Kind of a mess outside, haven't really seen too many people come through. Pity that.
K found herself idly washing off the counter-top that took up a good portion of the right side of the room. Its location allowed her to help seat guests, keep an eye on the people who come and go as well as checking to see how the cooks were doing by sticking her head through the door that led back into the kitchen. Though today she found that business was very slow; the rain had rather heavy making many digimon likely take cover in the little bits they were able to find.
Shaking her head softly the renamon trotted around the inn's table areas checking to see if there was any trash that she had missed. Last night there had been quite an uproarious party; some kind of mission that had been successful and the digimon involved had drunk quite heavily. She knew that she still had plenty of drinks and the like in storage but the amount that they had burned through had been quite surprising. Finding an offending plate that had been hidden under one of the tables she shook her head again.
"Canton! Got another plate for you to wash."
One of the cooks stuck his head out of the door, looking around and scowling slightly when the renamon waved the plate idly from where she stood. The leomon was missing an arm sure but that didn't really affect how he cooked or how he washed dishes. If anything it just made his one good arm much more valuable. They had spoken a few times about getting a prosthetic but he wouldn't settle for the clunkier cheaper version. Trotting back over to the leomon K handed him the plate; shooting him a little smile before the leomon vanished into the kitchen.
I hope no one's caught in this storm; be a real shame."
The renamon sighed a little bit and eyed the stairs that led to the upstairs portion of the inn. She had one customer that hadn't checked out yet, but they had said that they wanted to stay a few days. They had been real mess when they came in, but their bits were good much to the renamon's surprise. Been able to pay for a room as well as some food. The goblin esq digimon had of course had the Innkeep a little worried that he might be bringing trouble to her inn but nothing had come of it yet. She'd pick up a broom and start sweeping; the howling of the storm making itself known with how the re-enforced doors were acting....

Rain. Not as bad as snow, but still cold and annoying. "Rain. Rain. Rain. Rain. Rain. Rain. RAAAAYHAYEEEYAAAIIIGNN! Dante, make the rain go away..." "How about I make you go away?" A Digimon and his human are trudging on through the storm. The Tamer is a slender young man wearing a long black leather jacket with a hood, with black jeans and a black belt for carrying things. The Worm King rides along inside Dante's jacket, all bundled up in Dante's red scarf. Just as it seems like he can't possibly go on, Dante spies an inn up ahead. "Rain. Rain. Rain. Rain. RAAAAAAIN..." "Hang on, little buddy. I think our luck is about to change."
Dante reaches an unfamiliar inn. The Worm King had just battled with a very angry plant Digimon out in the jungle, and got caught up in the storm. Dante walks inside and takes off his hood, revealing slightly wet long messy blonde hair. Wormmon pops his head out of Dante's jacket. *Sniff sniff* "Ooooooooooh I smell food! Warm sweet and sour yummy super crunchy delicious foooood!" "Yes, with all due respect you get a little more wound up than usual when you are hungry. Looks like we will be staying here tonight." Dante and Wormmon look around side to side in opposite directions of each other looking for a host or the innkeeper.

K's ears flicked as she could hear someone speaking outside of her inn; the rain certainly wasn't helping with making out what they were saying but she found the time to set the broom aside and get some towels. No doubt whatever the mon or person were they'd be absolutely soaked. She'd set the towels on the table nearest to the entry; certain that they'd likely need them.
She was greeted with the site of a young man and their digimon. The fellow was wearing some kind of jacket with a hood, some jeans and a scarf. All of it was wet; which wasn't a surprise. Though that'd mean she'd have to mop up the entry portion of the inn in order to keep things presentable. She could see that the digimon was a wormmon; one that she hadn't seen before. Since most of the ones she had weren't attached to a human and most of them had been trying to get scraps off the table.
"Good evening you two, If you'd be so kind to hang up your jacket and scarf on the wall to your left! I'm K the innkeeper here; We've got rooms available and food ready to eat just need to know your fancy. If you need laundry to be done we've got changes of clothing that'd likely fit up until they're finished."
She'd give the young man a warm smile and gesture from the pegs on the wall to the towels on the table. She was here to provide a service after all and she would be damned if anything stopped her from doing so. The whole place was certainly well ordered and there were menu's on each table; written in half a dozen different languages from what could be gleamed from the cover.

The devilish duo are greeted by a kind Renamon. Dante looks down at the towels on the table in delight. He's probably never been this excited about towels, but given the circumstances it was very much appreciated. Dante takes off his soaking leather jacket, revealing a red shirt with black and white designs. "Thank you! Sorry about the mess." Dante starts taking his scarf off, but Wormmon unravels and flies out onto the floor. He slips on the water and crashes into the wall. "Owww..." Dante tosses his scarf on his jacket and rushes to pick up Wormmon.
"Hey are you alright?" "I've been better. Let's eat!" Dante sits down at the table. After drying off the Worm King with one towel he dries off his face with the other. They both go over the menus, reading what they can. "Ooh, are you still serving sushi?" "I'm thinking about the lasagna burger." "A lasagna burger? Ooh that sounds good too. Okay, One super tasty lasagna burger for each of us, and also sushi for me!" "What about drinks? Maybe they have something cherry flavored." Wormmon's belly starts to rumble. It won't be long until he tries to eat the towel at this rate. Hopefully they can find some nice beverages to go with their meal. Maybe something hot so they can warm up. It's a good thing they found this inn. At the rate this rain storm is going, they might not have made it to the next stop soon enough. There doesn't seem to be many Digimon here. Maybe because it's getting late.

The two seemed to react to the towels rather positively; she wasn't really expecting that to say the least. But with good service comes good reactions; she took in their apperance for a brief time longer; just in case they decided to cause trouble. She was good with faces; kind of came with the job though. She'd eye the spots that had become wet; noting that she'd likely have to clean those up later. Or have one of her helpers take care of it if it got busier.
"You're welcome dear, It's not a problem. We have mops for this reason."
She'd raise her eyebrows just a bit as they sat down; watching them quietly as they read over the menus. They seemed to skip over some parts; but she lined that up with the parts they likely couldn't read. She could read everything there, in the end it was just data to her. They picked out two items that would likely take a good chef a bit to make. But thankfully she had a chef that was better than that.
"We have sushi yes, wouldn't put them on there otherwise. We do have cherry flavored fruit drinks as well as sodas. Should be about fifteen minutes for the food, for the drinks I'll grab them myself."
She'd give them a soft smile and glance back at the kitchen where canton had stuck his head out of the doorway. Giving her a quizzical look for a moment before popping back in. He was used to the ordering going faster honestly but with customers you never rushed them!
"What about you Sir? What do you want to drink? We've got quite the assortment."
She'd list off a healthy list of beverages, some of them were obviously digital drink while others were human make. She of course had a little cross-world business going on but it took a lot of time and effort to even get some of them. She'd pause for a moment and consider something; while most places wouldn't ask this this was one that did.
"And are either of you old enough to drink liqour? If so I'll need to see some form of verification. Any really would do."
She'd rather not have the chance of any holy digimon breathing down her neck; they were a stickler for all rules regardless of if it was digital or not.

Ban simply wandered through the streets, seemingly unbothered by the storm, despite his small body being kind of pushed around by the wind, he kept his balance astonishingly well, and the cold only bothered him somewhat, regardless, he spied an inn, and decided he needed to get something to heat him up, so he entered, finding a suitable place to shake off the water, at least enough to make him not drip everywhere, after instinctively scanning the room, spotting a Renamon, who was taking an order, before... Hm, this was interesting, the demon lord and her tamer, despite the intimidating reality of their combined power, he approached, regardless, "Well, well, well, it seems fellow wanderers tend to tread the same path, no?" He chuckled, after they gave their order, as to not intrude too much. He realized they were only acquaintances, but he felt it rude to not reveal his presence, as he was one of the first to discover Wormmon's mega evolution, and it's... Violent results. He felt no need to bring that up, however, as it seemed an issue between the two to solve, not really his business. He also nodded a greeting towards the Renamon, "Greetings, could perhaps I trouble you for some towels?" He asked, politely.

Fortunately, Renamon's inn was well stocked with food. "Yes, I will go with the cherry fruit drink." "Okay, umm, two glasses of melon soda, please please!" "How about starting with one?" "Oh come on, Dante! I drink soda all the time." "Remember what you learned about listening? If you can do what I ask when it's just small things like this, it will be easier to control yourself when things get out of hand." "How far out of hand? Well, okay. But this whole thing sounds like an excuse to be bossy." Dante almost catches a glimpse of the cook behind the counter, but doesn't get a good look.
Wormmon turns to the polite Renamon, still wrapped in his somewhat damp towel. Not wet enough to need another, besides Dante still has his. "Yes, a single glass of melon soda, please. And might I say your inn is very lovely." "There we go. You're sounding more mature already." Before Renamon turns to get the drinks, another patron walks into the inn. Dante and Wormmon recognize this yellow furred lion with white hair from a recent adventure. "Hey, Ban! What fun running into you here." "Whoah cool, what's he doing here?"
Wormmon gives Renamon a strange request. "Oh, and for the sushi, can you put cheese on it? And make sure it's melted, but don't melt the sushi." "Is that really necessary?" "Well how many places have sushi and cheese?" He did say he wanted to try it sometime. The duo gets a chance to catch up with Ban. Dante can tell that he's being respectful, not inviting himself to their meal, but the Tamer waves him over and reassures him that he's welcome.
There is the matter about what happened last time they met. Ban is one of the few people, human or Digimon, to know about and have seen Wormmon's Mega form. Dante still isn't sure how Ban feels about that, but as long as there's not a huge battle, there's no reason for the Worm King to push that high. And if he keeps improving his behavior, maybe the Goddess would cooperate with Dante. "So Ban, we only just met recently on our trip to the Hardware Den. What brings you here?" "We went out to fight these stupid plant monsters, but then it started pouring the whole way back, so we are staying here."

"Cherry fruit drink and a melon soda, sounds like a good way to start a meal. Why thank you, I try very hard to keep it like that."
K was paying a little too much attention to the duo to notice someone from further away than the door of her inn. She'd turn her head when the door opened and the elecmon stepped through. She wasn't sure how long this rain would keep up, but that certainly meant that the renamon would have to have more towels ready for those that came in. At least in the entry portion of the inn and the rooms. She'd have to make note to do that quickly if she didn't want to have to keep going back and forth.
"Cheese? Certainly. It'd be difficult to melt the sushi, but just to warn you the outside of the sushi would be a bit warm from the heat of the cheese. It won't ruin the flavor but it'll certainly take a few pieces to get used to."
She was well learned enough of customers to know that many knew one another; it didn't matter who they were or where they came from. Even if it was in the littlest of ways. Giving Ban a small smile and a soft nod at his request; it wouldn't be hard for her to get the towels. They were just behind the counter and she did have some fresh ones still; then there was a small stockpile in the kitchen that she could also grab from if she needed it.
"Certainly, If you'll give me just a moment."
Turning briskly on her heel she'd trot over to the door to the kitchen; quickly opening it and going inside. Canton was already busy with the order; she didn't even have to really tell him what they did order because of the leomon's hearing. One of the other chefs in the room handed her the drinks on a service tray while another handed her the towels. Having multiple cooks was a godsend, even if the main one was Canton. On a busy day she'd likely not be able to walk back here and do something like this. Shaking her head and shooting the chefs a grin before turning on her heel and going out of the door. She'd quickly go over to the table, depositing the drinks in front of their respective 'owners' before handing the towels to ban. She knew how it felt to deal with wet fur and she figured that the elecmon wouldn't want to stay wet for long either.
"Your cherry fruit drink and melon soda for you two! And here is your towels Sir. Would you like something to drink to get things started? We have just about anything you could ask for."
With how the trio was talking with one another she could presume they may dine together. She wasn't going to pry into their business in the least bit; unless they decided to divulge information. Best way of keeping her hands clean as she really didn't want any trouble with her customers.

Before responding to Dante, he simply leaned up and took some towels, "No, thank you, This is more than enough." He thanked her, with a polite nod, before he turned to the other two, "I only wander these days, Honestly I haven't planned to run into you, I suppose we just set off in the same direction." He guessed, shrugging, "I suppose random chance is the closest thing to destiny, and it decided we meet again, but that's just random rambling from me, pay it no mind." He shrugged, turning to a seat at the table, "Ah, Hope you don't mind," He paused, turning towards Dante and Wormmon, realizing it might be rude to just hop up next to them without permission. As he waited for an answer, he sat up on his haunches and grabbed a towel, wiping his head and ears, to dry them off.

The duo is delighted to get their drinks so soon. What luck to find an inn with impeccable service. Maybe the rain was a blessing in disguise. Ban the Elecmon stated that he simply wanders, and that it was perhaps random chance they met again. Dante welcomes Ban to the table. "We would appreciate your company." Dante had spent his life living all around the world, but he is big on Italian culture. A good son of Italy is always happy to have another to enjoy a nice meal with.
Dante starts talking with Ban about destiny, and different philosophical beliefs. "Some things might be random, but really if anything is destiny, then maybe everything happens for a reason. If another universe was created exactly the same as this one, and everything unfolded the same way, then wouldn't we wind up meeting at Renamon's inn on a rainy night?" Wormmon chugs his melon soda. "Oh, ya, fascinating... Coming from the guy too dumb and lazy to go to all of his college classes. In a parallel universe, if everything stayed the same, you wouldn't be going to class in that universe either! Ahh haha!" "I don't expect you to get it. This kind of thing goes over your head, no offense buddy." "Hey, is that a short joke?" Dante snorts laughing while taking a drink, getting a cherry lodged up into his sinuses before clearing his throat and swallowing it. "Oh my, sorry about that."

"all right sir, if you need anything I'll be by the bar."
K would turn briskly to the two that were currently seated, their conversation of course hard not to overhear considering how close they were to her. Something about destiny and that sort of nonsense. Though she couldn't help but chuckle about them arriving at her inn; the place was well positioned in the eastern timberlands. In such a way that would make it easy for people to come across it; it wasn't out of the way by any means but.. It'd be hard to miss.
"Shouldn't be too long before your food is done."
She'd give the both of them a small smile before trotting over to the counter top. Fairly certain that her work was done for the moment, but to put on an air of still having things to do she found herself cleaning a few of the glasses behind the counter top. Her ears perked for and obviously ready if they needed anything; or if the chef's were done with their food.
Dante, a wormmon and Ban. Odd grouping of people but... I've seen stranger.
She'd start to check to see how many towels that she had under the counter; three full stacks and if she had to bet laundry would give her at least another two... If her laundry boy was actually doing laundry and not sleeping in the room again. It was frustrating with some of her workers being somewhat lazy; but she couldn't blame them on a slow day like this.

"I don't really like to think about paltry things like "Destiny", they seem to be things that bring nothing but despair or they make one careless. If given the choice, I would avoid hearing my destiny. I would much rather forge my own." He explained, hopping up to the seat, placing a towel beneath himself, lying down on it, staring down the terrifying partner for Dante, "I wonder, were you this simpleminded as a goddess? No wonder you were toppled." He joked, sitting like a dog, to keep his head above the table. Despite a smile, his eyes held almost a glare as he examined Wormmon's expressions closely, trying to detect what kind of shifts these new memories would create in the digimon's personality.

K the Renamon waited over by the bar until their food would be ready. Ban leans up trying to see over the table. He has some rather sharp digs at the former Mega leveled maniac. "Why you... I'm not somebody you wanna mess with. No way, they don't want none. Not unless you want me to open up a jug of juice! Is that it? You wanna loosen the juice?" "Please don't say it..." "If you've got something to say, Ban, then I say the Juice is Loose!" *Thunder cracks in the sky.*
"Calm down, little buddy. He only meant are you different when you change forms? I've been wondering myself. You definitely don't act any different, other than starting to behave, which I appreciate." "Ya, that's because I is, was, and always will be The Worm King, The Goddess of Destruction, the Spider Queen, the green machine..." "Talk about gender fluid. Anyways lets just enjoy a nice meal. No more explosions for tonight." "Alright. I can calm down. Just don't go poking the panda bear, Banny, or he's gonna eat cha bamboo."

K seemed to share a simular belief about destiny as ban did. Made sense; more realistic people tended to share the same beliefs. She'd keep an eye on the three of them; making sur ethat nothing was really going to start up. She didn't like it when people fought; and even friends could come to blows if the wrong things were said.
"Oh for yggdrasil sake..."
The following exchange made her chuckle however; it was more friendly banter than anything else. She'd flick her ears back when she heard Canton give a soft whistle from the other room. That was his signal that the food was done. Sighing softly she'd work her way over to the door, double checking the group before stepping through the doors to the kitchen. They had the food ready out on a platter, the sushi, the lasgana burgers and refuls of the drinks just in case. Taking the platter and skillfully balancing it on one hand she'd give Canton a nod before going back out to the inn proper. She knew the general location of wher ethey were sitting. She knew the general location of the three. However she'd rather not end up tripping over anything and spill their food. Inhaling softly she'd murmer "Displacement" and vanish from the kitchen only to re-appear next to their table a moment later.
"All right, sorry about the wait. Your Sushi with melted cheese, two lasgna burgers and refills on your drinks."
Surprise or not, she'd hand out the food to the respective people. A little unsure as to why Ban didn't order anything; but she figured it might of been because of lack of funds. She wouldn't blame him if that was the case; but she wasn't sure if the individual would want to stay the night or not with the storm that was coming around. The human and their digimon? Possibly. But she'd have to inquire afterwards....
Displacement: This digimon may do a short range teleport. Up to but not limited to fifteen feet. Cool down is a post. [0/1]

Ban had expected an outburst, and smiled, in response, "Oh, come now. We all know you recall what it was like. What kind of 'mon were you, aside from the tyrannical demon lord?" He asked, his steel eyes focusing intently on Wormmon's, looking for an answer even if he doesn't say it, "Or is that a delicate subject?" He wondered, realizing he might be intruding. The conversation was cut short as the Renamon teleported next to them. She carried herself like a warrior, but he could see she preferred to be civil, with her composure. He went silent, as he believed the partners would enjoy eating instead of speaking, as they both seemed rather tired, so he decided to wait, for now.
