"You have a good point."
There was much more she could say on that first line, to admit fault was to admit that you were still living. The jesmon seemed to know that his justice wasn't absolute. It was somewhat refreshing.
"I see. Thank you."
She'd give him a small smile and stretch, glancing back at the way she came with a soft sigh. What was she to do? Who was she to pick? It was of two creatures of vastly superior strength. One with the will and drive to push forward to trying to do.. Well. To right some wrongs, while the other seemed to want to just live and exist once more.
There was a soft pause when the Jesmon answered her questions; the ones that no doubt would make any digimon in their right mind pause. She could see that he was of a sound mind; so of course his response was quick.
"It would be possible I believe, you two are beyond anything I've ever seen in the digital world. Your strength and your persistence paramount. You survived within another digital being for more time than I care to admit."
She'd glance around looking a little worried. She'd turn her attention back to the bridge.
"....It was a pleasure meeting you Jesmon."
She'd give them a small smile and turn back to the bridge. Pausing before she would actually step onto it.
"Regardless of what happens, I am glad I met the both of you. If you see GraceNovamon again, tell her..."
The renamon let out a soft chuckle.
"She lost."
With that the renamon would step onto the bridge in earnest, not looking back or down on the way over the bridge.

"Unfortunately, whether or not it is possible is beyond my control. Its comforting to see that you are one of such strong faith, however." For the first time, the rookie gave a chuckle to the fox.
Indeed, it appeared that her time had not been wasted. "A pleasure meeting you as well, K. And do not fret: between myself and Examon, we will abide by your decision. We'll consider it an end to our internal quarrel inside here. And I'll be sure to relay that message."
With that, the fog would roll in once again, the Hackmon disappearing from sight. Fortunately enough, K was already making her way back over the bridge: the winds had just started to kick up behind her, as if the GraceNovamon would have appeared mere moments later.
Fortunately, that would not impede her from making her way back along the trail. For as long as she was gone, the Reppamon waited for her return: several yards from the edge of the cliff, he sat on all fours. Curled up against his side was a Viximon, peacefully napping the time away.
"Mm? Ah, welcome back, K." Seeing her finally pass through the fog and step off the bridge, the Reppamon's mask turned to face K. Carefully, he edged away from the small fox, and drew himself back onto his feet. "Your mind seems much less clouded than when you left. A certain tensity has left the air... look." Gesturing over his shoulder, the Renamon would see that the path had grown far less hilly and winding: a simple, straight path led right towards the center of this place.
"Should I take it you've made up your mind? Or perhaps you just have everything you need to make the right choice?"

"It'll be figured out one way or the other. It's hard not to when dealing with such forces..."
K would tilt her head just a bit as the Jesmon returned the comment that it was a pleasure meeting her as well. She had a feeling that which ever one that she chose likely would absorb the other a bit easier than the GraceNovamon.
"Of course. I.. have a little bit of worry to say the least. But I feel like I might be doing so for naught."
She'd chuckle and continue forward; flinching just a bit as she bet that the GraceNovamon would of loved to have a few words with her...
Once she arrived on the other side of the bridge; she was pleased to see the Reppamon still there. Though what was curled up against him of course made her brows raise.
"It's good to be back on Soil that feels right."
She'd gingerly run her hands along the topsoil of dirt that led to the bridge grinning at the Reppamon.
"I had some short discussions with Both Examon and Jesmon. Once they both had given me a little bit of information of what they wanted to do along with whom they were... Well. It was easy to see that GraceNovamon was not the proper choice.
She'd turn her head to look at the bridge and sigh.
"It raises the question of Jesmon or Examon. Both have the strength of what some would consider outright in the realm of the Sovereigns themselves. But both of them are vastly different people, with vastly different ways of doing things."
K would sigh again and run her hands through her fur.
"Jesmon is a knight through and through, his power and nobility easy to see. His crest would be welcome wherever he went. His power equally as much. People would flock to his banner willingly; he'd make a great leader in dark times."
She looked a bit cross and would clasp her hands.
"Examon is also a Knight, absolute massive in stature and in power. Their desire to live again as well as to get victory is something I can understand in absolution. While no where near Charismatic or Leader bound as Jesmon is... They have their own strange power over people. They would be a great power to see in the digital world again."
She shook her head with a sullen air.
"Both of them would make massive impacts on the people of the digital world, and I have.. Well. I have come to a decision that both of them are so much more than what I could expect. It's no simple matter of deciding which. But..."
There was a small pause and she'd gesture towards the path.
"Examon was correct when their power was enough to keep me in higher forms, things some digimon have problems doing. As jesmon was correct about how his blessing affected my Blades. I have no doubt in my mind when thinking that they both would make wonderful choices. Which is exactly the problem still."
She'd rub her temples.
"I want both of them, but may only choose one. I am no leader of the people, nor am I someone who can say for certain Victory would always be in my grasp. I see myself failing no matter which route I take; but I see myself Succeeding more."
She'd hold up her hands, one clenched in a fist and the other as though it was holding something simply with it's palm. The fingers outstretched.
"I have to choose. Others? Or Myself? It's not about forms anymore. It's about being selfish or Selfless."

"Hm? Oh, don't mind her." Taking a brief glance down at the Viximon, the Reppamon gave a chuckle. "She's a playful one. Ordinarily, I have to be on my guard in others' minds, but yours has quite a calm tone."
And with that, once more, Guru would listen. Realizing that this was going to take a while, the Reppamon settled in and sat down, the bladed tail flicking out to the side. K had decided to rule out one option right away, leaving her to choose between Jesmon and Examon...
... But, as K realized, they were polar opposites. 'Selfish' and 'Selfless' was a decent way to put it: Jesmon was a Royal Knight for the people, whereas Examon were knights who received their rank through power. Both had their followers, though Jesmon's were definitely more apt for helping the Digital World, whereas worshipers of Examon found comfort in both the dragon and themselves. The Renamon considered this, as well as the 'gifts' that had been granted to her from both of them.
The Renamon was resolved, but she still had a choice to make. And with a smile, Guru gave a nod. "Its quite intimidating, isn't it? The personality of the Knights, I mean." The Reppamon let those words stand for a moment, before pressing into detail: "Not just those two, but all of them hold a burden far beyond what a normal Digimon would be expected to handle, and a strong, dedicated mind to match their burden. And though Jesmon and Examon quarrel and disagree with each-other to the point where they'd hold arms, each still holds equal status as a Royal Knight."
Guru let that thought hold in the air, once more nodding to the fox. "Let us go back. As strange as it sounds, 'inside your own mind' is not the best place to think this through." Rather than lead her back through the entrance, the weasel once more held up a paw, glowing in a similar matter to how they entered.

"I imagine that's what I was like when I was younger. Or.. well what I would of been like as a child."
She'd chuckle softly and give a small smile to the reppamon.
"I've had much time to sort through myself, there's not alot over the millennia that I lived that was so drastic as things are now. So I suppose it makes sense that the deeper you go the more peaceful it'd be."
She'd rub her neck and run her hands along her fur letting out a small sigh as he posed that question.
"They're unlike any mon I've ever met."
K would admit quite plainly, staring down at the the Reppamon. She'd flick her ears forward when he spoke of a burden. What burden was he meaning? She knew very little of their struggles and such which made it more difficult to make a choice.
"I see. And I can imagine yeah... Too much time spent and eventually lost or something like that correct?"
She'd note the paw that he held up, the Renamon gingerly reaching forward to take it....

"Oh, nothing like that, it just gets distracting. The mind is not a passive thing." Giving a chuckle, the Reppamon's offered paw was soon taken by K.
And once more, K would feel herself floating in that white expanse, her eyes soon opening back in the chapel. Of course, they hadn't moved an inch since they had started. For a few moments, the glow would persist in the Reppamon's paw, the Renamon not quite able to move until it had fully died away. Once it had, the weasel carefully pulled his hand back, slowly dragging himself back up onto all fours.
"Ah... always feel a touch stiff after all that." The Reppamon stretched out his legs, quickly getting used to feeling his own chapel beneath his feet. Other than that, though, the masked priest would simply nod to K. "You are free to stay as long as you like. The chapel here is a nice, quiet place to think." His eyes briefly lingered on Jesmon's sigil, the weasel giving a nod. Other than that, he moved to stow those mats away.
He still had a chapel to run, after all.

"Ah. Fair enough..."
She'd give a sheepish smile; surprised to return to that white expanse. She'd blink a few times; seeming surprised that they hadn't been touched in the time that they were here. Once the paw stopped glowing she'd groan a bit; cracking her neck as the stiffness set in. Just how long had they been here for? She'd ease herself so that she was standing, trying to work out how her joints felt.
"Nnn.. never really get used to it do you?"
K would ask rubbing her muzzle thoughtfully. She'd exhale slowly; trying to get used to being in the real world again. It felt strange diving so deep into her mind. She'd look down at her hands after a few moments, noting the gaze on the sigil.
"Thank you Guru. Without your help I doubt I'd of come this far."
She set her jaw and rubbed her temples slowly. Filtering all the information she had learned of the two from the discussion through her head. They were both powerful, both were beyond anything she could comprehend. Both were willing to be one with her so to speak.
They both didn't want the GraceNovamon to win.
She shared that Sentiment ever since the whole Anomaly bit but she couldn't do anything about it without more information of the other two. She'd turn to look at Guru, giving him a soft smile before bowing her head.
"....I've come to a Decision."

As K slowly stood, she'd start to get an idea for how long the two had been in a trance: the well-lit windows that had once filled the chapel with light were now dark, only the light that managed to peer in from a streetlamp outside managing to enter through the mirror of Baihumon.
Honestly, that would be of little surprise: the Renamon did have to cross that long suspension bridge twice! As she asked about the trance, Guru nodded. "Every mind is different, and so is the adjustment. Some entries and exits are rougher than others... yours was quite average." With one last stretch to his back, Guru's ear twitched as she expressed her thanks. "You are quite welcome, dear Renamon. All who want help in these halls merely need to ask."
Past that, the Reppamon would set about his normal chores: once the mats were stowed away, the weasel would light a central lantern to better light the room. K would have all the time she would need to think, and of course, she wouldn't need to come to a decision quite yet.
That she did, about an hour later, came as somewhat of a surprise. The Reppamon, who had been checking something in the back, turned to face K as she made her announcement. "Oh? Now you have me curious." He gave a chuckle, but it was ultimately up to K if she wanted to share her answer or not!

She was surprised to see so much time pass; her ears flicked back and she gazed around. Her hand coming up to rest underneath the sigil that was still hovering over her arm.
"Not a surprise I suppose, with how quiet my mind was from what you made it seem at least."
She'd shrug a little bit, running her hands down her sides and popping her back in such a way that she would grunt. She would have to remember this place if she ever needed advice in the future.
During the time she was thinking of course, she sat quietly. Half lidded eyes; she almost looked asleep. It wouldn't be hard to figure that she wasn't. The Reppamon had other things to do while she was there.
She'd clench her fists, closing her eyes and exhaling softly. There was palatable tension in the air; she doubted that two of the three inside of her would be too terribly pleased with this choice. Both of which she reckoned would of deigned to want to crush her.
Her eyes flashed and she'd get a small grin gazing at the Reppamon.
"I told him I wasn't a leader; but that didn't seem to worry him. I know one of them wanted to touch the sky; feel the wind on their scales again but... I realized my last question was silly, I never really had a choice in the matter."
She clenched her hands into fists again the grin deepening.
"The primary core will be Jesmon. Examon will feel the wind on their scales most certainly, but as I am... I am for the people. I shouldn't of posed such a question before; seeing as I already knew the answer."
There was a brief pause and she'd snort.
"I won't be a knight. I'll be something else instead. Something..."
Her eyes turned back towards the door and she'd exhale softly.
"Grand."

It seemed that the decision K made wasn't too difficult after all: even from her first sentence, it was clear to the priest that the Renamon had selected the Knight of Justice, Jesmon. Still, she at least felt sympathy for the dragon - a trait that definitely fit a knight of such high rank - and hearing of her plan, Guru returned her grin with a smile.
"Perhaps I wasn't wrong to call you Jesmon's blessed after all. I wish you luck in your ordeal, K." There was still a caveat to all of this, of course: "But to obtain a strong enough core, of any attribute? That is definitely a trial that will be difficult to overcome." Would K go as far as to fight a strong-enough Digimon on her own to try and claim a core? Or perhaps the Doctor had another plan in mind entirely.
"For now, look straight ahead. Getting too many thoughts about the end of the trail will distract you from the task at hand."

"I suppose not huh? Thank you Guru."
She'd give the Reppamon a small smile before rubbing her muzzle; her brow furrowing slightly as he said what next lay in her mind without likely meaning. The core was going to be a problem; no matter what she did. Perhaps maybe she could find something older that wasn't willing to fight.. or perhaps do it of her own accord?
"A long path, it'll take some time to figure out how to approach that particular.. Trial as you call it."
She'd scratch her head and then glance back at the Reppamon; a somewhat exasperated look creeping onto her face.
"That isn't the end of the road I'm thinking of Guru, it's somewhere in the middle and I think that's going to be the interesting part..."
She'd give them a small bow and head out; pretty sure that she needed to head back to the real.. To sort out a few things. Or perhaps back to the mikemon to tell him what had transpired? There were other options too...
