Moonlit Sands and Clear Star Filled Skies (Armor Hunt-Fin)

The low dusk sun set low in the west, its form halves by the ever moving horizon, slowly every moment eating away at the bright orb in the sky. What once was a vast Ocean, now lay barren, nothing remained of the great body of water that used to call this 'Shining Sea' home, only the pure white sand and rather mysterious crystal structures in every direction. Luckily for being a very dry desert, it wasn't very hot, actually sitting at a very comfortable temperature due to its proximity to the North of the Digital World. Still, not a drop of water in sight, it made it a horrible place for anything remotely resembling life.
Yet, a sign of life showed. Bat like wings flapped gently before simply gliding along in the wind, large crimson hues peered sharply over the area as this flying figure sailed through the skies above. This would be none other then Trinity, the DemiDevimon would give another flap of her wings, keeping her aloft when she begun to loose her glide. Clutched in her foot was a battle of water, the only thing she managed to take with her into this wasteland--albeit, a good thing to have.
The bad part about this...the bottle was near empty. A sigh would pass the lips of the DemiDevimon, the slightest hint of her fangs showing as she did. The uniquely colored DemiDevimon would spot a tall crystoline structure below--and twist into a spiral to loose altitude. Flapping to slow her descent, the female Digimon would softly land upon the crystal structure, stretching her wings out before folding them to her soft fur covered form. "...It has to be around here. I smell it..." she said to herself, crimson hues narrowing in frustration. The Digimon would lift her leg, bringing her foot with the water bottle in it to her mouth, where she'd use her teeth and foot to get the cap off, taking a good drink of the water. She'd let out of small hum as she drank from the bottle of water, but that hum turned to a hiss of frustration as she ran out.
"...Now I'm out of water." she griped, tossing the empty bottle, and resting upon the crystal structure she perched upon. She eye'd around, there was really nothing for miles, everywhere you looked. But she wasn't just gonna let that phase her, Trinity taking a calm breath as she shut her eyes, and opened her nose--essentially, not literally...that'd be weird.
She'd take in a whiff of the air, trying to pick up the scent she'd been following for what seemed like hours. Unlike a traveling Digimon, there was no prints to follow, just the faint hint of a smell. She slowly turned, smelling...turned and sniffed again....finally she'd open her eyes, them lazily looking in the direction she now faced. She nodded to herself for a bit of encouragement, and spread her wings. Night was going to fall soon, luckily there would be a natural glow emitted in the desert by the crystals, and she was used to the dark...she let a passing breeze lift her light form, and flap to gain extra altitude as she took flight again. She had a strong feeling she was on the right trail this time.

Trinity would sigh softly, letting the gentle breeze carry her light form through the air as she slowly glided along--only flapping every now and then just to keep herself aloft. She'd keep on sniffing the air, keeping track of the scent she was after. She had an acute nose that could smell out both Spirits and Digimental, it really was helpful--if only she had a better nose on her. Her BlackGatomon form would be much better, but ever since her last defeat years ago and being reborn anew, she'd yet to reach such a level. This frustrated the womon Digimon but she simply put it to the back of her mind, focusing on the task at hand in front of her.
As she flew along, the sun went ahead and fell over the Horizon, darkness was officially here, the blue hues of the skies darkening as it looses the Sun's light every moment. The Crystal structures of the Shining Sea begun to glow, emitting an eerie glow cast around them in the vast desert. Dotted along her path as she followed the scent was these structures, they almost continued on forever...almost.
As Trinity continued along, the cute DemiDevimon noticed something. The random spots of crystals suddenly cut off...and now she was flying right into the darkness. It didn't bother her, she could see at night, the idea that bats are blind is stupid. Trinity may have been part bat right now but she was far from blind--plus the moonlight across the pure white sands helped too. Still, it was strange these formations seemed to disappear out of no where...that was until another of these Crystal structures came into view--a large one, the largest she'd seen in her whole time there so far.
Crimson hues blinked, then tried to focus on the large crystal structure glowing in the distance. The scent she was after was getting closer...as she got closer to this spire of Crystal. Does that mean?...That seems to obvious, her eyes narrowed in annoyance at the thought. But she sighed this annoyance out, eyes shutting a moment before opening, returned to a very neutral, uncaring look. A small flap of the bat-like wings of the uniquely colored DemiDevimon would again keep her aloft, mostly gliding on the breeeze.
She'd make her way over to this lone, giant crystal structure, the 'mon slowly circling above it as she looked around. She seemed alone, there was no one else around--hadn't been this entire time...she sniffed the air and was sure, it had to be here...her slow spin around the spire of crystal would drop her altitude, before she came in to land on top of it. She perched at the peak...Sniffing the air once more she was sure of it now. The DemiDevimon made her descent to the ground below, it was a long way with this tall structure but she made it down there, landing at the base...the small Digimon looked up at the looming tower of crystal. "...Now what?"

Well..she was here, now what. Trinity begun looking around, sniffing, trying to find what she was after. "Its gotta be here...the smell is so strong..." she said, continuing to sniff along, the DemiDevimon folding her wings to her body as she stepped around the ground around the base of the Crystal. She looked back to the looming glowing tower of crystal, and a more frustrated expression crossed her face. She begun to hiss, then leaped, charging energy into her claws as she would perform a Nightmare Slash on the tower out of frustration. This just chipped away at the crystal, her landing back and glaring a it. She sighed and stepped back over, taking a seat there on the ground leaned back against the tower.
She sat in silence, staring out into the desert idly, the vast white sands softly lit by the moon high in the sky above. She craved the power so much, but she couldn't find it...this was a running theme in her life it seemed, unable to find what she seeks. Just like the memories from her former life--memories locked away for her, only coming in small hints, flashes, images, fragments...But what did they mean? Who was Trinity?...These thoughts begun to weigh on the DemiDevimon as her crimson orbs peered across the pure white Shining Sea sands.
She finally stood, and begun sniffing along the ground again, seeing if she could smell it out if it was buried, using her claws to dig into the sands, but for every hole she dug, she found nothing in return. This went on for about an hour before Trinity finally sat back down, now surrounded in small holes where she'd been digging. She wasn't a quitter...but this wasn't going well. She sighed, shutting her eyes, tired out from all the digging she'd been doing as she leaned back against the crystal. She kept her eyes shut, letting her body relax for a bit...and a bit turned into a while...and before long, she'd simply fallen asleep at the base of the glowing tower. The exhaustion of digging, the dehydration for being in the deset for hours without water now, it all got to her. She'd soon after begin dreaming, first starting out like any other dream state--random stuff you could barely remember if you woke up...but soon these random dreams formed into something...else.
Darkness loomed. Nothing could be seen, pure darkness. The sound of gunfire, yelling, war...they all slowly faded in. Trinity outside of her dream squirmed a little in her makeshift resting place. These sounds grew louder...suddenly the muzzle flashes of a Mothmon's tail gun briefly outlined the shadowed form of someone wielding it by hand. Darkness came again. A voice called, giving out orders to his troops...an image of Trinity as BlackGatomon flashed across her mind, just a brief moment of her taking over before attacks lashed into said cover. Trinity in reality squirmed more, as this nightmare worsened.
A final image flashed. It was almost an out of body experience, she didn't see this from first person, no, but from behind a form she knew had to be herself...right before it burst into nothing but code. Trinity's eyes shot open and the DemiDevimon popped up to her feet, breathing heavily as shock and fear filled her features. But slowly she calmed herself, she realized it was just a dream, she was still here--she was okay...but.
As the DemiDevimon looked up, her eyes filled with unadulterated disbelief. Standing before her was a ghostly image, the details was faint but the outline could be made out to be a Gaomon...but before she could even question what she was seeing, the wind blew this ghostly figure away, simply like dust in the wind. She stepped closer, eyes still full of disbelief, before finally looking down. Tears started filling her eyes as she stared at the ground, but her teeth clenched tight in this mixed bag of anger and sorrow--topped with confusion. "WHAT IS THIS?! WHY AM I SEEING THESE THINGS?!" she lashed out loudly in anger, before shutting her eyes, the tears rolling down DemiDevimon's cheeks. "...I need to know...please make these memories clear." she softly said to herself. But...she opened her eyes and looked up again to where the ghostly figure once stood, and now something else took its place. A soft glow, a shiny aura..before her was the Digimental of Clarity. Her mouth opened, shocked...before she could react, the Digimental sped towards her, and went right into her body--absorbing the data.
Trinity begun to yell as the power begun to flow through her body, and she begun to glow brightly. Digital Code ripped from the glowing tower, feeding into the growing orb of light. Finally...shatter--the light fell like broken glass and faded, and left something new. Trinity hovered about 5 feet off the ground, and would look to her hands...they was large, red, she looked over herself and found she was now perched on a flying broomstick. She smiled...she found it, her Digimental. She was now Witchmon! She didn't pat herself on the back to long though, saying nothing she simply smiled, and nodded towards the large tower...with that, she took off, speeding across the desert back towards civilization on her broomstick.
