The dolphin Digimon flinched at Dio's aggression, but when nothing came of it he relaxed a bit. "Ehehehe, easy now, you's dun wanna hurt anyone! The library, eh? Well, I cans show ye around a bit! Jus' follow the tailfin!" The Rukamon then turned, and began to swim into the library!
The Gesomon nodded at the four. "Nice to meet you all, then!" Upon being asked how people live here, he rubbed his chin. "Well, we tend to live in those spires over there." He pointed at the tall buildings rising from the water. "See the ones that still got glass in their windows? That's where most of us live, cuz you can pump water up high into them. The ones that lost the glass, the water just shoots out, so you can only live up to where the surface is." At this point a waterspout gushed out of a glass less window on a spire, and Divermon was catapulted out into the sea below. "...that don't stop some idiots from trying to pump water into the other spires now and again!" Yukiko's Digivice then vibrated. She nodded. Seems the other two already scanned plenty!

That worked, easily enough! Dio's aggressive nature compounded with his compulsiveness, diffusing the situation upon itself - and that was long enough to finish the scan, the Rukamon 'file' uploaded and automatically sent to each member of the Field Club, whether they were part of the mission or not!
With that done, sitting on the balcony of a building, he simply gave an idle wave as the Impmon settled next to him. It seemed that Carlos was being led by the dolphin right into the Library. "Hm... no point for all of us to go on in there, I suppose." From this rather convenient perch, holding the scanner as if it were a camera, the feline focused the signal over a Divermon.
Silent for a few awkward moments, the cat simply mentioned:
"Can't you use ice? That might have worked better."

Naoko heard vibrating! That...had to mean something, right? She watched the graceful plummet of Divermon into the hapless sea and tried not to snerk or anything. That was kind of rude. Titania tapped her chin. "...Maybe you could make that specific spire a hotel for the people that...well, aren't suited for living underwater...? Or an inn?" It was mostly idle ideas, but there was potential there.
Or maybe they could order some more glass...?
While the fairy was thinking, real hard, Naoko looked to Yukiko. "S-So, uh...where to next, Yukiko-san?" This science stuff was actually proving to be quite interesting, sure, but unlike the other girl she was very......green when it came to it.
So she had no clue where to proceed when progress was actually made.

“Great, thanks a ton.” Carlos would reply with a small nod, waving at the digimon on the roof as he followed the sea digimon into the library. The place was rather large and well lit, the bookcases filled with what appeared to be books, though there didn’t seem to be any paper inside them, instead all of them being made from some sort of hard plastic like material. Solid like a rock, light as a normal book.
If Carlos had to hazard a guess, he’d think they most likely worked like the holographic displays they had seen so far on the rest of the digital world upon opening them. Either that or they wrote everything on stone tablets like it was ancient times? Regardless, it looked like good research material right for the taking. “Uhm, can we take some of these with us to the surface later or do we have to pay for that?”
As this was going on Dio simply looked down on the street below quietly, grumbling still from his earlier failure. When Mikemon asked him about the ice however, this changed. He glowered at the cat for a moment, seemingly almost offended by such a question, before huffing a bit as he crossed his arms.
“Duh, freezing stuff underwater without freezing yourself is hard, even for the Dark Lord.” He complained as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. It was hard to admit but it was the sad truth. That and…he really hadn’t thought of it in his anger. Ah well, at least its not like the Mikemon would mock him for it, would he?
He’d later lean a bit closer to take a peek at the cat’s own scanner. “How long till we’re done here? The Dark Lord hates being wet.”

Rukamon watched as Dio left. Seemed strangely relieved when he did, though! The dolphin Digimon then led Carlos down the aisles with the books. "See? These is ours books! They are made from some kinda nonwetting material! It's super neato!" Ah, and Carlos wanted to take some along, well sure! "Of course ya can take em along! Oh, I founds more down the line, follow me!" The Rukamon then swam down the hallway, into a side room.
"Oh, we -tried- to make it a hotel for the dryfolk, but ever since one rich Etemon tourist accidentally used the pumps and sued us for like a million Bits we decided to better not let them into the pump towers anymore! Some people, sheesh!" The Gesomon huffed. Yukiko tapped her chin, thinking over where to go next. A-a-a-a-ah, h-h-h-how about we see if we can find a harbour along the way? Th-th-then travel between land and here should be easier!"

At this point, the cat was taking this mission on a more casual scale: another successful scan would bring the D-Arcs of everyone vibrating once more, as the data of a 'Divermon' appeared on their screens. The cat kept his gaze down, idly looking for another scan, while giving a shrug at Dio's comments.
"Hm. Seven Digimon and we'll have that part done, and I've scanned... two. So, decent progress." Seeing a Submarimon slowly amble its way through the path below, the cat gave a shrug of his shoulders. Dio did have a good point, but the cat, instead of calling him out on it, decided to give a tip.
"If you take your glove off, and hold your hand open - almost so that the skin is pulling against the hand, you know - your hand won't freeze at all from it. Any 'residue' will simply slip right off." Tricky to think about, but maybe it would give the imp 'something to do'! Once more, the cat moved to take a picture... time for scan number three!

So it was apparent that Titania's idea had been tried and promptly ruined by some dumb monkey guy. She very clearly looked...a little saddened by this. "Wait...really? That sucks...Maybe just try blocking the pipes off...? Hmmm..." Titania had her thinking cap on now. Or just warn that anyone who messes with the pumps gets a lifetime ban from the hotel...Yeah. That'd totally work. "That guy sounds like a real piece of work, too...So I'm really sorry to hear that." The fairy nodded.
Naoko was a little surprised at...Titania being polite to someone. It was jarring. She then looked to Yukiko. "T-That's...Yeah, if we can find one and m-mark it down it'll help a lot of people who're interested in coming here. Question is...W-where's land again?"
...WERE THEY LOST?!
