A Dark Intent [Team Mission]

Post by Dr. Mikemon on Jul 16, 2018 23:53:31 GMT
Mission DescriptionEver since that unfortunate incident in Whitewater, Dr. Mikemon had understandably been on edge. Honestly, he had hardly an idea of how this was going to go down. All he knew was that whatever force had taken hold over K knew of the Calumon, and that this 'controlled' K was going to do whatever it took to try and steal the little guy away. Of course, he couldn't allow that to happen, but there was so much more on the line than just that!
Unfortunately, the group wasn't exactly aware of when, or even if K would show up - but they had taken a few precautions ahead of time. Those who were unfit or didn't want to fight were likely keeping their distance from the Library, while those that wanted to stop her were more-or-less keeping a close eye around the castle. Dr. Mikemon, reading through his notes in his office, found it hard to even get a proper night's sleep, the Calumon looking back to him on his desk quite concerned. "Hey, you sure this is alright? You're looking a bit ragged there, kitty..."
"Ugh..." Right now, the anticipation was the worst. Had K handled it herself? No, he hadn't heard from her at all in that regard... maybe she was still in isolation? It was hard to say. Simply motioning for the Calumon to follow, Dr. Mikemon would make his way down to the lower floor. Get something to drink, splash something on the face, get back to work and keep watch over the Calumon.
Surely that would be enough, right?

How long had it been since she and her husband spoke? A week at best? With the information and rest that she had been given by the wisemon she was now fully aware of where the library; great and mobile as it was. Would be; or at least where it could or should be. A huge question she had posed to herself is what she could do with the power she had to make this move smoothly? Focus on the forms she had; push them to their limits. To her limits; push them more and more? Or find a new way to use the data that K would't of normally? Well the answer to her was obvious; the dark twisted data that Tawna was responsible for implanting in her by mistake would do nicely. No one would know how to deal with a new form born out of the darkness of this mark. The fallen angel slammed down near the entry of the great library with a snarl on her face. It had taken too long for her to find this place; too long of her scurrying about the digital core scaring those that had nothing to do with this as the mega flew across the sky. There was a few moments that she took in this great moving library; that she marveled at it's structure. It's ingenuity; those within it would absolutely be the sort to of called it home. They would want knowledge to be as mobile as they; as safe as they. But what would they do when that safety itself was threatened? Well she was about to find out.The raguelmon calmly reached up to the door; looking it over. Appraising it; considering it for a few long moments... Before planting her foot directly against it with as much force as she could muster. Clearly kicking it off of the hinges while following through the door frame dragging her claws along the wooden frame. A single word was bellowed from her feline esq mouth. "MIKEMON"
A challenger appears!

Let's be real. In all honesty? When Naoko had responded to the invitation over to the library, she wasn't expecting to have responded at what was essentially the single worst time in the world to. Sis is out cold and not here, someone's after the cute white Digimon to the point where they sent someone who she'd regard as -tough- to claim said digimon, and most of all, she just wanted to help people with their research when she learned of this. Geez. Regardless, with what she knew of the situation at hand, she and Titania took to keeping an eye out for anything odd about the Library.
All of it. In fact, they were at a hallway near the lower room when the assailant/visitor/unfriendly guest had knocked the door down and bellowed out for Mikemon. All things considered? Naoko should have just ran. Except she couldn't really, nor would she have thought of running. This was her friends' work. All of them. What sort of a monster would just leave it to burn? Who'd leave the Calumon to be swiped up?
The answer was not her. Naoko's walk down the hall turned into a run down and into the lower room, only to be met face to face with something neither her, nor Titania had seen before. Oh, yeah, Titania was sitting in her hoodie like usual. "...Oh, hey. A..." "...I don't know what you are but...I think I know what you're here for and I don't think it'd be in good conscience to let you have them." Naoko uttered. It was quiet. Titania just stared at K and hoped to Yggdrasil and Homeostasis alike that they and Mikemon and co. were NOT the only ones down here.
"...Good grief." Titania muttered, the Tinkermon suffering a bit from shock and awe before she sighed. "

The Great Moving Library, usually so full of life and activity, this time was almost devoid of any sounds other than the low humming from some electrical engines powering the place. Most of it's members, including the ones that spent nearly all day inside it were absent, staying away from what would surely soon would become the ground zero for something dangerous.
The arrival of K.
Seeing how most of the members had taken some injuries from the whole Northen Province incident it was only logical for those unfit to fight to leave and let the ones still in conditions handle this mess.
If that was the case though, then what was Carlos still doing there? After all, despite Mikemon's good work his back wounds received during the past expedition had not completely healed yet, though at the very least he wouldn't be bleeding all over the place anymore. Even Dio, who was now back to tip top condition despite the damage sustained seemed somewhat out of it, though that could have easily been either exhaustion or stress. Maybe both.
After all neither of them could sleep, even if they wanted to. A mixture of anxiety and caffeine would prevent them from even closing their eyes, a weird self induced insomnia. So why were they here then? Simple camaraderie. This was something Mikemon just couldn't face on his own, and Carlos wouldn't dare simply standing by his side while he let both him and the Library burn down to the ground, nor he would allow that lousy wizard (the same wizard that was partially responsible for Carlos' injuries) to take that poor Calumon away. Dio shared that sentiment, but he was motivated for something more...since their attacker would be none other than the digimon that had taught them so much, K. He wasn't quite sure how to feel about this whole situation, but he knew he had to stop her.
And as such they stood waiting patiently on one of the bedrooms, Dio pacing back and forth inside the room while Carlos sat by the bed, holding a small cup of coffee on the one hand, fiddling nervously with the digivice on the other. However a loud smash coming from down the hallway startled them, Carlos practically jumping off the side of the bed and standing up, eyes widened. They shared a quick glance before sprinting out of the room. As it turned out, their suspicions were correct: something bad was quite literally knocking down their door.
Luckily they wouldn't find themselves alone once they reached the room: besides obviously Mikemon being here, there were a couple of somewhat new, yet familiar faces in there: Naoko Toriya, Haru's sister and her partner the tinkermon Titania. The five of them had actually worked together before hand, exploring the Sunken Elysium on one of the club's very first missions. But they couldn't focus on the good news for long, not with another strange, yet familiar face looming through the door. Had Mikemon not warned them before hand, they would have probably assumed this was just a henchmon of Wisemon...but they knew better.
Especially for Dio, who with just one look at that familiar blackened fur, those cross like eyes, that cat like creature...it all came back to him immediatelly. He had fought something like this before...he had almost died because of it.
And both then and now, despite the forms being different, he knew for a fact he was looking at the same creature as that time. And that thought on its own was enough to send shivers down his spine, the usually cocky imp looking genuenly frightened for a second. He had faced that monster before...and did not wish to do so ever again.
"K..." Despite the cold and forced lack of emotion in his tone, that was not enough to mask his sadness nor his fear. Was he really fated to keep fighting his Teacher like this over and over?
Though this fear didn't stop him or Carlos from taking a slow, careful step forward, standing right by both Mikemon's and Naoko's side with the full intent of protecting Calumon from an uncertain fate. Carlos clenched his hand around the Digivice on his pocket, ready to activate it at a moment's notice.
"You know we can't let you do this."

Lazily sitting amid some books figuring out some texts, the brief respite of Alice is thrown into absolute anarchy once again as the entire library shakes from the force of a door being ripped off by the hinges and a scream belonging to a demon. Dorothy is immediately alarmed as well, falling off her broom and immediately getting back on to figure out what could have possibly made such a sound. "..This is it, right?" Alice states as she looks to Dorothy, standing up from her seat and setting her notebook inside her bag. "That freak we were told would come?" "Probably." The witch Digimon's expression is that of an irritated frown, hiding her fear even better than her human partner, but feeling it much more intensely. "Y'know what, I'm cuttin' the talk. Don't get in my way." The green haired woman shivers, taking a deep breath before nodding, her eyes briefly closed. "I won't." Horrible thoughts fill her head, a storm of horrific outcomes involving the entire club being destroyed, everyone getting captured... Or worse. But either way, with no other options but to fight, she looks to Dorothy, and speaks. "This is my fault. If I never brought Calumon here, I'd-" "Shut up 'n go, we don't have time for your kinda rants." Dorothy gives Alice a nudge, and both leave where they are to find their opponent, knowing that it has to be a fight, given the sound of that unholy screech. And upon spotting the hostile, frenzied creature, Alice freezes in place for a moment, her eyes darting from Naoko to the ripped off door back to the hostile Digimon, and with Dorothy following her in, she immediately orders the witch Digimon around. "Don't attack until it moves..." Her expression is enough to show how tense she is, teeth clenched underneath a scowl, eyes fixated into a glare. Despite this, the terror within her, the tall, emerald haired Tamer manages to speak out a response. "...What the hell do you want from us?!" She knows that facing something like this unprepared is akin to suicide, and yet, that is exactly what the group must do. It only takes a moment for Dorothy to ready something for self defense behind her back, but even her confidence isn't enough to cut through the incredible tension of it all, the menacing, dark furred feline angel of death likely powerful enough to slaughter everyone in its way with minimal effort. "...Ain't it obvious? She's crazy 'n wants to gut anyone who gets in her way." She tilts her hat down slightly, her sharp toothed frown exaggerating itself into a horrible, truly inhuman grimace, the faint glow in her eyes visible, irises narrowed into vicious slits.
"Lay a finger on Alice 'n I'll rip your eyes out."

Well, it seemed that Mikemon's trip to the kitchen was rather short lived. With the Calumon holding onto his back and Mikemon putting a pitcher away back into the fridge, he just hoped that K's appearance wasn't going to be so soon...
... But, alas. With the sharp boom from the foyer, Mikemon's ears immediately tensed up, claws tensed and drawn. "Whoa! What's that all about-"
"Stingmon's on the second level." Mikemon's words were short, as he let the small Digimon down. "Go there, find him, and do whatever he tells you to do. Don't worry - we'll keep you safe."
"W-wait!" Too late - Mikemon was already making his way towards the entrance! With a sigh, the Calumon would make his way through the back, to maneuver up a single flight of stairs. "... Be careful out there..."
Damn it, why now? Mikemon didn't have any sort of plan in mind - even if K was restricted to only her mega forms, it would be difficult to pinpoint just which of them she would be using. CresGarurumon? MetalGarurumon? Something he'd never seen before? Really, all Mikemon could do was prepare himself: his data signal spiked all the way up to mega, the cat tensing his right hand around his crystal sphere. It didn't take long for that to form into a gauntlet, covering his right hand...
... And soon enough, he'd be face-to-face with K in the foyer. And those who decided to stay with him - Titania, Naoko, Dio, Carlos, Alice, and Dorothy - would all find themselves in that entrance hall with him, either arriving right before or right after him.
However, at this point, the 'defending' group seemed a touch hesitant. Mikemon tensed his teeth, his gaze flicking up to that unfamiliar, black-furred Raguelmon. But the signal was unmistakable: taking a step forward, the cat held that enhanced fist off to the side, a glare deep in the feline's direction.
"Never wanted it to come to this." Taking the state of the room into account, the cat knew he had to act: with a single lunge forward, he attempted to give a heavy swing towards K's midsection with that crystalline fist! Now wasn't the time to lose initiative!
Log: Mikemon activates Digizoid Will! Duration: 1/3 Digizoid Will: Dr. Mikemon grabs hold of the sphere, the red crystal enveloping a shell over the arm like a gauntlet, with the durability of red Digzoid. During the duration, he can use 'Flight', 'Lightning Paw', or shatter the gauntlet with 'Crystal Storm'.

K's bright blue eyes swept the group that looked to stand against her. Some child that nervously spoke and their partner that seemed to be a little hesitant to act. In fact they seemed to think she was here to talk it out. The next to arrive was carlos and dio; her eyes narrowed drastically at seeing those two. It pained her to admit but she was hoping they wouldn't of been here; she wanted to take her time with those ones.
The next to arrive was a witchmon and their partner. The latter going even so far to ask what she wanted from them. Her eyes flicked to the witchmon at the threat that followed and the Raguelmon let out a throaty chuckle. Spreading her hands out with a grin that split her face ear to black ear.
The raguelmon's eyes narrowed drastically at seeing the mikemon. The last time she had 'seen' him was when she was threatening to destroy part of the city to get him to come out and give himself up to her. That smile only ended up turning darker as the cat spoke and immediately lunged towards her with a heavy swing!
"All I wanted was the calumon."
The raguelmon grunted as that heavy swing towards her midsection connected but not because she wanted to move out of the way. But because she was readying herself for this next act. They were all in the same room; same entry point and most of them were still in reach of one of her most devastating attacks. Normally used to push others away and damage them this would be perfect. She skidded back from the hit and stopped herself by slamming her hands downward as electrical energy suddenly reared it's ugly black energy all across her form.
"EL-THOR"
The build up and release of the energy was practically instant; the ground lit up as the super nova of black lightning rose up and pushed outwards. Any metal it caught bounced and twisted, conducting and rendering their natural form's moot or melted. Anyone that was wearing metal would find that these items were super hot if they didn't move; burning them at their touch. Her reaction seemed instant, powerful and was there to send a simple but devastating message.
She was not here to talk.
Though this also begged the question, just what else within her attack range was metal...?
Log: -K has taken the mikemon's fist to her midsection, sending her skidding back just a bit. -K attacks Using El-Thor!
Attack: El-Thor: This digimon slams it's fists into the ground sending out a super nova of lightning all around it. This lightning bounces and twists through metal objects; conducting through them rending their forms in twain. Metal wearing individuals will find their items super hot and burning at the touch. Robotic digimon, armor clad digimon or those with metallic weapons will find the damage to them is immense. This move can be negated through grounding oneself in some fashion or another. Three post cool down. Range of 50 feet.
Passives: Charge: For each empowered basic attack or Lightning based move, this digimon builds up a stack of charge. Upon three charges this digimon may release an explosive bolt of lightning dealing high damage to a single target. While there is no cool down on this move it requires others to operate. A target must be within a hundred feet. This digimon doesn't lose charge but must hit a digimon to gain charge.
Voltic Core: This digimon can absorb electricity that it hasn't produced to heal itself. Whether from environment or from moves; moves that would damage it heal it by half instead while the environment if given a constant surge heals it by a medium amount per turn until fully healed.
Cool-downs: El-thor: [0/3]

Naoko was hoping diplomacy would be a thing. It seemed less and less likely. Titania on the other hand leapt out of her hoodie and began glowing as Mikemon began the fight with a slam aimed for K. While that was happening? Titania was drawing upon as much power as her bond with Naoko and the D-3 would give her, which resulted in...Something that wasn't Kazemon. No, that wouldn't be enough for this. She had a feeling this still wouldn't be enough, but it would help a lot as the Raguelmon revved up an attack. And in front of Naoko?
"Tinkermon, warp digivolve tooo...!" There wasn't a Tinkermon there anymore, but a humanoid similar to Kazemon but with much more bestial features and a masked face. "Shutumon!" New form aside? She had to think fast. The last time she was in this form was a long, long time ago and she didn't remember -all- of the faculties of it, but...There was one that'd suffice. She thrust a palm outwards as winds seeped into the building and in front of Titania and Naoko as K's El-Thor made contact with this barrier.
Unfortunately? This was a very -close- battle. With K edging out the barrier. Some of the electricity went through the barrier and delivered some rather gnarly shocks to Titania, who -yelled- in pain, and at least one hit Naoko. Well, why else is her hair standing on end and sizzling?
Titania was still standing, though. She felt like this was off to a bad start.
Passives:
Grace of the Queen - Maniac: Every turn that passes by while a bleed effect is on an opponent allows Titania a passive regeneration.
Flying Fairy: Every three turns, Titania can toggle a piercing effect for whichever move she’s using.
Titania shields Naoko with both herself and Protect Shade. She suffers damage from El-Thor given the level difference. Oof. Can't do much else this turn aside from ssssssizzle though.
Protect Shade: A barrier of wind similar to Tornado Gamba surrounds Titania’s front. But, it’s not an attack. This move is dedicated entirely to the barrier, as it extends outwards and is liable to cause harm to physical attackers as well as very literally dice ranged attacks to shreds. It only blocks one attack, though. Three turn cooldown.

Dio would be lying if he said his heart didn't skip a beat when the feline shot him a glance. The amount of concentrated malevolence behind her glare was somehow even worse than her Meicrackmon form. That was a bad sign. Still they chose to stand their ground, somewhat close to rest, never taking their eyes off K. Even as she stood silent to their attempts at talking her down they still refused to make the first move. They wanted to believe K could still be reasoned with, that she could be reached. Just like last time. In hindsight, what happened then could have been very easy to prevent. To Carlos' credit, as soon as he saw Mikemon going in for an attack was quick to whip out his digivice, the light from it quickly enveloping his partner and making his small frame grow into a rather tall shape in a flash. Neodevimon wasn't able to achieve much however, as K was quick to retaliate with an attack of her own, sending a large wave of electricity all around her. Dio didn't even think, moving by instinct to put himself in the way of the attack, shielding a surprised Carlos from the wave of lighting. Unfortunately for him, he didn't have anything resembling a shield like Titania did, so there was nothing that would protect Dio from the attack, other than praying he would be standing just outside its effective range. The demon let out a shrill scream of pain as the lightning current coursed through all his body, the searing pain focusing on the glowing metals of his chest and mask, as if the metallic parts were heating up to ungodly levels, the surface data underneath it practically boiling. Carlos wasn't much more lucky, since while the demon took most of the attack Carlos still felt some smaller currents just reaching him, sending a small but still painful shock through his system. Yeah, admitedly, not the best start to a fight. But it would require more than that to keep the Dark Lord down. After some short seconds that felt longer than an eternity, the pain momentarily subsided as the adrenaline and energy from the evolution began to kick in, Arguably it would have been worse to take the shot as an Impmon, so at least he could thank Carlos for his quick thinking. After rolling to the side and slowly rising back to his feet, the demon glared at the black digimon, his eyes glowing red with power and sheer hatred. This was not K who they were fighting. This was nothing more than a monster that would stop at nothing to kill them. And Dio was not about to give a monster any semblance of mercy. "Red Ray!" The demon yelled, as a thin, burning beam of energy shot from his redish eyes, aiming for the Rasielmon's chest. Dio is hit by El-Thor, and he retaliates by shooting Red Ray towards K.
Passives: Shadow Talisman: At the start of combat, your attacks gain 'Ethereal'. The first shield, per thread, that your attack comes into contact with is ignored, OR The first instance of your opponent's teleportation or intangibility is cancelled. A dull gray stone on a metal string, said to originate from the Core of Darkness. Actives:
Red Ray: Fires a long ranged (100ft) red energy beam from his visor. This attack is not particularly powerful damage wise, but can easily pierce through armor of its same level and below. Three posts cooldown
Cooldowns:
Red Ray (0/3)

Just as Dorothy is about to unleash an attack of her own despite the truly vast difference in power between her and K, a gap so large that the witch is merely equivalent to a mere insect, she is struck by the dark lightning, letting out a horrific shriek and holding onto the broom for dear life, numerous metal decorations on her outfit twisted apart. A whimper comes from her as she tries to raise her arm and attack again, having avoided most of the damage by being off the floor, but a Champion is no match for a Mega, the difference so great that she might as well not be there, slight smoke trailing off of her, the confidence of the witch Digimon completely shattered with one attack. "...G-Gyah, Greeny? Ya really think I can do this? 'Cause I sure don't..." She soon falls silent, save for heavy, pained breathing, just barely alive, her vision foggy. Seeing her partner in so much pain again makes Alice freeze up in absolute horror, unable to watch yet incapable of looking away. Not again, she thinks to herself... But despite this, she gathers what little courage she has against this monster, and takes a step forwards, approaching Dorothy and the crackling, black electricity, amazed that she herself is still standing. If this thing really wanted, it could just rip the humans limb from limb... And unlike the duo's previous desperate encounter, such a thing seems downright likely. "So you're just going to kill us all if we try to resist, is that it!?" While her Digimon partner is too weakened to do anything, Alice speaks for her, slight tears coming from her eyes as she comes forwards to stand beside Dorothy after the lightning fades away, helping the witch sit up straight. "I know she's not strong enough for this... But that's why I'm here. It doesn't matter how weak I am... I'll stand up against you, too. I can't just sit here...""...What are ya sayin'?! Are your brains deep-fried from all that reading 'n burning... L-Listen! You're nothin' to her. Less than nothing..." With agony still coursing through her very core and the entirety of her digital body, the best the electrocuted witch can muster is a slight turn of her head and a pained expression. "I'm supposed to be the one protecting you, no matter what! E-Even if... Even if I can't get any stronger..." "...Remember what I said? We're equals in this. I work... No, we work together to overcome whatever comes our way, Dorothy... That's what we'll do, if we have to." Alice takes out her Digivice, and stares directly into her partner's eyes. "... I don't care if I get hurt. I have to protect you, just as much as you have to protect me... I said so that night, and that... That was a promise."As Alice steps in front of her own Digimon as if to shield them from whatever assault comes next, her digivice's screen glows, first a bright orange, and then a blinding, searing, almost unnatural white, even for such an amount of power normally hidden within such things, an audible electric hum coming from the small gadget as if it is about to burst apart. She holds it to her heart, and closes her eyes before looking at the obsidian black feline with an expression of both desperation and determination, her words cold and piercing. "...I'll die for my partner, if that's what it comes to!" As if in response, the light from her Digivice pierces both her and Dorothy, the emerald haired woman shrieking in agony, but willing to continue, the sensation akin to razor sharp, serrated knives tracing across every nerve... Dorothy soon becomes covered with this light, her shape changing as her broom is flung to the side, cloth being wrapped around her body as she is filled with power. When the light subsides, Dorothy emerges heavily robed, golden eyes glowing brightly underneath a heavy hood, two glimmering orbs of opposing colors held in her hands, and rejuvenated with new energy coursing through her. "...A-Alice!? Are you ʇɥƃᴉɹ llɐ?"The tamer of the spellcaster Digimon stands in front of her with an unnatural, almost possessed look in her eyes. "...What have I...?" Drawn to do so, as if by a greater force, she looks for her notebook inside her bag, finding it unlike what it was before, but familiar either way, the pages now covered in symbols, sketches replaced with elaborate symbols and magic circles. She returns to Dorothy's side almost drunkenly, still in a great deal of pain from whatever she did, and smirks in a manner completely opposite to her slightly slumped posture, a trace of red coming down from her mouth. "What have I done? I feel so..." With her mind full of foreign ideas and thoughts, she stands upright , holding the book in one hand while holding out her other hand, similar to what Dorothy herself would do... "Oh. I... I see. You may not be able to be this strong on your own, but together..."
"Together, we can do far more."
Dorothy has evolved into Wisemon.
Grimoire (Passive):
Due to the circumstances of this evolution, Alice's notebook and Dorothy are linked to some extent, to the point where the notebook can act as a conduit for Dorothy's abilities and data. This allows Alice to access some degree of inhuman power herself, provided Alice has her notebook, though the shock of such energies going through her body is nothing short of agonizing due to the inherent incompatibility of Digital energy and a human body. Unfortunately, it's also the main method of attack the duo have when Dorothy is in this form.
Alice herself becomes able to use the attacks of Dorothy's Champion form with a slight boost in power, though she gets an additional 2 post cooldown for each of them, as her body was not meant to do such things. Overuse of such abilities will inevitably lead to Alice's mind and body deteriorating, and potentially even worse effects...

At the appearance of that black lightning, Mikemon immediately knew that everyone standing in this room was in for a world of hurt. The feline's initial punch had managed to force K back a few feet, but not nearly enough to push her out of range - and the Raguelmon's return swing was brutal. Mikemon was immediately brought to choose: would he try and summon his crystal shield to protect himself, or would he press what little momentum he had to try and push back against the Raguelmon?
It wasn't much of a choice: everyone behind him hadn't even Digivolved yet. He had to make a stand, and buy as much time as possible for the rest of the group to compose themselves. Thus, as the wall of lightning came forth, Dr. Mikemon tensed his claw, gritting his fangs as he braced himself for that electrical attack. For the mega, well, it wasn't that bad: his feet were planted against the ground, allowing the electricity to flow straight through him, his 'load' shared with the entirety of the Great Moving Library. He dug his nails in, refusing to give an inch... and through a thin smoke that rose from the ground, Mikemon leapt forward once more.
This time, he didn't go for a direct strike: hairline fractures quickly spread around his gauntlet, and at a mere few feet away - almost point-blank, at this measure - Mikemon would declare his own attack:
"Crystal Storm!"
The fragmented gauntlet would fire out as an expanded array of crystal shards - at this close range, it would be akin to taking a shotgun blast to the chest, should it hit! Though K may have shook off the first hit, well, Mikemon was a mega. She couldn't ignore him forever!
Hang in there, guys! He didn't even have the luxury to look over his shoulder or communicate any of this - though, if this attack did blast K off her feet, it made it less likely that she'd be able to get out of the way of the careening Red Ray!
Below, the Great Library started to groan. As an immediate consequence to K's initial attack, the lighting in the room quickly shorted out, open lightbulbs exploding as the power already started to short out...
Log: Mikemon sacrifices his gauntlet to utilize Crystal Storm! Digizoid Will Cooldown: 0/2
Crystal Storm On use, the crystal gem glows, and lets forth a fast blast of crystal shards in a shotgun pattern. This is especially effective at close range, and even middle-range while manipulating the sphere.

This group actually had teeth did they? They were able to manage some kind of rebuttal from her initial attack. Titania digivolved from tinkermon to a somewhat similarly colored Shutumon. The Raguelmon took a second to address that shift in power; they used a barrier to block a good portion of her attack. But they weren't shielded from the sheer brunt force of it. A hit to both the digimon and tamer made her chuckle marvelously.
The next to be affected by her attack was carlos and Dio; the latter of which would give the most delicious scream of pain she had ever heard. Making the raguelmon positively shutter with a mix of excitement and visible blood lust. Her blue eyes flashing with this tangible emotion.
The next to be affected was Dorothy and their partner Alice. But their question that they pushed forward firsthand made the Cat snarl in irritation. That flickering excitement and blood lust betrayed by her anger for a fleeting instant.
"I come here with my fangs bared and all you do is give me your throats. If you want to talk go to a tea party Princess."
Their digivolution and exchange wasn't really enough to shake what the Digimon had said; though the new form managed to get a severe narrowing of her eyes. A wisemon of all things; there was a broody chuckle and she'd manage out another line.
"How cute. You have a robe and everything... Just. Like. Him."
Of course what followed wasn't a surprise, she took a few moments to address the fact that the mikemon had taken a good hit from her attack. She grinned a little bit as he leapt forward her eyes would meet his if allowed of course.
"Give me more."
The shotgun that followed mixed with the ray from Dio ravaged her body, her form skittered backwards and she slammed either of her hands to door-frame, splintering a large section of it but stopping her momentum. For a few agonizing seconds the Raguelmon didn't move. Then a dark throaty chuckle emerged from her; the data that dripped from her and the smoking cooked part that was hit by Dio's Red Ray was only made her body jolt and twitch with every passionate moment.
"Yes.. Like that my little ducklings, following mama home.""
Her eyes swept the group for a single second and following suit? Her hands were engulfed with lightning sparking and twisting off of her form and the crystals that lay dormant there. She'd give a devilish grin, leaping forward and sweeping a claw at the mikemon in front of her.
"SABETOUR-DE-FORCE"
Log: -K has been struck by both red ray and Crystal storm sending her skittering backwards; but she has stopped herself from going out of the door by using the wall/frame. -K has activated Sabetour-de-force -K has made an empowered basic attack against Mikemon.
Attack used: Sabetour-De-force: This digimon charges it's claws with lightning; empowering it's basic attacks for three posts. If striking soaked individual the damage is doubled, if striking a large body of water the first individual that the lightning would come into contact with is also doubled. Three post cool down.
Duration: Sabetour-De-Force: [0/3]
Cool-downs: El-thor: [1/3] Sabetour-De-Force: [0/3]
Charges:
One of Three.

Naoko needed a moment to recover from getting hit by lightning. Oh man, that was not gonna feel nice tomorrow whatsoever, and she staggered away to find some cover before the power just...shorted out. In this room. Meanwhile, Titania, though her facial expressions were -veiled?- Had some barbs of her own to throw. "Teeth bared? Well...I'll just have to pull them out." She snarled as she took a step forward, uttering a low "Shut up, shut up..." before a beat of her wings sent her flying towards K. It may be a little risky to do this, but her intents were very simple.
Get in close, get a few strikes in, get far away before she can get turned to dust by cat lightning. Would this work? Probably not. Plans made mid-combat never seem to work. Regardless, she readied her claws, priming them for attack, before... "Noble Fairy Dance!"
She unleashed a flurry of claw-backed jabs at K as the Raguelmon threw an electrified claw at the good doctor! They were primarily aimed at her midsection above all else. And if K was fast enough? She might be able to go for a counterattack. Though who knows how any of this is going to play out?
Meanwhile? Naoko was behind an overturned table, mumbling -several- things to herself. She was scared, sure, but she had to figure out some way to help her friends...
Titania moves in for close quarters combat!
Noble Fairy Dance: A move Titania came up with that was inspired by one of her parents at this stage. She launches a barrage of piercing claw strikes at her foe in an attempt to riddle them with holes. Two turn cooldown.
She might get zapped. That might not be good.

While it seemed their attacks hit their mark, K wasn't about to let neither Mikemon nor Dio knock her back outside. She really wanted to fight them indoors, didn't she? At the very least, Alice and Dorothy had just reached their Ultimate forms as well. If they made it out alive, Carlos would have to congratulate them both, but especially Alice. It took some serious balls to stand in front of such a terrifying enemy and talk them down, even if Alice's words barely seemed to reach K. But that didn't matter to Dio. All he cared now was turning this battle around. Now that they were all attacking together it was his time to lead the charge, or at least help the others in trying to overwhelm K. Not even a Mega could deal with four enemies at the same time. With a scream filled of pure rage, the cyber demon charged forward, his long claws scraping loudly against the metal floor of the Library. "Bloody Claw Barrage!"As his claws glowed red with power, he slashed in front of him, aiming for the feline's arm. He knew how much her attacks hurt, so he would try to avoid having them land if at all possible. He slashed once. Twice. Four times. Eight times. Again and again his long nails would swipe at K, a small red trail left behind each slash, said trails slowly but surely would converge behind him, slowly growing and forming a large reddish mist like energy. If any club member were to step into the mist, they would surely find their anger rising, their desire to fight become stronger, their bodies overflowing with energy and power...if only for a short time. All but a small taste of everything Dio was going through right now. As all this madness was going on Carlos had slowly but surely limped his way behind the table Naoko was hiding, visibly wincing as he pressed his back against the wooden surface for cover. "So...got any cards or something? Because if not we really have to figure out how to take her down asap."
Carlos said with a grimace, glancing at the hooded girl and at Alice, who was still standing right out on the open. They had to think of something. Anything.
Dio charges forward, aiming to hit K's arm with Bloody Claw Barrage in an attempt at deflecting or stopping her attack aimed at Mikemon.
Passives: Shadow Talisman:
At the start of combat, your attacks gain 'Ethereal'. The first shield, per thread, that your attack comes into contact with is ignored, OR The first instance of your opponent's teleportation or intangibility is cancelled. A dull gray stone on a metal string, said to originate from the Core of Darkness. Actives:
Bloody Claw Barrage: His claws glow red with energy as he charges forward, whilst slashing madly in front of him, leaving a small red mist on his wake. Each individual slash does relatively small damage, but the sheer amount of them in such a small time frame makes this a dangerous move. Said red mist will buff any ally that comes into contact with it, raising the damage of their next attack by 30%. Three posts cooldown.
Cooldowns:
Bloody Claw Barrage (0/3)
Red Ray (1/3)

"...Perhaps if we prevent her from doing harm in the first place, we can..." Alice thinks to herself, looking back at her newly evolved Digimon partner with a slightly confident expression. If everyone works together, this just might be possible. "We can do this."
Dorothy nods, the slightly feminine Wisemon's eyes becoming crescents as she looks down slightly. "You don't need to tell me twice! dɹɐM ɐᴉʌᴉʇɐlǝɹ!" Almost as if she can read her own Tamer's thoughts, she floats over to one side with the orbs floating by her hands, and she grabs them, the very air becoming tense as a bend in space begins to form, the spellcaster's distorted laughter a clear sign of how much she enjoys this. "Gyahahaha... This is so, so very fun..." She may not be nearly as powerful as her opponent, but her confidence is back, the spellcaster cackling as she situates K on a fixed point in space. Of course, given the difference in level, it might not be as effective, but it will still help buy some time.
Though still more hesitant, Alice can feel the power flowing through her, coming from the book and into her body, a foreign energy that stings slightly, uncomfortable, but energizing. All this knowledge, the secrets of a sort of so-called magic at her fingertips... "I feel like I can..." She whispers the words of the magic Dorothy would normally cast, holding her hand out as a circle of orange light forms, a slight heat radiating from it. Calling such a thing forth is far from second nature to her, but she manages to do it, the circle becoming brighter before launching several globs of burning material at the monstrous black cat.
Alice's expression is wide eyed, shocked that she could even accomplish such a thing, her ears ringing slightly as the burning sensation present across her entire body slowly fades and a slight fatigue sets in. "...Hah, how's that for unexpected!" She makes a large, aggressive grin, the pain still present, but the sheer satisfaction of doing such a thing, of setting something or someone on fire through sheer willpower alone, is enough to make the woman satisfied with herself.
"ʇɐɥM? I didn't teach ya any of that! Quit copyin' me!" Dorothy grumbles, more than a little bit confused at Alice's actions, but deciding it would be better to focus on the battle at hand and ask questions later, even if asking questions isn't normally her thing.
Dorothy attempts to bind K with Relativia Warp!
Relativia Warp: A patch of distorted space is placed upon the enemy via the space-time stones, binding the target in place. As they try to run or move, the target finds themselves stuck in the same place rather than moving... Well, anywhere.
Binds the target to the floor for a turn. They are still capable of turning around, using attacks, and so on, but are for all intents and purposes unable to use melee attacks effectively, turn around, and so on. Three post cooldown.
Armagus Flare is unleashed as well.
Armagus Flare: Dorothy The user snaps her fingers, and a red magic circle forms in front of her before rapidly firing out globs of burning hot, glowing, tar-like material rapidly for a moment, pelting foes with sticky, burning projectiles that set fire to objects and cause burns.
Ignites the target for one turn, something that can no doubt cause panic and does some degree of damage. Incredibly painful. Four post cooldown due to Grimoire.
