued on, giving a silent nod. He glanced down at Bibi and Faluo for a second before they shrugged and they all continued on. Whatever was following them would be in for a surprise.

Tadashi moves away again after whispering. Thank god! "Oh! Well, m-maybe I'll g-get to show you some fusing later. I can fuse Mercurymon and Duskmon into DarkTrailmon. It's how I usually g-get from place-to-place," Ah. Sounds like he's offering a ride back when you're both done out here. Good stuff.
"Hm. I'm sure you'll be fine. If you needed a trinket, your Digivice would p-probably tell you, right? Mine tells me where important things are, and I kn-know that spirit-using people are often led to th-their spirits by their Digivices, so. If it's not telling you anything, you're probably good," Well. There's probably some logic to that.
Tadashi turns a corner and steps into a clearing. A big one.
There's a large, deep lake that forms a sort-of 'moat', with an island in the middle. A small structure is visible, but it's so far away that it's impossible to make out any details. Tadashi sighs. "G-guess where we need to go,"
