Indeed, it didn't take much for Syre to be scooped right back up into the cradling of her first caretaker - and the BlackGatomon would be lying if the feeling wasn't at least a little bit nice. Able to take the weight off of her foot, she was once more in her auntie's grip, held in such a way that she might have been able to just laze the day away... well, if not for Amelie's kind teasing!
Syre's ear twitched at that little bit about being a 'SnowBotamon', Syre carefully batting a paw back against her auntie. "Auntie!" She gave that one word reply in both a playful-and-annoyed fashion, even chuckling a bit as the two made their way through the peat moss of the Dark Area. Thankfully, it didn't take long for the pair of them to make their way a fair distance from the cave - enough for Amelie to call out the car.
Really, it seemed the two of them were just going to have to take their lumps. Maybe 'dad' would understand that they were doing the right thing, or maybe she would be grounded for a month. Right now, she didn't care: they saved the totem, and by Amelie's words, she had enough for her article! "Well, guess all we can do is... take it how it comes?" Syre sounded almost unsure about that, but gave a shrug. It 'sounded' right enough - and as she was settled in the passenger's seat, Syre gave a nod towards her aunt.
"You're welcome, auntie." She gave one more chuckle, and looked on towards that black expanse of a sky as they would take off. After such a long day - and after exerting so much energy to Digivolve for the first time - it didn't take her long to fall asleep in her seat.

Indeed. They had quite the trip in front of them. But, at least for now, the duo could get a well-deserved rest.
The D-Reaper: A chaotic force of destruction or something else? There may be something behind the organism's rampage beside wanton destruction. Piecing out what that exactly is may be key.By Amelie Saboro. With the collaboration of Syre, the BlackGatomon.By this point, pretty much every digimon and human should be acquainted with the D-Reaper. The strange, mostly formless organism capable of summoning agents at will, and capable of corrupting most, if not anything it touches. Anonymous sources have informed that no kind of contact with the D-Reaper or its agents can end positively, caution being compulsory when handling it. However, it seems that there's more than mindless, wanton destruction. The circumstances are currently under research, but the D-Reaper has been shown capable of developing intelligence in the pursuit of its objectives. Whether it is in the search of something holding it back, or actually recovering energy and plotting is up for debate. Yet, more than one question remains. What is this cryptic being's objective? Is the corruption of sentient beings an unintended side-effect, or something the D-Reaper plans for? Can we force it to become inactive somehow, or do we have to combat it each time it grows out of control? I'm not sure, but I'll do my best at trying to find out. Multiple photos of a cave populate this article, showing the D-Reaper in varying states of inactivity.
