Cion suddenly stopped, though there was no sense of abruptness in her motion. As almost always, she carried herself with firm grace, quietly listening to what one of Alicia's spirits had to say as it got itself between her and the group of villains. Of course she fathomed that the fiendish man did not bluff, but neither was it of much concern to her. He too was a cornered animal at this point in time, and less able to hide that fact than the vulpine cyborg. Desperation was fueling his every word, and to not exploit that was a big mistake taken too often.
Yet the ascended CyberSagitamon did not wish to engage Alicia and the entities she could summon, for that would assure their enemies' triumph. If it was not for her attained strength, the ancient warden would not have minded to be temporarily destroyed if it meant taking the man's life forever. But there were other humans among them, who did not share his dark heart. As far as she had seen, they were good people with noble intentions. After all, they did not succumb to fear against those affected by Xros, no matter the difference in power.
Out of respect and understanding she backed off, indifferent towards any mentioning of titans or assured mutual destruction. There were many lines that had become increasingly simple to cross ever since she had found herself alone in this digital world, but risking the lives of others... no, that was not her. Uncountable years had been devoted to protecting those who sought nothing but peace and prosperity, and that was not an attribute that had belonged to... him. It was Pyrrhic victory at best, but maybe that was the only thing they needed today. It gave her a sufficient to contemplate and adapt.
Gazing at Denryu, Cion did not care for the surge of energy he was capable of releasing. Revealing trepidation would have been a grave error. Her confident stance was enough for him and his minions to retreat through a temporary portal, but not with the human of course voicing his petty little insults. "My dear... your cute titan is..." She uttered, stopping immediately as the dimensional gate vanished from sight. Harrumphing with amusement, she took in a deep breath as a smile formed itself on her muzzle hidden by her helmet. She would have explained how their threat was paltry compared to her previous endeavors, but as to be expected the sentient ape was too full of himself to care.
Sighing, the futuristic huntress tilted her head to look at everyone until she shook herself through and laid her golden eyes upon the sacred tree. "I can't wait for the next time he'll maraud something or someone." She more or less thought out loud, her voice carrying something ironic and pained to it, although it was obviously repressed. Weltschmerz and incapability were difficult pills to swallow, even for someone who knew how to act with sophistication. Looking around the ravaged landscape... not clenching her fist was a deed of great restraint.
"Does anybody require immediate healing?" Cion asked, hoping to at least alleviate the pain of those who had suffered today. If she had already failed at delivering them justice and peace of mind, perhaps removing physical pangs was an enow second.
