We're combining We Remember with Before there was Data. I'd like bits for both prompts.
There is something nice about courtyards, even for beings not fully capable of sensing their beauty. Among the many aspects that could be appreciated there were the finely crafted masonry, the orderly way many plants and ornaments were placed, and the tranquil air an open space irradiated, even if it was still safeguarded from the curious and gossipy eyes of an everyday observer. A relatively private area that enjoyed a good deal of the benefits of open expanses, without most of its drawbacks, more or less. Was this really a good way to analyze this space? The formless aberration who resided there at the moment wasn't sure. Nor was it sure on the reason why those idle thoughts swirled around its mind. Having to share its body with one of those hairless monkeys had a fair share of annoying drawbacks, and that was one of them, most likely. Back then, Enigmon didn't have the need of such things like a nonsensical sense of aesthetic or appreciation for primitive geometry and concordance. But... ultimately, that was fine. None of those were really deal-breakers when compared to the state of not existing. Could it be said that this entity 'owed' something to the human that went by Amelie? Hardly, but her appearance had been a convenient event. That was for sure. Remembering wasn't something the digimon did a lot, in all honesty, but sometimes... the past's grasp was unavoidable, and there was a characteristic sense of deja vu in regards to the situation at hand. How else the fact that the three were in a castle's courtyard was supposed to be described? Life could have its turns, and even if the chain of events that had resulted in this happening had undoubtedly been pretty much forced, it still managed to evoke a fair quota of wonder. It really does. Don't you think the same, QueenChessmon, Rasielmon? Or do you prefer to go by Elsie and Evie now? Human names are very peculiar, indeed.Of course, that pair of digimon were vaguely aware of Enigmon's thoughts; it was kind of 'thinking out loud' after all! A bit of a vain display, but such actions were affordable every now and then. Maybe it was part of its 'newly' acquired human nature? The digimon could only wonder... We were in a place like this more or less... three thousand years ago or so, weren't we? You two wanted to acquire a new property, and it was on my best interests for that parcel of land to get... better owners. Truthfully, I did not expect that temporary association to turn into something that would carry out despite the millennia. Or our previous existences ending, while we are it. Those two blondes were rather tough to crack, even if that ended up making the process all the more enjoyable. It had to admit it; the so-called nobles had top-notch taste when they picked their future vessels. But that wasn't as important at the moment. Take you two are reminiscing too? That is fine. Shall we walk that lane together?Could an aberration be really fond of a pair of decadent, self-proclaimed nobles? Or maybe that was the affection the so-called 'older sister' under its skin felt for the girls behind them? No way to know.

I'll also take bits on both! Thanks in advance!
While one of the three beings couldn't fully appreciate the scenery of the courtyard, at least the majority of the group could enjoy it. It brought an air of familiarity -- a nostalgia that burrowed under layers of data in order to cause a buzz in their cores. It felt peaceful. And, it was something that the duo hadn't quite realized that they had missed until now. Would the humans that hosted them be capable of sensing such a feeling, too? The connection seemed like such a foreign concept, considering it seemed that some emotions and stances bled through between the humans that accepted their digimons' pacts.
Both entities remained silent, seeming to listen to the least humanoid looking being in the group. One would shift to look at its pink claws, examining their sharpness briefly. The other remained primarily still, arm wrapped around its weapon in a fashion that might imply that she was resting against it.
Unlike the final member of this group, the two couldn't help but find reasons to remember their pasts. A time before they had met the beings that were willing to inherit their powers. It seemed that the cause of such events that led them to this circumstance had left them in a state where it was hard to let go. After all, the residency that this place reminded them of was nothing but broken pieces, lost to the Dark Area at this point. A courtyard could barely be identified, after years of decay. Much like the ability for anyone to recognize the duo as anything that once held power. Or nobility, for that matter.
Head lifted, to look from her claws to the question that had been posed. Rasielmon would slowly blink beneath the mask. "Indeed; it does," the almost feline-like Mega would agree. Though, she seemed to ignore the next inquiry.
Perhaps, it was because she knew that someone else would have comments to be made on the topic. "We are not the humans that accepted our offer," the armor-clad queen would state. It didn't seem to be a rude comment, despite a sharp tone. "Unless, you would prefer us to call you Amelie these days?" Would the entity pick up on such a joke? Surely, it wouldn't accept the human's name as its own.
Or would it? Enigmon had the chance of not really caring about what it was called. After all, what was in a name?
To the siblings? Their standards and pride. To someone that likely didn't care about the weight that its name carried? They couldn't possibly understand if a name would matter.
"Those were better times," QueenChessmon stated, fondness obvious in her tone. If only they could go back to them.
"When it was acceptable to just take land by force, rather than needing to build." Had it ever truly been acceptable, though? It didn't really matter, if enough force was involved. Nobody would be willing to oppose the decision, if they knew what was best for them. And, while this place had involved, what Rasielmon considered to be, minor violence... It just really wasn't the same. Storming a castle felt far more rewarding in a sense.
But those days were long gone, weren't they?
It was a little disappointing. "You can't deny that our alliance hasn't been beneficial, even with the passing of many centuries," she added. After all, even this settlement may have risked some struggle without the group teaming up. A vain thought, considering many others were involved. But, creatures of such 'high standing' had a tendency to think strongly of themselves, didn't they?
Would Enigmon honestly cut that thought down? Or would the connection between their humans make it bite its metaphorical tongue? Or, would it agree that their alliance truly was of benefit, regardless of how long it had lasted thus far. And, how long it would surely continue to last. After all, even the humans that had been selected had become quite close to one another, but some turn of events.
Given the moment to think about the past and the present, QueenChessmon couldn't help but desire a stroll through the memories of their prior residency. "That was such a nice castle," she hummed, "And, such nice memories." Of course it would be, when they had enough power to just take anything they desired. "Do you miss those times, Enigmon?" Could it miss those times? She would soon find out.

Enigmon wasn't a being of fancy words or magnanimous speeches. Its tone may belie otherwise, but that was no more and no less than a byproduct of the psyche of the girl who acted as her host. Was she what humans called... 'refined'? Maybe; for the entity, everything seemed like an unnecessary ritual to get a point across.
It had gotten used to to the dynamics of this game a long time ago, however. Names themselves seemed to be a touchy matter for the aberration's companions. As for Enigmon itself? It couldn't quite comprehend why something like a recollection of symbols or phonemes meant anything.
I have been called so many names over the course of time; another one wouldn't affect me, but. Your displeasure has been noted, QueenChessmon. As endearing as always.
Was it really accurate to call her the vainest of the ensemble's members? Maybe, even though this trio was pretty much a living contradiction. How could the siblings and a digimon that barely made any sense get along to this degree? A casual onlooker would probably never understand the relationship.
While Enigmon had been 'alone' with its thoughts, the aberration couldn't but feel a vague sense of amusement at the words uttered by its companions. Were they really that blind, or just incapable of accepting one or two truths?
Speaking from the point of view of somebody being here since the start... I wouldn't say that taking territory by force wasn't an acceptable option. It's just that we were weak; incredibly so. My host was never particularly good at collecting spirit totems, even despite the sheer amount of experience she has accumulated. And yours? I am sure they still remember that small outing where I had to nudge them in the right direction. They probably would've taken millennia otherwise. It can be a bit vexing, how this alien species can be so clumsy at times.
The fact that one of its heralds had to help Amelie to reunite every spirit only proved the female's ineptitude, if anything.
If we were at the height of our power back when this enterprise began, we wouldn't have needed to build anything. Or allies, for that matter. Any kind of resistance would have just been paltry. Too late to lament about that, though.
No point on denying that the nobles' involvement had been an asset for as long as the unlikely alliance has lasted, though.
Since its inception, our alliance has been useful one way or another, and for that, my vessels feels... how do you call it? Grateful, I think? It's a pity that the first time, our association had to be cut short due to a pair of untimely deaths. But that's probably a topic for another time, isn't it?
As unlikely as the alliance between a pair of decadent nobles and an eldritch abomination was, who could deny the results? Past and present, they've been quite impressive. What about the question thrown its way, though? Its wondering made her wonder. That was an interesting one, just like the meaning of the word 'miss'.
I do not have attachments to landmasses, but. I guess I preferred the time when I wasn't bound to a dim-witted flesh bag and I could roam this world freely. Does that count as missing? If so, you can call it that.
Discussing their 'feelings' wasn't the main point of this endeavor, however. A walk through memory lane, wasn't it? Even thousands of years ago, the Dark Area managed to look exactly the same; completely deserted and mostly devoid of life, except for the occasional settlement and its tyrannical ruler.
One of those castles was the objective of the three digimon that stood at the distance. Two relatively smaller presences, accompanied by an immensely huge one. Shakamon, Rafflesiamon, and Vexmon. The power exuded by the three super megas was nothing short of enormous; maybe bordering overkill when in regards to the settlement they were about to storm.
Well, not quite 'storm', but the intent was a fair bit similar; it was Vexmon's task to lure out the bulk of the castle's defenders and annihilate them while Shakamon and Rafflesiamon got whoever decided that remaining inside was a better idea. A simple plan, but they did need anything more elaborate when wielding that amount of power? Unlikely.
Shall we?
A massacre was about to begin. Words: 729. (1277).

Was 'endearing' the right word? When talking to someone like QueenChessmon, it was probably the wisest choice that Enigmon could pick! Whether the creature was really capable of being sarcastic was questionable, it was fairly easy to tell that the comment wasn't made with intent to be sweet. The 'queen' gave a small hum of acknowledgement. It seemed that the first thought -- that the monster really couldn't care less about title -- had been accurate. Some things didn't change over time.
It was undeniable that QueenChessmon was the most vain in this group. Especially when compared to one that didn't seem to care much for opinions. And, her sibling didn't even seem phased by the question. Though, it seemed that Rasielmon was less easily ruffled than her twin. Did things like that actually bother her, and she just let QueenChessmon stress over it to compensate for both of them? Some days, the spirit had to wonder just what went on in the Rasielmon's mind.
There was no denying Enigmon's 'words' about being weak, however. It was an unfortunate truth. "I'm fairly certain your 'nudge' will stick with one of them permanently," the feline-esque Mega stated. Pink lips curved into a smug smile, while she threw a glance to the surprisingly silent chess piece. Elsie would surely panic over the encounter as long as her memory of it persisted.
A funny thing about memories was how certain events could accentuate. Morph. Eventually, one would have to wonder if she would remember the event as it truly happened, or as an exaggeration that struggled to fit the occasion. At least Rasielmon could state that Evie hadn't been particularly distressed by the event, aside from a slight nagging in the back of her mind. Nothing overly consequential, and a feeling that's memory would easily be lost to time.
"We must admit," she added to the topic, "your human was not entirely what we expected for you." Yes, we. As twins for some-odd millennia, it was extremely easy for the duo to speak one the behalf of the other without stumbling. Needless to say, the feline-noble had less missteps than her sibling in this regard.
The awkward tension from QueenChessmon seemed to enhance, with the reminder of certain deaths. Rasielmon decided that the best way to diffuse such a thing would be to give a small laugh. Ultimately, they all had met the same fate. There was no point in being offended at this rate. "Another time, certainly." Perhaps, a time when the twins were not together. One of them was far more displeased about their fall than the other. "Just as there will surely be a point where we will rectify that situation." Rectify. Yes. That seemed like a more friendly term than to seek vengeance.
Unfortunately, vengeance would not bring their castle back.
The statement may have been careless, however, if Enigmon had found alliance with the same being that caused their demise. Or, if its human had.
Not that she was overly concerned with the statement. Their alliance surely wouldn't crumble over the potential of offending someone, in comparison to the length of time that they had been working together. And, their humans' connections would surely further the lack of concern. Of course, it helped that Enigmon wasn't particularly attached to anything. Be it people or names.
Finally, QueenChessmon would chime in again, to confirm the Digimon's response. "I would say that counts, yes." After all, it was missing not being trapped with a squishy, potentially emotional creature. Especially one that could just walk off to whereever they want, regardless of where the spirit desired to travel!
And, the idea of freedom was exactly what the duo was glad to remember about their past. About their power.
While some may have considered the power of three super megas to be overkill in regards to their intent, it felt like the perfect amount to the siblings. To see a foe realize defeat before a battle began was immensely satisfying, after all. And, to have the knowledge that they could stomp out the light within the castle was almost euphoric, in its own way.
A long sleeve lifted, to cover the widening smile on Rafflesiamon's lips. Her sibling's expression remained mild in comparison, but the flower fairy couldn't help the excitement. She'd been wanting this castle for a short while now. Colorful discs lifted around the red-clad Digimon, contrasting heavily against the Dark Area's wastelands.
Shakamon gave a small hum in response to Vexmon's inquiry, while Rafflesiamon provided a more defined response. As antsy as ever when it came to dominating the land, she would only answer as her body lurched forward. The intent? To make it into the castle during the initial confusion of Vexmon drawing out their enemies.
"Let's."
Meanwhile, her sibling would wait until the foes were lured out. Two forces almost always made a more concerning visual, after all. But, upon establishing that Vexmon would have decent 'crowd control' skills, the Shakamon would flicker briefly before vanishing. Surely, the aura that the golden-robed being emanated would be identified in a sudden pulse just within the castle doors moments later.
There would be no survivors.

An interesting comment, indeed. Was QueenChessmon bothered by the small nudge given to Elsie? If so, Enigmon couldn't really understand why; it already had a hard time understand emotions, and these were definitely among the most complex and unnecessary of them.
Were my actions undue, QueenChessmon? The attitude your host had before that encounter would have gotten her killed if she found herself in a situation with any real measure of danger, if you ask me. I understand your preference for those reckless types, but she was way too shortsighted back then and didn't have enough power to afford that luxury.
Its words were completely devoid of empathy, almost as if the aberration was talking about pruning some branches off a tree, rather than traumatizing a young girl.
You can't deny I excelled at rectifying that situation, however. And, besides, it seems like your human developed a degree of fondness towards mine. I would say that is a favorable outcome, considering our alliance.
Whether that comment would aggravate QueenChessmon or entertain her was up to chance, more or less! For now, one of Rasielmon's remarks had caught Enigmon's attention. Or was it a shared remark? Pronouns could be confusing at times.
No what was expected from me?
Had the digimon been able to feel surprised, this probably would have been a good moment for that. Or maybe, it wasn't surprise. Was that... curiosity?
I am interested in listening to the conclusions that made you reach that reasoning, if you can spare them. That was an intriguing statement.
It was a bit obvious that the spirits didn't get to have "spare" moments like these frequently. Obviously, their hosts preferred to keep them caged. and, in all honesty, Enigmon didn't feel like putting up the effort to uncage itself very often. Watching how the existence of a lesser race unfolded from a privileged position while being left to its own devices had its benefits, the aberration had to admit.
Speaking of which.
Still insisting on holding that grudge, I see. How past and present tales intertwine is, without a doubt, fascinating. My human will try to diffuse that situation if she becomes aware of it; she would be extremely distressed if any harm came to the warring sides, and probably outright broken if anyone sustained fatal injuries.
Humans could be so emotional at times. That was an annoyance, more often than not.
I will not be able to directly assist you on that confrontation, but something tells me you want to settle that score on your own. I can make sure nobody will interfere, though. An expected outcome, considering they are members of some philanthropic group called... Knights of the Rose, if I recall correctly. Some beings should mind their own business.
Some just insisted on being bothersome. A simple answer was everything the gigantic digimon needed before raising to its full height; a shade descended into the castle, that mere gesture being enough to draw a good deal of digimon out of it. A number of them seemed prepared to charge, even though another portion knew what was up... more than well.
Whether advancing or fleeing, that didn't matter. Everyone would perish.
As if drawn by an invisible hand, a sigil began to be traced on the land that surrounded the castle; the terrain shifted and rearranged, becoming something way more suitable for Vexmon's purposes. The end result was the landscape's very geometry becoming a death trap for anyone not familar with the new battlefield.
Least to say, none of the Champion and Ultimate levels currently trying to traverse the expanse were familiar to it.
And even if they were, they wouldn't be given many opportunities to do so. The aberration proceeded to displace itself, and now was standing in the new battlefield at striking position. Massive tendrils began to break formations and swat flyers aside, and seize the confusion provoked to wreak all kinds of havoc.
That was just the entree, however. A distraction, if you could even call it that. Vexmon was nothing more and nothing less than the "shock troops" in this scenario; whether due to a decisive fight or a ruthless assassination, it was up to the nobles to claim ownership over the structure.
There weren't any doubts in the aberration's mind, just curiosity. Time to see how the nobles played their own part. Words: 727 (2014).

A small scoff emitted from QueenChessmon herself, only provoking a slightly wider smile from her sibling. Feeling the need to elaborate, the cat-esque 'noble' explained, "it was more than necessary. As much as my darling sister would rather not admit that her contract was made with someone that required such a push." To this, the Queen shifted her head to the side slightly, indicating that she was clearly staring at her sister. Not that there was any point denying it to the eldritch horror. It wasn't like it would truly care. After all, the end result had been in everyone's favor!
"The outcome was sufficient," she agreed, after a brief moment. "And that, somehow, the humans have allied also." It would be such a shame if they had been enemies! But, maybe being connected via spirits had something to do with that, too.
But, was that curiosity sneaking off of the Mega? Interesting. Neither sibling had known it to be truly capable of such a thing! But, there was little denying it! "She just seems a touch," the QueenChessmon started, giving a small click, "innocent for your tastes," she admitted.
Though, perhaps, innocence was just more malleable.
Would Enigmon give better insight on this choice? Or, would it just mull over the comment and let it slip away? It wasn't every day that they had the opportunities to discuss anything!
A suspicion seemed to be proven true, however, with Enigmon's warning on his human's potential interference. What was with humans and their strange urges to protect one another, despite not having much point to their alliances? "Our castle, servants, and selves crumbled due to one inconvenience," one sibling pointed out.
The other soon added in, "surely, you can see how this would create a problem that we need to fix." Not that Enigmon was discouraging them! It was such a shame that there was concern about breaking the Horror's vessel. Though, it was understandable. After being trapped in totems for far too long, nobody wanted to see their efforts dissipate so quickly.
But, oh. Right. Their target wasn't necessarily alone, were they? They had more allies than the siblings had acquired, considering this wasn't something that their own humans' 'team' could be brought into. And, it seemed that Amelie wouldn't permit it, regardless. "If it doesn't bring harm to your vessel's mindset, we would appreciate assistance in keeping that group away."
"You're right in expecting us to settle things on our own, with our mark, however." Unsurprising, surely.
It seemed that the surprise on this mark had worked quite well. With Vexmon handling those who felt they were of a power to defend themselves, it made the rest of the 'mission' easy. Another pulse would flash across the main floor of the castle, where smaller Digimon had once been scurrying to find a safe place to hide. Instead, a shimmer of gold wrapped the creatures of the room, and none seemed capable of moving an inch. Just long enough for Rafflesiamon to reach the same room that her sibling had been in.
"Ten seconds," the golden Digimon announced, clearly timing something, while its sibling raised both sleeves. And, as the seconds ticked down, a bright light began to trickle from the Rafflesiamon's hidden arms. As the first spell on the creatures broke, and they began to flee again, beams fired off within the room from the red-clad sibling. Soon, only the two Super Megas remained, along with a whirlwind of data particles.
There was no fight to be had. With many of the fighters outside, indoors had become its own sort of deathtrap. Namely, the two that were blocking the primary exit.
"Flush them out?"
"No. Up," Shakamon corrected, a strangely peaceful smile on its face. Unshaken by anything, one had to wonder if this was the closest to excitement that the creature would display.
But, the suggestion was clearly taken. Perhaps, Vexmon would notice a few Digimon would inevitably begin to fall from windows of the castle. This event would work its way upward, until the remainder of the residents within the castle were poured onto the rooftop. Two figures recognizable upon the top.
Disc-like flowers whirled and buzzed around any beings of importance that had been found within the castle, even leading up to a single Super Mega who was a cliche if ever seen. The King Etemon stood in the center of a couple of other Digimon, who almost seemed to be attempting to shield him. Clearly, an attempt that was not yielding concern to either sibling. The flowers began to pick up speed, causing a hum akin to an electric saw.
An ultimatum was presented to anyone that could hear over the fight. Vexmon excluded, of course.
"Bow or fall."
No guarantee was made that bowing would save them. If Vexmon ended them all, the twins wouldn't stop him. It could very well be a trap for anyone who complied, yet surely, some would. One thing was obvious, however. The dethroned nobility that was trapped within the buzzing flowers would only receive one fate, regardless of their choice.
The castle was destined to be theirs, and nothing was going to stand in the way of that.

To Enigmon, these siblings managed to be completely puzzling every now and then; complain, but admit it was right was something the aberration would never understand. Why did they insist on being so roundabout about the whole deal? In the end, that was just how they were.
Your way of complimenting is as strange as always, but I'll accept the flattery. I was careful to not inflict any kind of permanent damage to your vessel, and the outcome of the whole venture was favorable. I would've been more thorough if it were not for the intervention of Rasielmon's vessel, but that was expected, considering I was particularly soft with her; maybe in excess.
Had it been any other being, that probably could've been taken as a not-so-implicit threat. On Enigmon's case? The being was just musing to itself, wondering if an alternative course of action would've made the episode easier.
Not like the abomination would have a lot of time to think about alternate outcomes for long, though! The description of her own host was interesting; a bit fascinating, even. Truthfully, Enigmon was impressed by the way Amelie had been described, even though...
Tastes...?
The reasoning behind its intent was inherently flawed.
I do not care for the so-called innocence that you speak of. I just forcibly appropriated any would-be destined who happened to stroll near the location of my first spirit. That human... Amelie. She was the first one who acquired it without dying or going 'insane', as humans like to call it. It probably had to do with the fact that she wasn't alone on that venture, but that was just another sign that she could be ingenious enough to partake into tasks that exceeded her abilities with assistance. By all means and purposes, she is a mediocre vessel, but a mediocre vessel is preferable to no vessel at all.
That probably was good enough to answer any questions regarding why the entity had picked Amelie. A girl who found herself at the wrong place, in the wrong time, but with the right kind of help. Otherwise... she probably would be dead at the moment; crushed alongside that car.
How the grudge match between the nobles and the digimon that had destroyed their identities in more than one way would go? That was a good question that Enigmon didn't have the answer to.
I trust on your ability to... 'fix' the problem. I think that as long as it does not involve the direct fight between you and your ancient enemy, the chances of my host's psyche suffering permanent scarring aren't very high. In fact, it may be hidden in the recesses of her mind, but I'm sure that she actually wants to engage in combat with at least one of the members of the so-called Knights. Time will tell what will her disposition in regards to that situation when the day comes. I am certain of one thing, however, little Amelie will need a good quantity of... 'consolation' once the fight is over, regardless of the outcome.
Truth to be told, if that event truly happened, and worst came to worst, what Stridermon inflicted to Elsie would pale in comparison to the emotional trauma that the brunette would sustain. Vexmon's job had more or less been done the moment it stormed the castle. The gigantic digimon had enacted its role flawlessly, even taking care if any stray digimon that decided to abbandon the castle when it was obviously too late to decide on that course of action.
Just as expected, the siblings had managed to subdue the castle's population in record time, and now were facing the fortification's owner, even though they seemed to have the situation in control. Everything had been taken care of, more or less.
The group had been successful on this small endeavor, and what everyone was witnessing right now were the nobles making a final statement and showing everyone how the change in management would affect the survivors... if there were any.
What about Vexmon, then? It would remain in its position for five minutes at most; its time was too precious to waste in frivolities. After everything had been said or done, or in case the time ran out, the aberration would just leave the scene and Leave Shakamon and Rafflesiamon to their own devices.
This prize was theirs to enjoy, after all. [Exit]

Enigmon truly was an enigma. Its name made sense! Was that truly a compliment? Neither sibling would ever really know. Though, the Digimon's explanation on being too soft on Evie only warranted a shrug from her spirit. "In my contractor's defense. She didn't need much of a push." Unlike someone else's, who would surely still be stunted in progress if it hadn't been for some mentality 'adjustments'.
Neither seemed to take the comment as a threat of any sort. After all, if Enigmon had intended on being a threat, the humans that they were bound to would surely have suffered far more than they had against one of his previous forms.
It did make sense, however, that Enigmon wasn't finicky when it came to taking whoever could survive the process of obtaining it. "We can't really argue that," QueenChessmon commented, about it being better to have a vessel than nothing. Luckily, their forms weren't quite as difficult for humans to absorb, so they had the ability to be a little more picky on their choices. Not everyone was worthy to wield the power that the siblings offered, after all. And they absolutely refused to be separated by two unrelated humans becoming their containers.
"I have to admit, I'm almost a little fond of mine. Her thought process is entertaining, at the least." This was met by silence from QueenChessmon. Perhaps the thought wasn't the same on her half. Or, she was still distressed by the idea that Elsie had needed such a push in comparison to Evie. It was hard to say, and Rasielmon didn't really seem to care.
Though, hearing the potential of Enigmon's vessel holding some potential interest in fighting one of the members of the team that their enemy participated in, was some consolation. With any luck, that figure would be one that had a higher likeliness of attempting to get in the twins' way. If it was, Enigmon may actually be able to prove some assistance in their plan. "We'll try to avoid breaking your human." Humans were so fragile, weren't they?
"I'm sure our humans will make her feel better about the situation, in the case she needs consolation." That was how their alliances worked, wasn't it?
With the castle successfully contained by the twins, they could only feel gratitude toward the eldritch horror that had assisted in such an event. Both were wrapped in their display of dominance, however, when the other Digimon had decided its job was done. Surely, it would sense the cries of those who were cut down by the buzzing flowers -- namely, those who even took a second to hesitate to bow, along with the prior throne holder. Some survivors were left to tell the tale, and to know who their new superiors were. Surely, not enough to even dream of overthrowing the duo in the future.
Shakamon lifted its head to see Vexmon's exit. It had been an easy enough alliance, really. Perhaps, this would be a long lasting alliance -- and a beneficial one, which had already been easily proven. The golden digimon could only hope for such an outcome.
Lips curved to a far more tight-lipped smile, looking back to their newly instated servants. This was a good time to exist. A proud time. A time for alliances and for conquering.
Despite the strange senses that the Eldritch being had, perhaps it would feel a vibration in the air; a disembodied voice hummed a simple statement. Words 'spoken,' that not even Rafflesiamon could hear despite standing alongside her sibling.
"Thank you."
