Round 3: A Three Way Dance [Timothy vs. Coolmon]
|
Post by Ayaka and Coolmon on Oct 22, 2018 14:43:39 GMT
Coolmon felt that maybe using an attack that further hindered her mobility in the air was not the wisest of plans. But, she had coasted along this tournament off of trying to remedy her awful plans thus far. Nothing was about to stop her from taking at least ONE of these birds out. Even as the fireballs battered against the plummeting metal-like rabbit and singed her further (she could swear she was smelling whatever meat one could make out of a rabbit by now) her descent only slowed but a little bit.
Yet, that little bit wasn't enough to mitigate the damage she had already caused to the Crowmon. What she had to do as Bibi started her assault was finish this attack, and get away. Fast. Raising a limb, she finally called the name of the attack out. "Arm Bomber!" And slammed it down unto the Crowmon...right as Bibi began her assault. Coolmon could only really put up her arms to block the blows but...The fire. The fire was what seeped through.
The rabbit began to try pushing back. Maybe this would get her some pause. Relief.
Killer Queen: Every round of combat that passes grants Antylamon a stack of this. See, every stack gives her a 10% increase in speed and power. The stacks max out at three, capping at a 30 percent increase in power during a prolonged battle. 3/3
Qi Manipulation: Antylamon can manipulate the data within it’s body so it can move flexibly, or take blows as if it were made of iron. 10% speed increase, 10% defense increase.
I don't think even flex tape's gonna be able to fix the amount of damage being taken. Coolmon finishes Arm Bomber by slapping at a Faluo before she gets slapped in return by Bibi.
Arm Bomber: Antylamon hardens her body to the level of chrome digizoid for one post. As a result? She can’t do anything for this post. The next post, however, has her unleash a MONSTROUS blow, dealing 170% damage to her target, should she hit. Three turn cooldown!
Cooldowns:
War Song: 0/3 Arm Bomber: 0/3

Faluo was definitely finished off, the Arm Bomber guaranteed the knockout. Within the crater that from the collision was Faluo lying there as a Falcomon. He wasn't able to push himself much more than to push himself up.
Timothy waved to Faluo, "Come on back buddy! You're done for for now!"
Faluo nodded and made his way out of the fighting area while he wasn't in the blast zone of the two ultimates going at it.
Bibi had to keep her offensive up now. Now that the fire had burnt her enough, she should be able to deal some some easy damage. Her wings started to glow as she let out a screech, then rushed towards Coolmon again, spinning herself around to slap her foe to the ground with her wings, hopefully the playing ground had been evened enough for her to be able to hold her own against a full ultimate.
Bibi:
Fire Tornado (2/2)
Eagle Wing: Bibi slashes at her opponent with her wings.

One down. One to go. Coolmon was actually starting to tire of this. She knew birds had hollow bones and all that for flight purposes but these were some surprisingly durable chicken tenders. She turned to Bibi only to be faced with a very literal slap to the ground.
Really.
She slapped the master of the slap.
That simply wouldn't do, would it?
No.
She was not going down so easily. Especially against half of a puzzle that had just had it's other half taken down. With an audible -slam- on the ground, a pure red...coating seemed to erupt from Coolmon's shoulder and covered the entirety of the Antylamon as she rose and aimed to deliver a jab at the center of the Garudamon. This was Red Mode. This was what Deputymon had left her with.
Active Passives: Killer Queen: Every round of combat that passes grants Antylamon a stack of this. See, every stack gives her a 10% increase in speed and power. The stacks max out at three, capping at a 30 percent increase in power during a prolonged battle. 3/3

Okay so first off, Coolmon got slapped with a move that does slashing damage and knocked over. Subsequently, she activates Red Mode and attempts to get up and assault Bibi with a simple jab.
Red Mode I - Red Layer (Plot Reward): An approximation of the D-Reaper's shield, usable once per thread and lasting for three posts. On use, the user appears pure red, and physical damage is halved over the duration. On direct contact with an enemy, either by touching or being attacked, a thick red residue is applied to the enemy's point of contact. Lasting for a post, heavy burning damage, similar to tar, is inflicted over the area. It is also corrosive, effective against mechanical opponents.

Bibi just barely avoided the jab as it grazed the feathers of her left wing. There was a sizzle, then the ends of the feathers melted away. "Okay, guess we're playing with potentially dangerous and unknown powers now..." Her eyes suddenly glowed red as ten bubbles appeared around her. She lobbed four of then in the direction of Coolmon, then held the remaining six around her as she flew against the edge of the Colosseum, trying to keep Coolmon to only being able to attack from one side and allow her opportunities to avoid potential incoming damage. If she wasn't playing this carefully, she could get defeated.
Bibi avoids the simple jab mostly, it melts some of the feathers off of her left wing, but other than that, she is okay. She activates Red Mode II as a response and now we have a Red fest of Redness and painful red everyone to throw red bubbles at red people with red eyes and red. Yeah, she chucked some bubbles.
Bibi:
Red Mode II - Red Field [Plot Reward] - An approximation of the D-Reaper's field, usable once per thread and lasting for three post. On use, the users eyes take a red tint, and red bubbles begin to radiate from the user's surface, at a rate of (10 Ulti/15 Mega/20 SM) bubbles per post. These can be thrust out in a single direction in a barrage, dealing burning and corrosive damage on strike. If not fired, the bubbles are held around the user, acting as a deterrent to physical approach.

"I mean. This is non-canon anyways, so does it really matter in the end?" Coolmon took a deep breath as she took a quick jump to the side to avoid the four bubbles, before she gave chase to the Garudamon! Flashes of red for the spectators to view! She wasn't sure how high the Garudamon planned to go, but she had legs and she planned to use them. Forming her arms into the Bao Fu once more, the Antylamon leapt up after Bibi...
And she spun in a whirling dervish, attempting to get in close to deal some damage, any amount to Bibi even if she sustained even more damage along the way. This fight was definitely going to near it's end, one way or another.

Coolmon breaks the fourth wall, before she gives chase to Bibi! She avoids the first barrage and jumps after her, attempting to slice her up with the Treasure Axes! She, however, puts herself at a disadvantage. You can't -dodge- in the air.
Bao Fu - The Devil’s Dance: Antylamon can lunge for an opponent and attempt to very much chop them into ribbons by doing a deadly and coordinated dervish of the whirling variety with her Bao Fu arms. Two post cooldown.

"Oh right... Yeah, screw it then." Her four bubbles that were thrown at Antylamon seemed to have been avoided, popping off in the back, but Bibi had a new problem. A giant bunny coming at her to try and end the fight as quick as possible, though she had an idea to deal with this, it involved causing as much damage as possible and hopefully not going down too fast. She hadn't actually been hit more than once so far, so she thought she could win a war of attrition if they tried at this point... Might as well go for it.
As the next ten bubbles radiated off her body, she ignited a tornado of fire directly under her and stood inside of it in a boxing stance, waiting for the Antylamon to come into her little circle of pain. The bubbles circled the tornado now and made this into a very not safe circle.
If Antylamon commits to lunging into the pain circle, Bibi would be ready, taking every slash in stride and solely focusing on holding her form together while letting the fire and acidic bubbles do hopefully her for in before she falls to the ground within a minute.
If she doesn't, well... Bibi is just gonna hunker down within the tornado and just keep waiting.
Bibi: Fire Hurricane: Bibi creates a massive Tornado of Fire that lasts for two turns. (1/2)
Red Mode II bubbles: 6 + 10 = 16 (10 remaining to join the fun)

Coolmon was definitely going to commit to the lunge, taking as many hits as she could as she passed into a ring of flame. It was notable now that her hide and clothes were likely scorched black, which made for a rather fearsome appearance when coupled with Red Mode. For every bubble that touched Antylamon, she gave a strike with the treasure axes. For every strike, the same red residue covered wherever she hit, feeling akin to burning tar.
It was incredibly likely that neither combatant was going to last very long like this. And as Coolmon began to descend, she tried to grapple onto Bibi to pull her down with her. It was kind of like a yank, really, done as hard as she can and with every bit of her remaining strength.
If she was able to do this, she'd have grounds to just finish this right there, if not? As much willpower as she had, she wasn't really gonna last much longer. Felt like she was slipping.

RED MODE DURATION - 2/3 CHIPOTLE WITH WASABI
Coolmon commits to the lunge, taking even more damage from the fire and the bubbles corroding at her, but in turn dealing damage as she takes it! When she starts to fall she tries to grab onto Bibi and pULL HER DOWN WITH HER. No, really, that's what she's doing.

Bibi just needed to hold her form for as long as she could now. She had a few more moments in her and that was it after the current volley of damage. Once she was grappled, there was nothing she could do but be dragged down and let the remaining ten bubbles all go directly into her foe, along with keep the fire tornado over them both. All of that might just be enough to bring her opponent down. If it wasn't, she had one more thing to add to the fire... Literally.
She lit her beak ablaze and started pecking down on Coolmon. Over and over again, was she relentlessly pecking. In her current state, it was really the only attack she could make that would maximize the amount of damage she was dealing as she was effectively headbutting her opponent while being dragged down. She knew she couldn't stop the pull, but maybe she could win before Coolmon could do anything more. If none of this could bring Coolmon down, Bibi didn't know what would.

If there had been a time for Coolmon's incredibly haphazard and self-harmful fighting style to backfire in her face? It may have been now. All the damage she had been accumulating throughout the fight was definitely catching up to her. Bubbles. Pecks. The tornado. The Dokkosho. Everything had been layered like a coat of pain over Coolmon and she was on the brink of a loss from that.
However.
There was a factor that maybe Bibi had forgotten to take into account when she began to peck at the rabbit like a woodpecker assaulted a tree. The bubbles popped at Coolmon and seemed to elicit a cry of PAIN. But she hung on, and had one final gambit in mind.
The Antylamon braved the pain from the bubbles and the half-effective beak, (thanks to Red Mode, which would not only end soon but also cause the tar-like residue associated with D-Agents to crop up and do it's work if it could on the beak,) before the rabbit HARDENED. A telltale sign that one final Arm Bomber was coming that would also expedite the rough landing, and amplify it! "GO! DOWN! DOWN!"

RED MODE DURATION - 3/3 OH GOD IT'S AS INEVITABLE AS A SHIP
Coolmon hangs on. Barely. Like, by a thread, very much only because of Red Mode's effects, and tries to finish this/expedite the finishing of it by beginning Arm Bomber.

Upon colliding with the ground finally, and the dust started to settle, Bibi was seen still standing. Well, we call it standing. It was more like she was trying to hold her body up and looking as though a slight blow of the wind would knock her over. Her form wasn't even really holding at this point, she was glowing a little as her form kept trying to devolve even though she was trying to not let it.
Remember the thing about the wind? Yeah, that's exactly what happened. The slightly blow of wind from above made her fall backwards, which was the final nail in the coffin to devolve all the way down to Yokomon, needing to recharge A LOT. Well, at least she put up a fight, right? With that, Bibi had passed out.
