Job: Bounty of the Seas

After her long night as a bouncer, Cion had found a fine hostel that was both inexpensive and suited all of her needs. Sleeping until forenoon, the CyberSagitamon savored a lot of what the hotel's buffet offered. Brown bread with a variety of spreads, exotic fruits and vegetables, and of course a small, nonalcoholic cocktail. Taking her time inside the hotel to properly have breakfast, she often looked outside the big windows and towards the beach. A beautiful sight without a doubt, especially the glittering of the clear water. Her opinion that this city was a perfect place for a new life strengthened with every passing second, and she was confident the others would like it as well.
However, she knew that appearances were deceptive. Though it did not seem like that, the water was actually rather filthy, and often needed digimons to clean it so it could still be utilized. Why so many people thought it was acceptable to throw their trash into the water was beyond her, as was the city's apparent lack of a wastewater treatment plant and refuse recycling plant, but city logistics were not her business. The only thing she would do would be helping cleaning parts of the beach, and of course be payed splendidly for her work.
Speaking of which, it was time to make her leave, since the clock already struck twelve o'clock. Leaving the hostel and walking through the bustling streets of Whitewater, she beheld the many colorful buildings that dotted every color. Restaurants, shops, clubs; they were practically everywhere, and always busy dealing with customers. It seemed both wealth and happiness was fairly shared among everyone, something Cion was delighted of. Everyone had not only what they needed to survive, but enough to be content. It was something one could not say the same about Terminus.
Eventually reaching one of the beaches' docks, she allowed herself a moment to behold the blue beauty of both the sky and the ocean. It was unlike many views she had been able to enjoy throughout her current, short life, and it was far better than Terminus' eternal wall. And even without barracks everywhere, it seemed that the city was doing fine for itself, if not better. Border controls and a police station every now and then with well-trained, responsible sentinels was more than enough to assure safety, order and prosperity.
But enough with the daydreaming, there was a job she needed to complete. This time, there was no contact person she was supposed to meet. Instead, all she had to do was getting proper diving equipment from a designated ship and get going. Once she had filled an entire container on it with waste, she could simply call for local services and reap the pay. Simple, clean, efficient; that was the way she liked it. Stepping on top of the small freighter, all she needed was a respirator. Taking one and putting it in her mouth, she did not hesitate and leapt over the railing, diving deep into the water.
With her gracile body quickly adapting to the fresh, wet environment, she eventually opened her eyes and beheld the tainted beauty beneath the water's surface. There was a colorful mix of aquatic flora covering everything like a reef, and despite all the garbage littering the ground it still looked healthy. Unlike many places in the human world, the beach was not yet beyond saving, and she would contribute to it remaining healthy, even if it was mostly for good pay. Rubbing her hands and clearing her throat, she felt it was time to go to work.
Just like last night with the inebriated Deputymon, she utilized very weak versions of her 'Translucent Vortex'-ability to vacuum the reef and the ocean floor. The swirls she conjured were strong enough to remove any loose objects, and sometimes a few ocean creatures, and pile them up in one location. She worked slowly, taking as many hours as she needed to assure that she caused no harm and destruction, and to savor her sensation of being engulfed in water as well as the fruits of her labor. Eventually, with a pile the size of a Graymon at hand, she noticed that the water had assumed an orange tint.
Deciding that it was enough, she used a more powerful version of her 'Translucent Vortex'-ability to drag the file to the surface. Coming out of the water, she utilized a small set of stairs to enter the dock again, solely utilizing her willpower to sustain the vortex that rose out of the water. It was a disgusting sphere of filth, garbage and other unimaginable feculences, and it was clearly nothing she liked looking at nor thinking about. Thankfully, the vortex assured nothing would befoul any of the ships.
Returning to the freighter, dragging the humongous pile of dirt behind her, Cion motioned her hand towards one of its containers. With a flick, everything dropped inside in a loud cacophony, filling the container to the brim. What many could only manage over several days, she had been able to accomplish in a couple of hours thanks to her rather unique set of powers. Still, it left her jaded and with a headache, as the energy and concentration she had utilized throughout the day had been more than enough to knock out even the most tenacious of digimons.
Removing her respirator, she sat down on a wooden bench on the ship and let out a content sigh. Her gaze shifting to the wonderful, setting sun, she could feel the warmth of the fading day dry the pelt of her face and neck. "I need one heck of a dinner..." She thought out loud, feeling her body craving nourishment.
Obliging with those desires and looking forward to what the hostel would offer, she took her phone out of her waterproof pockets and took a couple of photos of her successful work. Sending a message with them to the bureau of the local services department, she returned to the hostel, eagerly awaiting both the confirmation of her full payment and the buffet she would visit immediately.
