Behind the houses once again in the same forest, he seemed to visit so many times, laying on his back with a notebook on his chest staring up at the soon to be dark sky for a while before sitting up cracking his knuckles before getting to work on some drawing he seemed to be doing, soon his thought process was interrupted by a blond nearby giving a loud sigh stretching his arms blocking Shi's line of sight. "Man I'm tired, shouldn't we be getting home soon." He asked looking up at the sky for a bit, the sun was going down anyway and they were close to home.
"We've got time, it's just over there. What scared that spirits are gonna come out and scare ya?" asked a second blond nudging the first. "No, I'm not scared, just concerned we might get lost, even though I can see houses over there, and yeah ghosts are kinda spooky." He muttered defeated, the woods were literally connected to the housing district and they hadn't gone that far in, what's the worst that could happen.
Welp, that bout of silence was short lives. With how quiet it was Shi was able to hear someone walking around, sitting quietly he slowly closed the notebook before getting the attention of Yuudai and Yasuo, which was usually the signal of act natural. "You got it Shi, I'll be as quiet as a, wait was that a. I'll just be quiet like myself." With that little thought process done Shi sat there for a bit checking around for a second or two before seeing the human in question.
Making sure his digivice was inside his pocket the three of them looked pretty normal, just three teens in the forest late at night. "Oh right it was a mouse, as quiet as a mouse as they say huh Shi." Good job Yuudai, you figured it out.
After discussing a quick plan with Shoutmon (in secret of course, the three teens didn't have to know) Adrian decided to walk up to the group. He had to make sure that they weren't in the way, in case the rogue Digimon decided to show up and possibly hurt them.
"Hello," Adrian greeted the three politely. "I was just wondering if you've seen a... well, anything weird, basically. I'm into supernatural things, and I heard that there was... well, I don't know what was here, but..."
Ugh, this was going horribly. Where the hell was Adrian going with this?
"Look, there's something going down in this forest. You three aren't safe here. You need to go, now," Adrian tried to say in the most polite fashion possible.
He is terrible at lying, Shoutmon thinks from inside the Digivice.
Shi gave a small wave as this newcomer introduced himself, then went on to say a sentence that really didn't make a lot of sense but he kept talking before declaring the three of them must leave, which all sounded very suspicious. "No, I haven't seen anything all day, been pretty quiet." Shi mentioned in his cold emotionless tone of voice he uses. "If you're talking about spirits I don't believe in silly rumors like that." Shi mentioned completely waving the teen off.
"We're safe no worries, I'm the strongest guy I know. I can take anyone." Yuudai said with a genuine smile. "Why isn't it safe though, we're pretty close to the residential district anyway." Yasuo asked, all the of them looking at Adrian curiously.
Adrian sighed. How would he explain this to them without revealing Digimon...?
"Well, as long as it seems quiet for you guys, then I guess... everything's okay here, right?" Adrian says. "No... screams of bloody murder or anything?" They really were just normal teens, hanging out in the forest relatively close to the safety of modern life. "Well, then that's good! I guess we're looking in the-" Adrian was then interrupted by what sounded to be a loud roar. "...exact right place."
"Adrian, it's the Gui- ...oops," Shoutmon's voice says, but luckily it was quiet enough so only Adrian could possibly hear it.
"That sounded... very very close," Adrian mutters. "You might want to get out of here as soon as possible. In fact, we should ALL run back to the safety of civilization right now."
At this point, we really should have just told them about Digimon...
Shi looked at this newcomer for a bit as he explained what they might have heard. "I am pretty sure if someone was screaming bloody murder I wouldn't be sitting here quietly drawing." That was a very good point but still all conversation was interrupted by a loud roar that sounded pretty close by.
Shi instead of listening to the teen slowly stood up leaving the notebook by the tree and putting his hands in his pockets. facing the vague direction the noise was heard from. "Yeah it did, you should head back." Shi almost sounding like he demanded the teen leave.
"Yeah, if you could please just ignore that noise, we can handle it. It's Agu- I mean it's time to deal with problems, we can handle it no worries." Seems like the three of them wouldn't be moved by words.

"...you're Digidestined, aren't you?" Adrian finally asked. It all makes sense now... "There's no other way you'd willingly go towards that thing, unless you were just incredibly, INCREDIBLY stupid." Adrian then turned to the one blonde that spoke. "And why the hell would I ignore that noise?"
"If they're Digidestined, can I finally come out of this thing now??" Shoutmon's voice called out from Adrian's D-3, which he ended up pulling out.
"Yeah, we're gonna need you..." Adrian says. "Shoutmon, realize!" A bright light came from the Digivice, and from that light formed a small red monster, with green headphones.
"Shoutmon, ready to roll!" Shoutmon triumphantly announced. "What a coincidence that we ended up running into other Digidestined huh? Speaking of... where are the Digimon?" After Shoutmon asked that, another roar was heard, this time even louder.
"Now's not the time," Adrian says to Shoutmon. "Be prepared to attack!"
Well turns out the teen was a digidestined as well, Shi would be surprised if it wasn't for the fact that they seemed to flock to him like he was a bargain sale, Seriously the last time Shi met a normal human it was his teacher, and now he isn't even sure she isn't a Tamer as well. "I've seen people do much more idiotic things if I'm to be honest, yeah I'm a tamer." Shi mentioned pulling out his own white D-3.
"Because we're gonna handle the noise obviously, there ain't nothing we can't take down, except maybe Yggdrasil." Yuudai was confident, not stupid. Eventually his partner came out, a shoutmon, that was one Shi knew about so neat. "I guess you're a new tamer, my partners are right next to me." Shi mentioned pressing something on his digivice deactivating the Holo suits causing the two blonds to become twin Agumon.
"Yuudai and Yasuo the Agumon twins at your service." The one with no red marks said, Shi put his hands in his pocket as the noise got closer, he thought about turning them into Mega but the district was too close, plus he had to see what the threat was.

"Holosuits... of course..." Adrian chuckled. "That's the first time I've seen them in use before."
"I assume you guys are fairly more experienced at this," Shoutmon tells the Agumon. "Adrian and I are still fairly new at this, so it's good that you guys are here."
"PYRO SPHERE!!!" A voice shouted out from deeper into the woods, and a blast of energy came flying out of the woods towards the Digidestined.
"Rock and Roller!" Shoutmon yells, attempting to hit the energy sphere away. It almost succeeded, but the blast went right after Yuudai the Agumon, which Shoutmon did not mean to do.
"Whoops... sorry!" Shoutmon says as he sweatdrops.
"It's a rogue Guilmon," Adrian explained to Shi. "We spotted it scaring a bunch of children at the school, so we followed it here. Turns out, it really does not want to go back to the Digital World and sttacked us before running off into the woods. We have to get it back before it causes more harm!"
Looking back at Yuudai and Yasuo for a bit as Adrian mentioned that was the first time he had seen those. "They're pretty useful, should get one for your partner if you can." Shi recommended though Shoutmon was talking to the Agumon. "Yeah don't worry, whatever it is we should be able to handle it." Yuudai mentioned with his usual confidence, yet a blast of energy came flying out of the woods.
It was hit away from the whole group but went right towards Yuudai hitting him square in the head, when the smoked cleared through he seemed perfectly fine. "It's fine, takes more than that to hurt me." While he did that though the other Agumon let out a small laugh. "Don't worry, he has a thick head."
"Alright then, the attack came from that way, afraid I can't exactly digivolve the twins here but we outnumber em." Shi mentioned so they didn't get their hopes up he'd just go crush the opposition. He would if he had to though. Though considering it came out and they heard it quite easily it was close by, plus the direction of the attack helped. "We should try and trap him, circle around and cut off his exits in the forest, you go to the left and I'll head him off at the right." Shi recommended hoping to trap them, a direct assault would be bad to the humans if they got hit.

Well, that was too late. As soon as Shi finished explaining his plan, the Guilmon jumped out of the trees and landed right in the middle of the group. It looked at each and every human and Digimon there, its eyes resting on Adrian.
"You will not take me back to the Digital World!" it growled at him. "It stinks compared to this beautiful place! You cannot control me, human!"
"I'm not going to let you scare or hurt anyone else," Adrian says, trying to hard to mask his fear. "And that means you have to go back home."
"AAAAURGH! PYRO SP-"
"Fiery Fastball!" Shoutmon yells, throwing a fireball right at the Guilmon, and although it didn't do too much damage, it did cause his attack to be interrupted. It growled and angrily faced right towards Shoutmon.
"You better stay away from those humans if you know what's good for you, Dino-Breath!"
"Why are you wasting your time protecting them?" the Guilmon asked, stepping more towards Shoutmon, and inadvertently giving an opening for the Agumon to attack. "They're weak and feeble. They don't offer anything to us Digimon."
Well too late for plans as the Guilmon seemed like it was ready to die, good for him making that choice to fight outnumbered like this, Shi would applaud if he didn't think it was so dumb. "He's right, if you wanted to stay you shouldn't be going around attacking people, that'll get you kicked out anywhere." Shi pointed out, after all no one liked getting attacked. Unlike Adrian he seemed too calm, and he had a stare gazing at the Guilmon looking right into his core.
"Cross fire." Yuudai mentioned closing the distance between him and the Guilmon his claws cloaked in flames as he slashed straight through turning around after cutting them, though no reprieve as right behind Yuudai, Yasuo had come slashing again with his own claws.
"Yes, I offer nothing except the ability to get them to reach new evolutions much easier, fuse with them to form a legendary Super Mega level Digimon and provide easy access to the human world, really it seems like you need a human more than others." With that, though Shi was holding something his took out, a grappling hook and he shot it right at the head of the Guilmon, wouldn't do a lot of damage but would probably hurt like hell.

The Guilmon took those two hits from the Agumon and was clearly damanged by both their attacks. Then Shoutmon came into the fight and smacked the Guilmon right across the face with his mic. Guilmon growled and turned towards Shi as he was talking.
"You stupid human! I'm going to-" The Guilmon never got to finish. The grappling hook Shi had shot at it had stabbed right through his head. His eyes going lifeless, the Guilmon fell to its knees before falling onto the ground, before degenerating and turning back into a Digiegg.
"Holy shit..." Adrian gasps. "That was... not a pleasant thing to see. Oh my god..."
"Eh, I've seen far worse," Shoutmon shrugs.
Adrian slowly walked up to the Digiegg and picked it up. He then turned around to Shi. "That was needlessly dark, but it worked... Thanks so much for helping us out. It might not have gone so well if you hadn't."
Shi stopped for a second before looking at the grappling hook he fired then back at the now destroyed Digimon for a bit before retracting the hook. "Yeah, I'm just as surprised as you are, didn't think he was that weak." Shi said putting the hook away, he hadn't intended on killing the Guilmon but chances are mercy wouldn't have helped given what the Guilmon used his last breath to say.
"Yeah I've seen worse too, and have had worse happen to me before, though not the head anyway." Yuudai added scratching the side of his head with his claw before Shi turned the Holo suits back on and he did the same action with the added factor of a human hand. "Like I said I didn't even intend on destroying him, note to self-don't use this as a weapon."
"It's no problem, happy to assist, my name's Shi, nice to meet you."
