"Yeah they definitely picked the wrong train... I suppose you're right on the trainer bit. Suppose it depends on them, though I think we did well enough.. minus the.."
K would look down at herself and frown, finding that there were many a wound that she didn't really know how to deal with and many a situation that she would rather be in. But at the same time it was refreshing to know that she was alive and would stay that way.
She'd let out a long sigh and lean back, she wanted to sleep so badly right now. She couldn't really think of anything she could do past healing herself and dealing with the wounds of the other the best she could. She'd grit her teeth and place her hand on her rather badly wounded arm, feeling the aura seeping into it. Then there was a lance of pain almost so bad it almost made her pass out where she was sitting. She'd let out a ragged exhalation and nod slowly.
"All right.. I just hope the next digimon we run into is friendly.. or at least carrying medical supplies."
She'd snort and shake her head; her body screaming in pain. She could feel her arm more acutely and it was so overwhelming to a point she was going to struggle to move in the morning... if she made it through he night at least.

She could tell that K was getting tired. In truth, Eva was still wired as hell. The adrenaline was one thing, that was natural, normal, but in the cyborg's case that wasn't the only factor. Combat stims from the recent tangle with whatever kind of forces those were, were still very much active and flowing through her system, not to mention the amount of painkillers her systems automatically injected in order to "keep her in the fight". She idly tweaked the mechanism that deployed the arm mounted pulse laser, the system opening and closing with a solid, precision engineered certainty. She closed the system up again, her arm closing back to its normal state, the digimon seemingly satisfied with the way it was functioning as she opened and closed her fist to also test if that still remained functional.
"If you need to get some rest, I'd recommend you go get some. I'll keep watch to see if we get any new company, good or bad. No way in hell I'm going to be able to get any right now."
SIX HOURS LATER
Dawn's light started to break through the trees, filtering down upon the forest floor in little amber patterns as the sun began to rise above the horizon. Eva was perched up upon a rock overlooking the camp, her enhanced vision cutting through the still relative darkness as though it wasn't even a factor, until she picked up something in the distance. A rumbling, getting closer. She squinted off into the distance, trying to get a clear line of sight down the tracks... Another trailmon!
Eva dashed off as quickly as she could without injuring herself further to wake up K, poking her in the shoulder, being careful not to touch anything that might still be sore from their previous ordeal. "Trailmon incoming. It's probably our best bet."
Without even waiting for K to get up, she walked up next to the tracks and started to signal the train, waving her arms in the air in an attempt to get noticed. her plan worked, as the freight train screeched to a halt, airbrakes hissing.
"What!? What's the holdu-!? Wow... you're a mess."
"Tell me something I don't know. A friend of mine and I were trying to get to Terminus city when the train we were on was attacked. There are likely more of them further down the line. They were too well equipped and organised to be a single squad."

K ran her hand over her muzzle again, letting out a shaky sigh. She'd blink a little bit however when the other renamon spoke. Saying that if she needed to rest that she should; they were both blasted to hell and back. But eva was likely made of sterner stuff than K was. Ontop of which it seemed that the other was all right with keeping watch.
"All right. Wake me if you need anything..."
She frowned slightly and then slowly eased herself to where she was laying down, she could feel the horrid sensations of her body for maybe a few minutes before the bliss of sleep claimed her.
She didn't really recognize the passing of time, however when the other renamon touched her she jolted away. Her body screaming in a mix of protest of being awake... along with the pain that she was now brought back to. She could feel her arm more now, and she had to admit if it was not for the rest along with the healing bits she would of likely had to get rid of the limb. She'd rub her head softly; slowly trying to stand up. Finding that her legs were having a rough time of it but she still was able to stand... but her walk was practically a shuffle.
"Yeah... I don't want to think about what today would b elike if something didn't come."
She was a little slower than the other digimon, but she managed to keep up somehow. She'd press her hand to her cheek and shudder trying to stay focused. It was starting to get harder to stay upright honestly. But she'd have to until they got to the hospital.
"We barely got through one group of them and we need to get to terminus."

To say Eva looked exhausted right now was an understatement. Sure, a lot of her was indeed mechanical but that didn't mean jack after taking such a severe hammering and being up on full alert for so long. She looked over to K, dark rings around her eyes from sheer tiredness, nodding in agreement with her assessment that today's trek would have not been an easy one before looking back to the trailmon.
"Getting back there by ourselves isn't exactly going to be easy, and the... whatever the hell they were, were able to destroy another trailmon in fairly quick order. They were likely after trailmon ferrying cargo like yourself too. We were just targets of opportunity."
"Do you have any evidence for this? People are waiting on these supplies, and time is money."
Eva blinked a couple of times. Tiredness meant crankiness. The lack of coffee also was a serious contributor to her almost drill sergeant tier outburst.
"What... This isn't f*cking makeup! My friend here will be bloody more than happy to confirm what the hell I'm saying as well! You continue down that line, and it's almost a god damn certainty that people will be waiting a whole lot longer, while those w*nkers will get all sorts of new sh*t that you were meant to bring to people on the other end to diddle around with!"
An awkward silence fell upon the scene, Eva still staring this trailmon down, synthetic eyes locked on to the talking train in a death glare. This was normal apparently. This was a relatively normal situation in the digital world to be having conversations with trains.
"Fine. I don't have any passenger cars but there should be enough space up there for you two to hold on. You better not be trying to pull a fast one on me here."
"Yes yes, I'm sure. Train lawyers running lawsuits, right?"
"Right."
"Seriously? Strange world we live in."
With that, she climbed aboard one of the box cars. It was full of crates, but, there was more than enough room for two people to sit down.

K could tell that eva looked as exhausted as she currently felt, or even worse considering that the other renamon hadn't gotten any rest. She'd rub her neck a bit and then slowly blink as eva continued to talk to the trailmon. The latter of which even went as far as doubting the fact that the two fo them were beat up. K almost felt herself snap at the trailmon, anger rising in her eyes but the other beat her to the punch.
She clenched her fists and let out a soft irritated growl. What was there really to doubt? The both of them looked like they had been through a hellish fight as it was. As well as going out of their way to warn this trailmon of the danger... Then there was the following awkward silence that was only made worse by the fact they were likely breathing heavily. Or was that just K?
Then through some bloody miracle the Trailmon agreed to take them there so they could report back to someone. Though the later part was something which would take a little time. She honestly hoped that no one else got attacked.
"You'll be thanking us later for not going through here, at least not without a guard of some kind."
K would watch eva climb aboard one of the box cars. She doubted herself that she could do the same but she managed to pull herself in and would collaspe across from where Eva had decided to sit. She looked at her wounded arm and winced.
"Ugh... I thought I'd at least get a little feeling back. Hope this trailmon is faster than their Compadre."
