All of a sudden... poof! K reappears with all their food in hand. "Whoah! Thank you." Dante happily digs in to his lasagna burger. Wormmon takes a giant bite out of his burger, before turning his attention to the sucheese. He picks up a piece with his two front legs and eats it. "Yes." He grabs two more pieces and throws them up in the air, catching them in his mouth. After they've had a moment to take a few bites, Wormmon addresses Ban's question.
"Ah, so you want to know what is was like being the Goddess of Destruction? Truth be told I have not had much time to reflect on the matter since I digivolved. But since you asked. It was awesome! The Digital World was controlled by the Goddesses! Each one vying for power. Azetramon was especially tough. But then I formed an allegiance with the Dark One, and Piedmon, the Prince of Chaos. Together, we overthrew all the other Goddesses one by one. In the end they all either died, lost their power, or went into hiding. But then that stupid creepy clown guy Piedmon turned on us, and killed me! From what I've been told, the Dark One banished Piedmon to another dimension, and went about a means to restore me."
Dante interrupts. "Alright, that's enough of a history lesson for now. I too am interested in these new memories, but we're going to be up til dawn if you try explaining all of this." "Oh, but there's so much I want to say! The waves of loyal troops slaughtering anyone standing in their way. Hunting down the once powerful Goddesses like prey, and watching the look in their eyes as I ripped that power away!" Dante just sits there with his jaw dropped. Wormmon opens another can of melon soda and takes a gulp. "But that was a long time ago. The memories of my life with Dante are much more important. Although I wouldn't mind using my power to forge a new empire." "That's if you ever get the change to digivolve to mega again. How do I know that you're not going to go berserk? You could do something stupid and reckless, like destroying K's lovely inn." Wormmon rolls his eyes at bossy Dante. "Stop being so negative all the time. It's depressing."

Ban didn't seem to really be surprised by the sudden appearance of K while Dante seemed maybe mildly taken back. It's likely the both of them had seen something simular before; though with the way that the wormmon spoke next it seemed that it was capable of a much higher digivolution than what it currently was relishing some sushi in. She'd quirk a brow at the following explanation that the wormmon provideded.
A Piedmon? Either they're a good liar or I have someone very powerful in the front of my inn. If they caused trouble I don't think canton could even stop them.
It had been a while since she felt this level of nervousness; she'd much rather not have something of that tier in the Inn actively but didn't mind if they were of a lower level. She personally really hoped that something didn't happen to force this one up to that tier if it still could manage it. At the mention of the forging a new empire however she ended up chuckling; shaking her head and tucking the platter that had once held their food under her arm.
"By the sounds of it, you were pretty powerful. But empires nowdays don't last too long with how many folks are actively running around. Might have a bit of a struggle for it; if you can manage at least."
At the mention of doing something stupid and reckless she shook her head. Her inn could survive a pretty good beating. A champion would likely have an easier time messing up her inn, taking down a few walls and even making a mess of the entire thing before they'd deal with it. Though anything really higher would absolutely wreck the place. Ultimate would be a struggle and if a mega strode in with the desire of destruction? Well she might have to start from scratch. The nervousness was pushed aside and she managed a small smile.
"I appreciate the concern Sir, But there shouldn't really be a reason to need to digivolve here. It's primarily a safe location; though I'd like to admit you're the first pair that have stepped in here to talk about their own digivolution potential at such a high level than those that have come in before. Most people tend to talk about others and happenings as you can imagine."

Hearing this simple-minded response, he sighed, before Wormmon explained that his newer memories took priority, hearing K's response, "Tyrants tend to live shorter lives," He stated, shrugging. "Regardless, I do hope you learned better, in your time with your partner." He said, nodding towards Dante, respectively, he likely wouldn't be able to tolerate long-term work with someone like Wormmon, so he has gained some respect for his human partner. "You were indeed correct to be so cautious towards digivolving your partner, things could have gotten out of hand far too quickly." he said, to Dante, before returning to Wormmon, "Now, just as a warning, I may not be anywhere near strong enough to defeat you should you lose control, but there are an overwhelming number of digimon out there who spend their lives destroying evil-doers, so evil-doing is not a reccomended course of action, regardless of your history."

The innkeeper K seems concerned with having such a powerful Digimon inside her inn. Ban continued to lecture the Worm King about the dangers of being a power hungry war monger. Eventually Wormmon gets tired of people thinking differently of him, now that he can reach Mega. "I'm fed up with being treated like a threat! We should be celebrating how far Dante and I have come in our training! Even at Champion and Ultimate I'm more powerful than ever, and I'm the one baddies like Myrgamon and Malice check for under their freaking beds!"
Clearly Wormmon isn't thrilled with being an unintentional menace. "And as for my coming out battle, I never really lost control. Only wanted to test out my magic." Wormmon takes a few bites from his lasagna burger. "I think what Wormmon is trying to say, that he's not a threat. He's never broken anything around the house, except multiple gaming consoles." K didn't have to worry. Ban was acting very high and mighty, for a rookie level. He carries himself like a Mega already.
Meanwhile, Dante has other things on his mind. It seems like lately, more and more things have been going wrong, and there's been so many adventures lately, even on his off days he ends up roped into some kind of crazy catastrophe. It wasn't long ago that they returned from the land of Rabbilot, and Wormmon reaching Mega the time they met Ban only complicated things. Add in DATS shutting down right after he joined, all that added stress distracted Dante from life's priorities. Then again, who needs college and a job if your partner is a Mega level Digimon, and your best friend owns an ice cream factory?

"If you're talking about those high and mighty angels up in Luminas Sir you might be surprised that most of them are bickering amongst themselves last I heard. That and even if evil-doing was the intent, sometimes good can come out of it in the long run. Having one half and not the other can lead to problems. Balance is important after all."
She'd shrug and idly check over the platter, making sure that the item wasn't scratched in the least bit. She had to watch her claws and these inn goers certainly warrented more than a simple service. Talking was a way of making something much more personable, as well as entertaining. What was the point of going to an Inn if it's keeper didn't interact past that?
"So you're more interested in keeping the baddies in check than being perceived as a threat? I'd imagine that many people would want someone that can reach mega and it's ilk working for or with them to do such a thing. Seeing as you have a human partner here, you could do much more than I could. Why not try to find some like minded individuals and go for something?"
She'd give the wormmon a small smile her ears flicking towards the door as distant thunder made itself known. She herself had never reached anything above this state as it stood but that didn't matter; she made things work out with whatever she could do.
"Ah. I suppose I should ask before i get too ahead of myself, do any of you plan to stay the night? Or are you perchance simply waiting out the storm? Log books and all that."

Ban simply relaxed his body, "You must be cautious, nontheless, your strength is irrevelant without control.", he said, before nodding at K, "Yes, balance, balance is the key to true strength, you must balance your ambition with your strength, your arrogance, your personality, all of these become more difficult to balance as you gain strength, as there is somewhat of a learning curve. If you lose balance, one of your traits will overwhelm the rest, inevitably leading to your doom." He casually explained, "At least... That's the best explanation I have for the surplus of feral beast digimon that exist out in the world." He shrugged, "They were either subjected to unfair circumstances or they let one of these traits get the better of them."

The gang talked about balance and self control. It was fun having an innkeeper to chat with. K asks them if they will be staying the night. "Yes, it's much to late to travel now." Fortunately Dante has plenty of bits saved up, so he's able to rent a room and pay for the meal with a nice tip included. K mentions finding like minded individuals and working together for a greater cause. "Ya, that does sound awesome! Why aren't we doing that, Dante?" "Well there was the Defectors. Then I joined DATS, but they closed down. And lately I've been so busy with adventures that I haven't really stopped to consider some kind of alliance."
Dante slurps down another fruit drink, almost finished with his saucy lasagna burger. "I know one thing's for sure. We've got a lot of super tough friends. If we can get them on board, people like Feliciano, DracNos, Eva, Hikaru, Shirou, we would be unstoppable! Heck, get your cousin Roxanne! She's a badass." Maybe it was time Dante formed his own faction. With Lilithmon, and Shirou on board, if their allies were in they could start raking in the big money. "Yes, perhaps it is time we unite together for a good cause... Justice." "Destruction!"

"You sound like a Monk Sir, reminds me of a few more pious digimon but without that air of... Absolution? You sound like you can make changes if needed."
She'd shake her head and give ban an apologetic smile. She'd raise her brows ever so slightly when she couldn't help but feel that the wormmon was being incredibly sarcastic. But being a hostess she had to abide by the fact that there would be times like that. Just a natural way of talking she presumed and she didn't really think much more about it.
"Defectors? I've never heard of them. DATS however? I didn't know that they shut down, I heard that they were struggling with membership but that was about it. It takes a while for information to get out here. Maybe you should sir, there are likely other like minded individuals that'll be willing to work with you. That and I imagine other humans often follow the same path of logical thinking. At least in my experience with them."
She'd tilt her head ever so slightly at the mention of mutiple people; eyeing the drinks and food that were being easily devoured. She'd sigh softly and shake her head; that smile still plastered on her face. If this wormmon was saying that people were super tough, she'd have to take their word for it. She didn't feel as though this one was much of a liar with how things had been stripped bare.
"Justice huh? An incredibly dangerous concept used by many people thinking their doing the right thing, is your justice something that the innocent can get behind? Or is something darker that eventually leads to oppression? Think carefully before choosing that particular word. Unfortunately Destruction and Justice go hand in hand. Because those that are just, believe in their justice so firmly that they're willing to destroy. At least in my experience with 'true justice'."

"I wish to wait out the storm, but staying here does not exactly disturb me." He shrugged, before K responded with another well-worded and level-headed response "A monk would abolish violence in general, I am unfortunately not so pure. I suppose you could address me as a Wandering warrior with my own beliefs, but I at least make an attempt to hear out others." He nodded, Satisfied with that slightly wordy explanation of himself, but he felt it was accurate. He then heard tell of Dante considering forming a group, "Well, you may not exactly need a leader, you might need a figurehead, a strong figure for your supporters to stand behind, in my experience, if a group has a prominent, intimidating head, most feel either more secure or more anxious about respectively working with, and combating this group." He explained. He was again impressed by K's logical thinking and heavy use of logic, when it comes to Justice and the like. "I believe that is perfectly correct, as any group who follows "Justice" is only following their description of "Justice", as justice is little more than one's opinion, it's likely the reason Luminas city is in such disarray, no one is able to decide on one description of justice, or evil, but I suppose I cannot say, as I have not actually visited that land, just yet.

Wormmon gobbles up his sushi, and lays down on the table. "Dang, I can't remember the last time anything tasted that good." "Yes, it was a delightful meal." The gang continues talking about justice, and the dangers of turning to violence for your cause. "I would have to agree, you don't cross the line. True justice. You know, Wormmon and I had an experience like that not too long ago. The knight commander Arcanamon went so far to uphold justice that she almost killed our friend..."
It was hard not to think about what happened. Both the knights and the mages felt that their actions were justified. And in the end, even though they stopped the high sorceress Myrgamon, Wizardmon, Dante's enemy, turned ally, friend, and teacher, was lost forever. Dante thinks back to all the battles they have gotten into since he became a tamer, and the frightening foes they faced. Most of them fought to fuel their own desires, some fought for revenge, but most either felt justified, or didn't care if they were doing bad things. "I don't think anybody is without fault. We've all messed up before, and have been selfish. But if you fight for your family and friends, and do what is right, there is justice in that."
Wormmon rolls over on his belly, and lets out a long sigh. "Ooooooh now I need a nap. And then some video game time." "I guess we should rent a room shortly. I don't think there's going to be any video games tonight, little buddy." "Oh, but Dante! If I don't play video games all night, then, then... I'm going to start going crazy. Ya, that's right. I'll get all freaky and digivolve to Lilithmon, and reign hellfire down upon the peasants! Whuh hu hu ha ha ha ha haaaaa!" Dante take a sip from his glass. "Ya I'm not buying it. You just want to play video games." "No, really! I'll like, ugh, turn Ban into a frog! And stack all the tables and chairs into a cool fort."
Despite Wormmon's boastful claims, he's usually not lying. He must really believe his own hype. However, here he was lying. Dante is also feeling full and tired. He's surprised Ban did not want to order anything. The food and service here has been quite good. Apparently he is a wandering warrior. Where is he from? Does he harbor his own internal conflicts? Rest assured a Rookie wouldn't be much of a threat if they did try to cause trouble, but that kind of behavior didn't seem to be Elecmon's style. "Alright, Dante. I'm going to need you to carry me to the room now. I've been feeling kinda nasty ever since we had those chili dogs earlier." "You have been working hard lately. When we get home, I'll let you play games for the whole night." "But I want NEW video games, Dante! They're NEWWWWWW! Not like those lame old video games you've got." "Super Donkey Fighter Ultimate Edition isn't lame!"

"All considering we do have rooms a plenty Sir."
A brief smile and the renamon shifted her weight from one leg to the other. Figuring that an explanation was following suit. She was well rewarded with the guess and nodded slowly as ban explained out what he believed himself to be.
"Well if that's the case Sir, that's something many would respect. Though I imagine in wilder parts you wouldn't have as much luck."
She'd shrug slightly and eye the other two as ban went on about needing a figurehead. He was fairly correct on that point, but having a definitive leader most certainly helped. She never believed in an intimidating leader; the angel army she had served with saw to that.
"Figures politics would eat at them. Or maybe something else is amiss, wouldn't know myself either."
The wormmon seemed to be rather content with the meal, the human agreeing at the quality of it. She'd nod; knowing that canton for a fact would be pretty happy about the compliment even if he wasn't here in the room.
"At some point it stops being justice, then it's simply oppression in the mask of it. Your friend unfortunately seems to be a prime example of where 'justice' was uneeded?"
K of course would keep that smile on as the human spoke. They were right that no one was without fault; that there were those that have been selfish and have messed up. Their ideals of justice was primarily for those around them immediately it seemed. She couldn't argue with that; a small circle was often the best after all!
"While we don't have video games we do have tv's in most rooms. If you're wishing to rent a room we've got several different kinds. Ranging from our standard room, to middle tier room to the sole suite on the third floor. Standard room fare is a hundred bits comes with all your basic necessities, middle tier is two hundred bits and allows for ordering from the kitchen. The executive suite is one thousand bits and has just about everything you could ask for."
She'd pause after a moment and shake her head at the wormmon's antics. Finding them rather amusing for the immediate moment. She figured they'd likely settle on the mid tier room at best. Most did and she couldn't really blame them! After all the beds in each room were practically the same! Up until the suite at least...

Video games? That was new, he hasn't heard of such things, "Video games, that sounds fascinating... Perhaps you could teach me some time?" He asked, trying to catch Wormmon's attention through his tired rambling, "Just from the name it sounds fascinating... are there perhaps strategy-based games? Like chess?" He asked, showing a minor vulnerability such as lacking knowledge on this video game was indeed a good chance to get to know the inner workings of this pair, what exactly keeps the two running, just from watching them interact some more. Either way, he shrugged, still lost as to what donkey fighting had to do with games, it seemed humans have many interesting customs he was unfamiliar with, and he was indeed eager to learn, he turned to K, "While I'm sure a room would be lovely, I'm afraid relaxing would slow down my goal of sharpening my body and my spirit to the steel of my prime, and I am somewhat paranoid that taking a relaxing sleep could be disastrous for the training I have set for myself," He apologized, bowing his head, momentarily, "I will simply see if I can wait out this storm, if I can't then I shall take a room, I promise."

"Yes I suppose we will be renting out a middle tier room. No need to go all out if we will only be staying the night." Even the middle tier was more than enough. They wouldn't be ordering more food after a feast to remember. Apparently Ban has never heard of video games. This stuns Dante. "It's either going to take 5 minutes, or 5 years. There's literally thousands of video games. Some alright, but some are fantastic. I recently started playing Medieval Businessman II again. Buying up everyone's properties, and cranking up the rent! Same with businesses, make the prices sky high. Chess is also fun." Boy, it's a great thing K is running the inn instead of secretly corrupt Dante!
It appears Ban will be waiting out in the forayer to see if the storm subsides. Dante kind of wants to get the room checked out and get ready to settle in for the night, but he doesn't wanna stop hanging out just yet. "I'll rent a room now and check it out, then come back and talk some more." "As if you ever stop talking." "Well, that was rude." "I'm sorry, did I offend you? Did the big bag Worm King give your feelings a boo boo? Well that's too damn bad! No, they don't want none! I'm too hardcore for PG-13!" "Maybe it is time to go to bed..." "Aww, dang it! I don't have the laugh track button with me." Dante is ready to pay for the meal and rent out a room.

"No Fret sir, my Inn is open to those who need it wether or not they intend to stay for the night or leave once a bad storm hits. Couldn't tell you how many people traveling through here use it just for a meal before moving on."
K would chuckle a bit, the Elecmon didn't really have to apologize. She was here to provide a service for the most part wether or not they needed it. She'd raise her eyebrows just a little bit when Dante answered what kind of room they would take. She'd give them a small nod; it made sense but as it was she was supposed to tell them this sort of thing. If she pushed it too much it'd of course leave a bad taste in people's mouthes.
"It can be a good way to pass time I've been told, haven't really had much in the way of time to take a gander of them myself."
K ran a pretty decent business but as far as video games were concerned there was very little point for her to play them or even to have them in her rooms. Youth didn't ussually travel this far without some mode of entertainment or at all. It was too dangerous for them to wander most of the time and what would her more constant customers say about any potentional noise?
"Of course sir."
The renamon would turn briskly on her heel, going over to the counter and putting the platter down. She'd reach over said counter and pick up what looked to be some kind of pad, tapping on it twice before coming back over to the table. She'd tap the pad a few times, adding what looked like to be the meal and room together before tutting softly.
"Two drinks: Twenty bits, Sushi with cheese and two lasagna burgers: One hundred and fifty bits, a middle tier room: two hundred bits. Towels of course are complimentary as were the refills. Your total is 370 bits sir. We've got a working laundry machine pair, so if you desire we can wash your clothing and have it folded outside your door for when you wake."
She'd hold the pad flat before popping out the image of the numbers before swiping her hand across the pad. The numbers floating next to the names in question. It was an older model that she honestly often forgot about; but it usually made customers a little happier to see something like this when she did recall the item.
"if you have any questions about the room or the Inn, please feel free to ask them."

Inside, he frowned a little, as the two got distracted by other ideas, but that was such a minor loss he really didn't mind. After all, what would he have learned? Regardless, he was astounded by the idea of thousands of games with their own rules and parameters for completion. The two kept speaking of what he could only be the rules and references to more of these video games. It seems their conversation was over, and that was fine. He instead turned towards K, "Well, good food in a calm place is a wonderful way to sooth one's mind, especially in a storm." He remarked, calmly, before glancing back up at her, shifting the little twig in his mouth, "I do have some questions, actually, how long has this inn stood, and, how long have you worked here?" He asked, staring up at her, trying to read her eyes. He had only just realized that he had made no attempt to tell what kind of person this renamon was, so now he felt curious.
