"Well, yeah. But sometimes, enough trends pop up that you just get sick of a place," Isaac said. "We've been caught in cave-ins, attacked by Digimon far stronger than us, risked our lives several times, and . . . well, let's just say Elliot was quite embarrassed after the fact. At some point, there are just too many unpleasant memories to ignore, even when I know it's silly to attribute that to the tundra."
Had Antylamon ever been outside of the Dark Area? It didn't seem like this. "It's really nice," Isaac said, a tone of nostalgia in his voice. "Warm. And the sea smells nice. And there's a lot of people, but also a lot of nice places to get away from them. It's all a good balance, even if it can be loud. I hope you can see it sometime soon."
Not now soon, though. They had to focus on getting out of here first. "I'll be sure to fly instead," Isaac said, pulling up his legs and letting NeoDevimon's wide wingspan do the work for him. "Although . . . if my hunch is right, what we're looking for might be below the surface. When I last found the fractal code of an area, it was deep in the bowels of a temple seeping with corruption.
What would you say is the most central part of this sanctum? Like, the thing you made before anything else? That might be where the code has settled. The other most likely option is what you consider the most important place here. It's heart, so to speak. If we check those, we'll probably find what we're after."
As much as Isaac wanted to continue his chat, Antylamon raised a good point. Now they were fighting against the clock. After giving a nod of acknowledgement towards Meicoomon, he turned to Antylamon. "Lead the way, then," he said, figuring she'd know her own realm better than he would. "We can walk and talk."
Hopefully she could move while doubled over laughing! "Youngest sister, got it," Isaac said, wondering how such a dumb idea ever came to his mind. "Although, why blame her for what's currently going on? Is she the one who decided you should all be spirits?"

"Humans are strange," the rabbit commented, with a roll of the eyes. Maybe it was just because they were weak. "The Digital World is essentially made of risks and stronger creatures. If those were reason enough to avoid a place, I wouldn't have stayed here." Then again, one of the members of this conversation was far more alive than the other! Maybe that was a sign that Isaac's decision to avoid the Tundra was a wise one!
Tilting her head, Antylamon attempted to envision what Isaac was describing. For the most part, she was just picturing the Sea of Blood, which really didn't sound like something that someone would gush about. "I do not like loud things," the beast informed, while reaching up to lightly pull one of her own ears, "sensitive hearing." It all sounded more like Kinkakumon's thing than something that she was interested in, anyway!
Antlyamon's interest had always been in her sanctuary, anyway. "The walls came first. Then the moon. Then scenery and second floor," she listed, as if reciting from a piece of paper, "then the sun. The top floor and the lower floor were last, and still incomplete." But, what was really important? "Everything is equally valuable. Without one aspect, everything else would fall apart, wouldn't it?" Was there much of a heart? Either way, the creature made no movement. "Lead to where? If I step toward the exit, the ceiling collapses," she reminded, casually. Nobody really wanted to be crushed by a moon today!
Once her laughing had faded, the Digimon took a deep breath. "Do you really think I would agree to such an unpleasant idea?" Of course not! Antylamon didn't particularly care to be strapped to a human until they were tired of her! If she had wanted that, she'd have tried to look into becoming someone's partner! With a scrunch of the nose, the spirit gave an irritated sounding tone, properly answering with, "it's because someone had attempted to die on us." Eyes focused on Isaac's mask, hoping she could get her opinions to sink in at this point. "As I've said, family doesn't separate."

"Doesn't mean I can't look for a change of pace," Isaac said, shrugging. "For every day spent defying death, it can be nice taking a chance to hit the beach, lie on a comfy bed, or go on a date instead. Life can't entirely be about the struggle." That said, ignoring the struggle was every bit as foolish as fixating on it was. Maybe that was why Isaac was so insistent on trying to make a difference, even when everything had fallen on his shoulders.
Maybe they had different priorities, though. For instance, Antylamon's ears made enjoying a loud day in a beach or city way harder. "Yeah. Neither does NeoDevimon," Isaac said. "I tried meditating with him in Whitewater before Whiskers came to look for me. It was . . . unwise." Just mentioning the city got a slight groan coming from NeoDevimon's throat, but Isaac quickly hushed those impulses.
Walls and heavenly bodies came first, huh? Isaac wasn't very sure where the fractal code could've possibly settled in this case. If there was some altar to Antylamon, or perhaps a core that this place was built around, this would've been easier. Instead, things weren't nearly so cut-and-dry. "That's true," he said, wondering if he'd either have to rephrase his question or remake his search. However, he was hit by an idea. "What about the room where you've dwelled? Do you think there's a chance I could still access it, or is it likely nothing by now?" That was the closest thing to a true sanctum which Isaac could envision at the time.
It sounded like Renamon had died, and the entire family regressed to spirit form in order to remain together. Isaac hung his head in sorrow briefly. No wonder Antylamon was so opposed to the idea of him and Elliot splitting up. "A noble sacrifice," he finally said. Was that why Kinkakumon had died so suddenly on Ginkakumon? Speaking of . . .
"And what of Ginkakumon?"

Isaac's changes of pace clearly weren't anything that really interested the rabbit. "Do you go on dates like that?" Giving a gesture that encompassed all of NeoDevimon, it seemed fairly clear that Antylamon wasn't understanding how anyone a spirit user would date would be particularly fond of this appearance choice! Then again, Antylamon also didn't care at all about dating! She had more important things to do! Yatagaramon and her sisters were more than enough for relationship upkeep!
"Doesn't meditating help deal with loud spaces?" It seemed that the rabbit didn't quite see the same struggles as the other spirit! But, regardless, loud noises were unpleasant, and she wasn't going to dive right into a crowded place. That just wasn't her idea of fun! "This room was once a good place for meditation." When it wasn't busy falling apart on her!
Though, Isaac seemed to have some solution, to potentially fix that problem. "Do you mean where my totem was?" Head tilted, before looking up at the sky. "It might still be in tact. The problem is getting back to it." After all, the mirrors that the group had already used to exit were clearly malfunctioning at this point! Lowering one of her feet to the ground, she tapped the dirt with a paw, "In theory, it should still be accessible from the lower floor." There was a slight hesitance in the creature's tone, as she tried to debate if the idea would even work. "But, unless you're good at digging, we've run into our next problem. There are no stairs here." She couldn't just make things easy with this place, could she?
But, nothing involving Antylamon would ever be particularly simple. If only she could figure out what the NeoDevimon was thinking! "Noble?" What was noble? Oh, if only she could correct his way of thinking! But, Isaac was already onto one of his loose threads. "What about him?"

"Like this?" Isaac blinked, trying to resist the shuddering laugh that threatened to gurgle right out of his throat. "I can barely go on a walk in this form without it being disturbed by a particularly bright ray of sunshine or noisy bird. I'm pretty sure if I brought it to an arcade, it'd drop dead of a heart attack." Also, it was ugly. Quite warm, but anyone who wanted to snuggle up to it would have to get used to a case of butterface so bad that not even a mask could hide it. A 6 pack and a wasp waist didn't mean anything when they were paired with giant red machine parts and horribly distended noodle limbs. Yeah, Isaac was going to be leaving this form in the back when going on dates.
"It does help. That's why I've been trying," Isaac said. "Elliot had been trying with NeoDevimon, in the days before the incident. Sol recommended it to us as a way of getting inside of our spirits' heads, sharing their mindsets, and working with each other to ease things. It was especially for our . . . less stable spirits, hence why Gargoylemon prompted the discussion." Isaac looked down at his hands, sighing. "If I knew what it was like bearing a form like that, I would've tried even easier to help him with that," he said, sullenly. "The fact that he willingly took it on just to keep Maia safe and rescue me . . . he's really strong."
Antylamon had Isaac at the word digging. Immediately the NeoDevimon hunched over, frantically slashing at the ground with his claws. They buzzed and vibrated along the way, almost as if they were trying to be power tools. "My claws are long," Isaac said as he really buckled down and got to work, trying to shred the dirt and get to the spiritual sanctum within. There had to be something. There had to be. For once in his life, Isaac wanted to actually tell the impossible off instead of sitting back and letting it happen. If only Elliot had been here. Sandiramon sliced through the ground like a hot, snake-shaped knife through butter.
Isaac nodded at the word, even if he was far too consumed by digging to look back up at Antylamon. "Shedding your physical forms just to remain with your sister," he said, each syllable punctuated with another swipe. Jeez, Isaac was going to town on this dirt, wasn't he? "Bonds beyond death, and any sort of time. It's inspiring.
But isn't Ginkakumon family too? Does he count as someone to never part ways with, or is he not the sort of family that you speak of?"

Bright lights and noisy birds? That was all it was going to take? Oh, that could be so much fun! But, a different part of the statement had caught the rabbit's attention even more. "What's an arcade?" Head tilted, curiously, while trying to figure out what the word could even allude to. Like, architecture? Why would that upset someone? This just didn't make sense!
Tilting her head to the other side, Antylamon listened to the discussion of meditation, before looking up at the sky. "Now, is that where that memory comes from?" Again, the earlier roar of a Gargoylemon echoed the area, causing the moon to rattle in the sky. "I'm still working out the details on some of these. This human has too many." Memories were hard to sort out sometimes! All Antylamon could tell was that Asher's experience with Gargoylemon was moderately alarming! "It's hard to empathize with someone, when you don't understand them." That was the closest to comforting the Ultimate could pull from that! She had no idea what constituted as bravery in this instance!
"Oh my," the creature muttered, leaning back a little from NeoDevimon. Well, that was one way to get her to accept some personal space! "And, what will you do if you find that everything is already destroyed?" Pessimistic? Perhaps. But, it was best to prepare for the worst! Still, the fallen angel was making progress! He would soon stumble across a root system, that kept the floor from completely caving in all the time! With any luck, a little instability wouldn't make the entire floor give way! Antylamon couldn't see it working out that badly, at least. Just to be safe, she subtly shifted toward Whiskers, in case the feline needed to be scooped up before anyone could fall.
Though, hopefully the fall wouldn't happen any time soon, if at all, because Antylamon's guard lowered again, giving off another chime of laughter. "You miss the mark every time," she snickered, wrapping her arms around her thin torso, "we didn't do this just to be with her. All of us wanted to live." And, this led perfectly into her next answer! "Which is why Kinkakumon did not tell her brother what we were doing." There was another need to quickly add in, "though, for the record, I do not consider him my sibling."

Right. Antylamon had lain dormant for countless Digimon years. She probably didn't even know what a video game was, let alone that there were entire buildings where people devoted their time to playing them. "It's a room full of all kinds of games," Isaac started. "Except on screens, so you can see them instead of just imagining them. And a lot of people get together to try these games, whether with each other or against each other. So there's a lot of color, a lot of flashing lights, a lot of people cheering and yelling. Really great fun for me. Not so great to NeoDevimon, who I'm fairly sure is still enthralled by light bulbs." Isaac was definitely feeling more comfortable opening up to Antylamon, even about his spirit woes. It seemed some time not at each other's throats was doing their working relationship well.
Less well was how NeoDevimon reacted to Gargoyle, letting out a high pitched shriek as his claws flared out. Having already been digging, this caused him to speed up to uncontrollable levels. He was probably moving too fast to even properly admire the root system! "Wouldn't be surprised if the memory stuck. Having your co-worker's harmless little brother go berserk in your general direction can't be pleasant," Isaac said. "Still. You're right. Once we're able to find each other again, the two of us can understand each other even better. It'll help a lot." The demon's breaths were ragged from the sudden burst of intensity that he had put out, even if now he was back in control. He'd probably burn himself out pretty bad if another surprise like that had happened.
Once reasserting a normal pace, he thought on Antylamon's question. "I can at least say I tried," Isaac said, shrugging his pointed shoulders. "I know I might not succeed. But you at least deserve the effort, right?" Isaac had been far too caught up to appreciate the beauty of the sanctum. Others deserved that chance, even though Isaac had already made his folly. "Besides. It's better than always wondering if we could have saved it, had we just dug a little deeper," he added. A clear mind for Antylamon would be a clear mind for Asher. Both were important.
"Would you have not lived, if Renamon didn't?" Isaac asked, wondering just what Antylamon was talking about now. Were their life forces tied together or something? "And why do you not consider Ginkakumon a sibling? He seemed . . . agreeable, at least," he quickly added. Sure, he had locked Isaac in a nauseous cage with Asher of all people, but that was just standard village protocol from the sounds of it. And he let them go after the misunderstanding was resolved, even letting Asher keep Kinkakumon. It could've been far worse of a first impression!

There was no way that Antylamon was going to imagine an arcade in the way that Isaac was hoping. But, instead, she simply commented, "I like games." But, on screens? How did that work? "Why do people have to cheer and yell?" Yelling made sense, but was it really more than the equivalent of a small family dispute? Given, Antylamon's family was probably a lot more explosive than Isaac's ever was. It was a shame the Digimon couldn't stand loud noises!
Now, if only Antylamon knew about Bug Zappers. She would have loved to put one of those in front of NeoDevimon, with her new knowledge! He was probably more moth than fallen angel! She could have so much fun with that! But, the Gargoylemon imitation would have to do for now! "He clearly wasn't harmless," she pointed out, while shifting again to ensure Whisker's safety from NeoDevimon. It was unlikely that the spirit would do anything, but with random loud sounds, one could never be so sure!
As the roots were giving way, Isaac would probably find the dirt beginning to crumble oddly, as if it was falling through cracks. Mostly because it was. Actually, no, entirely because it was! What couldn't remain packed together was simply slipping through what remained of the root system. "How well can you see in the dark?" That suddenly felt like a very important question! Then again, it wouldn't surprise the rabbit any, if parts of NeoDevimon were to glow. Once he broke away a little more, it would seem to be a completely black hole in the ground. But, at least that implied that everything wasn't caved in.
Still waiting for the digimon to finish being a shovel, Antylamon felt generous enough to continue the conversation. After all, he was trying to help keep some of her work in tact! "It likely would have been a matter of time. Someone had to die eventually. It was just a matter of who, and how suddenly." Surely, that didn't answer the question that Isaac was hoping would be answered! But, maybe she'd give a better response to the next one! "When Kinkakumon was adopted, she was dragging along his egg. By the time he was at a coherent state, I had already begun this project. There was no point in bonding, then." Tilting her head, she added, "unless, you were more asking why he's alive and we're not." Was she really dead, though? She was talking! And moving! With mostly free will! "In which, that's because Kinkakumon didn't tell him what was happening."

Clearly, Antylamon was not feeling the arcade spirit if she had to ask that. However, NeoDevimon was nodding his head in clear agreement, so Isaac was vastly outnumbered here. Stupid, control-stealing devil. Nevertheless, he did his best to explain. "Well, some of the games are competitive, so you get a lot of friendly trash talking when people get really into it," he started. "And a lot of them are really flashy, so they get a lot of spectators cheering them on. Sometimes you get more people watching Street Fighter or DDR than you get playing all the other games combined. And then there's the high scores, where you're competing against people's records when they aren't even around. It's all surprisingly social, for a bunch of video games." Isaac wasn't even big on video games and he could still see the appeal. Of course, he was hella biased.
Isaac let out a small, irritated click of his tongue as Antylamon mentioned how not harmless Elliot was. "He was so guilty after the fact I could barely get him out of his room," Isaac admitted. "I think a part of him is still afraid of that power. Can't imagine the mission we went on made it any easier for him. But you're right. Ever since we inherited these spirits, neither of us can say we're harmless anymore." It was a heavy burden, and one each brother was fighting to bear in their own way. There was an ebb and flow to such matters. Balance was essential to maintain, even when it seemed impossible.
Speaking of impossible, NeoDevimon had found a tunnel against all odds. When asked about seeing in the dark, Isaac cheerily admitted "Not at all." Fortunately, after a few snaps of his brassy fingers, a shower of sparks began lighting the way for NeoDevimon. "But I'll manage," Isaac added, following the sprinkler-like trail that his fingers were currently kicking up.
As he climbed down the hole he continued speaking about Antylamon's history. "Understandable," he said as Antylamon mentioned Ginkakumon's recency in entering the family. The poor guy. He probably knew his big sister for quite a short time before she was taken away from him to complete the spirit project. Isaac was definitely going to poke Asher about revisiting in a bit. It was only fair. That was besides the point, though. Right now, Isaac had a never-before-heard chance to understand the spirit process. Elliot would've jumped at the chance to learn more, but even Isaac's curiosity was quite piqued. "How did you design the project? And how did you create the spirits?" he asked, head tilting a little bit too far with interest.

While the rabbit attempted to understand everything that Isaac was saying, she honestly couldn't understand what Street Fighter or DDR was. "How do you fight in a street, if you are in an arcade?" Was Isaac seriously going to sound like the smart one here? Because, Antylamon surely didn't! She couldn't imagine any of this right now, anyway! Maybe it would be better to drop the subject. This Digimon was probably never going to understand.
"I wish I had been in your mission," she commented, airily. Yes, it probably would have been just the kind of excitement that Antylamon would take enjoyment in! Luckily for everyone else, she couldn't have! "Though, nothing's harmless, in its own way," she felt the need to argue. It just depended on what was being harmed!
In this case, it was luckily just the ground. Taking a look at the rookie among them, Antylamon tilted her head. "Perhaps, you should wait outside. If you happen to see my familiars, will you explain to them what's happening?"
The Meicoomon's ears flattened, trying to decide what to go with. Unlike Isaac, she could see quite well in the dark! But, also unlike Isaac, she was pretty much useless right now! "I guess," she finally answered, looking around the room. "Mew guys are going to be okay?" Rather than responding, the Antylamon moved to follow Isaac, leaving poor Whiskers even more concerned than before. But, either way, she processed her lack of welcome, and cautiously began toward the exit.
Okay, even if Isaac wasn't glow-in-the-dark himself, sprinkler-fingers was basically the same thing as far as Antylamon was concerned! She should have figured! Following down the hole, she mulled over her options for responses. "Design?" She repeated, clearly confused. "We didn't design anything. Or plan for this. It was just the aftermath of-" Cutting herself off, the rabbit decided to reassess her word choices. After a while, Isaac would find the area opening up into a legitimately sized cave, that seemed quite dark. Though, tiny scuffling sounds might have reached his paranoid ears. "We became spirits, essentially by accident. To put it simply," she concluded, while glancing around in the darkness.

Right. Antylamon didn't even know what video games were, so she wouldn't have any frame of reference for Street Fighter. "You don't actually fight in the street. For one of the games, you control guys fighting in the street." Isaac paused for a second, realizing he may have been missing something here. "Virtual ones. If there were actually people fighting in the street, they'd be kicked out. Or else the arcade would be sued for it." Sometimes, people really did street fight over a game of Street Fighter, and the security at the arcade got to do something a little more exciting than stop kids from breaking the machines' coin banks open. But that was a rarity.
At Antylamon mentioning a desire to go on the D-Reaper mission, NeoDevimon suddenly became eerily still. Isaac's voice was back to its earlier seriousness as NeoDevimon's head rotated nearly 180 degrees in order to face Antylamon. "If you were there, you would say different. Trust me," he said, all six of his eyes narrowed suspiciously. "Nobody who came into that mission came out of it the same. And while in some ways stronger, never for the better." Maia had left in a furious, stressed-looking huff. Elliot had practically dragged himself to the nearest Trailmon. And Isaac was pretty self-explanatory. There were pyrrhic victories all around, at least for those who Isaac knew well enough to gauge. Maybe Scout had lucked out and came out of it all okay.
It seemed Meicoomon was being split from the group now, leaving Isaac and Antylamon alone. Ideal? Probably not in the slightest. Briefly, Isaac wondered if Antylamon predicted danger in the depths. "Thank you," Isaac admitted as he started to walk away from the Meicoomon. "I needed to find somebody I trusted.
I didn't come this far to let you down on that front. I promise, we will be okay."
With those parting words, Isaac and Antylamon could navigate the tunnel. Every time Isaac heard a scuttle he aimed his sparks in that direction, hoping to get a glimpse as to just what was making that horrible noise. "The aftermath of what?" he asked as he searched, noting that for the first time Antylamon had doubled back on something. Having her usual self-assuredness gone was far too interesting to pass up, and Isaac saw his chance to finally dig deeper.

"I feel that I would rather fight in the street," the Ultimate concluded, after only a second of thought. Who wanted to busy themselves with games, when they could experience the real thing? Antylamon would like to see someone try to kick her out of someplace, anyway! It could be fun! If only she had been able to provoke NeoDevimon better, when she'd awoken.
It was definitely too late to attempt that again, now.
Either way, she was still certain that she would have enjoyed this mission far more than anyone else present. "I would like to see the challenge that change presents," she commented, with a small shrug. If the rabbit processed what kind of emotion Isaac might be feeling right now, she was obviously ignoring it! Then again, Antylamon was all for challenge, and she didn't really have the emotional attachment to anyone that humans did! Maybe, it really wouldn't have bothered her that much!
Antylamon had no way of predicting anything, really! If she did, she would have known if this was a pointless endeavor before making NeoDevimon do a ton of digging! With Whiskers out of the picture, now the two were stuck alone. Which made for one less 'convenient' distraction, if the Beast had hoped to cease their topic. She supposed simply refusing to answer would work, but since Isaac was going through this much effort for her, she was inclined to entertain. "Everyone grieves in their own way," she stated, while looking around in the dark. "Our mother did not handle the essential loss of her child as well as anyone could hope." Now, there was a pause, as something felt essential to add, "I do not know whether to advise you stay far away, when she is found. Or suggest being uncomfortably close."
Just like the sounds were close! Shifting from a scuttling to a sound akin to a bowling ball rolling across the floor, the noise came from multiple points throughout the room. When NeoDevimon pointed his sparks toward the closest sound, it let out a squeak, before a small light formed near the ground. The three eyes of a baby Bommon glinted from the flare that began on its fuse, while a high-pitched screech emitted from the monster. And, one-by-one, about a dozen others scattering the room began to do the same.
Immediately, Antylamon lifted her paws to clamp her ears to her head, finding the sound utterly dizzying. "Why did you have to wake babies?" Though, could she really expect an answer? She wasn't even sure if NeoDevimon could hear her over the noise!

"I figured you would," Isaac said, as Antylamon mentioned her preference for actual street fighters. Did she live off of being a contrarian, or was it just a side hobby for her? "Unfortunately, the human world doesn't have many places where you can just freely fight others. Unless you take up a martial art or something. Maybe Asher could try that. I think it'd be therapeutic for him." Is Isaac saying that because Asher could beat people up, or because he had no chill and needed meditation? Regardless of the case, Isaac could see it being an improvement.
Antylamon's attitude sure wasn't one. Isaac simply let the question hang, NeoDevimon growling lowly to show his displeasure. Beyond that, he was quiet.
At hearing the origins of this "project," though, he became far more sympathetic. It sounded like Renamon was less the cause and more the catalyst, if Mama Spiritmaker had anything to say about it. "My condolences," Isaac said, voice low. Although, something Antylamon had to say caught Isaac's ear quite strongly. "Wait, uncomfortably close?" Isaac asked, wondering first what the heck that meant and secondly how the heck that would help anyone.
Better to get uncomfortably close to a mom than to a bunch of babies, though. The Bommon started scattering around and shrieking, and Isaac was very, very afraid of that meaning incoming explosions. Immediately Isaac raised a claw to his mask, letting out a gentle "ssssssh" noise. It sounded more like metal scrapings, but he tried his best!
With that established, he cleared his throat and started to sing. "Go to sleep, go to sleep, go to sleep little Bommon . . . " Even with the distortion in his voice, it was the most gentle that NeoDevimon had ever sounded. It seemed Isaac just had a natural affinity for kids, even in a state like this. The real question was, would the kids agree?

For a moment, the rabbit mulled over the idea of martial arts. That was, at least, a term she was familiar with! Giving a hum, the Digimon suddenly stopped, as a wave of nausea passed through her. Oh, well, that wasn't a feeling that she had missed at all! "I think the concept, alone, makes him uncomfortable," she soon commented, while subtly scrunching her nose. Uncomfortable might be an understatement, even!
Without much left on the topic of the mission-gone-awry, Antylamon had to focus on the next subject. "No point dwelling on the past," she commented, in some attempt to dismiss any chance of sympathy. The beast didn't need any of that! "Well, She didn't necessarily leave this world of her own will. I suspect she will not be in the best of moods when she resurfaces," the rabbit hummed, thoughtfully. "Either you should ensure that you are not nearby. Or, you should hope that you're capable of keeping her host sane." It looked like Asher still didn't get an actual name from his spirit! But, why would she ever call him by his name?
"Maybe, you'll get lucky, and a long nap will have done some good for her." Yes. An incredibly long nap! Oversleeping never hurt anyone! Right?
Continuing to flatten her ears to her head, Antylamon watched Isaac's attempts to settle the little ones. This was the best that she'd seen NeoDevimon, since he had entered her home! While not every one of the tiny monsters settled down, he managed to silence at least half of them in his first attempts. A few seemed interested in the scary creature's singing, while the others that had grown silent may have only done so in sheer terror and confusion. After all, Isaac wasn't the kindest looking presence in the room right now! The handful of others continued to screech and roll, making it hard to keep the silenced ones settled.
Maybe Isaac needed another song. Some of these babies just weren't having it. But, hopefully, he would get them calmed down soon. After all, if there were this many babies, there had to be someone watching over them, right?

Isaac blinked. Was the idea outright that uncomfortable to Asher, to the point where Antylamon herself looked disgusted with an idea she seemed quite content considering earlier? "He's always seemed really against violence. Guess that's the case even in a mediated, non-violent context," Isaac observed. "It's funny. Elliot's always been the same way. Until the Digital World, I don't even think I could've imagined him defending himself. It was-." NeoDevimon trailed off, trying to think of the right word.
"Concerning," he finally settled on. "But at least I could help protect him."
It seemed in her attempt at preserving the children which she had loved, Junomon had accidentally sealed herself as well. Or perhaps another sealed her, as she had become far too dangerous in her grief? Isaac was slowly but steadily trying to pull back the veil on all of this. "Unfortunately, I think I drive Asher crazy more often than not," he said, laughing with the slightest hint of a bitter tone. The one person Asher, or at least a form of Asher, was trusting with this knowledge was also probably the absolute worst fit for the job. "Still. I'll do what I can to help, whether far or near.
How did she turn Digimon into spirits?"
It seemed like the Bommon were mostly silenced by a mixture of love and fear. Did that mean he was destined to become a good king? No good king only ruled half of the kingdom, though, so Isaac figured he'd have to pick a method slightly less terrifying than singing. If Elliot was here, he would totally put on that goofy Strikedramon vs. Orochimon play for the children. However, the current state of that plan had at least five or six different things wrong with it. Without that, Isaac had to improvise.
"Goodnight . . . cave," he started, realizing that this would be way harder when he was in a featureless cave. "Goodnight, door. Goodnight, sparks that touch the floor. Goodnight, tea, and its party too. Goodnight, wizard, in cape of blue . . ."
And so Isaac continued, improvising up his own riff on "Goodnight, Moon" and thanking his lucky stars that NeoDevimon's hyper awareness helped him memorize most of the details. While he elected to leave out lines like 'goodnight horrifying Gargoylemon scream' and 'goodnight, falling star that will kill us all,' he got most of the child safe details down to a T!
Wait. Did Antylamon know there were babies not evacuated out of her sanctuary before it started to crumble? "What the heck are they doing here?" he whispered by the time he had finished. Best case scenario, babies orphaned in the Dark Area after the sanctuary collapsed. Worst case scenario, tons of dead babies on Isaac's hands. How the heck had Antylamon not thought to put emergency evacuation signs when she was making the moon and the stars and all of that junk?
