Going Nowhere Bright (Sho & Wakako)

Perhaps an odd sight to see a creature that was by all means far stronger than a Rookie breaking down into tears, but this was what was happening with Wakako. She now had power, but she was no less terrified than she was before... Ironically, that power only lended to Wakako being more unsure than ever now. Even as Sho returned to their original shape comforted them, the Human Hybrid struggled to decide what to say... what to even do. "... Wh-Why does it hurt, Sho? ... Why did we have to fight?" the dragoness asked, a familiar and innocent tone in their voice.
Deep in there, it really was just Wakako... Wakako Mozume wearing the skin of something far more mythical.
In the end, the young man's words reached out to the Alexandramon... they leaning onto them as their form shimmered, data dispersing as their original petite human form fell into Sho in an attempted hug. The girl was shivering from fear, her body quaking as she struggled to get a grip on herself... While she tried to fight back against the tears, she couldn't keep them from coming out. "Sho... I'm so scared. I-I just want to go home... b-but I can't..." she spoke, a hint of despair in her voice.
A mouse in a cage.
It would take about a minute or two of crying for the girl's tears to finally dry out, she hugging Sho in an attempt to derive some comfort. It... It did help. The white-haired girl gazed up into Sho's eyes, a meek but appreciative look in their gentle stare. "... I-I'm sorry mister Sho... Big girls aren't supposed to cry." they quietly apologized, taking a few step back as they kept their hands to themself.
She wasn't sure what to do now... She found the power here (at a cost...); was the next step to leave? The girl took out her Digivice, realizing that the radar had went silent... for now at least.
Sho's words rang in her head... offering a bit of comfort to the girl. What just happened... it didn't change who they were, did it? She briefly glanced down at her hands, as if debating if that were true.

Sho had all but fallen to his knees, hugging Wakako as he descended to her level and let her weep into him. His legs could barely move from their spot and his arms had only just barely faltered in catching the girl from the data of the dragoness. All those arms wanted to do was hold her closer, to remind Sho that she wasn't going to fade into dust. Just like how each of her questions wouldn't leave his ears, not in this echoing cavern, not ever.
He could conjure dozens of books in his mind that asked each and every one of those. But he'd never, ever thought any had the right answer...
Sho's mouth was closed for the longest time, just letting Wakako's words echo and her tears flow. He had to pull from something right? It couldn't just be Sho, the scrawny kid on his knees, holding someone he barely knew. Holding someone he barely knew how to protect...He had to leave, didn't he? He couldn't leave behind his world, his books, his parents...He had to give an answer right here.
Sho had to break that silence himself.
"We fought because we wanted to live, Wakako. And it might hurt because none of us understand...But that wizard made something painfully clear." Sho sighed, separating himself so he could see Wakako's face again, motioning his shivering hands to try and wipe away her tears. It was only getting colder as he continued..."He was going to wipe us away, so we had to survive." He nods, eyes shaking as he began to continue. He could barely look at that teary face for long.
"Wakako...we can survive this world together. I promise. And I couldn't break a promise if I tried. I...I don't know what that was either...I barely know that feeling at all..." His words were beginning to shake too, moving to hold one of Wakako's small hands as she began to look at them.
Sho stood up slowly, holding one of her hands as he looked around. He looked back at her with closed eyes, cloudy tears only just beginning to rise to the edges of his eyes. "Wakako, we have to cry. Big kids or not...It's just something we have to do." Sho assured her, hoping they could escape all this together.
He wanted to bring her out of this with him.

There were so many factors that Wakako was now terrified of right now... Enough to almost lose sight of both herself and her surroundings. I felt as if this world was just an endless labyrinth, filled with bad choices and misfortune to all who dwell in it. A fantasy wonderland the Digital World was NOT... Even if Wakako never considered it to be that way beforehand.
The quaked in anxiety within Sho's arms, unwilling to let go... but in the end it was was Sho who backed away in an effort to calm the terrified girl. Wakako sniffled as she felt Sho delicately wipe away the tears on her face, she finally able to look directly into his eyes... he handing her a harsh truth that deep down... she knew was true. Sorcermon was going to kill them... and would have if they did not fight back. Her face for a moment quivered hearing that they would have wiped them away... They did what they had to in order to survive.
She didn't want to die. She wanted to go home... She just wanted to see her parents again. It was difficult for the girl to sober up, but she believed in Sho's words. "... I-I want to survive too." she mumbled meekly, she grasping the young man's hand as they took her's.
There was something about Sho that broke through the girl's emotional barriers, something that dawned to her that this was someone she could trust with her life. Sho was a good person... What they were saying couldn't have possibly been wrong. For the first time since this ordeal started, the white-haired girl smile softly at Sho... her face still moist, but Sho's words giving her something new to hold on to.
Hope.
The girl's tears finally began to dry up, she approaching Sho once more to hug them... This time not driven by fear, but by a warm appreciation for what they had done for her. She didn't have siblings... but she felt like Sho would have been the best one ever in another life. "... Thank you, Sho. Thank you." she softly whispered, struggling to fight back heartfelt tears before backing off again... taking Sho's hand once more. "Sho...? Can... Can we leave? Th-The caverns I mean." she asked, a bit more emotionally stable as she held out her Digivice... Hoping that they'll find a way out of here soon enough.
It was an odd sort of events... but for the first time here in the Digital World, Wakako felt like everything might just go alright.

He only started shaking when he stood up. When he got to his feet and looked out into the exit of the crystal lined cave that surrounded them, that realization finally hit him. He could feel his knees nearly buckling when the pressure and stress of the situation began to sink into his brain, but he could stand tall enough to hide it from her.
For Wakako, he had to be someone stronger. No matter how much it felt like it, his skin couldn't be paper and his bones couldn't be glass. Sho couldn't rub the small markings of gloved hands out of his neck...
Despite all that, Sho could feel the thought weigh into him. The thought that he couldn't do a thing for her. Sho had to leave, he had places he couldn't miss, people he couldn't abandon. He couldn't stay in this digital nightmare forever, he was only here for a single reason anyway. He could stand there and let Wakako's hug go on a little longer, he could let her words seep deeper into his mind just a little longer.
Sho's eyes wavered, his dilemma becoming just a little clearer while all of these things stayed in his mind.
Why couldn't his one reason become two? Why couldn't he give out just a little more of his heart and mind to someone he couldn't bear to leave behind?
"Of course w-we can. It'll b-b-be a little easier s-since we got t-this far, after all..." That shivering reply had answered all of his questions at once. Sho's shivering hand held on just a little tighter, keeping his own tears at bay while he began to move out of the crystalline cavern with her. He was going to take this whole thing step by step, heartbeat by heartbeat.
Sho Tsuginaga left the caverns...

Okay, so, I'm going to need a little bit of help here since I'm confused by the instructions given over the Thread Completion Thread. So I'm going to summarize the rewards that have been given so far.
- In accordance with the posts, I have given 10 posts to Xenosan, Wakoko and Akemi. - Also Wakoko will load The Hellion - Electric Eye from Sorcerimon.
- Also Wakoko's spirit hunt has been Approved.
I'll need to confirm if these are the correct rewards eligible for this thread.
