"Do I look like I give a rat's ass about whether or not you asked for my help, you hot-headed dumbass? Who the actual hell do you THINK you are, going after this guy alone? 'Great Pike' my ass!" Mao barked at Pike. The Snatchmon was about to lunge for this entity taking the form of his father, but was stopped by the timely appearance of Kissu.
And then, from behind the Snatchmon himself, Mitsuharu had arrived as well. Mao was normally able to handle this stuff herself, but at the same time?
Unfair advantages were pretty fun. Pike had begun to throw a bit of a fit before Tsukiko herself arrived upon the scene and BEAT HIM WITH A PIPE. "...You know, I was actually starting to get tired of his squabbling." The Red Snatchmon commented as he raised his arm towards Tsu.
Mao raised her own arm and fired a bolt of plasma from it without hesitating, the shot itself would have landed had the Snatchmon not twirled away. Then, it occurred to the alien that he was fighting...three against one. These odds were quite unfavorable. "Tch..."
What a goddamn waste. He was already wounded as is, he had to flee! The Snatchmon crouched low before he leapt away, firing the hail of shards at Mao as he did! Thankfully, at such a long range?
D'oh, they missed. "Don't you RUN AWAY FROM ME, THAT TRINKET'S MINE!" Mao yelled, before she turned to the clan. "I'm following him, figure this out and come with or stay!" The alien was running pretty fast, but...Vemmon did have something that this breed of Snatchmon didn't.
Blinking. "Tsu, please forgive me for this." Vemmon then promptly teleported away to give pursuit. She did hope that some of Tsukiko's crew would follow. She couldn't really do this alone--nor did she think she can. Unlike some people. Regardless, a chase was on.
Would she have company for this?

In all honesty, Pike himself was a bit startled at Mao’s words. Her attitude had changed completely. Was this… Vemmon? No, it was a combination of both parts. This didn’t make the Thunderballmon any less pissed off at those words, though.
“W-What did you say?” He was about to go at it if Tsukiko hadn’t… well, ambushed him with a pipe. “Mitsuharu, Kissu, go after him!” Tsukiko ordered, without taking her eyes off Pike. “Are you sure about that, dear?” Kissu asked, looking at their leader. “I’m so sure, it’s actually an order.”
The Babamon nodded and both she and the Musyamon leaped forward to go after the red alien, without questioning their clan leader.
“Guys…” Ramma observed as the duo parted off. For a second, he looked hesitant. “What are you waiting for, Ramma? Go get the alien!” Pike ordered his brother. “W-What about you?” The Mamemon blinked repeatedly, shifting his gaze towards his sibling. “I was challenged to a duel. I can’t leave now.” The Thunderballmon’s eyes went back at the human, looking dead serious. “You’re not actually going to fight Tsukiko, are you?” A bit incredulous, Ramma asked. He then looked at Tsukiko. Upon doing this, his expression changed into one of shock. She was still in a fighting stance. She was 100% percent serious about this.
“Don’t worry. I always fight fair against those who deserve it. I’ll only use this pipe you gave me.” A smirk appeared on the digimon’s face as he took his own fighting stance, putting the pipe in front of him. “No electrical tricks, super speed or any other technique.”
“I… I don’t get it.” A nervous half a smile made its way to Ramma’s expression. “You two are kidding, right? Y-You…”
“Don’t worry, Ramma. We’ll get that alien after I teach your brother a lesson about family.” Tsukiko’s voice had turned cold and fearful. It was nothing like the Tsukiko the Mamemon had met so far. Was she insane? Even if Pike didn’t use his abilities, he was definitely stronger than a human woman! She was going to get killed!
“What do you know about family!?" Pike floated towards Tsukiko, swinging the pipe against her. Instead of using her own pipe to block the attack, the girl crouched to make it a swing and a miss and charged against the Thunderballmon again. This was a real one on one duel.
“She’s not putting the pipe in front of her, because she knows Pike will make it bend with a single hit.” Ramma mostly spoke to himself while he just stared at the bout happening in front of him, eyes wide open. “What is… this girl?”
Sooner than later Snatchmon would get to the main square of this old and forgotten part of town. There, a huge fountain stood tall. It really looked worn out, and it seemed as it had been built ages ago. As he probably remembered, a sign was hanging from the frontal side of the structure.
‘This fountain represents the beginning of a new era. It's the first structure built inside the whole Hardware Den.’
It was a clearly a sign dedicated for tourism, but… It meant a lot more to Snatchmon. This was it. This is where the Hardware Den started. The Digital Underworld had to lay beneath this.
Whether he broke the fountain or managed to break through it somehow, he would find an enormous hole below. The bottom of it couldn’t even be seen due to darkness. He had to leap to find out what was down there.
Once he did, he would land inside an underground tunnel he would have to go through. By the end of it, he would find an antique chamber. This place was massive. It was almost as big as the whole section of the Hardware Den where they were at. However, it just had a bunch of rocks and dirt and it was mostly hollow. It actually looked like many types of minerals had been mined in the past there.
A lake was one of the few things that actually stood out about the whole layout. The other was a huge altar made of stone with another giant hole made on the wall right behind it. A small path led to the altar. Next to the start of it, another sign.
‘Keep away! Don’t touch these relics! Leave the guarding alone!’
Someone had been here before, and they had decided to not mess with any of it. Why? Rex would have to push forward to find out.
Mao, Mitsuharu and Kissu were probably behind the alien’s trail, so he didn’t have much time.

Whether or not she would be present for Tsukiko's duel with Pike, Mao hoped for one thing. That Tsu beat the ever-loving snot out of that jackass. Yet, there was a small hope within the Spirit Wielder that all would be well after this. Now, then. Their pursuit of the Snatchmon was pretty simple.
After all, a Digimon that drips data off of it like blood? It's gonna leave a mark. A trail that, while barely visible, would lead them right where they needed to go! The square of the town was indeed among the places Rex would run to, and it was the sight of the fountain and what the text read that made him stop. Here. Here was where he needed to go.
Rex slammed his arm against the fountain in order to break it in twain. He had to hit it -hard-, at that. And he did, the fountain splitting apart to reveal the entrance to the Digital Underworld. Not wasting a second, the Snatchmon proceeded inside.
By leaping, no, practically DIVING in! Then, upon landing? He ran through the tunnel, only pausing briefly to stare at his surroundings. Lake. Hole. Altar.
He could try collapsing the tunnel, but that would just trap him here. No, he had to push farther. Further. Once at the chamber, he read the sign and promptly disregarded -any- warning it had given. Only the audacious would survive this encounter, especially with the company on his tail.
The Snatchmon was going to go up to the altar. And he was definitely going up with the intent to mess with it. Meanwhile, Vemmon continued to follow the trail that the Snatchmon had left, and she skidded to a halt at the broken fountain. This was where the trail ended. She raised a hand to halt Mitsuharu and Kissu once they caught up.
"If I were a betting girl--which I'm not, I'd bet a few bits that the rat jumped through here." So, with that theoretical gamble in mind, the Vemmon would gesture for them to follow her through as she jumped into the hole. Once she had landed, she'd start to proceed slowly through the tunnel.
After all, their target could be anywhere....

Moving her pipe upwards, Tsukiko managed to clubber Pike. Another metallic sound echoed through the roof. With that slam, Pike’s eyes widened. The first time, he had thought it was nothing but… now this time he felt it again. Why on earth did these strikes… hurt? He was an adult level digimon! Even if it was true he was not using his powers in order to have a fair fight, a human shouldn’t be able to harm him in any way, no matter the strength she slammed him with. It was true he hadn’t seen many before, and he had never actually fought one. However, he trusted what he had read about humans in his father’s book. They just weren’t that strong! No time for dwelling any longer about it. The Thunderballmon swung his own pipe downwards, only to witness another dodge from the girl. Taking small hops backward, Tsukiko took her distance. She went back to her fighting stance. Her determined look was now accompanied by a small pant. She was putting everything she had into this combat. “You don’t know anything!” Pike yelled. “What could you possibly teach me, you idiot!?” Slowly, he took a fighting stance once again. “You don’t know what Ramma and I have been through! You don’t know what it's like! You can’t understand why we need to leave now!”Tsukiko issued no response. Instead, she just charged against the Thunderballmon, running. Pike’s eyes widened as he studied the human’s movement. A frontal attack? No, there was more to it. Once she had closed the distance, Tsukiko raised her pipe with her right hand as if she were to hit Pike again. Mid-air, she dropped it, only to catch it with her left, waiting down below to hit Pike on the side. This time, the digimon was able to read her plan. She was quick, but he knew she wouldn’t throw a straight attack at him. This is why he hadn’t moved his pipe from his side, managing to protect himself from this swing. Immediately, he shook his pipe, impacting Tsukiko’s and trying to hit the pink-haired girl with his piece of metal. The human was able to jump back to not take a full hit, but the aggressiveness Pike had swung his pipe with sent her back, rolling on the ground. “Tsukiko!” Once again, Ramma hesitated about stopping the fight. That had to hurt.
Too much to do and too little time. Once the red Snatchmon went up the set of stairs of the silver stone altar, he would finally find what he had been looking for so long. A dark-blue colored totem rested over a plate of stone. The antiquity glowed with a green aura. From there, it was easy to tell a massive amount of power was held inside this item and there would be no doubt inside the alien’s mind about that. This would be what would get him to the next level. This would give him the power he had been craving for. Once he extended one of his hands to reach it, a deafening roar would get to him. This din was so brutal and mighty that the whole place was even shaking. Not long after, the alien would feel a gust of wind traveling through the dark tunnel located behind the altar. Something was coming his way, and it was moving fast.
Going through the first tunnel, Mao, Mitsuharu, and Kissu ran. “Once we get there, Mitsuharu should take care of Vemmon’s spawn.” Kissu started strategizing as they could start seeing the end of the road. “Maoru should try to get the totem since it belongs to her. And I will try to get that plaque Goyo needs.” She added. The samurai nodded. Would Mao be okay with this plan? Not much time to pay attention to her answer. A roar, coming from the path ahead got to the trio. “W-What was that?” Kissu asked, sounding a bit thrown off. Well, ready or not, here they were. The tunnel had ended and they had reached the clear. From there, they could see the huge altar, the lake, and the rest of the layout. However, what would almost immediately catch their attention was… A giant dragon standing before the red Snatchmon they had been chasing. He had long arms and a very imposing attitude. Smoke swirled around him and he seemed ready to unleash all of his strength. Just by looking at this creature, it was likely everyone could feel he was one level above the killer himself, in terms of power. His sole presence was overwhelming. Majiramon. The protector of the totem and the guardian of the Digital Underworld had finally appeared.

This was it. This was the very totem he sought. Why he had lurked in this backwater den for so long. Once he had it in his hands, his pursuers would be nothing. The Snatchmon did calmly walk up to the totem, and reach out for it. But that roar...
That was...
The alien turned around as the wind buffeted him, and he was faced with... "That sounds like a good plan, but are you sure Mitsuharu can handle it? Sure, he got wounded by Pike but he's still got that totem on him..." Mao mused, before Vemmon's voice rasped. "He still has what's mine, but it won't really help him if he doesn't know how to use it."
That was fair. Kinda.
Yet, they too had heard the angered roar of the guardian. And they had arrived just in time to find the Majiramon about to attack the Snatchmon. "..." Mao's one-eyed visage stared for approximately two seconds. "Okay, new plan. Get me to the totem so I can secure it and we can fight that thing off. Mitsuharu, try dealing with Snatchmon, and Kissu...Provide support wherever you deem fit to." They needed to work fast, and hopefully they agreed with this.
Yet...Mao didn't immediately move. Why? Well, for one, having the enemies be distracted by each other was a big advantage for her. The clan were free to act as they wished.
Meanwhile?
The Snatchmon wasted no time, throwing his arm forward as it converted itself back into it's cannon form, and fired a hail of the shrapnel-like data at the beast! Unfortunately...
He hadn't quite registered the fact this was not something he should be trifling with here.

“Stay down.”Pike held his pipe with his right hand, putting it in front of him, looking menacing. Then, he turned around, starting to walk away from Tsukiko, who had been laid onto the ground. “You had this coming to yourself. You can’t comprehend what a family business like this is about.” The Thunderballmon stared at a roof at the distance, getting ready to jump and give chase to the Red Snatchmon. “Tsukiko! Are you okay?” Ramma started running towards the wounded human, his eyes tearing up. “Stay away, Ramma!” The pink-haired girl yelled, making the Mamemon stop right there. “And you…!” Her blue eyes were affixed on Pike’s back. Her voice made the digimon’s eyes widen up. How was she even conscious right now? “… I can’t… comprehend what family is about?” Having trouble to reincorporate, the human finally stood up again.
“WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT ABOUT!?” Tsukiko’s shouting echoed through the roof, making Pike turned back at her. “Look at your brother, moron!” Her voice was intense, burning as never before. Unwillingly, Pike’s eyes went to Ramma. Tears ran through the Mamemon’s body. Ramma was crying. “You think taking care of your family is doing things by yourself without caring about your own safety!? There are people who worry about you! You can’t just do whatever you want and get yourself in danger!” Tsukiko’s words were heavy, charged with anger. “Fighting alone is not caring about your family! Your family cares about you and you can’t hurt them just because of your stupid pride!” Was she teaching this digimon a lesson she herself had only learned recently? The battle was not over. Tsukiko tightened the grip of her pipe and ran against Pike once again. But the Thunderballmon was not moving… The girl’s words, combined with the sight of his brother crying had struck him harder than he could control. He was barely able to react when she was too close already. Pike put his pipe in front of him but this time the girl hit it with all of her strength, sending the piece of metal jutted through the air. With Pike unarmed, the girl just slammed her pipe against the Thunderballmon repeatedly, making him step back with each hit, uttering some words between each ‘clank’. “Let… us… help… you… you… moron!”Why? Why did these hurt? They hurt a lot. How was a human girl hurting him, a champion-level digimon, with a pipe? Was she actually managing to damage his metallic body? No. This hurt… somewhere else. She was hurting his core. These hits were filled with a feeling of caring. She cared about what he was going through. Each strike reminded Pike when his father hit him when he was little and acted all prideful. Yes. Just like his father's, these hits weren't hurting his body. They were hurting his soul. Each attack was actually filled with… love? “LET’S DEFEAT HERMES TOGETHER!”With this last sentence, Tsukiko slammed him with a final swing, making him finally fall on the ground.
The attack coming from the Red Snatchmon was naïve, to say the least. Without even moving, the energy around Majiramon got even more overwhelming. Everyone around him would feel heavier. A gust of wind was thrown the alien’s way. It was so strong that it would probably make that hail of sharp data vanish midways. If there was still any doubt in the air, it had been cleared by now. This guarding was extremely powerful. That much was clear for the Ashikagas present, at least. “I like your plan, Maoru." Kissu stated, looking at their own alien. "I’ll cover you until we get to the totem." She showed a grin at the girl. "Mitsuharu, you make sure to draw the guardian away.” Her eyes then went to the samurai, giving the final order. Just like that, the group started moving. “Itto-Ryu! Draining Slash!” Mitsuharu moved his sword, sending a slash of wind against the dragon. The latter managed to avoid it, even if it was without wanting it. He was actually charging against the Red Snatchmon, trying to slam him with his body, even if it was likely the crimson alien had moved a long way from his original position, considering Majiramon's gust of wind could have sent the killer propelled a long distance. That was probably the sign it was the moment for Kissu and Mao to make a move towards the totem. Said and done, the alien and the elder ran up the stairs of the altar and finally got to the item. A huge amount of energy could be felt coming from this object. “This is it.” The Babamon slowed her pace and stared at the item. Right below the artifact, an ancient plaque could be found. “And this must be what Goyo was looking for.”A roar would get to them. “He’s going your way!” Mitsuharu’s shouting echoed throughout the clear. He was chasing the dragon, trying to distract him, but it was likely he wouldn't comply. When the duo turned, they would actually see Majiramon moving at great speed towards the altar. They had been busted. “Quick! Take the totem!” Kissu blurted. They didn't have much time. “Please tell me you remember that chant!”

Was this even meant to be possible? Nothing was meant to stop that attack! How come it just up and vanished? This and other inane thoughts filled the head of the Snatchmon as the winds of Majiramon quite literally blew him away, far from where he was. He was trying to regain some semblance of balance after hitting the ground, before a familiar shape slammed into him, propelling him back even further. There were chunks of him beginning to fall off, too! That shape was...The Musyamon. How -irksome.- "Why don't you go pick on someone else, you -rat.-" The alien snarled as spikes of red seemed to erupt from within him, before launching outwards. They were threatening to impale Mitsuharu! Meanwhile, Mao and Kissu made their move towards the totem, and ran up the stairs. The energy emanating from the totem was palpable, to say the least. "This is it." The alien noted. It was not quite clear if Mao or Vemmon was the one in control, but they spoke with such certainty... A roar sounded their way. "Take the plaque. Vemmon refuses to say the chant, so I'll handle this." The one-eyed Rookie told the Babamon as she took hold of the totem, and turned to face the rapidly approaching dragon. "The darkest of times has arrived. Against evil forces, I must strive. I call for thou, the spirit of the underworld. To beat the ones whom to the power have furled. The power of ancient times I need to borrow, in order to help my allies and end their sorrow. Forever we may share the strength of this bond. Come save us all, Cyberdramon!" Mao's recitation of the chant was less than perfect, but the totem changed colors from a dark blue to a royal purple, much like Vemmon herself, before it disappeared. Three rings of fractal code surrounded the Vemmon as Mao promptly went through what some might call warp digivolution for spirit users. After all, what would something like that be if you didn't get the human totem beforehand? And as they converged upon the rookie, she began to grow in size until she was about eight and a half feet tall. Four distinct wings began to unfurl as the shape of the Vemmon became a great deal more bestial, and more of a techno-organic mess. Hell, she even gained a tail from this. In but a moment, the evolution was complete, and a royal purple Cyberdramon knelt on the ground, it's five eyes glowing bright as it made a rather menacing chitter. This Digimon wasn't really known to speak, it appeared. It put an arm to the ground as it seemed to rip a chunk of the altar out...And reshaped it into a halberd. It was strange, it was like Mao herself knew exactly how to use this. The Cyberdramon leapt off of the ground at Majiramon, jabbing its halberd forward once, midflight, before a blast of plasma was fired at the dragon.

Unable to actually stop the dragon, and hearing Mao finally recite that chant, Mitsuharu just stood there, observing the outcome of this situation. Admiring Mao’s Magnificence, at its full splendor.
Kissu was not different. She tried to deploy a magic shield around the alien, but stopped herself when she noticed her transformation was actually happening! Vemmon was evolving in front of her eyes. A massive gust of wind was released right when the girl finished reciting the chant. It was as if all of that power they had previously felt inside the trinket had been released. And it was about to fuse with Mao.
The Babamon didn’t manage to stand in her two feet next to the evolving digimon and was jutted backward. “She did it!” She managed to exclaim while she was being propelled.
Purple winds kept coming out from the center of the transformation. The water around the lake had started moving and the whole place was shaking! Majiramon himself was sent back, unable to actually attack the girl while she evolved.
When it was all done, an imposing dragon was standing before them.
“Cybedramon…” Kissu managed to utter, staring at this new creature.
And, with that, a brutal fight had broken loose. In fact, maybe two battles, at that!
Majiramon remained floating above the ground. When Cyberdramon tried to impale him with her halberd, he managed to protect himself with his arms and actually pull the enemy by the weapon, trying to throw him off balance. However, he wasn’t ready for the plasma, coming out of the beast’s body. He tried to drift back and get himself away from that technique, but it unavoidably reached his body, making the guardian roar in pain.
Immediately, another gust of wind came out of Majiramon’s body, trying to make the flying difficult to perform for Cyberdramon. Then, a burst of what could only be described as a white-colored fire came out of the dragon’s mouth, attempting to scorch Mao.
Kissu, on her end, managed to stand up and started advancing towards the altar again, trying to get the stone. It didn’t take her much to notice this place wouldn’t hold out much longer.
Mitsuharu, on his side, wouldn’t have much time to stare at the battle developing. He had turned his back from Red Snatchmon and that had been a terrible mistake. He managed to actually feel the shards coming his way, but he was too late to react. Seconds after, he could feel each and every one of them thrusting at his back. The digimon let out an audible groan of pain, falling to his knees.
That had been a clear strike. Mitsuharu could feel every piece of red data stabbing his back and pushing inside his body, slowly destroying his data tissues. In case you’re wondering? That hurt a lot. The Musyamon clenched his teeth and tightened the grip of his sword, using it to keep himself half-standing.
This was not all, however. Slowly, he even started getting up. Straightening his back was terribly painful, with all of those shards incrusted into him. He managed to comply, nevertheless. And, if he was standing now, it meant he was going to make the best out of it.
“I guess you striking me through the back helps us lever the stage.” Mitsuharu declared, slowly turning towards the alien. “It means it's okay if I attack you while wounded.”
And, with that, the samurai charged against the alien, trying to slice him with his blade.

The bestial, esoteric-seeming dragon actually had a plan in mind for how to deal with the Majiramon, despite essentially going through a gigantic rush of adrenaline at the moment. However, the dragon was adamant on throwing wrenches into the works. What a miracle it was that the newly evolved Spirit Wielder could maneuver around these. First, the gust of wind.
It threw Cyberdramon off, alright, but the white flames were something that she had to avoid. With the added difficulties in flying through the wind, this meant that she was unable to completely avoid the fire. Although Cyberdramon wasn't entirely organic, that didn't mean that it didn't hurt like hell to feel those flames graze against her. Royal purple? More like, charred black.
Cyberdramon surged through regardless, her claw reaching forward and opening up to try gripping onto the Majiramon, before she swung her hand downwards. This was her Eraser Claw attack. If she managed to grab it? Then she'd be hurling it down to the ground, before following suit! "Turning your back to me was your first, and most fatal mistake." The Snatchmon told Mitsuharu as he turned towards him, his arms returning to their bladed forms from his duel against Pike. "Furthermore, you already attacked me while I was wounded. Call that getting even."
With that, he charged at Mitsuharu, the two locking blades. There was something that the samurai again had over the Snatchmon, and that was the simple virtue of having not weathered another fight beforehand. If the Musyamon would apply enough force or pressure behind his blade, he'd be able to start to push through the defense of the Snatchmon.
Or, even better, separate him from that precious totem around his neck....

The white flames shot by the guarding had just the desired effect on his opponent. It didn’t come as surprising at all that the rival had managed to withstand this attack and actually come up with a comeback. After all, Majiramon was very much aware of what he was guarding and how much power it held.
The downside of his burning technique didn’t take much to become obvious. Majiramon had blocked his own vision by throwing all of these flames, and he was about to pay a high price for this. A price that came in the shape of a claw right to his face. It didn’t matter Cyberdramon was fairly smaller than the dragon, she had managed to drag him down into the floor. The speed gained while they descended from such height quickly converted into a brutal smash against the ground, which only made the whole stage tremble even more. The earthquake that had started with Mao’s evolution and the set-off of this battle had only prolonged. And it didn’t seem like it was going to stop, not until this place was completely destroyed.
The Majiramon’s response to this attack didn’t help much to the stability of the whole layout. Another gust of wind. This one was at least ten times mightier than the last one and it tried to send the Cyberdramon propelled towards the roof of the underground cave. The burst of energy was coming out of the guardian’s body and it just didn’t seem to stop. Once he had managed to throw the enemy into the air with this, hopefully having her smashed against the roof, the Majiramon would use the gust of wind as a propeller to go up. The goal? To impale his enemy with his right claw, which had now grown bigger than Cyberdramon’s body and was glowing in golden energy.
The consequences these combats were having to this place were so obvious Kissu just knew she had to move fast. The Babamon had finally reached the altar and the pedestal again. She tried to take the stone where the totem previously rested above, but it seemed to be stuck! The elder started pulling from the plaque, trying to get it out. “Come on!”
Everyone could only hope Mao and Mitsuharu ended this quickly.
Regarding the latter? He didn’t seem to be too worried about his opponent. Neither did he like talking as much as the alien apparently enjoyed to do.
“You’re wrong, as usual.” He replied, now that their blades were colliding. “Around… ten times wrong.” He added. Why, ten times? Well, the red Snatchmon could meet his answer by just looking around him. Ten Musyamons, just like the one he was facing right now were surrounding their face-off, and they seemed ready to attack.
It was clear Mitsuharu could not forgive what this murderer had done. It not only went against every sense of justice or any concept of what's right that he believed in. But, if he knew Tsukiko at all (which he did), this alien had also hurt a future member of their clan.
For those reasons and many more, it was time to end this. Not by taking the totem off him to debilitate him, but by actually eliminating him and then taking the trinket.
With this, Mitsuharu just jumped back into the group of clones, disappearing between them. One by one, the replicas attacked the monster. If the killer tried to defend himself, he would find each of them exploded upon being hit, only causing more damage.

Cyberdramon hadn't taken into account the fact that Majiramon had set himself up for that, but it was all the better for the B-Hybrid. As she had slammed the Majiramon into the ground, she made the mistake of leaning in. Her next attack was promptly interrupted by the gust of wind that blew her all the way to the ceiling, the Cyberdramon promptly being stuck in the stone as the Majiramon would, unfortunately, be able to connect with that claw.
Yet, what if...
A guttural hiss sounded from the Cyberdramon as she launched her counterattack, it's very ribs extending and unfurling forwards in an attempt to skewer that claw, or whatever bits of Majiramon she could reach! The alien definitely seemed to like the sound of his own voice. Something that worked against him, most of the time. The Snatchmon glanced around himself at Mitsuharu's words. "Pfah, needing numbers to defeat me?" Like that'd work!
The blade lock had been ended, which left the Snatchmon free to attack each one. Of course, he didn't count on them exploding. All of them. No, really, every time he was attacked, he struck back even after being hit by the blades of the clones. A total of ten explosions rang by the end of this struggle, a battered and beaten Snatchmon standing at the end.
"Where are you. WHERE ARE YOU." He snarled, weakly raising his arms once more as he looked around for Mitsuharu. He wanted to end this already. Squash these bugs under his heel and move on. So where was he?

Consequences. Those were to be had after Majiramon had actually nailed a combo, no doubt. In this case, the consequence was… pain. The dragon’s golden claw impaled his opponent, pushing Mao against the ceiling in a brutal manner. The other consequence was the place crumbling down even more! No time to lose here. The group had to finish these battles and get out of the Digital Underworld as soon as possible.
The guardian’s face seemed a bit… startled at Cyberdramon’s ribs actually extending to reach him. The unfurling organic tissue managed to actually swirl around the dragon, wrapping him and leaving him completely immobilized. Trapped and desperate, Majiramon thrashed, trying to free himself from Mao’s grab. The ribs were stone solid and he couldn’t brake free. He was stuck against a Cyberdramon up above in the ceiling now.
In his last desperate attempt to break free, the Majiramon started spitting another burst of white fire against the dragon. Being so close, this meant this time the technique was practically impossible to dodge. Mao was taking all of the damage that could be taken from such attack unless she let the dragon free. However, at the same time, the Majiramon was trapped right there, so it was a good moment to cause enough damage to leave him out of combat...
… if Cyberdramon could withstand the heat.
As each and every one of those clones impacted on Snatchmon, Mitsuharu was no different. He also charged against the alien, striking him with his own blade. The difference, of course, was that he didn’t explode upon being struck back. When the rampage finished, the Samurai was nowhere to be found. Whether this was due to him hiding to strike his final blow or the fact that the alien was dizzy from all of those explosions, was hard to determine right now.
But where was the Musyamon? The killer would have to look on the rocks falling all around them to find his answer. Mitsuharu jumped from one falling rock to another before they hit the ground, closing in on the alien. Once he was close enough, he took a leap towards the red Snatchmon. His blade was practically beating like a heart right now. It glowed with a dark aura like all of the samurai’s energy had been stored in it. When the distance was minimum, his speed just raised greatly. One second was all the time it took him to get from right in front of the alien to around 15 meters behind him.
"Itto-ryu! Lai Jutsu!"
A powerful slash had been delivered. If the alien had planned to deliver his own attack, Mitsuharu would just try to withstand that in order to come out victorious. This was a face-off, after all.
It finally budged! Kissu had been able to retrieve the stone. She fell on her rear, holding the item on her hands. It showed a bunch of complicated inscriptions and drawings. For a second, she frowned. Fortunately, it was not her job to read this. Goyo would have to figure it out!
The elder raised her gaze, scanning the layout of the chamber to locate her partners. Then, she saw Mao, up above! She placed both hands around her mouth and shouted.
"Maoru! We need to leave, now!"

This was, startlingly, not the worst injury Mao had sustained during her adventures here in this world. That didn't mean that it wasn't absolutely painful, of course. It also meant that this was paltry to what came next. It was true that Mao's Glutton Fang had essentially left the Majiramon immobilized, but what that meant was that she was in range for it to breathe more fire.
All of it was focused on her. The dragon was correct in assuming this was an insane amount of damage, but at that moment? The ribs immobilizing the Majiramon did not budge. Cyberdramon was opting to take that attack head on. Though she had sustained enough damage (it was actually A LOT of it) to leave her charred black, she had to strike at the heart of the beast while she had the chance. Cyberdramon stabbed it's spear forward for Majiramon's core--or where she was certain it was. Regardless of if she fell here or not, she was going to take this thing with her!
She could also hear a voice, likely Kissu's, but it was drowned out by the fire and her own roars. This was...not good. At the end of the scuffle, the Snatchmon was left delirious and yelling in anger. He had no clue that Mitsuharu actually lurked up above, and he was poised to strike.
The cavern was collapsing around them, and the sounds of someone leaping from rock to rock drove the Snatchmon to direct his gaze towards the source, Mitsuharu. He was coming in fast, but now was the time to end this. He did plan to deliver his own attack, a final, vicious swing of his blades.
But alas, it was not enough. Mitsuharu had emerged victorious in that brief clash. The alien fell to his knees as he dissipated into naught but data, the chain around his neck that had been holding the other totem having been broken. The H-Totem clattered to the ground as the Snatchmon's data began to fly out of the cavern and to the Village of Beginnings.
Maybe Mitsuharu should start rounding his friends up and getting out of the collapsing underworld.

Truth be told, Red Snatchmon has not taken Mitsuharu even near his limits. Maybe it had to do with the fact that he was already injured when this combat started. That didn’t mean the alien had not managed to cause a lot of damage on him. Panting, the Samurai reincorporated, sheathing his blade.
“I’m sure Vemmon would have wanted to end you himself. I hope you come back as a spawn that makes him proud.”
As respectful as always, the digimon just walked away from his disintegrating opponent. Time to get out of here! But how was Mao faring?
Not so bad, actually. It was a bit hard, but her spear had managed to finally reach Majiramon’s core. The guardian seemed surprised that she was actually withstanding his flame only to eliminate him! Slowly, her weapon encrusted inside the beast, making the dragon release a roar of pain as it reached for his core. Slowly, he started vanishing into bits of data. While he did, Mao could actually see something in her brain, as if an image had been transferred into her mind.
The figures were shadowy and hard to decry. There seemed to be 9 digimon around another being. Was that a digimon? No. What was standing right at the center was a human. She was actually seeing this through someone’s eyes. When those eyes looked below, she could tell this was Majiramon. She was seeing Majiramon’s memories. Warriors of all kinds gathered around this human. It was a woman. What was she doing? She had… trinkets! Were those the spirit totems? There was Snatchmon’s and Cyberdramon’s!
Before Mao could see anything else, the image disappeared. When she came back into reality, the Majiramon was gone. His data was spreading through the air.
“Maoru! There’s no time! Let’s go!” Kissu, holding the stone under her right arm, called for the girl once again. Mitsuharu was already throwing slashes at rocks blocking the path to the tunnel from where they entered. The Digital Underworld was collapsing and they needed to move! Cyberdramon's skills would definitely be of help in their escapade.

The alien only went out with ire. Hatred for his killer. Who knew how he would come back, if he came back at all? Meanwhile, the elder alien was in a bit of a pickle herself. She struck at the core of the monster from what she'd call the heart of hell itself, but did it work?
Reality briefly became eclipsed by an image in her brain. Shadowy figures around a...A human? Who were they? Who was this woman? And why did she have the possessions that she had been seeking throughout this journey? As her vision came back into reality, one question had finally been answered.
It did work. Majiramon was gone. They needed to go. They needed to go quick. Simple thoughts that stemmed from the Babamon's words. The dragon turned to see rocks blocking their way out, and it let out a howl as a warning to Mitsuharu to get out of the way for what she was about to do.
Cyberdramon gave one beat of it's wings as it went to ram into the rocks blocking the path with it's spear...and itself. Would they give way? Let's find out.
