Greater Shibuya was a melting pot of cultures both criminal and not steeped in poverty, seasoned with rumors, and sweetened by desperation. All it's residents though were not entirely human. Of the areas of Shibuya Greater Shibuya tended to foster the most rogue digimon hostile or otherwise. It's empty streets and buildings, gangs, and drugs made it easy for the creatures to move about unseen or at least unnoticed or so it had.
Rumor had it the rogue population was dropping. Digimon attacks becoming rarer and it wasn't AEGIS on the job either. No...there was a new player in the game. More interesting yet though was the lingering rumor of a Doctor willing to take not only human patients...but digimon.
Yet strange things happened in Greater Shibuya every day. The Yakuza, gangs, and more unusual occupants meant that the abnormal was normal among them and the only rule was that of the concrete jungle. Live, thrive, survive. If one did not do this the only thing left was death and those locals that remained did so because they were hardly as harmless as they might appear. Such though would not be as well known to outsiders and newcomers who saw only dilapidated streets, broken, buildings, shanties, and run down homes and apartments where natives saw battle lines. Leaving those who stepped into the spiders web to learn where to step or find themselves snag like helpless flies.

It seemed just like any other day in Shibuya. People hustling about in their daily routines. One big city bursting with life. Through the city streets, an extravagant white limousine passes by the seedy alleyways. Inside, two young men and an interesting lady are enjoying their trip in style. There was Dante, a young adult who places the virtues of justice and wisdom above all else. His cynical outlook of society and the way Humans treat each other often left his world feeling grey. His bold red hair cascades down over his ears. He is wearing a black t-shirt with a gold logo, a leather jacket, dark blue jeans, and a leather belt with a side pouch attached where he keeps his cigarettes.
Accompanying Dante is a lovely, obnoxious young lass that goes by the name of Willow, but their close friends know that they are actually Dante's Digimon partner, Wormmon. While masquerading in a holosuit to avoid detection, she has long flowing green hair, and is wearing a white and green schoolgirl uniform. Lastly riding in the back of the limo, the computer genius and technological prodigy, Shirou. The sunlight reflects off of his glasses, illuminating his pale face. His hair is as dark as night, and reaches down to his shoulders. Shirou is wearing a white suit with a black dress shirt underneath his jacket, with a dark blue tie. Driving the limo is Keramon, Shirou's Digimon partner. The bizarre Virus type controls the vehicle from within its mainframe.
Dante and Shirou are living it up, drinking wine in the back. Shirou pours another glass of red wine, and takes a big sip.
"Ah, there's nothing like drinking a fine glass of wine."
Dante finishes what is left in his glass, and sets it down on the tray.
"I agree. Though can you start taking this seriously?"
Willow, previously distracted by the passing scenery, turns to Dante.
"Where are we going again?"
Before Dante can speak, Shirou cuts him off.
"Your paranoid partner here wants to investigate some strange occurrences here in Shibuya. Something about rogue Digimon sightings. Personally, I'm just happy to have an excuse to ride around, drinking wine."
"It's not just Digimon sightings. Somebody is getting to Digimon before other organizations even have the chance to. There could be innocent Digimon in danger."
"Digimon shouldn't be roaming our world in the first place. We're never going to find anything driving around. Keramon, darling, would you pull over?"
"Did you just call Keramon darling? That's it, you are cut off, you drunk nerd!"
The limousine pulls over, and the trio step outside. Shirou instructs Keramon to stay inside, and wait to receive further instructions. Dante, Shirou, and Willow walk down the street, searching for any sign of a disturbance. Something catches their attention, as they hear a noise coming from down a nearby alleyway.
"Well, you wanted to check things out. After you, Dante."
The trio starts walking down the alley, not knowing what to expect.

The alley was narrow and dark barely wide enough for the two humans to walk abreast and littered with blind doorways. Above them loomed a spidersweb of fire escapes making rescue from the air and flight difficult to near impossible as the cobblestone walkway wound around a sharp corner ending in a brick wall and a solitary figure awaiting them.
It was a man or appeared to be male wearing black pants, black long sleeved shirt, black biker gloves, and black knee and shin pads and elbows pads, every inch of skin covered in pitch dark material except for his left arm around which was wrapped a steel chain and his face. His face was covered in a pale white and red fanged oni mask with a red mane obscuring where the eerie figures real hair might be.
"The rich should not walk streets they do not own." The figure spoke the mask robbing any semblance of tone or inflection from it's voice leaving it sounding hollow and unnatural like an empty shell. Behind them the soft click of multiple guns was the only warning they had been surrounded as more of the masked thugs seemed to melt out of the shadows as they stepped from the doorways their weapons trained on the trio's heads. Perhaps if Wormmon was fast she might take out one or two before they fired upon the tamers, but the thugs numbered twelve including their leader and Dante, Shirou, and Wormmon only numbered three.
"Now you will pay in blood, flesh, or wealth for your transgressions." The Figure spoke as one of the thugs stepped forward nudging Dante hard between his shoulder blades with it's gun to force the man to his knees. The same would be done to Shirou and Wormmon as one of the few unarmed masked thugs stepped forward intending to cuff them for transport.

Suddenly, a shady man wearing an Oni mask emerged from the shadows. He made if clear that he was looking for trouble. Before Willow has the chance to say something stupid, the trio hears the sounds of about a dozen guns being cocked. Dante stands there in shock. He hadn't anticipated being caught off guard like this. The important thing was to avoid getting shot.
"Easy now, we will comply. Don't shoot."
Another thug comes up behind Dante and points his gun at Dante's back. The trio is forced down and cuffed.
"Dante, I-" "Just go with it. We're outnumbered..."
At this point, Shirou is panicking. His heart rate increases and he starts to shake slightly.
"I'll give you all the money you want. Just don't hurt us! I can transfer over everything in my accounts."
The group isn't sure just how trigger happy these thugs are. Would they keep them alive long enough to take their money, or would they shoot them just because they could? For now, they are willing to listen if their lives are on the line. Even with a Digimon around, the chances of Dante and Shirou escaping unharmed are very slim if they provoke these thugs. It was everything Willow could do to hold back. The Worm King wants to bash these goons and give a 5 minute rant, but that is out of the cards. Just who are these thugs?

"Make your case to our leader. Perhaps your money will sway him. Till then cease your cowardly bleating." The captain or at least ring leader of this minor group growls out as they finish cuffing the trio and hauling them to their feet. With the occasional nudge of a muzzle against their backs they're forced to march, being half lead, half dragged through one of the side doors and through an empty building out into the winding back alley streets and down the maze like back turns and cut throughs. Eventually they're lead to a low squat concrete building which looks not unlike a garage with a large door for cars and a smaller side door for people that is boarded up. Wrapping their knuckles harshly on the metal door it slowly inches up to allow the trio to be shoved into the darkness revealing the top level of a sub-terrain parking deck. This section is laid out not unlike a trench with concrete street dividers hauled in to form makeshift walls for the thugs to hide behind should their fortress try to be assaulted. At this point four of the thugs peel off leaving six to escort their prisoners down one of two doors leading into the depths pushing, pulling, and dragging them down the rickety metal stairs for what seems like forever until they hit the bottom level.
Pulling them out the door what had once been a large room has been sectioned off into a shanty town of sorts of sheet metal hallways. Leading them down the winding route the three eventually see what looks like chained and padlocked barred metal doors one would pull across a service elevator to lock it up. The elevator itself however, is gone leaving only a large concrete square room in which sits as solitary figure.
Upon their approach the figure moves lifting the head from their knees to cast the guard a glance revealing it to be a young woman in her early twenties, her hair light blond and cut short like a lions mane where it frames her face. As she gets to her feet they can see she is wearing an olive drab leather bomber jacket, a black longsleeved turtleneck, and a pair of black cargo pants and boots. More importantly she looks far from happy. As she leader shoves the trio into the 'cell' and takes off their cuffs she wastes no time leaping at him with a low growl as she swings for his masked face. Forcing the man to turn as two other guards swarm in to keep order as he wrestles her off eventually backhanding her sending her dropping to the ground from the force as she spits out some blood from her split lip and glares at him.
"You are making a very big mistake. You know as damn well as I do the Yakuza are not going to stand for this." She spits out her words as cold and haughty as a razors edge as struggles to her feet holding herself with a sharp pride that does not belay her battered appearance.
"You're lucky you're worth far more alive then dead." The ringleader sneers jerking back and snapping the barred door closed with a clang as Cas spits her blood at his masked face. The click of the lock loud in the silence as the thugs stalk off.

This was all happening so fast. Dante and company found themselves forcefully escorted down to some kind of makeshift sublevel base. They are taken rather harshly to a broken down elevator shaft and forced inside. Only they are not the only ones in the cell, as they see a young woman with blonde hair. Based on her expression, it certainly wasn't wise to provoke her in this condition. As the leader takes off the cuffs, the unknown woman viciously attacks the thug, It takes two guards to pull the woman off of the leader, and he drops her with a stiff backhand. The woman spits blood at the leader's mask.
Dante watches as the leader locks the cell and leaves. The three of them are left locked inside with a presumably crazy lady. They are still trying to process what has happened.
"Okay, that was some seriously messed up stuff, you guys." "Who holds up people at gunpoint?! I would never treat my captives like that." "Uh, guys? Who do you think this woman is?"
The trio looks over at Cas. Shirou has a perplexed look on his face. She mentioned something about the Yakuza, so she must have some seedy connections with the criminal underworld.
"Pleased to meet you, psycho woman. My name is Willow, and these are my manservants." "We're not manservants. My name is Dante, and Rockefeller over here goes by Shirou." "It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Miss. I mean, considering the circumstances." "Just what the hell is going on? We weren't doing anything wrong. You should have let me blast them!" "If you had attacked, we would be bleeding out all over back at the alley."
Shirou takes a moment to study the woman's attire and body language.
"I guess there's worse people to be locked in an elevator shaft with. It's kind of hot in here. Maybe you should lose some layers." "This is so not the time for that kind of attitude." "I agree. Maybe she's got some large breasts underneath that jacket." "No, she looks too short to rock a good pair."
Dante facepalms, letting out an annoyed groan.
"We've just been abducted at gunpoint, and you two are concerned with boobs! Shirou may be smart when it comes to computers, but when it comes to human interaction, he's a novice. And my frisky lady friend over here is a spaz." "Hey! Bad Dante!" "In all fairness, I'm still in shock, and kind of buzzed from the wine."
What is the meaning of this? Why had they been taken captive by these thugs? Could they be responsible for the strange occurrences in the area? Dante didn't want to reveal that Willow is in fact a Digimon, but they might have no choice if they want to get out of here.

Slowly Cas gets to her feet once more leaning slightly heavily against the wall her busted lip leaking a trail of blood down her chin as she surveys her new cellmates with sharp half-lidded eyes. For a few seconds there is blissful silence then all too soon for her liking the room explodes into noise as what feels like a billion questions are fired her way. Cas does not answer any of them. At least not yet as she straightens up and wipes the back of her hand across her mouth leaving a streak of blood over her cheek and lips that tints them a vicious red and then very slowly she smiles.
It's not a...friendly smile persay. It's sharp, and clean with more teeth then warmth and feels like a predators snarl more then a greeting as she sizes up the trio from head to toe. Then with very careful consideration she inclines her head to each of them like a Queen leading court and answers their questions.
"First they call themselves the Yokai and they hold people up at gunpoint or I assume that's what they did with you. Since I care far less about being shot so they used....alternative methods for me." She explains her smiling thinning into something deadly and anger sparking in those sky blue eyes of hers. It's clear however they caught the woman it was likely unpleasant and underhanded enough to warrant her temper.
"Secondly you may call me Cas. It's lovely to meet the three of you albeit under such trying circumstances. Still while their outfits lead me to believe they might be your manservants Miss Willow their lack of leashes makes me think otherwise as you strike me as a woman who prefers to keep her lessers collared." Cas quips glancing over the trio with a soft huff of amusement at their disarray. Honestly it was like this was their first time being held hostage.
"Thirdly yes I am crazy." She murmurs lounging back against the wall with casual ease as she flips her hand up casually spinning a small ring with a key attacked around her left hand finger. "Crazy like a fox that is." She adds with a vindictive smile as she tucks the key up her sleeve.
"Now if I have your attention~" She begins only to snap her mouth shut at the barest creak of one of the rusty metal doors in the distance. It seemed they would not be alone for long and she wasn't about to ruin her escape.

At first, the woman remains silent. She wipes the blood from her mouth, sporting a creepy smile. She introduces herself as Cas, and mentions that these thugs are known as the Yokai. She also mentions that while their attires make them look like Willow's manservants, they lacked collars around their necks.
"Did she just insult my fashion sense? Ah, my pride!" "Haha, yes, I rather like this collar idea." "I wouldn't rule it out. Depending on the woman holding on to the other end."
It looks like the gang was trying to make the best of a bad situation. Even though the thugs were leaving them alone for the moment, there's no telling what they are planning. And they still don't know much about Cas.
"Hmm, blonde hair, crazy, oh my Goddess, you guys. I bet she's Sal's sister!" "She certainly throws a punch like Sal."
Dante rubs his cheek, recalling one of the many times his part time lover Sal had clocked him. Based on Cas' interaction with the thug, it was clear she is very capable at inflicting pain at close range, To the trio's surprise, Cas reveals that she swiped the key from the leader during the scuffle. Dante is delighted to see that Cas has a way for them to escape. However, before they make their move, they hear the sound of a door opening.
A familiar face comes strutting towards the cell. A tall man with spiky platinum blonde hair confidently makes his way towards them. He can barely contain his joy in seeing these captives. The thug is wearing a black bandana around his head, too much leather, and like the other thugs, a chain wrapped around his left arm. He sports a white and red Oni mask on his right shoulder.
"Well, somebody brought me a Birthday present. Hello, Shirou..."
Dante and Shirou recognize the thug.
"Cassius! What are you doing with these thugs?" "It's nice to see you again, old friend. How goes the breaking and entering?" "Don't you patronize me, you fiend. I wasn't expecting these men to capture such a high profile target, but imagine my surprise when the one man I want to annihilate the most stumbles right into my hands."
Cassius approaches the cell, leaning close to the bars and running his finger along one of the bars. He examines his finger, and sees the dirt that rubbed off. The confident thief chuckles to himself. It was clear just how much he is enjoying seeing his enemy locked inside the elevator shaft. He is like a cat playing with an injured mouse.
"I heard you mentioned emptying your accounts. Once I milk you for every last yen, I will have the pleasure of executing you myself for your crimes. Then maybe I'll throw the two of you in the trash compactor." *Motions to Dante and Willow.* "Keep talking, criminal. Your ego is about to get a reality check." "Is that so? Hahaha! I see you have met your cellmate. Such a sweet little thing, isn't she?"
Cassius turns his attention towards Cas.
"I don't think we've had the pleasure of meeting yet, but I already know so much about you. Such a busy little bee... buzzing around, sticking her nose where it doesn't belong. A lamb in the lion's den." "Bees don't have noses, idiot!" "Of course they do! How else are they going to smell the flowers?" "Shut up!"
Cassius balls his hands into fists and pounds them against the bars. His smug demeanor switched to rage like a light switch.
"You've crossed me far too many times, Cassius. Sooner or later, you are going to regret being a selfish, shortsighted prick your whole life."

The change that comes of Cas is...almost disturbing to say the least when observed by a third party. At the sound of the door she quickly pushes off of the wall, stumbles slightly from the sudden movement, clearly having a bit of a concussion from the hit, and returns to the position she was in prior. Her back against the far corner, legs tucked in front of her, chin propped on her knees and blonde hair falling lightly in her eyes making her look suddenly much smaller and much more harmless then she had before. Her body language is defensive and scared, and likely the reason she was able to take the previous guard by surprise. Now though it's very carefully aimed at letting whoever is approaching see a battered helpless woman who took her shot and failed coming off worse for it.
When Cassius's eyes rake over her she does not speak, carefully averting her gaze as she lifts a slightly shaking hands to touch her lip which is starting to cake over with blood where it split. When his attention shifts to Dante he doesn't notice Cas watching him sharply out of the corner of her eyes, her bangs hiding her gaze well and the slight derisive sneer that curls the edges off her mouth. Still she tucks her chin beneath her legs and settles for glaring at her captor in a mix of impotent anger feeding his confidence with her silence.
He's too busy arguing with the others to notice her shielding her hands from view behind her knees as she slides the scalpels she'd hidden inside the liner of her jacket when they'd seized her first aid kit from their hiding spot. Tucking them carefully up her right sleeve. Mentally she makes a note to hide hair pins in the seams of her clothing. One of the guards had been smart enough to take the ones she had out of her hair and she's just thankful they hadn't had the balls to search her bra at risk of finding her digivice and cards. Thus leaning back against the wall she observes Dante and Cassius...or so the trio claimed is name to be, posture and bides her time.

Cassius watches as Cas makes herself look small, frail, and vulnerable. While Cassius had been briefed on her interesting career, he didn't know what a vicious person she could really be. Her act was enough to lure even the smooth criminal into a false sense of security. Cassius looks down at Cas, smirking with satisfaction.
"Hmph, pathetic."
Cassius turns his attention back towards the others.
"But you three... you are too immature to appreciate just how screwed you are. Do you want me to tell your friends and family in person about your demise? I can't wait to see Judith's tears." "You bastard!"
Dante lunges towards the cell wall and reaches between the bars, but Cassius casually takes a step back, out of range.
"Keep struggling. It's more fun this way. You know what they said about the man who suddenly got everything he ever wanted?" "His ego made him even more delusional, and out of touch with reality?" "No. He lived happily ever after." "There are two tragedies in life. One is not getting what you want, and the other is getting it."
Cassius leans back and laughs like a cackling jackal.
"Always quick with your tongue. It's your only worthwhile skill." "Cassius, whatever I did to you in the past, you have to let it go. Killing me won't make you a better person." "Save it, you cockroach. I will make you pay, and I'm going to enjoy it. I'm not a religious man, but I advice you to start saying your prayers." "I wouldn't expect a common thief to talk theology. You're so self righteous for someone that takes what doesn't belong to him." "I hope your words grant you peace in your final moments. I'm going to speak with my supervisor about acquiring Shirou's fortune, then you will be of no use to me. I'll be seeing you soon."
As Cassius turns to leave, he glances over at Cas again. He gets an uneasy feeling, like a piece of his soul has died because of his wicked nature. He sneers at the woman, then walks away, feeling less confident. Cassius exits the room, leaving the area mostly clear of thugs.
"Oh man, that guy is such a POS. He's going to regret crossing us. I will make sure he suffers." "Then you are just as wrong as he is. Revenge feels great, but it leads to nothing but more suffering."
Dante turns his attention to Cas. Now that the coast is clear, this might be their chance to make a break for it.

The second Cassius is gone and it's clear they're alone Cas unfolds herself from where she'd tucked her back against the wall. Standing she dusts down her pants with a look of disgust before stretching and feeling her back pop. Casting a derisive sneer at the empty air where Cassius once stood she cuts her eyes to the trio as she fishes the key out of her left sleeve once more.
"As I was saying before. Not that I have your attention would the three of you be inclined towards working together to blow this popsicle stand?" She asks with a tilt of her head and a playful smile as she strides past them to the barred gate. Reaching through it she fits the key into the padlock and undoes it with a click catching the chain before it can hit the ground and make a sound and stowing the lock key and all into her pocket.
"Because I don't know about you, but I'd rather get back before I'm missed lest some associates of mine start tearing the city apart in their search." Cas explains pushing the door open as she steps out and motions for them to join her with a small flourishing bow like a magician accepting praise for a great disappearing trick. Which of course was exactly what she was about to pull.

Cas proposes an alliance to escape the Yokai stronghold. As she is the one with the key, and they were not going to leave a young woman on her own, they agree to work together.
"Ya, alright." "Let's skedaddle, shall we?" "...Popsicles?!..."
The trio follows Cas out of the cell, as she holds the door open and bows. Willow looks excited and pantomimes clapping, careful to make as little noise as possible. Dante motions towards the door they entered from, hoping for a clear shot out of this joint. As they are approaching the doors, one of the thugs catches a glimpse of the escapees, and he makes a shrieking howl, alerting the others that they have escaped.
"Great, we're going to have to fight."
Two of the guards raise their guns towards the group. Dante grabs Willow by the arm, and rushes behind cover. A thug carrying a baseball bat with small spikes on it heads in their direction. Dante pops up out of cover and attacks with a quick low kick. He grabs the thug by the wrist and twists it back, forcing the bat out of his hand before drilling him in the face with his elbow. Bullets are zipping by overhead. Willow picks up the bat and takes a swing at one of the thugs. The bat connects with his left arm, as the spikes slice open his skin and get caught in the chains. The thug drops to his knees, and from behind cover, Willow grabs hold of the chain and wraps it around his throat until he is unconscious.
As the thugs are reloading, they again have the chance to head towards the exit. They stick close to Cas, on the lookout for more thugs. Shirou is mostly useless in this type of environment, possessing very little psychical strength and not possessing any of his gadgets on hand. Cassius is nowhere to be seen for the moment, but the number of thugs attacking is growing.
It is a very bloody mess, more than Dante was expecting when he went investigating downtown. He still doesn't know Cas at all, but he is willing to do what it takes to ensure the four of them get out of here safely. Though her crazy persona and attitude kind of rubbed him the wrong way. Considering the circumstances, their differences were not much of a concern as long as their lives were in danger. The fact that Cas had been around Shirou for more than 5 minutes without attacking him was a good sign.

Cas surprisingly does not bolt the moment the gunfire starts roaring overhead. Instead she ducks low using her small size to her advantage as she heads towards the door skirting behind the barricades and using the fact the thugs want her alive to her advantage. She pauses every so often to make sure the others are following even going so far as to knock the feet out from under a thug that tries to leap over one of her hiding spots to take out Shirou not knowing she is there. She snags him by the ankles though stopping his jump and sending him topping face first to the pavement when she spies it. A small, familiar red box against the parking deck wall labeled with a Kanji that can only mean fire.
Seeing as the thugs are likely already aware of their escape Cas decides it's time to throw some chaos into the mix and perhaps prompt the upper levels to evacuate. Pulling the around her fist she'd held onto before she smashes the box and pulls the leaver. Prompting a brief half-cut off schreech of the fire alarm siren before the old alarm dies. The sprinklers though apparently work just fine as suddenly the thugs find themselves having to handle their guns in the rain and shoot targets obscured by water.
"Make for the door! We can get up to the stairs leading to the top from the next level!" Cas barks out bolting for said door herself and hoping the others are hot on her heels as she ditches the chain by slamming it full force into one of the thugs faces leaving it to tangle about his throat as she leaps over the downed man and doesn't stop moving.

The sublevel base quickly turned into a madhouse, as the Oni mask-wearing Yokai pursue the group. Cas manages to contribute to the fighting in a more subtle way, taking out one of the thugs going after Shirou without him even realizing that he had just been saved. Shirou looks around the room, panicking before turning around and seeing the goon laying on the ground.
In a move that changes the tide, Cas makes her way to the wall and activates the fire alarm. The sprinklers activate all over, allowing the four of them to continue escaping. Dante, Willow, and Shirou follow Cas, with Shirou still somewhat clueless as how to look after himself without his gizmos. The group passes through the door, and Dante is ready to bolt up the stairs. As he starts going up. Shirou bumps into him from behind, causing him to stumble forward and smack one of his knees on the hard staircase.
"Argh, damn it, Shirou! Pull your head out of your ass so we can get out of here!" "Well this isn't my field of expertize! I'm usually watching you do this kind of thing from the safety of my control room."
The group starts going up the stairs, with Willow tailing the other three. She pushes Shirou, trying to get him to climb faster. In spite of her size, Cas actually has a decent lead on the others.
"We just got to stick together. Come on, move it!"
Meanwhile, the sprinklers going off have alerted thugs in other areas of the base that something is up. Cassius had been speaking with some of the higher ups, but upon hearing all the commotion, he puts on his game face and sets off to deal with Cas and his adversaries. He storms out of the room in a huff, his shoulders hunched forward, not in the mood for nonsense. If he can cut them off at the stairs, they would have nowhere to run. Just in case something goes down, he checks his Digivice to see where his partner is at presently. The master thief was prepared to settle the score with Shirou once and for all.

"Take it easy on him in-fighting will get us nowhere right now." Cas called back to them as she lead them up the winding stairs to the next level. Any further and they'd be met with empty air where part of the stair case had been torn out. Leaving it only capable of being reached from a higher level.
"We need to cut across this level to the other staircase. There's another one further down the level, but the one straight across is our best bet." She informed them as she pushed open the door this time revealing a rather large empty gutted parking deck turned room. It had clearly been re-fitted for training and sparring for the thugs and even as she barreled out the door three or four of the men who'd been going about their business and trying to get out of the sprinklers stopped on their tracks at the noise and turned to them.
For a few seconds there was a tense silent stand off before one of them growled out "Get em!" Leaving the woman scrambling forward and to the side to let her ally's through as their enemies charged. At least this batch seemed to lack guns.
