"See? Even she agrees with me!" Shoutmon tells Adrian, as if he didn't understand the first time.
"Okay, okay, I get it!" Adrian groans. Sometimes, Shoutmon can REALLY start to annoy him...
Haru then held up the Digivice for Adrian to see. He took it from her hands so he and Shoutmon could get a better look. "Attribute... unknown? That's a little bizarre... Shoutmon told me about the different attributes, and he always told me he was a data attribute Digimon.
"Yeah... well, I kinda lied about that..." Shoutmon admitted. "I don't really know my attribute type."
Adrian gave him a "really?" look for a few seconds before turning back to the digivice. "Holy crap... your entire Digivolution line is on here! ...SuperShoutmon?" Just from that name alone, Adrian imagined Shoutmon's head on Superman's body. Just the mere thought of that caused him to giggle a bit.
"What's so funny...?" Shoutmon asked, not really getting it.
"It's nothing, it's nothing... I'll draw it for you later."

"Humans are weird, I must admit. I can't blame you for not wanting to be like them."
Katsura had a rather high level of sincerely in her voice as she addressed Shoutmon, taking her comments into context it could bring some unsettling implications then again it was probably nothing. While Adrian was busy with Haru's scanner, Katsura went back into her own little world trying to picture a SuperShoutmon! Eventually after a moment of thinking.
"Do digimon usually wear capes?"
Welp it was probably meaningful anyway, eventually Haru got around to show Katsura and Nyao what the scanner said about Nyao the blackgatomon. A lot of things surprised Haru there.
Devotion?
Katsura grabbed her shoulder and at the same time, Nyao looked away. While they didn't look surprised at all about that news neither of them looked very comfortable about explaining it.
"Don't worry too much about that."
That of course was easy for Katsura to say when "Devotion" for some reason was written in red as if it was a warning. Nyao shrugged at the comment that she and Tawna shared in-training level.
"Well there's a lot of factors that decides digivolution lines nobody understands them all."

"Well... It's not all his Digivolution line, just his In-Training and Champion form listed too. The scanner's still kind of a work-in-progress, ya know? It can show what Digivolve Digivolve to and from a single Digivolution stage. Like for instance, Tawna's current form is Meicrackmon Vicious Mode... an Ultimate level. Her pre-Digivolution is Meicoomon, which is a Champion level... meanwhile her supposed Mega level is Raguelmon, though we've yet to see it. in act" Haru briefly corrected and explained toAdrian, knowing that this couldn't have been Shoutmon's entire Digivolution line, right? "Well, it's still useful information! Maybe later when Shoutmon can Digivolve to it, we'll have to rescan him!"
Haru had to admit that Katsura had... a very interesting way of viewing things it seemed. Guess they weren't wrong... Humans WERE weird. "Heh... I like to think we're all weird in our little ways... Humans AND Digimon." she sweetly commented, humming to herself in regards to Nyao's comment. "That is true... to be perfectly honest, you guys seem to defy all human logic with your existence. However, that's the exact kinda thing a couple of friends of mine and I want to figure out! Like why do certain Digimon Digivolve differently? There's a whole lot we all could learn about Digimon if we just could all put our heads together."
Tawna meanwhile took a more quadrupedal stance as she sat down and listened, briefy licking her paw (an odd sight considering their humanoid shape and overly curvaceous figure) idly. "I am not one to say I know everything there is to know about our kind, but for as long as I stand I will in her endeavors. I'd imagine you two will do the same for your own friends." she spoke to both Shoutmon and Nyao... actually pausing as she realized what she just said, a slight look of shock on her face.
Friends. How odd... Somehow, it felt more natural to say that word now than it has in the past... Was Haru rubbing off onto her? She wasn't sure, but at the same time didn't seem bothered.

"Oh... whoops..." Adrian sighed as he sweatdropped. "I... ughhh..." He felt too embarrassed to even speak. Shoutmon couldn't help but laugh at Adrian's behavior.
"Adrian's too awkward for his own good..." Shoutmon joked.
"N-No, I'm not!"
"How come I haven't seen you talk to any human friends then, huh?"
"Because I just moved here. I... haven't made any yet, besides you, of course." Adrian heard what Haru was saying and he tended to agree with her. "Yeah, from what I've experienced so far, the Digimon are even more mysterious than other animals out there in the world! It'll be handy to learn new things about them."
Shoutmon took in what Tawna had said into his heart. He only knew Adrian for a week or so, but still, he felt himself... caring about him, more than he ever cared about anyone else in his life. Shoutmon nodded at Tawna. "Of course I will. I'll always be by Adrian's side, no matter what."
Then Shoutmon's stomach rumbled quietly. "When will it be safe to get out of this place? I'm getting hungry..."

"A digimon never really stand still, they always get a new form. That's part of why they're so special." Katsura said to squeeze herself into Adrian and Haru's conversation, then she decided to help Adrian... In her own misguided way.
"There's nothing wrong with talking with digimon over humans, they're are quite easy to relate to. Did you know I spent a year living in the digital world? It's very pleasant once you get used to it."
"Ugh Katsura, you're doing it again."
"Sigh, sorry about that it's just so easy to get carried away, when talking about stuff that means something to you. Do you know those feelings?"
Katsura asked Adrian then she turned to Haru nevertheless.
"Digimon aren't that weird, most of the time they're just misunderstood. I know a bit about digivolution of partnered digimon. When the bond between a human and digimon tighten the digimon grow and the closer the bond the higher form a digimon can remain. I don't understand how but these digidevices are powered by the strength of the heart. That's what makes them so special. But you probably know that already."
Nyao listened to Tawna, and with a confident smile she then answered her, right after Shoutmon.
"There's nothing I won't do to keep Katsura safe and happy, she means everything to me."
Katsura kneeled down on the ground to reach Nyao. Once Katsura could reach, she started to scratch Nyao on the back and received a purr in return. Meanwhile she spoke to Adrian.
"The only thing that's keeping us here is your best friend for life, if only we can think of a way to keep him secret we can leave right away."

Haru couldn't help but laugh a bit towards Katsura... They sure did have a high opinion of Digimon it seemed. Honestly, that kinda wide-eyed view was refreshing to see at times, but she did kinda have to disagree that ALL Digimon were easy to relate to. She's certainly had her own fair share of thing she's had to work out with Tawna... They were getting there though! "I mean WE'RE humans, yet we're all getting along just fine! In the end, humans... Digimon... we're all people, even if we all look the same." she cheerfully quipped as glanced around to everyone, then to Katsura specifically. "I... I can tell this is something you really care about Katsura. I don't think everyone can easily say they've found their own little spot in this big, wide world... but I think you and Nyao have done just that being together."
Considering Katsura's... well, kinda childish nature in some ways, it was easy for Haru to forget that they were actually a seasoned veteran of the Digital World and Digimon as a whole. She did know there was kinda some hidden power between tamers and their partners... after all, why else would humans like her, Adrian, or Katsura become involved with this world? In a way, just hearing that from Katsura just kinda gave Haru a warm, fuzzy feeling inside of her. "Well... I guess that means that so far, Tawna and I are really close if she's able to keep up Ultimate level like this!" she warmly smiled, glancing at Tawna (who faintly adopted a blush as they averted their eyes briefly from Haru's).
Fun conversation aside, Adrian did snap Haru back into reality realizing they kinda were all stuck in a mucky restroom with no place to go. "Ah... Yeah, I admit that being stuck in a place like this was NOT how I wanted to spend my afternoon personally." she mused, admittingly reminded that she was going to be needing to get this stupid essay done or something. "Well, if Katsura doesn't mind... maybe she can at least get you two home with the portals of hers without causing a mess? To be honest, I need to get back to working on this paper of mine." she ended up asking Adrian, glancing back to Katsura briefly.

"The Digimon are really interesting creatures..." Adrian says, in semi-agreement with Katsura. "If you had told me a month ago that they existed, I'd have thought you'd gone insane or something. But seeing them with my own eyes... it's incredible."
"Yeah, us Digimon are the best, huh?" Shoutmon asks, feeling pretty superior at the moment. "Plus, we can Digivolve and become even cooler! I can't wait to see my Champion form!"
"You mean, you don't know what it looks like?"
"Not at all!" Shoutmon said all too proudly.
"Wow..." Adrian laughed. Adrian turned around to face Haru. "I really am sorry for this whole mess... We are not coming back here until I get one of those V-Pet things you have."
"But what about mall food?!" Shoutmon asked. "Come on, Adrian, you promised!"
"We can't have you be spotted, Shoutmon. It'll be alright." Adrian turned over to Katsura. "Kat, you can teleport us to the Digital World, right? Can you take us to where we can buy these things? V-Pet, Digiport, stuff like that? If not, you can just take us home. I live in Western Shibuya." He proceeded to tell Katsura his address.

Getting through Katsura with something as banal as facts, isn't that easy as Haru is about to find out. You see, Katsura had already warped Haru's words in a way that conveniently fits perfectly with the narrative, Katsura is trying to make. Never mind the effort in trying to challenge her beliefs.
"Right, being with digimon and other partnered humans are the best way to go. After a while you, ugh I mean I, don't really need people who doesn't know digimon. When you know digimon, you also have something to talk about."
The easiest way to tell how obsessed with digimon Katsura has become was her friendly nodding at Shoutmon when he bragged that digimon are the best. Haru commenting that Katsura had a great passion for digimon caused her to pick Nyao up to get her a hug.
"Thanks Haru-chan, I really don't know what I'd do if I lost Nyao."
Katsura then heard the others going back and forth on the many levels a digimon can possess. She was very tempted to barge in telling that she and Nyao had recently achieved super-mega level. But Katsura stopped herself just as she had reached out for her Crest of loyalty around her neck. No Katsura, this is not about you. It's about getting the others comfortable about digimon. With a sigh, Katsura let go of her tag. Katsura was brought back to reality, when both Adrian and Haru made gestures that they wanted to go home or at least in Adrian's case to Terminus where he can get a v-pet. Katsura took out her digidevice and pointed at the toilets.
"Umm sure, you can probably get a v-pet in Terminus, they have a large mall."
Then Katsura pressed some buttons on her digidevice and a moment later, a portal was showing up in front of a bathroom stall. If you looked into it, you could easily see Terminus City. Once Adrian was out of the way, Haru had nothing preventing her from leaving the bathroom, so getting him out was the main priority.

"Well, guess that settles all of this at least... You should be able to get a ride back home on the Trailmon station, where hopefully then it will be easier to hide Shoutmon." Haru mused, happy to at least see everything work out in the end. It did get a little hairy for a moment, but fortunately they all lucked out. "Let's just try and avoid that from happening ever again... Scared me half to death!" she exclaimed as she glanced over at Tawna.
The Meicrackmon Vicious Mode blinked twice at the girl, then faced both of the other two tamers and their partners, bowing to the four. "Pleasure to meet you all." she deadpanly spoke... though she did at least mean it, at least in her own weird way.
Haru smiled lightly, if just because for once Tawna was actually acting... well, kinda nice. She waved to Adrian, Katsura and their partners as she pulled out her D-3, Tsawna materializing back into data into the Digivice. With that, she scrambled out of the restroom with her belongings... huffing to herself as she soon went back to her table so that she could continue her work.
