No matter... all I have to do is cancel out their weather with one of my own...
The Wisemon shuffled through his spells - but before he could bring anything to mind, his focus was quickly drawn to something else. Another data signal had passed into his range - and this one, he was quite familiar with.
Snapping his book shut, he put his focus in that direction, even increasing his distance from the battlefield to make sure no-one took an opportunistic shot. There, suspended and floating in the air, he grit his teeth.
That mess of a data signal could only belong to one being.
Then its come to this? Fine... come knocking at my front door, my precious fox. Come see how little your little Knight Club matters in all of this...

It was nerve wracking to most to have to watch this sort of thing, have to wait and build on it. Understanding the threats and the lines that were drawn. People of all walks showing up to this area to deal with the threat; people of every city banding together to deal with this... ideal of sorts that was infectious to some while forced on others.
But when that explosion that went off? Well that just threw things into overdrive. It grabbed their attention and the knights themselves scrambled to answer. The only people she could get a hold of immediately were Luke and Iko. They had their own ideas of how to deal with this and she'd let them.
She could feel that data signal, weakly at first. Perhaps it was the distance or perhaps it was just her soft sensitivity to it. But when he became what she hated most? She could feel him breathing down her neck, she could feel those hands on her face. That hand on her head telling her to bow.
There was an absolute pain in that.
She had to get outside, had to get into a place where she could just breathe. Where she could just stretch her wings and... The renamon paused as she went out of the door to Vander tower. Her eyes widening as she could felt the pulsing hatred inside of her boil and bubble.
This digimon had wronged her.
This digimon had put his own desires over hers and forced her to do something she in her right mind would not of normally. There was a few thoughts that wanted to say stop. Wanted to say that she needed to think about this. Calmly, rationally. The voice of silence.
But there was one voice she owned up to. That of a mother, a lover, a wife. A knight. And like that knight she opened up her mouth and let out a bellow of such an extreme rage that her form itself was ripped apart as those giant wings spread forth.
She might not of been as large as them. She might not of been as powerful or as smart, or even as well known or well liked. But she had a drive that they couldn't compare to, and the raw rage that she felt bubbling up the surface continued to push and push and push.
Her wings flapped and the wind listened, the world listened. She went forward with that raw rage. That raw desire to fix what was wrong. But even amidst all that rage, all that passionate hatred towards a single entity was the calm. The collected. The burning light that strove even further beyond that.
She was in control.
Her wings carried her faster and faster away from the lofty height of vander tower. Until the battlefield a plenty made itself known, she cruised over those picket lines, those forces doing battle. She didn't demand attention, ask for it, or even fight for it. She never asked for it and would never ask for it.
But it was given anyways.
A second roar, louder than the first would follow suit as her eyes locked onto the wisemon himself. It wasn't hard to find that single being standing above all others. Or trying to and failing like the wretched little caster he was. His name seeped into the roar, her voice laundering hatred far past what she was feeling.
"WISEMON."
Her roar was followed quickly by the monstrous mon careening forward. Following suit with a upwards swing aiming to launch the wisemon even further skyward. She had a desire to move this fight into the realm above. Further away from the beings below. She didn't just desire them to fight in the air, she desire them to fight in the lofty heights past the clouds, past the brim of the world.
In a place she barely knew of, a place that some would call...
Space.
Log: -K has arrived as Examon. -K has made a basic attack in an attempt to sweep the wisemon further upwards.
Passives:
Scale-Skin: This digimon receives less damage from all attacks but is slower as a result.
Flight: This digimon even as large as they are is capable of flight with their wings.
RAM UPGRADE GIGA]: Crimson Mantle: Jesmon's signature cape; adjusted for size for each Digivolution. This cape has a few soft abilities each that scales with the level given. It may provide flight [if the wearer already can fly their movement is increased by one step] and it can block a single attack relevant to the power of the level of the host digimon before implementing a cool down of two posts for the block itself. This mantle may be passed to others but it's effectiveness for others is generally halved.

Ah, there she was... and what a glorious appearance, an Examon! The one form K had that dared to defy his control. Despite the anger and frustration that he had held towards K, her failures and her defiance, Wisemon couldn't help but have a chuckle on his face.
He gave little more than a cross-arm guard as he was hit, propelled high up in one motion. For him to take such a blow, it meant that he wanted this as well: the dragon lured as far away from the battlefield as possible. It hurt, of course, but those groans of pain were well hidden behind that cloaked visage..
"Oh, come now, K. I'm right here, I can hear just fine!"
The Sorcerer teased her, as he always had, snapping open his book like a practiced spellcaster, cautiously drifting backwards as the dragon undoubtedly approached. Already, the text on the pages gave a pulse, an ominous golden glow radiating over his shaded face.
A golden glow, that started to envelop his entire frame.
"I would like to say its been nice to see you. But considering the circumstances... well. I might be a touch more unforgiving, today."

There it was, that snark that irritating glow that the wretched spell-caster always seemed to have. It drove her hatred further and fed that fuel to the fire. She could feel silence in the back of her mind, back of her core gently soothing in their touch. They understood the hatred and pain, but they also helped her keep a firm lid on some of the more problematic emotions in a sense. His snark and allowance for him to be hit by her only followed the internal question as to 'why' he would want something like this. Flapping her wings once she'd propel herself upwards. That massive billowing cloak that was constant in all forms tugging against her frame. That ominous golden glow she didn't care about, she knew all digimon varied in builds and forms along the paths that each of them walked. His teasing retort and the following motion came again. A fist blazing upwards to hit the wisemon again. They needed to be higher, they needed to be further. "You talk too much."Anything she used in the air would affect those below. So if there simply wasn't a below for her attacks to reach well... She could fight more freely. Any attack that she used in this form would devastate the forest, likely destroying anyone caught in the blast. She couldn't allow that nor would she let the other she was fighting to use that to his advantage. Attacking in places she would not and could not. But with how high they were any attack aimed upwards... Well she could use that. "Megido."Her mouth opened up wide, regardless if she hit or not she'd aim at the wisemon. A small globe of pure destruction and fire appearing in it. The miniature sun compacted itself to a finepoint before blazing forward, it's sight's clearly set on the wisemon. Log-K has made another basic attack trying to push the wisemon even further. -K has used Megido Moves: Megido: This attack allows the digimon to shoot out what could be considered a miniature sun. This sun acts much like a projectile and explodes when colliding with anything melting just about anything it touches. It deals an heavy amount of damage and can only be used once every three posts. Passives: Scale-Skin: This digimon receives less damage from all attacks but is slower as a result.
Flight: This digimon even as large as they are is capable of flight with their wings.
[RAM UPGRADE GIGA]: Crimson Mantle: Jesmon's signature cape; adjusted for size for each Digivolution. This cape has a few soft abilities each that scales with the level given. It may provide flight [if the wearer already can fly their movement is increased by one step] and it can block a single attack relevant to the power of the level of the host digimon before implementing a cool down of two posts for the block itself. Did he talk too much? Or was he getting under her skin?
The Wisemon smirked at her response, the Examon below taking priority over the little 'dots' that made up the little battlefield below. For all of her power, K's attack was rather simple, the sorcerer simply keeping a tight hold of that golden, glowing book - until it turned a sharp red color, as his claw clenched around it, just as the fireball obscured K's view of the sorcerer.
The attack carried through, right towards - and past - the Wisemon's position. It didn't hit anything, but she wouldn't have seen the Wisemon dodge, either. But she would sense a massive data signal behind her, the Wisemon's laugh echoing into her ears.
"Silver had a bad habit. Whenever the kettle would come to a boil, your poor helper would vanish right across the room in shock. He'd swear at himself every time, knowing full well what it was after he did it - but the poor fox couldn't help himself."
He chuckled - his golden eyes blazing, as the rest of the book under Wisemon's arm - the pages now blank - dissipated into trash data.
"As many times as you scolded him, you always found it so adorable."
Wisemon's grade has improved to Super Mega. Wisemon uses Displacement.

K gritted her teeth as that attack missed, both of which failing to find a target. The sun blowing up somewhere in the distance. The muted sound of which was only then crested by that massive data signal behind her, that laughing in her ears as she spun about. Then he spoke. Muted words meant to get under her and under her skin they did. She had found that action adorable yes, she had found the youth pleasant and time and time again he had done things that she liked. She treated him like a son that she never had. There was an explosive breath and the Examon clenched her fists. She felt that rage bubbling over, that passionate hatred frothing at her seams. yes she had. She had and she would and she would of continued to if those two mons hadn't stopped in her home. Her old home. The home that she had let go. Then like icy cool water drenched across her body something else happened. She felt.... She felt pity. Pity for this creature in front of her, trying to grasp at straws of her past. She made a small gesture with her hand. Dismissive, frustrated. There was no longing for the past as it had been a lovely one. Crested with friends, people of all walks. People that now she had sworn to protect. And with a soft hearty sigh that didn't fit the form she was in? She swung that fist with a controlled fury, looking to slam the wisemon again as a huge energy spike threatened above them. A meteor blasting the cloud cover away as it careened towards the two of them. Her massive eyes locked onto the wisemon. If the wisemon got hit by her fist, he'd be knocked into the meteor. But she was... also in the way of it but that was fine. "Overclock. Dawn of the Third day."She had something for this anyways. She. Had something for this. She had... Been ready for this. No.She had been born for this. Log: -K has made a basic attack coupled with Overclock+Dawn of the third day. Moves: Dawn of the Third Day: This attack allows the digimon to drop a single fifty foot in size meteor on a location dealing an immense amount of damage to any caught in it. It cannot be used in the human world or in underground locations. This attack is a once per thread move.
Overclock [For Glory Reward]: This move doesn't use an attack action for the post. Examon gains a massive damage bonus (300%) for one post. Once per thread.
It was clear that Wisemon's words were having an effect. The Sorcerer had cruelly egged her on, and the look of anger in her face was completely unmistakable. Anger led to both power and mistakes, but for the Wisemon, to see the dragon's expression warped in such a visage was just a delight.
But... then it 'stopped', as if something either snapped or clicked within K's head. Wisely, she chose not to return any of the Wisemon's words, and instead swung her arm around to force the Wisemon to keep his distance. His lesson was well-learned, raising one arm to block as he was pummeled back - but just as K prepared her attack, Wisemon unleashed his own:
"Binding Scripture."
Without a book, the Wisemon simply held a hand forward, those accursed symbols flung outward, towards the Examon's extended left wing! If that spell would hit, the words would start to slither across the Examon's wing, up and across the back until it would be bound in a tight ring. Once that would happen? She'd feel the wing's tendons lock up, a severe, tight pain intent to paralyze the appendage.
As for the rock, the Wisemon had to buy time. Instead of challenging it outright, he cut his altitude, and forced himself to descend, just to buy a few more seconds to prepare his next spell...
Dawn of the Third Day is still descending. Displacement CD: 1/3 Wisemon uses 'Binding Scripture'!

Progress she supposed, as she managed to slam another fist into the wisemon. He could keep blocking them but eventually it would wear him down. Her own attack was unleashed and the wisemon followed suit with one of his own. She wasn't in the position to move and she felt that binding symbols acutely. making her large wing spasming and squirm, that tight paralytic pain forcing the wing to remain folded... But that didn't remove her ability to fly if anything it just slowed her down. But that's what he needed right? He needed her to be slow? This examon form wasn't cutting it and as he dropped she had a small fleeting moment of frustration. If she cut her form to another the meteor above them would vanish and they wouldn't be threatened by it anymore. But she also poured a lot of energy into that. Her attacks weren't sending the wisemon flying at this point with him equaling out in her grade so she couldn't just simply push him around as easily anymore. So she had to consider something else. If he avoided that meteor outright well... That would be bad below. Exhaling sharply the massive form of examon was overtaken with an intense brilliant light. It's form shrank, became more refined. More prominent. More of what she was but less than what she had been. She could still feel the binding scripture painfully on one of her arms as that had been where her wing was for the most part in the form she picked. But that didn't stop her from pushing out the thousand or so tiny blades from her sheathes. Even if her examon form was restricted by the binding scripture, she wouldn't be affected here it seemed. She'd stare hard at the wisemon a furrow cresting her brow underneath all that armor. His spells would be troubling... Thankfully with her form becoming as it was... also meant the meteor itself would vanish into thin air. The energy dispersing to the four winds itself. Log: -K digivolved from Examon to Jesmon -Dawn of the Third day has vanished! -K has activated Blades of the Faithful, Odin's flock. Move: Blades of The Faithful, Odin's Flock: This attack summons up what could be considered at the most a thousand or so of tiny blades, represented by petals of a blue hue. Without direction these blades do nothing but circle around their host. It can be considered dangerous to touch them without being the host itself as they are sharp beyond belief. This move itself does not have a cool down, but the blades cannot operate outside of a fifty foot radius. Naturally they cannot fill this whole space and are usually spread out to avoid too much trouble. Passives: Valhalla's Regeneration 'Passive': Each post this Digimon regenerates a medium amount of health. When struck by damage, this healing factor increases to a large amount for three posts and goes on cool down for an equal cool down of whatever move was used on the host. If the move was a once per thread move, a cool down of six posts will be implemented instead.
OathSworn: Any Virus Type deals 30% less damage to this digimon.
Oh?
Oh, wasn't that a sight? Before the Wisemon could appropriate the meteor into his own strategy, K slipped over from her Examon form to that of the other Knight, the Jesmon. His descent no longer necessary, the sorcerer gave a quick turn, and started to rise back up to K's altitude.
Clever... though I wonder how many times you can switch your perspective like that before you mess it up.
This time, the Wisemon took a page out of K's advice, and didn't monologue before his next attack - but what he did next might catch K off guard. When he was able to cherry-pick the best moves out of the Digimon loaded in his tome?
Well, he couldn't leave behind this one: clasping his palms, he extended his hands forward, a golden ring of holy metal appearing before them, a monstrous gate closing around the center.
"Enhanced Spellcast. Gate of Destiny."
At once, those doors would open, a gale-force vortex intent on pulling in those blades - and if he could manage, the Jesmon herself!
Displacement CD: 2/3 Wisemon uses Gate of Destiny! Binding Scripture is suspended and applies to Examon's wing.

It would be rough to bounce around super mega form to super mega form, but the wide area of attacks that examon was capable of would be more worrying in the long run than anything. So she had to role with something more compact now. The afterthought of the other forms were left behind as not only did the wisemon shift back up towards her level... He used a move she recognized, not only immediately but something that spoke volumes of just how many mons he probably had in that bloody book. The vibrant memories of being inside of that book with all that scratching and such. It would be foolish to presume that he had only done it to her and silver, bless the late renamon's heart. The monstrous gate sucked in her blades easily enough and pulled at the Jesmon's frame making her snarl in irritation. Had she not the reaction speed or time she would of been toast. But the wisemon would feel her data signal rapidly vanish and re-appear. Behind him.K let out a small snort and swung both of her arms; now locked at the fists in an attempt to knock the wisemon into his own attack. It was a simple maneuver; one that she had in mind for situations like this but could only do every so often. She had a few tricks left up her sleeve, one other form she knew the wisemon didn't know she had access to now. Her omegashutmon was powerful but the wisemon likely knew about it in a fashion. She'd have to save any use of those two forms for the right time and the right place. If she didn't this fight would quickly devolve into the wisemon picking her apart; so she had to play this fight by ear else she would likely lose. Log: -K used Valhalla's Coridor to avoid Gate of Destiny! -K has used a basic attack to try slam the wisemon into his own Gate of Destiny! -Odin's flock has been sucked in by the gate and must be recast in order to be used again. Move:Valhalla's Coridor: This digimon may teleport great distances out of combat as well as near infinately. Within Combat the concentration required is much higher, making it able to only manage up to One hundred feet and only every two posts regardless if it had taken damage or not. Blades of the Faithful Dissipate and must be re-summoned if the host teleports out of their range. Passives: Valhalla's Regeneration 'Passive': Each post this Digimon regenerates a medium amount of health. When struck by damage, this healing factor increases to a large amount for three posts and goes on cool down for an equal cool down of whatever move was used on the host. Of course you'd use that same trick.
He didn't expect that Gate to simply win the battle on its own: K would either resist the pull, or try and use the Gate to her own advantage. In this case, she went with the second option - using something similar to her 'Displacement' to appear right behind the Wisemon. The Sorcerer turned to face the Jesmon, to already find those fists aimed in his direction. Before, all he had been able to do was block and let that momentum skid him through open space - this effort proved that K had been paying attention.
It also proved that K fell right into his trap.
"Hehe!" This time, Jesmon would feel that attack soundly hit the center of the Wisemon, as he spread out his arms to take the hit - only to wrap his own arms right around the Jesmon's wrists, and pull as hard as he could on it. Yes, he was knocked right towards the Gate of Destiny...
... But he wanted to pull K along with him, so much that his 'Binding Scripture' spread from his arms, to lock himself and K together! "Come along! Let's see what its like on the other side, fox!"
Displacement CD: 3/3 Wisemon uses Binding Scripture in an attempt to bind himself and K together - to pull them both into the Gate!

It was an age old trick, one that was simple and easily remembered. The gate was now behind the wisemon when he turned about. She knew he was stronger as from her examon he hadn't even slid that much. He had taken that book and likely all of those inside of it into himself, else he'd still be carrying the damn thing around. She knew the sorcerer was crafty and had plenty of tricks up his sleeves. So she had to follow suit in the same regard, thinking in bounds or steps. But with the frustration, the hatred and the passionate resolve some things were taking a touch slower to circulate. When her attack landed on his chest and the wisemon grappled her the Jesmon found herself frowning b ehind the mask. The laugh made her softly growl and as she was pulled along the wisemon binded them together. He binded them together in such a position with her wrist blades still in their respective sheathes and they were pointing directly at the wisemon in a fashion. She didn't answer him as he tugged the both of them towards the gate. Instead she simply just extended her blades full force in an attempt to run the wisemon through. If he was so dead set on getting her in there he'd have to also deal with the consequences of that action. She only knew by reputation of what these gates did or where they lead, never have been put in one herself. She didn't' want to go in but the opening her provided to her was too good to pass up because it would also allow her to do other things once they were through.
-K has allowed the grapple and binding scripture to lock the wisemon in place furthering allowing him to pull the both of them into that gate. -K has extended her wrist blades in an attempt to run the wisemon through. Wisemon might have been overconfident - or, more likely, might have been trying to make too much of a show of it.
Holding onto the Jesmon with those binding runes, the Knight was pulled right along with the laughing sorcerer, fast-approaching that open gate behind them. At point-blank range, however, the Sorcerer was not prepared for what happened next - those two powerful blades extending forth, stabbing powerfully through the Wisemon's torso! His back looked contorted as he grit his teeth in pain, data leaking out from his back...
... But ultimately, his goal succeeded. That forced momentum pulled them both through the gate - and from the outside world, all they would see was that golden gate closing, before vanishing without a trace into trash data. But for these two, the fight was far from over. As soon as the gate vanished, the Wisemon brought his legs close, and kicked out, breaking both the binding and forcing his way off of those blades skewering him, his cloak now rendered in tatters. Even through his coughing, though, he couldn't help but laugh.
After all, look at where they ended up. In all directions, the setting looked the same, a staticky black-and-white background with occasional, azure bolts of lightning streaking across random points in the sky. It was impossible to get any sort of depth either, with no natural source of light: the sensation honestly made it look like both were looking at flat images of a TV screen.
In this nauseating environment, the Wisemon gave a breath - this time taking a page out of MarineAngemon's book, surrounding himself in a heart-shaped pink bubble, his wounds starting to mend.
"Oho. Now you've done it..."
Gate of Destiny CD: 1/5 Displacement is ready! Wisemon uses 'Miracle Bubble' to start to mend his wounds - and maintains a distance further away from K. Inside the gate, both perception and data signals are thrown off - and the data inside each fighter starts to feel weird...

Seriously he hadn't taken that into account? The sudden reaction of pain as she stabbed him straight through the torso was enough for her to try to figure out the next step. As they were dragged into the gate, the momentum that her hit along with his own force being enough to drag the two super mega's through. K didn't doubt that he thought he had this in the bag, nor did she really assume him to figure otherwise. Why should he considering that he had been able to trick her into servitude before? But as much as the wisemon knew about her, knew about her powers and knew about her personality. After the library he didn't know anything about those training sessions, the fights the powerful allies and friends she had made. He didn't know just how far that she had pushed herself. How could he?
After entering the gate the hazy, stacticky black and white back drop brought K's attention to it. The bolts of lightning streaking across random points in the sky. She'd furrow her brow slightly casting about for a moment as the wisemon broke free of his self sustained grapple. That laugh causing the Jesmon to tilt her head slightly. No action was wasted as the jesmon slid those wrist blades back into their holsters while another made of pure energy lept into her hands. She'd gauge the distance between them tilt her head ever so slightly and then with a dramatic over the head sweep? She didn't really feel all too good in this zone, and there was that odd hit to her senses she couldn't explain. The blade would leap from her fingertips, spinning in a furious motion to slash at the wisemon. Regardless of whether or not the sorccerer was hit by it the blade would pop out of existence and with a small flourish it would be back into K's hands. "What is this place?"The lathered amount of hatred in her voice was obvious, but she was curious about this place. Never once even hearing of it. She had always presumed what had been on the other side of these gates to be more like a prison or some inescapable plane of light. Log: -K has retracted her wrist blades after wisemon broke the grapple. -K has summoned up Saberk of time and space. -K has used SOTS for a ranged basic attack. -K makes note of the perception hike, unsure of why her data is a little weirdMove: Saberk of Time and Space: A blade considered most holy, may strike where the host deigns. It may leap great distances as both travel time and space between doesn't matter. Sight of a target is required to strike. May be used Indefinitely but while in use... Blades of the Faithful can only be used as an Aegis. The damage of Saberk-OTAS is incredibly high when close and loses much power when used to strike at afar.
This mantle may be passed to others but it's effectiveness for others is generally halved. Cooldowns: Overclock: N/A Dawn of the third day: N/A Valhalla's Corridor: [2/2]

At this point, the Wisemon wasn't too interested in putting forth a counter, so his effort to avoid the simple ranged attack were quite simple - a slight movement to the right, to let that attack easily soar past his bubble. He still needed time to recoup, after all - and if K wanted to waste time asking questions, the Wisemon was more than willing to oblige her.
"Mm? The best answer I can give you, is that this is whatever exists beyond the Gate of Destiny. Truth be told, I've never visited this place myself. Oh, so exciting!" He gave a chuckle, his focus resting entirely on the Jesmon. "But, from how my data felt when we slipped in, I guess the point of this place is to slowly peel away the layers of whatever victim is trapped inside... it would explain why this place is so bizarre, it clearly wasn't meant to be survivable."
Still, he grinned, slowly feeling those wounds heal across his chest. "With time, I guess I could open another Gate back to the Digital World. But I'm going to guess you aren't afforded the same grace?"
He didn't attack, simply letting his words cut nice and deep. It was up to K to figure out what was a truth and what was a lie - was there a way out of this place, without the Wisemon's help?
